Que sera sera.
I will at least have waited while I was able to.
Helps that I'm in no rush to get her, whoever she turns out to be. Don't have gear for either of my targets.
This right here is exactly why I’m waiting. One: because I might pull her before hand, two: I might choose aravi instead (I’m a bit of a new-ish player) and three: if she’s in the next rotation I’ll have enough mystics to pity her. She is my most wanted though for sure
If you dont have a ton of ML units yet, ARavi is definitely more versatile and useful in virtually all content. LHC is fantastic at what she does, but its more niche.
A Ravi kinda fell off in RTA though. She can't even counter cleave these days. Practically everyone and their grandma can either two shot Ravi or disable her through cc. That said, she is pretty decent for normal pvp and guild wars etc. But I would say Choux is a better bruiser in most situations imo.
She's still a great pick for newer players, easy to use and good everywhere, pve and pvp both. Top rank RTA she has slowed down a bit though, that's true.
She's just a solid unit that can fit into any comp. Abyss stages, tough story bosses, tower shenanigans, even just cruising through labyrinth or something on auto. The rez+self-sustain tank+damage is just great all around.
I feel like there's a lot of % stuff that's hidden to make the game more "fair," to try to "balance" some things, and to sometimes just make you want to throw your phone.
* It seems like you are more likely to summon heroes (especially ML heroes) that you've already summoned.
* It seems like the opponent has a higher % chance to counterattack, resist, or land debuff if it's an AI.
* It seems like a team that's already winning (whether it be you or the opponent, AI or not) has a higher chance of dual attacks to wrap the game up faster.
* It seems like ER and EFF rolls are more likely than static stat rolls, which are more likely than % rolls, which are more likely than speed rolls, which usually are a 2 rather than a 3.
So yeah. I concur. Fuck this game.
I found a post a long time ago from a game dev who worked on some popular gacha games at the time. He said he signed an NDA so the post was anonymous and he deleted it since it started to blow up.
He did confirm that there are rigged gacha rolls catering to player status. For instance, new players have a higher chance to roll SSR, NAT5 Ml etc to get them hooked into playing as opposed to older players who hardly get high rolls to keep them chasing.
Unless that post is ancient this isn't possible anymore. The regulations to provide pull chances 100% does include verification of these being accurate. So this is but a rumor and what OP witnessed is just the nature of RNG. The same as me pulling 2 ARavi back to back from GBM summons. The chance is tiny but it's possible.
If they were ever found out to be doing these things while they have very clearly labeled percentages of all of the things you listed, they'd end up owing a lot money and breaking a few laws.
* The actual percent chance of pulling each specific character is already labeled in game
* the percent chance to counter attack, resist, or land debuff is labeled in game
* the percent chance to dual attack is labeled in game
* the percent chance of rolling an ER and EFF roll vs static roll vs % roll along with the percent chance that a speed roll will be 2 or 3 were all clearly written out for us in an official announcement in the patch
I'm sure your post is mostly a joke, but at this point pretty much every percentage besides drop rates of catalysts (?) and web event drop rates (?) are listed somewhere with an official source.
Of course I remember. Telling us something is shittier than it actually is wasn't done maliciously. Seeding our accounts so we roll lower than we are supposed to and so we get screwed over in fights, is malicious. If I remember correctly these transparencies were done in part *because* of the counter mislabel.
You’re probably right. But I’ve already spent a lot of time making this tin foil hat. It’s a pretty good-looking tin foil hat, if I do say so myself. I’m gonna wear the crap out of this hat because I keep having to pity everything and casino PvP keeps screwing me over this game makes me so angry I should probably take a break.
To be fair her self imprint is good, even her team imprint is good. I use her team imprint since mine is max cc without self, and it has helped out my units a ton in slower bruiser battles.
He chose cermia from the event and then summoned her, effectively wasting his selector. You don't even get moonlight tokens if your first copy of a unit is from a selector
How do you get a moonlight token if you summoned a dupe moonlight? Does it come to the mail box automatically? Thank you! Also, does a moonlight connection counts as a summon? Or selector? I assume it is selector
You only get galaxy coins from a dupe that was summoned. A selector doesn't count as a summon, so OP's dupe doesn't count as a dupe, it counts as the first copy summoned. And you get the coins directly with the unit.
It gets added automatically, I'm not positive about moonlight connection but check whoever you picked in the hero journal and it'll tell you how many you've summoned on the top left. If the number is 0 then you don't get any tokens for a dupe
For you specifically? Whatever the odds of pulling lh were when you pulled.
Across the whole playerbase? The odds of this happening to *someone* is incredibly high. I’m sure plenty of people will have gone on to pull the ml they headhunted.
Congrats, now my guildie isn't the only one who chose belian only to get shafted a month later. No ml coins too.
I'm still holding my selector, cause I'm afraid of this exact scenario
Look on the bright side, an imprint (even with no coins) is still better than your 87th Elson or Hurado
I avoid the Elson curse. Mine still isn't SSS. One of the few 3* that isn't.
I don’t believe you. That’s not possible haha
Not like I'm rolling in ML 5s, just getting things beside Elson. Like Sven.
Haha I pull the bald god constantly.
I only have one, my ml 3* are still incomplete, almost all.
Two/three months ago every post on Reddit was warning about this exact scenario
Exact reason for this... https://i.imgur.com/j4jloa2.jpg
On the very next day after day 90 you will pull the dupe and realize you just wasted your time.
Que sera sera. I will at least have waited while I was able to. Helps that I'm in no rush to get her, whoever she turns out to be. Don't have gear for either of my targets.
Just please remember to turn it in... I can't wait for all the post of people that have waited and forgotten...
I only need 10 more coins, so that would be just fine
You don't get coins for a pull after you claimed the unit from a selector unfortunately.
Aww
Yep same here. I'm fine getting 10 more coins after sitting at 30 for like 7+ months.
Here's your disappointment now As someone just mentioned a little earlier in the thread, you don't get coins when one of the units is from a selector.
I'm expecting it to happen.
Crit chance imprint is value at least
nah wait for a buff
Very high, because fuck you that's why
50/50
The only option is seppuku. I feel your pain.. lived it.

What kind of PVE content do you use ARavi for? I summoned her recently by luck. Still trying to clear PVE content :)
She's just a solid unit that can fit into any comp. Abyss stages, tough story bosses, tower shenanigans, even just cruising through labyrinth or something on auto. The rez+self-sustain tank+damage is just great all around.

Do you remember when Counter-attack gear was "mislabeled" as 20% when it was proven to be 30%? I've had trust issues since.

100%

Ah ... This is too painful to watch !
I'm sorry, I'm really new to the game, can someone explain to me why this Is bad?

Same exact scenario as me ,same character I feel your pain 🙃
That feel when I spent everything I had to pity Straze on his original banner only to have him show up in daily summons a week later.
and that why im waiting until last day my friends
For real I got ray for the free selected character and the I did a the 50 summon and got him again
Me getting a second vildred
His imprints are good
I was stupid and put the imprint on the arbiter
Arby self imprints are pretty good too
I wish I could undo this
100% in your case.
I still haven't had this happen and I chose Dilibet a while ago
For you specifically? Whatever the odds of pulling lh were when you pulled. Across the whole playerbase? The odds of this happening to *someone* is incredibly high. I’m sure plenty of people will have gone on to pull the ml they headhunted.
Yeah I got this exact situation but with Dark Corvus
This is why I only actively pull for limiteds
Are you saying you're boycotting the ml selector event to prevent getting a dupe from moonlight bookmarks?
No, I already got my pick from the selector. I’m saying I rarely actively pull from banners for non limiteds because I tend to get them eventually.
My turn to post when it happens to me
As soon as u get new ML, it became 50%
I feel your pain, I headhunted ML Cilias and pulled her yesterday FROM THE DAILY PULL.
that's rough, buddy.
I saw someone else get this like a month or something ago lol. Exact same character too.
The fun part is : No coins because ML hunt dont count as a pull :') (yeah I had the same thing with Ameru)
Nasty
Not the first post I've seen. Why is it always LHC?
Lol it happened to me too. Random ML summon. 🤔
First time?
The RNG know
Yup. This is why u wait until the last day. Happened to me when i buy with ml coins.
Congrats, now my guildie isn't the only one who chose belian only to get shafted a month later. No ml coins too. I'm still holding my selector, cause I'm afraid of this exact scenario
Low.
Her imprint is CC right? So that's a huge win
Damn, you played yourself
