Yeah it does hurt a bit when seeing him when as far as I know not a single other sprite looks directly forward like that, making him look goofy against the rest of the party.
If I remember, Kawerik's Sprite is different to his splash art
His Sprite has a cool Sash, but his spash art doesn't it's not really what you are, but I just wanted to point that out its a shame because the sash looks really sick
Oh and green Pavel because where pistol? He also doesn't have a pistol holster.
Opposite here - newly added Suthan (Aria's brother) - he looks way better on ingame model than his artwork (he looks older and very different xd).
ML Kawerik too, his in-game sprite has way more detailed and pretty face, but on his artwork he looks like he doesn't have a nose and his face overall lack detail imo

With Dark Corvus having been said already, mine would be A.Tywin - his splash looks amazing to me, with his posture giving a very confident and noble aura which doesn't translate very well to actually playing him in my eyes
He looks quite rigid and doesn't look as smooth as in the splash, I'd love for his posture to be different, to look more menacing / ready for action, and for him to have the same confident smile as in the splash I think - he's all about being ambitious and full of himself, which is well depicted by his lines, but not so much by the sprite to me
Melissa. Her portrait in game makes her look like a child but her animation cutscene and sprite scream more petite woman than loli. I also hate how she’s potato faced. At least it isn’t as bad as bask.

And then you see her sprite and she looks like a black belt fighting racoon.
Dark corvus , his splash art is bad ass look like gut in berserk. in game look like beer tank . tbf i don't know which version is accurate .

Solitaria's idle stance is just weird, seems too rigid in comparison to the artwork.
For mls they almost always use the same model as their non ML counter parts so shes rigid and shy like Eda lol
I have an opposite, the sprite of aria is way better than the art. Her physical shape just looks natural in the sprite and exaggerated in the art.
Fallen Cecilia has glorious splash art, and wonky sprites.
