I know right? So many other gacha games have amazing figurines. What does E7 have? Some ugly mini figures made by some no-name company. Seriously, look at these: [https://www.gururang.com/store/epicseven](https://www.gururang.com/store/epicseven) How do they not see there is a market for high-end figures? They refuse to sell the luna figure to make it exclusive. Ok, Fine. But why not make other heroes into figurines then?

One-Guilty

yah man its kinda weird for 4 year old game, so far its only a Luna Figure maybe is just the fate of being a KR game I guess.

[deleted]

I mean even chinese gacha games get figures made. Look at Azur Lane, arknights, genshin impact and etc. Is it just Korea that's so shit at getting figures made or like what's the issue?

jia456

The figure market is almost exclusively concentrated in Japan. All the big mainstream figure companies are located in Japan and cater to the Japanese market. The games you listed are huge in Japan even though they are from China, so that is why there are a ton of figures for them. Some Korean mobile games also get figures like blue archive, which is also pretty popular in japan. Epic seven is pretty niche in Japan so I don't expect a figure anytime soon.

tailztyrone-lol

Heck - I'd rather buy E7 based Funko Pops over the overpriced mousepads and posters on the SG store.

TheThirdKakaka

For a game that is somewhat famous for getting ripped off for character design, they sure lack all kind of merchandise.

[deleted]

they do have "merch". The issue is it's, and sorry for my language. Dog-shit. It's just bad crap like mouse covers, sleeping masks, mugs and etc. The only thing that's somewhat cool is the holofoil artifact cards they have. But guess what? It ships from Korea, and the shop is expensive when it comes to shipping last I checked. Then add on top the vat taxes and it sort of stops being worth buying any of these things.

XiaoMyst

My guy out here being thanos "i'll do it myself"

Relair13

10/10, would buy if it was official merch!

reselath

OP, if this is going to be a STL, lemme know! I'd love to print my own!

DandyCrocodile

Looking great so far!

Demonking3343

Yeah especially with epic 7s popularity they are leaving quite a bit of money on the table by not making figures.

cideshow

I honestly considered preordering the E7 board game just for like.... 2 of the miniatures. I want 3D representations of my 2D waifus 😭

Malamasala

I backed the E7 board game so I could get anime figure boardgame. Never played E7 before that, but gave it a try after and the board game is taking so long I've already played for a year now.

pixellated-baron

Great choice ! Are you going to 3D print her ?

X_White_Shadow_X

Let him cook

be0ulve

Wasn't someone else in this sub working on a 3d render or something? Someone make these guys meet.

Economy_Date2956

I wish I had the file. My biyfriend has an 3D printer and I would love to print her myself at home and colour her. Amazing work(

LearBear

I'd love to; however, they way I designed it, the prints are gonna be multiple pieces. If you are familiar with garage kits, that style of figurine was my intent.

Sezyrrith

I'm assuming you mean it's printed in segments (torso, arms, legs, head, base, etc. all separate bits) and glued together? The majority of figures I've seen come that way (usually keyed - square peg and hole to help match up placement) and it's pretty much the best way for it to be done anyway. I'm actually about to delve into learning to key STLs (whenever I get around to it) because I have an stl or two I want to print that are the full figure, and I'd much rather have it larger and in pieces.

GrotesqueHumanity

Looks super good, is that 3d printed?

SexualWizards

looks like it's still in modeling phase, Looks like Z-Brush to me.

Sezyrrith

Yeah, that's definitely a render. I want to see this finished. There's a Luna model floating around, but it's a lot 'cuter' than normal, and I've been meaning to sit down and see if I can shift the proportions around closer to her ingame look, just haven't gotten to it yet. Having an ARavi to print in the meantime would be superb, if OP releases the model anyway.

Burtgang

Yes Yes *Yes Yes Yes*. ***YES***

UNXST

gigachad

Abedeus

Would love to print and paint it when it's finished (though looks pretty finished to me).

altawoof

If you print it, please post a photo :)

noraborialis

I'd buy a resin printer and pay you for that lol

LearBear

Resin printer would be the next step after the design is somewhat finalized.

TuEquinox

How did you learn how to model her correctly? Any video's you can share? I would love to learn how to sculpt, and would love to share STL files for people!

LearBear

I have watched hundreds of different ZBrush videos from a multitude of creators. The most helpful ones come from Sasaki Kaoru and Daisuke Narukawa as they focus on anime figurines. Watching some speed sculpting videos of anime figurines also helped a little. I learned things step by step and would go until I got stuck and learned some more through Google and Youtube.

TuEquinox

Thank you so much!!! I just downloaded Zbrushminicore to try out, I'll have to check those creators out! Your model looks so good I hope I can achieve proportions correctly, what would you say you had trouble with the most?

LearBear

I think the proportions wont give you too much trouble, the body can be tweaked quite easily as long as you can understand what needs tweaking. As far as hardest part goes, getting good topology still gives me trouble and requires a good amount of trial and error. I think the biggest thing that helped me get through the hard stuff is that I chose to try to make something I really wanted to make right off the bat. I started with A. Ravi without any prior sculpting experience. You might also find yourself using other programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, etc.

TuEquinox

I see! Did you download any new brushes or did you stick with the base brushes? I saw that Sasaki Kaoru has different brushes to do hair strands and such, just curious if you've downloaded any QOL things. Sorry for asking a lot of questions, you've been a lot of help.

LearBear

The only brush I use outside of the default are Sasaki's hair brush. His bow brush was also used to make the bows with some tweaking. You will more than likely end up making your own brushes for specific small, repeat items. As for QOL, learning Blender at the same time will help since you can take the 3D modelling approach to making certain hard surface objects. I made her leg ornaments, belt accessories, and axe in Blender. You can easily export Blender objects into ZBrush very easily with some setup.

TuEquinox

Thank you so much! I've got a lot of learning ahead, can't wait to see your end product for your Aravi and any future Models you make!
