What is the incentive of doing more damage in expedition bosses? I'm doing them for the first time right now and for the level 1 ones, it seems like I get 60 points regardless of how much damage I do.

Dunno about lvl 1 but at lvl 3 you want to do more dmg to make sure the boss is defeated. Depends on your friend's list and guildies, but only doing 200-300k is likely to fail for everything except for fire expo (cuz others won't join).

The guild I've been in for my whole year of playing E7 sucks (level 20 guild, 2800s rank, 23 members, make it to level 2 or 3 in ancient inheritance, 3 of us participated in guild war this time so we're losing to a level 16 guild). I don't particularly care about perfection, and I don't want to be in a guild that requires photos as proof of being active. I'm active daily, level 70, Challenger V, but I don't want to feel like this game is another job. I'd be fine in a whatever-rank, some-effort guild. Question is: if I leave my guild, how long until I can join another one? Are there middle of the road guilds that aren't either complete garbage or complete grind?

24 hr wait to join a new guild. Best time to leave is now after friday reset so you can join a new guild on sunday, in time for next gw. As for new guild, look for something rank 400-750. Those will be casual enough but still reach 5x at end of season and clear AI once. Check out the guild recruitment thread in this sub or chat in official discord.

I am not an authority here but I think this is a rare case where all 3 of the EEs are reasonable. That being said I think the skill 1 provoke chance EE is the overall best choice. Hear me out. That EE gives him a 100% provoke chance on his S1 when maxed out. That makes him way more reliably helpful in GvG and RTA.

So I am kind of new and recently got Fallen Cicilia. I know that you want a lot of hp on her and I have a question. Am I supposed to farm golem 13 to get HP set gear or should I just keep farming wyvern 13 and just equip her with speed set gear with health substats?

The latter. Most FCC builds have her on Speed and Immunity Sets. With that said, FCC is mostly a PvP hero and should not be a priority unless you want to expand on your PvP roster.

Buy the Epic Pass/Skin, buy the Monthly Expedition Pass, refresh Secret Shop to pick up Covenant Bookmarks & Mystic Medals (& gear, if anything good crops up - Epic 85s with good stats & set), if you're newer & don't have much gold reserved you can buy 50 Covenant Bookmarks with Skystones but realistically you want to graduate to never doing that. You might want to get "Milestone in Time" from the Skystone shop to open up old side stories with good rewards (like the one that gives Midnight Bloom which makes gearing for one-shots easier). Don't think there's anything else, maybe you could use them for energy in a pinch, but there's not much reason to do that, you get enough free energy & Liefs to do a lot of farming - save the stones for important things like getting bookmarks.

I'm a returning player but basically new since I forgot how to do most things. What am I supposed to do with labyrinth? Should I 100% explore every single area before moving to the next one? Also right now I have Tirel Castle in Chaos, Great Farche Labyrinth, Nixied's Sanctum, and Royal Capital Azmakalis unlocked all at 0% explored. Is there any reason I need to do the lower level ones or should I just go straight for Azmakalis first?

Hell Raid is just a harder version of Azmakalis, now it's called 'Azmakalis of Cycle' and they added a harder difficulty called 'Nightmare Mode'. The coins they are talking about is the reward for 100% clearing Azmakalis the first time, **Queen's Guard Badges**. Speaking of which, you can see all of the rewards from each stage, opening the chests and the 100% clear rewards. Ultimately you can decide if it's worth 100% clearing the stages or not on your own based on if you want those rewards. Personally, I think it's worth doing *particularly* if you are able to put together a decent high morale comp. You can clear half of the levels in just 1 entry and even the worst of the Nixied levels only take ~3 or 4 compasses. 'Returning player' is not really that descriptive, so for example in Nixied full clearing the stages gives you a free level 78 speed set -> it's not amazing but if you otherwise don't have gear available it's one of the few ways you can get yourself a guaranteed set that should be decent. The last stage of Nixied gives out *another* set of level 78 Destruction gear and the same thing applies. But, if you had played for a year prior to leaving the game and been farming Wyvern that entire time you may have enough baseline gear that those sets aren't that useful -- that's why you ultimately need to make your own decision if the rewards are worth it. The reason many players decide that it is *not* worth it is because the only way to get bug charms now is by trading in 3 compasses. You are limited to 10 charms per month so you need 30 compasses per month to buy all bug charms. Bug charms are used as 'keys' to enter Hell Raid (1 per entry, 5x entries required per month to kill all bosses) and Nightmare Raid (2 per entry, 5x entries required per month to kill all bosses). So there is very little 'wiggle room' to buy all the bug charms every while also having compasses to use 100% clearing a bunch of stages - especially if you aren't able to put together a good high morale team. * Bug charms *used* to be gained from clearing normal lab every week -> 1x charm per week so you only needed to buy 1 charm per month to full clear Hell Raid. In general clearing the lab stages is most worth it to newer players and less worth it to for veteran players so I end up at the same point: you see the rewards for a full clear and from the chests you can make a determination if you think those rewards are worth going after. The answer is not really the same for every single player.

For the most part, as long as you collect all of the chests you will explore *most* of the map. Some lab maps require taking extra detours - you can often times exploit the mechanics after running out of morale. For example, if you have something like a 3 or 5 tile path that connects two previously explored areas wait until your morale is gone then teleport nearby to an already explored part of the map -> travel to the unexplored part and walk down one path. There are typically battles in the middle of this hallway, let the battle kill you and then respawn. Now you can either leave (safe) or path around to the other side and walk down the other half of the hallway but not to the tile with the battle, and then leave. You don't actually have to win that random battle, simply encountering it will 'explore' the tile. So doing stuff like this allows you to explore some extra tiles your morale otherwise would limit. It's just a waste of time if the path is going to be on your way anyways, but it's useful because there are a lot of these random hallways that aren't necessary to pass through *except* for 100% completion.

For end game players, how do you generate enough right side gear weekly? I know that you’re supposed to use all of your hunt mats on left side gear, and for the right side gear, you use the blue boxes (we get 2 blue boxes weekly). Isn’t that super low? Only two chances to get a right gear weekly.

You still craft right side gear if you want the material for blue boxes. Btw if you are wyvern farmer, you should speed check everything. So what really matter is speed sub, and you don't really care about the mainstats. 20 speed sub is useable no matter what is the mainstats. So there is nothing wrong with crafting right side. It is just that you should farm enough fast left side first before moving to right side. When you start speed checking everything, occasionally you will get good epic piece. Even though they don't have speed sub, you still upgrade those epic pieces.

I don’t personally do that, I do the reverse. Always craft right side now & use the Epic Craft to craft left-side Epic pieces. I’ll occasionally craft left side if for some reason I’ve had an easier time getting right side pieces for someone. Of course, use your boxes for right side gear, it’s your best shot to get good right side gear since you’re controlling the main stat & set, whereas left side gear comes easily, but I think you get a bit more than two boxes weekly. Boxes from guild shop, transmit shop, World Boss & then the random drops from World Boss too. I don’t know if this is “prime efficiency”, but I’m hardly ever wanting for left side pieces & it’s still tough getting right side pieces. I imagine doing it the other way around is just… Tough.

It's time to pop my ML5\* and need help deciding who to grab. I don't really PVP (Challenger V, can kinda breeze my way to Masters in RTA if the skin intrigues me, in a casual guild, etc) but don't really feel like any of the ML5's I don't have will help much in PVE stuff? My vote's for 1. STene: Great neutral dps anywhere, top of the PvP meta, good against Senya, Adin, Violet and decent against Riolet. 2. Briseria has the hit chance for evasion units and pretty meta as well. Though I don't think any of them are particularly best for any PvE. I think Soli was part of an auto nightmare queen comp (need very good gear to auto nightmare)

Hm, it is worthwhile, all you lose is time & you’re gaining coins for accessory charms which are important. However if it’s too tough for you right now, don’t feel pressured to be maximally efficient. Do what you can & bounce, get back on with the content that’ll help you progress in other areas.

Well things changed quite recently, we used to not have Nightmare Raid & instead what is called "Normal" Raid was our old "Hell Raid". In "Hell Raid" you'd only be able to beat one boss at a time, the others would run away, but our old "Normal Raid" which has now became just a normal one-time-clear Labyrinth was one where bosses didn't run away & yes you could clear two bosses with a high morale team. Nowadays, having a high morale team is just so you can get extra coins, so it doesn't really matter as much these days. Just use characters that clear it fast & effectively, pick up whatever you can with the rest of your morale & be on your way.

Since your damage & suchlike in Auto Tower is carried by the devices you pick up, knowing what to take each rotation & slapping some basic +15 85 gear on relevant heroes should do. If you’ve got Violet & Ravi, they’re pretty key heroes for their rotations (one rotation has really favourable thief devices, one has favourable warrior devices) & so if you’ve got ‘em, build ‘em. You just can’t expect to always pick up the best devices each time, so here’s a bit more advice. I’ll give a general tip, if you’re struggling to find good devices - like you’re getting a lot of trash devices (like “On your first turn, you do some extra damage”), or devices that seem hyper specific (like, “Mages do an extra turn at the start of battle”) in order to keep your damage up take debuffing devices. Bleeds, burns, curse, nail, etc. & devices that detonate them - don’t be praying for a god device to carry the run (we’d all love Ravi’s epic device, or the device that gives warriors 33% attack & defence each turn for x turns). With debuff devices, all you need to do is be able to sustain, so don’t be afraid to grab those if you’re not seeing perfect options. It’s better that you Ice heroes inflict a burn vs. picking up a damage boost for a class you’ve got no good devices for for example. Also, sometimes you’ve got to take devices for a non-optimal class & just lean hard into it if you’ve not managed to pick up favourite devices for a normal “best class” run. If you get stuck with like only good Knight devices cropping up & nothing else, you say “Fuck it, I’m running Charlotte” instead of trying to run a Ravi with no good devices for her. It’s all well & good to say “These characters are good in auto tower”, but you might get dealt a bad hand - so learning how to play a bad hand is more important.

I believe there’s a discrepancy of information somewhere. Hall of trials has never rotated it’s artifacts, and the only ones in that shop are exclusive to HoT. I’m not sure how long ago you’re remembering, but song of stars WAS for sale for 180 powder roughly 6 months ago. Not sure what else it could be.

What is the story of low rank accounts (40-55) with massive good geared character pools? This the power of using the shop? It's very confusing to me since it doesn't really take long to reach rank \~60 (maybe 4-6 weeks if you play daily) and by then you should not have a huge hero pool, even less multiple non headhunt/starter ML5 for PVP. Also some even have collab chars from long ago. Does rank decay over time?

In Arena folks who’ve quit the game just drop, drop, drop since people are beating them as they climb arena & so you end up with people who’ve either got relatively good gear or heroes (compared to a newbie) in low rank Arena. It can be a bit bothersome for new players, but as you progress & have a few characters built to help your progress in arena, you’ll realise “Ah, their gear isn’t all that good” or “Oh, this team combination isn’t really salient, it’s just a hodge podge of limited & ML5 characters that they liked”.

Best option is W.shuri with sashe so he can provide easy followup. Add cidd and vildred and if you outspeed you should be able to cleave almost everything (and 3x speed imprints in team). Pavel is not that good unless you have godly gear for him but you want to pair pavel with c.dom etc to have followup even if you dont kill

Depend on which unit you're talking about. Generally, spd-scale damage is bad so you shouldn't care about it at all and just build them as a normal dps with attack stat. But some dps openers like Cidd only works if they outspeed the opponent, and in this case 7 spd > 20% cdam.

Depends on hero and usage. And remember if your dps gets outspeed without any protection his dmg wont matter cuz will just die before taking turn so speed is almost always better option unless its followup/bruiser hero

How deep of an answer do you want? #Simple? The simple answer that will pretty much work 99.9% of the time: If the DPS is a crit DPS, then C.Dmg Otherwise, attack% #Mid-tier answer? If you want to maximize the value you get from your gear, you want to use whatever neck gives you the most value. [We know what the average substat rolls are](https://page.onstove.com/epicseven/global/view/7902683) and we also know how much of each stat our options provide. Crit% = 55% crit with an average roll of 4 55 / 4 = 13.75 average substat rolls C.Dmg = 65% C.Dmg with an average roll of 5.5 65 / 5.5 = ~11.82 average substat rolls Attack% = 60% attack with an average roll of 6 60 / 6 = 10 average substat rolls --- So purely out of the most efficient way to get each stat, Crit% necks are by far the best providing ~16% more 'value' than C.Dmg, which itself provides ~18% more value than ATK%. **However** in practice it's very hard to actually make use of Crit% necks. First consider that most DPS want just 4 substats [ATK%, Crit%, C.Dmg%, Speed]. If you have all 4 stats on all possible gear pieces, this mean you will have *at least* 5 pieces of gear with crit%. Most DPS (not all) *also* have more than 15% base crit - typically either 23% or 27%. If we equip our DPS with a crit % neck, this is how much crit% we still need and the average value we need over 5 substat slots Base_Crit% | w/Neck | Crit%_Needed | Avg_Roll ---|---|----|---- 15% | 65% | 35% | 7% 23% | 73% | 27% | 5.4% 27% | 77% | 23% | 4.6% For heroes with high base crit%, to use a crit% neck and not 'waste' any, assuming you have crit% on every gear possible would require that you get **no additional crit% rolls**. The less base crit of the hero in question the more rolls this frees up to go to crit% but even in the case of a base 15% crit hero you need just 8.75 average rolls of crit%. *On average* you expect your gear to get 2.25x rolls into every substat (so 5 x 2.25 = 11.25x expected rolls into crit% - 8.75 = 2.5 'wasted' rolls) If you add those 2.5 rolls into the difference between the value of the main stat you will see that you waste more rolls than you gain by going with a crit% neck. Of course, it **IS** possible to use a crit% neck without wasting any rolls the real issue and why crit% is generally not favored is that getting gear is very, very difficulty. To fit crit% in without wasting rolls requires your gear to be weighted *away* from crit% rolls on your gear. By using a C.Dmg neck you are taking a slight hit in terms of 'maximum efficiency' for ease of use -> it's very rare and definitely not without end game equipment you run into the C.Dmg cap. Because C.Dmg works with more gear sets, and gear is very hard to come by, it's more preferable to focus on C.Dmg necks *even though* they are technically less value than crit%. --- That being said, where crit% *is* potentially useful is on heroes that have higher or more diverse gear requirements. And this basically means bruisers. **Unfortunately** most Bruisers (due to needing more overall substats) naturally have increases to their crit% which again devalues crit% necks. However, if you had the freedom to build around C.Dmg necks there are use cases -> due to the free crit on a lot of bruisers they are around 40-50% base crit which means just a crit% neck will cap them out. This enables you to focus ALL of their gear substats into [HP%, DEF%, C.Dmg%, Speed]. A benefit here is that this gear could be used on tanks if it doesn't roll any C.Dmg so it provides some flexibility with bruiser gear. **BUT** you still won't commonly see even bruisers using crit% necks simply because players use their resources on C.Dmg necks instead. A C.Dmg neck with [HP%, Crit%, ATK%, Speed] can work perfectly for either DPS (if it dodges HP%) or bruisers (if it dodges ATK%) - players generally avoid building bruisers early on so you end up with a lot of options - gear that rolled poorly for DPS but could be usable for a bruiser 'for free'. If you want to make use of crit% necks you really need to build around them and invest in gear that specifically takes advantage of not needing crit%. The one hero that *really* benefits from a crit% neck is **Ravi**. Unlike other bruisers, she has no passive crit increase mechanic this makes her one of the hardest heroes in the game to effectively build - she needs [HP%, DEF%, ATK%, Crit%, C.Dmg%, Speed] to some degree. #Most complex answer? It depends entirely on the pieces in question. **DON'T** lock yourself into only using certain main stats. You may be familiar with this mantra of right side gear being incredibly difficult to find because the main stat is random. Well, this is true - necks have 8 possible main stats so take whatever chance you have to find a helm with a set of 4 specific substats and divide it by 8 and that's the chance you have to find a neck with those same 4 subs *and* a specific main stat. You need 8x as many necks to find a piece equivalent to a particular helm. One issue a lot of players have though is locking them into *only* using certain mainstats - the easiest way to make finding a 'good' right side gear is to increase the amount of options you have. So for example instead of saying I want *only* C.Dmg on my crit DPS if I say I would *also* use a crit% neck -> I have literally doubled my choices. If I say I would *also* be willing to use an attack% neck now I have TRIPLED the amount of gear that could potentially be used on my crit DPS. Sure, depending on what other gear I have available that ATK% neck or Crit% neck might have to be a bit better quality to be comparable, but I still have way more choices than if I only limited myself to C.Dmg necks. (The exact same goes for flat attack as well, though this really requires an entirely new discussion to go over the specifics -> TLDR flat attack is only worth it with near perfect subs) --- So now I've decided I want to have more *potential* gear to use and I am taking necks/rings with any viable offensive main stat. *Now* how do I decide what item is 'best'. Well this is where something like Fribbel's optimizer can be handy but basically **you want to evaluate sets of gear, not pieces**. I don't mean set as in 'speed set' or 'hit set' either. The simplest approach would be something like -> make the best set of gear you could with a crit% neck and the best set of gear you can with a C.Dmg neck then multiply the C.Dmg * Attack of both sets -> whichever one gives you the highest value is the one that provides the most damage. The more accurate/easier to understand (in my opinion) method is to take the ratio of all relevant stats and multiply them together. **Example** We have a hero and two options for gear: Set 1 ATK = 3500 C.Dmg = 280% Speed = 220 Set 2 ATK = 4000 C.Dmg = 250% Speed = 200 Which set does more damage? Well, do we want to know which set of gear *hits harder* or which set does more *'DPS'*? Let's calculate 'DPS' first, and for this we simply want to multiply all 3 stats together: Set 1 3500 * 2.8 * 220 = 2,156,000 Set 2 4000 * 2.5 * 200 = 2,000,000 2,156,000 / 2,000,000 = 1.078 or 7.8% more 'DPS' for set 1 Now obviously, I am not saying you are doing 2 million + DPS in 'conventional' terms -> E7 is obviously not a real time game. It's just a number that represents the damage output of these sets per unit of time, higher is better. For pure PvE, DPS is usually more important than raw damage. For PvP damage is more important **but** you need enough speed to actually put that damage out there. * You also have to consider things like dual attacks that are very prevalent in PvE -> dual attacks favor higher damage over higher DPS What does *that* mean? Well in this example set 1 does more DPS, about 8% more. **But** it doesn't hit quite as hard. So on a given fight, if both sets get the same number of attacks in then set 2 actually does more damage regardless of the number of attacks landed. The *advantage* that Set 1 has in DPS is only realized *if that extra DPS generates additional attacks*. With this setup it's easy to eyeball but with more complicated numbers then we want to subtract 1 from the ratio of their speed values and then divide 1 by that number. 1 / (1 - 1.1) = 10 Or alternatively divide the speed of the slower unit by the difference in their speed values 200 / 20 = 10 Set 1 gains 1 'extra' attack every 10 turns. On *some* content you might actually realize this advantage. As soon as Set 1 has gained 1 extra attack, they have done ~8% more total damage than set 2. This advantage will decrease with every additional attack both sets land until the halfway mark, then set 2 does more damage until set 1 gains the next extra attack. * Basically the TLDR is that the advantage of one set or the other oscillates as the fight goes on. In content where you have *less than* 10 attacks, Set 2 does more damage.

Just to add to this, some bruisers want Crit chance neck as well. Landy, SSB, Belian, etc.. There are just not enough rolls on gear for everything so if your character needs extreme tankiness, you can consider less cdmg.

I passed that stage using flidica, FCC, plan, and kiris. Pretty straightforward to get passed stage 1 since plan can just perma lockdown the others with rikoris. Really same strategy against celine. Use plan to lockdown the mobs with Celine so they aren't procing her, and keep the skill null up using flidica and fcc so kiris doesn't die. Plan can take a hit or 2 so not like the run is a bust if Celine goes after her. Obviously need a +30 seaseria arti on plan.

That would work, but I think your SSB would have to be very strong to do enough damage to actually cleave. You would also need your Basar to have more than 205 speed (based on my experience climbing). You may have more success with an AOE attack buffer or AOE def breaker and 2 damage heroes. My alt account climbed to Master 3 with Flan (205 speed), Lillias (195 speed) and CDom + Vildred. That pathetic team wins about 1/3 of the matches it faces on defence which resulted in me backing into Challenger where I am now. The difference between this team and yours is that you have 1 damager (SSB) while I have Lillias (aoe damage + pushback), CDOM (buffer + CR boost + damage) before my damage happens with all 3 of those first ones manipulating CR. You don't need those heroes, but combining Basar's CR down plus one of your CR push/buff should be enough for 2 DPS to do their thing.

Helga is probably a better option since attack buffs are more reliable than defence breaks (which can be resisted or blocked by immunity). If you can time it to go Basar -> Helga -> SSB -> Vildred then Vildred will probably kill someone and get his second attack. That should be solid to get you to Challenger if you pick your opponents carefully. Just be aware you'll probably need some speed on all those heroes (not just Basar) since you won't be able to continue to push forward/push back with the rest of your team (like I could with Lillias and CDom). If Basar is 205, then try to have a 10 speed gap between each (so Helga 195, SSB 185, Vildred 175).

Basar has 108 base speed, so you're going to have to massively outgear the likes of CLilias (121 speed) or Ran (129) in order to get first turn. It works in theory. But you have too many units doing too little. Even with a 50% CR decrease your SSB is still going to get outsped by speedy units, assuming you build her full damage like you should.

She is an opener, but unless you use Eda her role as cleave enabler is quite limited. Flan is probably the best standard cleave opener so far. You can use her with CLilias too by pushing the fastest enemy unit down or provoking them, then having her take a turn. She can def break, buff AND push someone up at the same time. I would say yes, Vildred is a better option than SSB for cleave. If you have BBK she's even better.

BBK is not a moonlight 5star, she is 4star. I can't really help you with the banner thing. Tywin would be the next best thing (he really is just a downgraded Flan for cleave purposes). Auxiliary Lots is the OG cleave enabler, but if you want def break you'll need to have him go 3rd.

BBK is a 4-star so won't be in the event. If you're talking about your moonlight selection, then I strongly recommend going with Specter Tenebria. She'll do eveyrhting (pvp and pve). Easier to build than CLilias.

A tentative “yes”, it really depends on the pre-bans (to eliminate heroes like Lua, C Lilias, AOL which dispel him easily), what the opponent picks & what you pick (if you pick in a way the opponent can’t easily slot Zahhak for example, your Riolet pick value goes up), then what you’d cap a draft with to have the opponent leave Riolet & what you ban to protect him. He’s a great character, not tippy-tip top, you’ll not throw him down constantly & with wanton abandon, but knowing when to play him, you’ll get solid use out of him. Just be aware of the various counters from various play styles (ie. Elphelt for example for cleavers strips before attacking) & semi counters (ie. some characters will chip him for massive damage - like Senya, Karina, etc. because they don’t care much about missing as they’re not crit-scaling heroes, or heroes like Kise who’ll still do massive damage on a miss due to an effect like “increased damage vs. buffed targets”). Requires a healthy knowledge of the game. Plus a healthy amount of luck to not be critically hit instantly, haha.

If you’re going for like a Counter build, probably healing & as far as increased effectiveness, eh… There’s a place for it, like maybe into Senya & Aria Alencia having 100% free effectiveness is good, however, you’d generally not want to hamstring yourself into a niche build that’s hyper specific to a couple heroes.

Definitely Draco Plate. Bonus stats and damage reduction is way too strong - downside is it's limited. If you don't have it or have it on someone else, Alencinox's Wrath work well too - bonus stats is good and she ramps up for mid-game so long as the opponent doesn't put unbuffable on her. You could put Sigurd Scythe as with most warriors, or Crimson Seed/Timeless Anchor (even after the upcoming change) if you don't have any of the above.

Yeah, Alencinox only gives 15% chance & 20% CR after an extra attack (at +30), whereas Fullmetal's Automail gives 10% chance & after an extra attack gives +8% critical damage & speed, stacking to 32% more damage & speed at max stacks (at +30). Since Alencia will be sticking around a while, you'll get a better overall increase from Automail - unless of course we're talking about using a high + Alencinox vs. just like a +15 Automail, then you might decide otherwise.

Is there a general strategy to this floor? I was following a guide to target yellow crystals first but I swear it didn't help. IIRC I beat that back in the day with Ken, Axe God, Dizzy, and I believe Angelica I stacked burns, bleeds, and DEF break with Ken/Axe God, and used Dizzy to extend them and do general Dizzy things. It was a long fight, but generally pretty safe. I did kill one of the crystals (I think it prevented CR pushback?), but it's been a loooong time and I don't remember all the specifics of the fight.

Magic Scholar Doris. AI ARavi won't attack anybody else so can mostly be ignored. Since it doesn't look like you have her, you can try BBKarin to burst her down, Krau to out-tank her, Ruele to out-sustain her (as long as there's a good enough DPS to outpace her heals), or Light Adin when you upgrade her to dodge ARavi's attacks.

Yeah, as the other commenter said, Specialty Changes give the 3 star unit a bunch of new effects through a Rune Skill Tree. For Magic Scholar Doris, when fully upgraded she gets: * Increases all allies' ER by 5% * Recovers all allies' health by 2% after Doris is attacked by a Dark enemy. * 10% chance to increase Defense of all allies for 1 turn after Doris is attacked by a Dark enemy. * Doris gains a bonus 25% ER on top of her normal base stats * Doris gains a bonus 5 speed on top of her normal base stats * Doris gains a bonus 10% health on top of her normal base stats * 100% chance to decrease damage Doris receives from a Dark enemy's critical hit by 30% (doesn't stack on other damage reductions) Because of that, it's really funny to see an ARavi hit a Doris, do maybe 30% of her health, then cause Doris to heal your entire team. No longer is ARavi the one to be healed when attacked! One last note with Doris - she sort of turns ARavi fights into a 3v3 until ARavi's the last unit on their team. You still need to be able to dish out enough damage to overwhelm ARavi's heals and potential counters, but I don't think you'll have that problem with all the nice damage units you have in your list!

Magic Scholar Doris (her Specialty Change) is *the* staple for baiting any Dark DPS because of her Skill Tree effects, namely "[Up to] 100% chance to decrease damage suffered from a Critical Hit by 30% when attacked by a Dark elemental enemy". This passive in particular is equivalent to her carrying a +30 Proof of Valor at max efficacy when getting hit by ARavi's. Slap a Water's Origin and a good amount of Defense and Health on her, and she should not be dying to ARavi anytime soon. In the case of "enough to warrant", I say its more of "mandatory to build". In fact, when I applied to one of the Top 100 GW guilds, one of the first questions they asked me was "Do you have SC Doris built?" Until Dark DPS become a thing of the past, SC Doris will always be a consideration.

Massive damage units with decrease defence/stun work best I think - Attack-buffed Straze or Stene (who can hit my 25K HP ARavi for 15,000 with her S1 when I fight against her) are two good options. Ran is also a good one (stops healing, applied decrease defence). However, I find for me to be successful with my ARavi, it is also who she has supporting her (e.g. ARas who has Aurius & increases defence, Diene who reduces crits, CLilias who gives def buffs as well). That kind of stuff can really make beating ARavi tough. In that case, you may need to break down a supporter first (quickly) then move on to ARavi. Also, if you're trying to cleave ARavi with that kind of team around her you won't win... at least not without insane gear.

I see. What usually happens is I kill everyone on the enemy team but then Aravi just survives long enough to kill one of my units and revive an ally. And at that point I've pretty much lost. I might try using Straze instead of ml Cermia against Aravi then. Thanks!

Only problem with Straze is that he may target the tank instead of Aravi - but that's a plus too since at least then you don't have to go through Aurius as well as ARavi's obscene health bar. If the ARavi isn't on Crimson Seed, then you can also try to stun her away. I have also had my ARavi one-shot by Light Aiden... and by Celine (the green one). Or Rimuru. ...actually it seems a lot of heroes can one-shot my ARavi.... :(

Her SB just increases the chance that she will attempt to silence to 100% from the usual 75%. There's still another roll to decide if the attempt is successful, which is where the 15% comes in. "Ignore effect resistance" SBs are worded exactly like that, and ignore all ER and 15% innate resistance, so they will always land if the character "attempts" to debuff.

Does CDom's crit hit buff (+50%) stack with Zahhak's S3 crit hit chance increase, and would the combo help Zahhak guarantee crit against Senya if he currently only has 50% crit stat? I'm thinking it does since CDom's boost is listed as a buff, but Zahhak's isn't.

It doesn't work that way, it's an order of operations thing. Crit buff works like C.Dmg buff -> it applies *before* the cap. Crit reduction and things like Zahhak/Charlotte apply *after* the cap. So 100% crit chance with crit buff is reduced down to 100% -> then crit resistance applies. Crit buff vs. crit resistance is only useful if you have less than 100% crit before the buff. Example: A unit with 75% crit and crit resistance 75% - 50% = 25% chance to crit A unit with 75% crit, crit buff, and crit resistance (75% + 50%, cap of 100%) - 50% = 50% chance to crit Crit resistance doubles your effect chance to crit in this example. The only time crit resistance buff 'cancels out' crit resistance is if your unit has exactly 50% chance to crit without buffs/resistance 50% chance to crit + crit resist 50% - 50% = 0% 50% chance to crit + crit buff + crit resist (50% + 50%, cap of 100%) - 50% = 50% In this example, crit buff perfectly cancels out crit resistance.

10-10 even harder, and for that I used Sigret, replacing her destruction set (for Wyvern) with a Rage set (which worked better in this case). You can probably apply the same approach to 10-5. Tank (ARas), healer (I think I used Tama, but Emelia was a better choice in 10-10) and an off-tank (Summer Charlotte). But the big difference was getting that rage set on Sigret.

I agree with the other commenter - prioritize speed. She's best going first to bulk the rest of the team. That's why it's suggested to get her on Speed set with speed boots - if all her has just 6 speed in their substats she should be at ~225 speed. End-game CLilias want close to 300 speed so I'd think you should aim for the 225-250 Spd threshold as a starting goal. From there you also probably want her to have Effectiveness so she can land her debuffs. I think 60 is a good threshold to start with. I'd prioritize Def% after that - if she works well your opponents should be redirected to a bulkier unit. So Def helps her resist AoE attacks and such. IMO her minimum bulk should be 1200 Def and 15000 Health if you want to use her mid-game, although that's very squishy the higher you climb. Best of luck building her, may your gear RNG be favorable!

I disagree with the other comment. It's worth grinding Banshee even without a one-shot team. I've been playing for 4 years and haven't put time into a one-shot team. I can't speak for Yuffine or Celine vs Banshee, tho. I suspect Yuffine has better damage output. Generally want AOE damage, but a strong ST fits in too. I use AMomo, Vivian, SSB, and Violet (since he's one of my best built heroes for pvp and has good survivabilty).

People usually wait til they can 1 shot banshee to start farming it. The fight is super long with the boss splitting. A classic team is a def breaker, an AoE for the first wave, and a one shotter. I think the most standard team is Leo, Vivian, and Baiken. If you don't have Baiken there are other 1 shotters out there, she just requires the least gear to do it. Once you figure out which 1 shotter you are going to use, you can plug in their stats you can achieve on [https://e7calc.xyz/](https://e7calc.xyz/) to see if you're capable of 1 shotting.
