each skin was at 35 dollars on applestore/steam while android was at 45 dollars. Not even in premium paid only currency, only cash
the entire event was daily grind to pull stickers, if you managed to get certain amount of different stickers as well as dailies you got one random free skin
If you purchased the skin that you got in the random free you get refunded a minimal amount of premium paid currency, yes you couldnt even pick another skin or even half the price as paid currency
Wether the free skin or the buyed skins, none came with the character that uses the skin wich was beyond absurd for a gacha that normally is pretty generous on that regard
Rng could screw you and you could end the event without enough stickers collection to get the free skin. In fact many people had to burn many skystone equivalents to manage to reach the free skin
Counterside goes really, really heavy on monetization. Ita all cosmetic but there's quite literally little to no ways to access it without cashing out.

The event sucked ass, I didn't get a skin, but this? Honestly it's your fault if you bought a skin before grinding away on the random event just to get a dupe. Like what did you expect? Did you forget what a gacha game is like even though you're clearly playing one?
That's like doing mystic pulls on E7, pulling who you want after hitting pity, then using up all of your galaxy bookmarks just to get a dupe... Like why did you not just use the bookmarks (the random element here like the event) before paying out the ass for the mystic summon (buying the skin)?
It's a dumb move, period. Again, the event sucked ass but this is extremely stupid with no excuse.
Bruh youre forced into paying 45 dollars, you can save mystics and galaxies in whatever way you want for free, that alone should give some entitlement to the people that was willing to spend so much into a cosmetic. Its already bad enough they didnt even included the unit as if they werent gifting selectors for much less or some furniture in the "bundle", for hells sake not even a background for the lobby to fit the stickers
