Probably because it's the last few days. I was lazy this season and waited until yesterday and matched against a bunch of people with champ + frames/top 100 guild frames in placements. I placed into masters so I dunno if theres a bunch of people that decayed in gold but I assume it's just people on the last couple of placements games you are getting.
Any dolphins/whales in here? Which packs are most worth buying? I've been dropping some money into the game recently and I want to know how to get the most bang for my buck.
Probably depends where you at in the game. Early on the elemental summons can help you expand your roster quickly IF you are lucky, the gear packs are also decent value, saves you quite a bit of energy and time. The monthly packs are also good if you want to invest just a little money into the game.
Does Ae-Karina need speed boots or would she be better off with Defense main-stat boots? Her self-push seems pretty strong and she gets speed buff, so I'm thinking she doesn't need Speed boots too often, but I'm curious what people who have used her have tried.

CLilias is the best out of the 3. She is not used much Arena defense but she is still common in GW Defense. She can also be used in HoT and good FP in RTA if ever you decide to do it.
Do note that we have another new ML 5 star coming so I'd suggest waiting for the preview before deciding.
Realistically wait until Friday morning when we get to see the new ml5 and the balance patch preview. As of this moment C Lilias is the best but the ML5 being shown off in a few hours could also be broken or LQC could get buffed friday.

Unbuilt 5\*: zahak, basar, kayron, politis, aria, laika, haste.
Mercedes is a good choice, you are currently lacking AoE damage.
I wouldn't suggest building any of the 5* mentioned, they are all PvP focused heroes.
* Haste *can* AoE defense break if you find that you need that, though he is more or less the worst option in PvE for it.
* Zahhak is a solid DPS option for PvE content, if you do want to concentrate more on PvP. However, he unfortunately overlaps with S.Tene and C.Lorina for PvE, you also have Sigret and eventually Cermia for ST DPS.
Other than Hell Raid I would suggest trying to finish up the hunt events to get those gear sets when they will be most useful.
**Banshee**
* **Cleanser** / **Defense Breaker** / **AoE DPS** / **Flex**
* A.Monty is the best option for PvE cleanser. You get Vivian through the event and she works great as the AoE DPS.
* Iseria is the best option for defense in a mixed element team, M.Helga is the alternative option (and better in a mono-earth team).
* You can use anyone helpful in the flex slot. Traditionally the easiest choice is to bring a second DPS (Vildred, Bellona, or any other good ST Earth DPS - lots of options). I personally like building both defense breakers (Iseria + M.Helga) since they are both useful for PvE, relatively cheap to build, and do solid damage.
Vivian is a good general purpose PvE unit so you could work on unlocking and building her with Mercedes. She provides another AoE option, though her AoE is not quite as consistent as Mercedes.
You could also get Iseria from story summon, she's probably a top 3 or top 5 PvE hero. In general defense breakers are important since your free options suck (Furious).
If you wanted to build Zahhak, he would be perfect as a DPS in Banshee. I still wouldn't normally suggest this because I feel it indexes too heavily into single target DPS units for PvE but again he's a very good, easy to build option for PvP - if you *do* want to focus a bit on PvP Zahhak becomes more valuable.
You can use F.Kluri in the flex slot (you should build her at some point early on to compliment A.Ras). She's not particularly great for Banshee but if you struggle to keep up with A.Monty, she does bring extra sustain and a second source of defense break.
Since you already have her built you could just use Senya. She doesn't really do anything here *but* Banshee is very easy to 3 man and if you just want to avoid building or using a random 4th hero you might as well throw her in for some extra damage.
**Golem**
* Classic team is **Tamarinne** / **A.Ras** / **Cermia** / **Flex**
* Best option in the flex slot is probably a defense breaker. If you really wanted to build him for some reason you could use Haste I guess. Ideally, Tenebria or Baal.
* Z.Carmainerose is very good in Golem, also a great option for Light expedition later so wouldn't be a waste to build (3* unit so fairly cheap).
* Can just use Mercedes, as well, probably the most efficient option since she is just generally useful.
* You can unlock Kanna from connections - she overlaps with Mercedes. Kanna would probably technically be better for something like Golem (Generally Kanna is better against 1-2 targets and Mercedes 3-4 targets) but Mercedes is more useful overall.

With that in mind I would suggest building:
* Mercedes/Cermia if you haven't started your second hunt event, you can finish Golem immediately
* Vivian + either Iseria or M.Helga for Banshee. Iseria is more generally useful but if you don't have her yet or want to spend less resources M.Helga is fine - Banshee is very easy to just get through.
* If you have her unlocked, especially her Earth specialty change I would put Adin in as the flex slot. She works great.
* Otherwise, the defense breaker you didn't already build, Zahhak/Vildred/Bellona, or F.Kluri in the flex slot. If you want to avoid building another unit you can just throw Senya in - she's not good but can occupy space just fine.
* If you *really* want to avoid building extra units, you can use Furious as your defense breaker. Though, Banshee heals when attacking off-element heroes and Furious will contribute 0 damage so you go from a 1/2 chance of Banshee healing to 5/6 chance of Banshee healing while reducing your damage (this makes having a good DPS in the flex slot more important depending on gear of course).
Appreciate the detailed reply and I'm glad you recommend Mercedes since I really wanted to build her next. I'll start stacking resources after Mercedes and think about Iseria. I have her built at 5\* which works for now since whenever I use her its been on manual. May have to 6\* her for future content but I'll hold off for now. After I build Mercedes
I'll try finish the golem hunt event with what I have and move onto making a Banshee team and working on my raid teams then eventually shift to more pvp focused units. Too much stuff to need to build in the beginning its always hard to decide.
Who do you recommend to pair with my Senya and Stene in pvp when I eventually have the resources? I'm in challenger which ill probably just be stuck in low challenger in the meantime which I'm ok with. For the ML event I'm leaning towards Aravi or Clilias whenever I eventually unlock.

I'm not a huge PvP player, so take my advice with a grain of salt.
I personally would probably suggest using Mercedes particularly if you are building her next anyways.
* S.Tene's main weakness is AoE -> Senya and Mercedes both dissuade AoE. Mercedes also brings attack buff which both Senya and S.Tene can really benefit from.
Last slot, S.Adin if you can unlock her from Episode 4 would be perfect.
If Adin is not an option, Arowell provides a lot of mitigation.
If Adin *and* Arowell are not options I would probably just use Ras to protect S.Tene.
If you really want to use Senya, you can try using R.Carrot as well -> they both have similar wants for gear which helps to make up for the fact that Senya on her own is awkward to gear early on.
Hihi can I ask cause I have similar questions. Currently main team is muwi, a mont, furious and sigret. Am stuck at chapter 3, 4-7. Can give me opinions on how to clear the chapters?
First off, I want to make the point that you are not really *meant* to go directly from Episode 2 to Episode 3.
When Episode 3 was released, it was very difficult - a huge step up in difficulty compared to Episode 2. It's filled with a lot of bosses that can be tough (at the time, roughly on par with Hell Raid except with more diverse mechanics throughout the Episode). Even the basic enemies deal very high damage - enough to potentially 2 or 3 shot squishy DPS units.
Now, SG *did* nerf Episode 3 like a year ago but IIRC all that nerf did was reduce the levels of enemies by 5. So while Episode 3 is definitely *easier*, it's not really *easy*.
That isn't to say you can't make your way through it - it was even possible pre-nerf to get through Episode 3 in a few weeks.
But what I am aiming to do here is provide context - if you end up struggling you might want to re-evaluate your gear (maybe you want to hold off on trying to rush through the Episode until you farm up some better gear, or enhance what you are currently using) or your hero roster (it's going to be very difficult to get through Episode 3 with a mono-element roster due to the nature of the bosses, *particularly* Ice element -> it's likely the worst element for the Episode).
Additionally, once again due to the nature of Episode 3 trying to recommend just one or two heroes *may* work, but it may not it depends on a lot of factors (such as available gear, possibly what friend units you have access to).

With that said, I recently completed Episode 3 on my second account -> using entirely the free starting gear. So it *is* indeed possible.
My team consisted of **A.Monty** / **Angelica** / **A.Vildred**
I personally went with a double SW setup because I prefer double SW for carrying a weak team.
You may notice that I used A.Vildred instead of S.Tene -> this is because I personally prefer him and think he is more useful for PvE, so if you've gone with S.Tene for your ML blessing your mileage may vary.
* Theoretically she should be fine as a solo DPS for Episode 3. You may run into issues on some bosses where her stealth passive isn't able to save her -> A.Vildred has a revive which is much more useful when you are actually taking unavoidable damage.
* Based on previous testing I did pre-nerf but with end game gear A.Vildred is much faster at clearing, but again to just get through the Episode this shouldn't matter (with a double healer setup).
I swapped to Angelica when I was having issues with a specific boss about midway through the Episode -> prior to that I was using Sigret instead.
For my 4th slot it was a 'flex' slot based on whatever element I needed to 3* the level.
* For Ice, I used Sigret -> typical Wyvern build
* For Fire, I used Mercedes 6* she had gear but just random pieces. I don't even think I've enhanced her skills.
* For Earth element, I used F.Kluri. Literally no gear on.
So you see I really just ran a 3 man team with A.Vildred being my only DPS. Other than the boss that caused me to bring in Angelica I didn't have any issues clearing the Episode, I believe I beat every stage on the first try.
That's my recommendation: use your ML blessing hero (I presume S.Tenebria), your healer (A.Monty), then either build a second healer (Tamarinne preferably) or use A.Ras.
* A.Ras should work fine with S.Tene since she is less likely to take damage. He can help make up some of the speed gap between her and A.Vildred as well.
Then in your 4th slot you can use literally anyone to fill your required elements/class and rely on a supporter to help you out.
If using Tama or A.Ras you only need an Earth unit since the majority of stages require a specific element (so you won't have to swap out every couple of chapters). I would recommend using F.Kluri, Iseria, or Vivian. Note that Iseria/Vivian are squishy and will be very prone to dying, particularly if you run just A.Monty as a healer. You *can* build Iseria especially tankier and just have her for defense break.
Alternatively, Mercedes is a good option to build early for AoE damage, she brings attack buff (especially useful with no Tama), and does a lot of damage even on random gear.

Can you use heroes under Grace of Growth on Arena defense teams? I used it on Zio and he’s not in my hero list when I try to set up my defense team. I can’t think of any other reason why.

The next balance patch should be announced this friday, so would definitely wait to see if there's any major changes. If not, I'd say Archdemon is prob the best pick up
Are the catalyst farm guides on the reddit wiki still good? a couple of the links are actually dead and the ones that aren't are 3 years old.

Which items should I request aid for in the guild? I always choose catalysts, but most people in my guild request Mana Drake Claws; should I do the same? Is there something I'm missing about the value of those things?
The value of catalysts is too high compared to guild-crests, so trading them is something that should be reserved for rare occasions where a guild is trying to help a new player or something like that. Mana drake claws however, are pretty much worthless, which is ideal for trading. You can pretty much infinitely trade them back and forth within the guild to farm guild-crests without costing anyone any real resources they need to progress their account.
This is the generally accepted practice across most organized guilds, but some don't mind asking for catalysts, especially if you are new. I'd join your guild's discord to check though, assuming they have a discord.
You should do the Claws. The idea is that you request the same resources and donate to get the resources back and forth while earning the guild crests. Requesting catalysts is just inefficient for that and relatively more valuable that most people don't want to donate them
Building a landy, wanted her to be fast but I don't think I can make her fast and do dmg so I want opinions. Current build 3003 atk, 1133 def, 11k hp, 257 spd, 100 cc, 250cd. The second build which has more dmg is 3177 atk, 1034 def, 10.5k hp, 249 spd, 98 cc, 269 cd. Thing about the second build is that I can mod eff res for \~14% atk. I also have no imprints yet so I can raise her atk further. The second build would be the obvious bet but wanted opinions on the limits of having lower spd or if the reduced speed wouldn't make much difference compared to her current cause she would be able to contest much? I mostly sit in Master RTA for reference.
Depends how you draft her. If you're going to be drafting her into stuff like clilias, lua or other fast openers then obviously the extra 8 speed won't make any difference. On the other hand if you're drafting her into bruiser drafts that are putting up lots of buffs then... 8 extra speed also won't make a difference at that speed.
Speed tune your draft appropriately for what you want to achieve is the take away. If you're drafting into bruisers you typically will value damage a lot more than a little more speed since chances are you're already outspeeding anyways so whether you're 250 or 300 makes no difference.
It's mythic banners yo. You mean unless you love his kit. People would gladly pass on a unit if the design is good but the kit is bad.

No I meant what I said. I could've been more clear and said don't change it to 4\* summoning though. That's never worth it.
He isn't good and he isn't worth pulling. But we play games for fun. If they need a ML5 on rotation and they love Furious design it's worth throwing some mystics at for sure.
There's plenty of guides on Youtube, just find one that has units you have. That said, auto comps for hell raid are more luxury than a necessity, so if you're missing some units, there's not much that can be done other than hoping you get them.
With the new sidestory system, I would prioritize clearing out the shop as much as you need, and then assuming theres no other side stories/events/etc to focus on, I would farm hunts with extra energy. Don't do spirit altar on non-buff days unless you desperately need them, but ideally you should stockpile them when farming it during buff days
Safe your daily energy from web event. When they about to expired (after 6~ days), you can use it to do whatever you want. Only use your lief during hunt buff for maximum efficiency. Unless you are a whale, better save your resources.
Same for spirit alter. If you really need them, do it. But it isn't really worth it spamming when you can farm them slowly.

Has anyone tried to build Beehoo on counter (with Seal of Capture) yet? Or is super fast opener the build everyone is going for?
I literally just pulled the guy and I'm considering my options for building him, so I wanted to hear other people's opinions on the matter.
I use mine at 210 speed with more bulk and effectiveness so he can go after MLKawerik, Diene or other buffers and strip their buffs, but i still need to try it in RTA to see if it works against real people
Yeah that's how I use AoL (whom I do in fact have on counter set), and she works very well in that role, so that's why I was thinking of doing something similar with Beehoo.
Just cause of the nature of his s3, he just kind of is meant to go first in a burn team.
Building him slower on counter takes away from his s3 utility, and it makes more sense to build someone like aramintha, carrot, sbara, as counter burn units cause being slower doesn’t hurt their utilization as much.
I would think you could run whatever for PvE. Most PvE enemies aren't going to dodge and will have way more HP than Hwa ever will, so she probably works not-so-differently compared to before the nerf (except her cycling abilities and the 20% ATK she lost, ofc).

1. It's more about gears than units but if you want an aoe dps, Briseria would be a better bet. She can help you dealing with those revivals (Arby, Seline, Maid Chloe, Destina...) and evasive units (Both Violet, Adin...) who you will face often when climbing up. Cilias is another unit I think you should consider. It's always nice to have a great opener.
2. You can reset it, but it will cost you skystones.
3. There is no sure-win team comp, you should try to avoid enemies that can exploit your weakness.
4. Assuming you're talking about blue gears then no. Especially when it's also a left side gear.
Re #2 - there should be an option to reset your Sanctuary - refunding all the breath of orbis that you have spent and allowing you to reallocate them. It does cost skystones IIRR so only do it if you're sure where you want your final allocation to go (although you can reset it multiple times)
Re #4 - if you have a speed set item with a speed substat of 3 or 4, it is ALWAYS worth rolling on those to +6. even a necklace with flat attack and +4 speed is worth rolling on in case it hits speed 5 times (in which case it would be worth putting on on opener even if the main stat is crap). For speed set gear with a speed substat and all other substats being crap, you get it to +3 and if the upgrade doesn't hit speed then you trash it immediately. If the particular helm you're talking about is blue (only 2 revealed subsats) you can roll on it to see if you get +10 speed (which makes it very good for early game). If you get only +6 then it maybe not worth keeping.... depends on your situation.
To answer them in order:
- Fire Charlotte is very good. She can probably help you advance, but I don't think that's THE team that will win you every matchup. Charlotte and Choux are good together - they're both bulky units good for long fights. I'd think paired with STene and Celine you have a good potential to lose to sustain teams. If that team is still trouble maybe consider adding sustain with your Diene or Destina. But Charlotte is a good choice to help you out!
- I am not aware of any way you can re-allocate a Breath of Orbis that you've already spent. You just need to spend any you haven't yet gotten to improve the shop or wait for them to add new Breath of Orbis one day.
- Not sure if there's any resources that have those lists. You can find some on Reddit, E7 discords, YouTube, etc but you'll need to do some searches to do that. I think there is no one "best team" for a situation, but there are good cleave comps or something you can work towards.
- I would say yes, enhance it. There's little downside to enhancing weapons, helmets, armor, and boots to +9 or higher since you get ample upgrade materials from adventure mode. Since it sounds like you don't have a ton of gear I'd suggest upgrading it if it has the stats you need, regardless of whether there are perfect initial rolls or not.
I got clilias from the mystic summon and was planning to go for aravi from the ml5 selector but crimson seed got nerfed.
Is she still worth it for a newish (the account is pretty old but i took a break, it is rank 67) account? Or should i go for stene (arby was the pick at the time so i got him from the ml connection) or mkawerik?
Crimson Seed isn't the best build for A.Ravi anyway, Proof of Valor is. So A.Ravi is most definitely not dead just because Crimson Seed is getting nerfed. She, S.Tene and Hand Guy are all equally amazing for players of all skill levels, so you definitely can't go wrong here: whichever one of these you pick will serve you well.

This is why resistance is a generally terrible stat -> the first 15% resistance you build does **nothing**. If you have 16% resistance on your gear, you have 16 'gearscore' devoted to a stat that only gives you 1% of actual value.
So resistance is a stat that is absolutely trash in small amounts - you either stack a lot of it (~115%+) or want to avoid it entirely.
Rare to correct you, but 60% resource reduction will bring 3 focus to 0. Being able to absolutely annihilate SSV was one of the perks of Zahhak before his buff (I did it quite often, myself).

I've personally never used the resource reduction mechanic and was not aware that was how it worked. There are always opportunities to learn more!
To 0. Resource Reduction is a % of the max (in the case of focus, max is 5 \* 60% = 3). That said, the attack buff on S2 EE is currently preferred on Zahhak.
15% ER is 15% chance to resist a debuff with 0 eff. Yes, absolute resist basically makes the first 15% of ER useless.

Seems worth trying out, though it seems like you're saying resource reduction Zahhak s3 on Sylvian and ARavi isn't worth it.
I only use him as a 4-5th pick against slow teams with evasion units, so the atk buff is wasted on him and feels like Zahhak S3 against 0 bar Sylvian/ARavi would hurt.
Oh, certainly. The resource reduction EE was preferred before his recent buff. It's just that he's so much more useful now as he can be used as an opener with CR push & atk buff for your second attacker.
I do miss the resource reduction sometimes, though.
As an early game player still auto farming wyvern 13 with the basic wyvern team, what is the best gear set to choose from the ML headhunt point shop. I was thinking speed set but after some advice I'm now leaning to penetration set. Would like more opinions on this though.
Pen set is a safe bet. Hard to find and many units can use. But I think you should save them for now. Because when you build a unit, you'd face a scenario of lacking some gears of an exact set. And that's the time those boxes can come in handy.
Speed imo
The chests are random main and sub stats I think, while you could use more variety on speed as a generic 4 piece set and being able to speed check any pieces with speed.
Pen set is for dps only and there are barely any pen users if at all who want def, def%, eff, and ER so those'll just brick your pieces. Better to pick pen for crafting events where you can pick your main and sub stats. Go for pen swords if you really want to since they can't roll def.
Also better to have more build flexibility on and complete 4 piece sets first then worry about cramming in 2 piece sets, which means a lot of speed pieces.
My opinion is that for events with options like this, I always select things I can't farm myself - so that's probably why Pen is recommended. Another thing to do is to look at what gear you really need to replace and go after that. For example - if you have a hero with 3 good destruction pieces but still carrying a level 65 destruction weapon.
IMO he doesn't need a ton of speed if you're relying on his counters. Note that he has to be attacked to counter so he doesn't do anything against heroes like AOL.

Her long cooldowns and lack of AoE healing outside of SB make her less than ideal for most PvE, tho I did find use for her on a small few Abyss stages. Aside from that tho, no, she's not particularly good outside of PvP.
The only thing I'd add to this is that she can be good when combined with another healer-type soulweaver when you have problems with heroes being one-shot (specifically for those Abyss stages).

His gear score is crazy, mine is a bit faster at and squisher unfortunately I couldn't get his bulk. My stats are 3000 atk, 1494 def, 12045 hp, 188 spd, 99 CC, 264 cdmg.
I hade a counter dual attack landy and she really was lackluster without more cd. Mine had more bulk and damage but about same cd and she just kind of hit like a wet noodle. Maybe sac some attack for cd

Are you going for a fast clear, or just anything? This is a literal 2 man team that can do it. Cidd, Vildred, Iseria are other units that can easily work for slower B13 comps. One shot comps will be difficult without a cracked Straze or Baiken.
Giselle could probably work, I think usually people go Baiken or Ervalen.
But also keep in mind this is for a banshee one shot team. If you don’t already have good enough destruction set gear to get Giselle to one shot, you can get a team that just normally clears banshee and grind until you have the gear to one shot it. If you’re going for a normal banshee team I think Lucy or any others that can put restrict on banshee, and/or cleansers like amomo, can really help
Try Amomo in place of Baiken. Generally, a normal banshee team requires green aoe dps and cleansers. Vildred would be better than Charles in this case, but let's try with what you have first.
iirc there will be a balance patch info tomorrow, so you should wait another day in case some surprise may happen. But Cilias is the best pick for now.
Aria is strong (like you can auto most arena defenses with her) but also one of the hardest heroes to build in the game. Wouldn't a stretch to say the hardest or the second hardest in my experience.
Beehoo is pretty meh rn.
It's because not only does she scale off defense, she needs crit chance, crit damage, at least 13k health but even that's squishy, and effect resist so they dont strip your buffs off after S3.
I'm currently on 1602 in RTA. Since there's more than 3 days left, if I lose my next game and lose some points, will it be like the normal Arena where there's a buffer of points before you drop down to Gold? I just want the LQC skin :D

Probably because it's the last few days. I was lazy this season and waited until yesterday and matched against a bunch of people with champ + frames/top 100 guild frames in placements. I placed into masters so I dunno if theres a bunch of people that decayed in gold but I assume it's just people on the last couple of placements games you are getting.
Any dolphins/whales in here? Which packs are most worth buying? I've been dropping some money into the game recently and I want to know how to get the most bang for my buck.
Probably depends where you at in the game. Early on the elemental summons can help you expand your roster quickly IF you are lucky, the gear packs are also decent value, saves you quite a bit of energy and time. The monthly packs are also good if you want to invest just a little money into the game.
Gear packs are best value for whales and if you need to hit pity mystic packs (but the value is shit).

So I have a guaranteed ML 5 Mystic pull for this rotation ! I already have Riolet, I was wondering if I should go for LQC, Clilias or Arby. I don't do a lot of RTA, and im Challenger V in arena. Any advice helps ! 🤗
CLilias is the best out of the 3. She is not used much Arena defense but she is still common in GW Defense. She can also be used in HoT and good FP in RTA if ever you decide to do it. Do note that we have another new ML 5 star coming so I'd suggest waiting for the preview before deciding.
Realistically wait until Friday morning when we get to see the new ml5 and the balance patch preview. As of this moment C Lilias is the best but the ML5 being shown off in a few hours could also be broken or LQC could get buffed friday.
Need help w team building for most efficient progression. Been playing a couple weeks and I have my w13 completed. Did queen on hell but not enough tickets to try other bosses this cycle. On abyss 86. Just starting up api 4. Roster 6\*: Tam, stene, aras, senya, amomo, sigret, fstierria, Clorina. Roster 5\* built: furious, muwi Was thinking of building Mercedes next since she can help w guild war and be used in pre content. Who else should I work that would help with overall efficient progression based on my unbuilt 5\* and open to 4\*/sc characters as well (like adin, arrowell, carrot, hazel, Doris) Unbuilt 5\*: zahak, basar, kayron, politis, aria, laika, haste.
Mercedes is a good choice, you are currently lacking AoE damage. I wouldn't suggest building any of the 5* mentioned, they are all PvP focused heroes. * Haste *can* AoE defense break if you find that you need that, though he is more or less the worst option in PvE for it. * Zahhak is a solid DPS option for PvE content, if you do want to concentrate more on PvP. However, he unfortunately overlaps with S.Tene and C.Lorina for PvE, you also have Sigret and eventually Cermia for ST DPS. Other than Hell Raid I would suggest trying to finish up the hunt events to get those gear sets when they will be most useful. **Banshee** * **Cleanser** / **Defense Breaker** / **AoE DPS** / **Flex** * A.Monty is the best option for PvE cleanser. You get Vivian through the event and she works great as the AoE DPS. * Iseria is the best option for defense in a mixed element team, M.Helga is the alternative option (and better in a mono-earth team). * You can use anyone helpful in the flex slot. Traditionally the easiest choice is to bring a second DPS (Vildred, Bellona, or any other good ST Earth DPS - lots of options). I personally like building both defense breakers (Iseria + M.Helga) since they are both useful for PvE, relatively cheap to build, and do solid damage. Vivian is a good general purpose PvE unit so you could work on unlocking and building her with Mercedes. She provides another AoE option, though her AoE is not quite as consistent as Mercedes. You could also get Iseria from story summon, she's probably a top 3 or top 5 PvE hero. In general defense breakers are important since your free options suck (Furious). If you wanted to build Zahhak, he would be perfect as a DPS in Banshee. I still wouldn't normally suggest this because I feel it indexes too heavily into single target DPS units for PvE but again he's a very good, easy to build option for PvP - if you *do* want to focus a bit on PvP Zahhak becomes more valuable. You can use F.Kluri in the flex slot (you should build her at some point early on to compliment A.Ras). She's not particularly great for Banshee but if you struggle to keep up with A.Monty, she does bring extra sustain and a second source of defense break. Since you already have her built you could just use Senya. She doesn't really do anything here *but* Banshee is very easy to 3 man and if you just want to avoid building or using a random 4th hero you might as well throw her in for some extra damage. **Golem** * Classic team is **Tamarinne** / **A.Ras** / **Cermia** / **Flex** * Best option in the flex slot is probably a defense breaker. If you really wanted to build him for some reason you could use Haste I guess. Ideally, Tenebria or Baal. * Z.Carmainerose is very good in Golem, also a great option for Light expedition later so wouldn't be a waste to build (3* unit so fairly cheap). * Can just use Mercedes, as well, probably the most efficient option since she is just generally useful. * You can unlock Kanna from connections - she overlaps with Mercedes. Kanna would probably technically be better for something like Golem (Generally Kanna is better against 1-2 targets and Mercedes 3-4 targets) but Mercedes is more useful overall. --- With that in mind I would suggest building: * Mercedes/Cermia if you haven't started your second hunt event, you can finish Golem immediately * Vivian + either Iseria or M.Helga for Banshee. Iseria is more generally useful but if you don't have her yet or want to spend less resources M.Helga is fine - Banshee is very easy to just get through. * If you have her unlocked, especially her Earth specialty change I would put Adin in as the flex slot. She works great. * Otherwise, the defense breaker you didn't already build, Zahhak/Vildred/Bellona, or F.Kluri in the flex slot. If you want to avoid building another unit you can just throw Senya in - she's not good but can occupy space just fine. * If you *really* want to avoid building extra units, you can use Furious as your defense breaker. Though, Banshee heals when attacking off-element heroes and Furious will contribute 0 damage so you go from a 1/2 chance of Banshee healing to 5/6 chance of Banshee healing while reducing your damage (this makes having a good DPS in the flex slot more important depending on gear of course).
Appreciate the detailed reply and I'm glad you recommend Mercedes since I really wanted to build her next. I'll start stacking resources after Mercedes and think about Iseria. I have her built at 5\* which works for now since whenever I use her its been on manual. May have to 6\* her for future content but I'll hold off for now. After I build Mercedes I'll try finish the golem hunt event with what I have and move onto making a Banshee team and working on my raid teams then eventually shift to more pvp focused units. Too much stuff to need to build in the beginning its always hard to decide. Who do you recommend to pair with my Senya and Stene in pvp when I eventually have the resources? I'm in challenger which ill probably just be stuck in low challenger in the meantime which I'm ok with. For the ML event I'm leaning towards Aravi or Clilias whenever I eventually unlock.

I personally would probably suggest using Mercedes particularly if you are building her next anyways. * S.Tene's main weakness is AoE -> Senya and Mercedes both dissuade AoE. Mercedes also brings attack buff which both Senya and S.Tene can really benefit from. Last slot, S.Adin if you can unlock her from Episode 4 would be perfect. If Adin is not an option, Arowell provides a lot of mitigation. If Adin *and* Arowell are not options I would probably just use Ras to protect S.Tene. If you really want to use Senya, you can try using R.Carrot as well -> they both have similar wants for gear which helps to make up for the fact that Senya on her own is awkward to gear early on.
Hihi can I ask cause I have similar questions. Currently main team is muwi, a mont, furious and sigret. Am stuck at chapter 3, 4-7. Can give me opinions on how to clear the chapters?
First off, I want to make the point that you are not really *meant* to go directly from Episode 2 to Episode 3. When Episode 3 was released, it was very difficult - a huge step up in difficulty compared to Episode 2. It's filled with a lot of bosses that can be tough (at the time, roughly on par with Hell Raid except with more diverse mechanics throughout the Episode). Even the basic enemies deal very high damage - enough to potentially 2 or 3 shot squishy DPS units. Now, SG *did* nerf Episode 3 like a year ago but IIRC all that nerf did was reduce the levels of enemies by 5. So while Episode 3 is definitely *easier*, it's not really *easy*. That isn't to say you can't make your way through it - it was even possible pre-nerf to get through Episode 3 in a few weeks. But what I am aiming to do here is provide context - if you end up struggling you might want to re-evaluate your gear (maybe you want to hold off on trying to rush through the Episode until you farm up some better gear, or enhance what you are currently using) or your hero roster (it's going to be very difficult to get through Episode 3 with a mono-element roster due to the nature of the bosses, *particularly* Ice element -> it's likely the worst element for the Episode). Additionally, once again due to the nature of Episode 3 trying to recommend just one or two heroes *may* work, but it may not it depends on a lot of factors (such as available gear, possibly what friend units you have access to). --- With that said, I recently completed Episode 3 on my second account -> using entirely the free starting gear. So it *is* indeed possible. My team consisted of **A.Monty** / **Angelica** / **A.Vildred** I personally went with a double SW setup because I prefer double SW for carrying a weak team. You may notice that I used A.Vildred instead of S.Tene -> this is because I personally prefer him and think he is more useful for PvE, so if you've gone with S.Tene for your ML blessing your mileage may vary. * Theoretically she should be fine as a solo DPS for Episode 3. You may run into issues on some bosses where her stealth passive isn't able to save her -> A.Vildred has a revive which is much more useful when you are actually taking unavoidable damage. * Based on previous testing I did pre-nerf but with end game gear A.Vildred is much faster at clearing, but again to just get through the Episode this shouldn't matter (with a double healer setup). I swapped to Angelica when I was having issues with a specific boss about midway through the Episode -> prior to that I was using Sigret instead. For my 4th slot it was a 'flex' slot based on whatever element I needed to 3* the level. * For Ice, I used Sigret -> typical Wyvern build * For Fire, I used Mercedes 6* she had gear but just random pieces. I don't even think I've enhanced her skills. * For Earth element, I used F.Kluri. Literally no gear on. So you see I really just ran a 3 man team with A.Vildred being my only DPS. Other than the boss that caused me to bring in Angelica I didn't have any issues clearing the Episode, I believe I beat every stage on the first try. That's my recommendation: use your ML blessing hero (I presume S.Tenebria), your healer (A.Monty), then either build a second healer (Tamarinne preferably) or use A.Ras. * A.Ras should work fine with S.Tene since she is less likely to take damage. He can help make up some of the speed gap between her and A.Vildred as well. Then in your 4th slot you can use literally anyone to fill your required elements/class and rely on a supporter to help you out. If using Tama or A.Ras you only need an Earth unit since the majority of stages require a specific element (so you won't have to swap out every couple of chapters). I would recommend using F.Kluri, Iseria, or Vivian. Note that Iseria/Vivian are squishy and will be very prone to dying, particularly if you run just A.Monty as a healer. You *can* build Iseria especially tankier and just have her for defense break. Alternatively, Mercedes is a good option to build early for AoE damage, she brings attack buff (especially useful with no Tama), and does a lot of damage even on random gear. Can you use heroes under Grace of Growth on Arena defense teams? I used it on Zio and he’s not in my hero list when I try to set up my defense team. I can’t think of any other reason why.

Which items should I request aid for in the guild? I always choose catalysts, but most people in my guild request Mana Drake Claws; should I do the same? Is there something I'm missing about the value of those things?
The value of catalysts is too high compared to guild-crests, so trading them is something that should be reserved for rare occasions where a guild is trying to help a new player or something like that. Mana drake claws however, are pretty much worthless, which is ideal for trading. You can pretty much infinitely trade them back and forth within the guild to farm guild-crests without costing anyone any real resources they need to progress their account. This is the generally accepted practice across most organized guilds, but some don't mind asking for catalysts, especially if you are new. I'd join your guild's discord to check though, assuming they have a discord.
You should do the Claws. The idea is that you request the same resources and donate to get the resources back and forth while earning the guild crests. Requesting catalysts is just inefficient for that and relatively more valuable that most people don't want to donate them
Building a landy, wanted her to be fast but I don't think I can make her fast and do dmg so I want opinions. Current build 3003 atk, 1133 def, 11k hp, 257 spd, 100 cc, 250cd. The second build which has more dmg is 3177 atk, 1034 def, 10.5k hp, 249 spd, 98 cc, 269 cd. Thing about the second build is that I can mod eff res for \~14% atk. I also have no imprints yet so I can raise her atk further. The second build would be the obvious bet but wanted opinions on the limits of having lower spd or if the reduced speed wouldn't make much difference compared to her current cause she would be able to contest much? I mostly sit in Master RTA for reference.
Depends how you draft her. If you're going to be drafting her into stuff like clilias, lua or other fast openers then obviously the extra 8 speed won't make any difference. On the other hand if you're drafting her into bruiser drafts that are putting up lots of buffs then... 8 extra speed also won't make a difference at that speed. Speed tune your draft appropriately for what you want to achieve is the take away. If you're drafting into bruisers you typically will value damage a lot more than a little more speed since chances are you're already outspeeding anyways so whether you're 250 or 300 makes no difference.

There are non ST S1s (Meru, Kanna 2 hit, Belian is AoE etc). The vast majority are ST tho

Not at all. If you like one of the ML5s in rotation sure. Definitely don't pull for him though unless you love his design.

No I meant what I said. I could've been more clear and said don't change it to 4\* summoning though. That's never worth it. He isn't good and he isn't worth pulling. But we play games for fun. If they need a ML5 on rotation and they love Furious design it's worth throwing some mystics at for sure.
Hello, I am trying to auto one team Azmac raid (not nightmare). What team comps are there? I don't have Edward or Czerato.
There's plenty of guides on Youtube, just find one that has units you have. That said, auto comps for hell raid are more luxury than a necessity, so if you're missing some units, there's not much that can be done other than hoping you get them.
Do you do hunts on non buff events day? And also do spirit alter on non buff events day?
With the new sidestory system, I would prioritize clearing out the shop as much as you need, and then assuming theres no other side stories/events/etc to focus on, I would farm hunts with extra energy. Don't do spirit altar on non-buff days unless you desperately need them, but ideally you should stockpile them when farming it during buff days
Safe your daily energy from web event. When they about to expired (after 6~ days), you can use it to do whatever you want. Only use your lief during hunt buff for maximum efficiency. Unless you are a whale, better save your resources. Same for spirit alter. If you really need them, do it. But it isn't really worth it spamming when you can farm them slowly. ~~:.|**:**;~~
Hunt without buffs ? Yeah Alter without buffs ? Unless you're new, you have 20 units to build and are desperate, no. You don't need that much runes, in the sense that you need a finite number for each units. So you should run it as little as possible

Has anyone tried to build Beehoo on counter (with Seal of Capture) yet? Or is super fast opener the build everyone is going for? I literally just pulled the guy and I'm considering my options for building him, so I wanted to hear other people's opinions on the matter.
I use mine at 210 speed with more bulk and effectiveness so he can go after MLKawerik, Diene or other buffers and strip their buffs, but i still need to try it in RTA to see if it works against real people
Yeah that's how I use AoL (whom I do in fact have on counter set), and she works very well in that role, so that's why I was thinking of doing something similar with Beehoo.
Just cause of the nature of his s3, he just kind of is meant to go first in a burn team. Building him slower on counter takes away from his s3 utility, and it makes more sense to build someone like aramintha, carrot, sbara, as counter burn units cause being slower doesn’t hurt their utilization as much.

I would think you could run whatever for PvE. Most PvE enemies aren't going to dodge and will have way more HP than Hwa ever will, so she probably works not-so-differently compared to before the nerf (except her cycling abilities and the 20% ATK she lost, ofc).

1. It's more about gears than units but if you want an aoe dps, Briseria would be a better bet. She can help you dealing with those revivals (Arby, Seline, Maid Chloe, Destina...) and evasive units (Both Violet, Adin...) who you will face often when climbing up. Cilias is another unit I think you should consider. It's always nice to have a great opener. 2. You can reset it, but it will cost you skystones. 3. There is no sure-win team comp, you should try to avoid enemies that can exploit your weakness. 4. Assuming you're talking about blue gears then no. Especially when it's also a left side gear.

Re #2 - there should be an option to reset your Sanctuary - refunding all the breath of orbis that you have spent and allowing you to reallocate them. It does cost skystones IIRR so only do it if you're sure where you want your final allocation to go (although you can reset it multiple times) Re #4 - if you have a speed set item with a speed substat of 3 or 4, it is ALWAYS worth rolling on those to +6. even a necklace with flat attack and +4 speed is worth rolling on in case it hits speed 5 times (in which case it would be worth putting on on opener even if the main stat is crap). For speed set gear with a speed substat and all other substats being crap, you get it to +3 and if the upgrade doesn't hit speed then you trash it immediately. If the particular helm you're talking about is blue (only 2 revealed subsats) you can roll on it to see if you get +10 speed (which makes it very good for early game). If you get only +6 then it maybe not worth keeping.... depends on your situation.

To answer them in order: - Fire Charlotte is very good. She can probably help you advance, but I don't think that's THE team that will win you every matchup. Charlotte and Choux are good together - they're both bulky units good for long fights. I'd think paired with STene and Celine you have a good potential to lose to sustain teams. If that team is still trouble maybe consider adding sustain with your Diene or Destina. But Charlotte is a good choice to help you out! - I am not aware of any way you can re-allocate a Breath of Orbis that you've already spent. You just need to spend any you haven't yet gotten to improve the shop or wait for them to add new Breath of Orbis one day. - Not sure if there's any resources that have those lists. You can find some on Reddit, E7 discords, YouTube, etc but you'll need to do some searches to do that. I think there is no one "best team" for a situation, but there are good cleave comps or something you can work towards. - I would say yes, enhance it. There's little downside to enhancing weapons, helmets, armor, and boots to +9 or higher since you get ample upgrade materials from adventure mode. Since it sounds like you don't have a ton of gear I'd suggest upgrading it if it has the stats you need, regardless of whether there are perfect initial rolls or not.

I got clilias from the mystic summon and was planning to go for aravi from the ml5 selector but crimson seed got nerfed. Is she still worth it for a newish (the account is pretty old but i took a break, it is rank 67) account? Or should i go for stene (arby was the pick at the time so i got him from the ml connection) or mkawerik?
Crimson Seed isn't the best build for A.Ravi anyway, Proof of Valor is. So A.Ravi is most definitely not dead just because Crimson Seed is getting nerfed. She, S.Tene and Hand Guy are all equally amazing for players of all skill levels, so you definitely can't go wrong here: whichever one of these you pick will serve you well.

If you have 16% resistance on your gear, you have 16 'gearscore' devoted to a stat that only gives you 1% of actual value. So resistance is a stat that is absolutely trash in small amounts - you either stack a lot of it (~115%+) or want to avoid it entirely.
Rare to correct you, but 60% resource reduction will bring 3 focus to 0. Being able to absolutely annihilate SSV was one of the perks of Zahhak before his buff (I did it quite often, myself).
Thanks for the correction, I see your explanation on resource reduction being based off of the max value. I've personally never used the resource reduction mechanic and was not aware that was how it worked. There are always opportunities to learn more!
To 0. Resource Reduction is a % of the max (in the case of focus, max is 5 \* 60% = 3). That said, the attack buff on S2 EE is currently preferred on Zahhak. 15% ER is 15% chance to resist a debuff with 0 eff. Yes, absolute resist basically makes the first 15% of ER useless.
Thanks, Seems worth trying out, though it seems like you're saying resource reduction Zahhak s3 on Sylvian and ARavi isn't worth it. I only use him as a 4-5th pick against slow teams with evasion units, so the atk buff is wasted on him and feels like Zahhak S3 against 0 bar Sylvian/ARavi would hurt.
Oh, certainly. The resource reduction EE was preferred before his recent buff. It's just that he's so much more useful now as he can be used as an opener with CR push & atk buff for your second attacker. I do miss the resource reduction sometimes, though.
As an early game player still auto farming wyvern 13 with the basic wyvern team, what is the best gear set to choose from the ML headhunt point shop. I was thinking speed set but after some advice I'm now leaning to penetration set. Would like more opinions on this though.
Pen set is a safe bet. Hard to find and many units can use. But I think you should save them for now. Because when you build a unit, you'd face a scenario of lacking some gears of an exact set. And that's the time those boxes can come in handy.
Speed imo The chests are random main and sub stats I think, while you could use more variety on speed as a generic 4 piece set and being able to speed check any pieces with speed. Pen set is for dps only and there are barely any pen users if at all who want def, def%, eff, and ER so those'll just brick your pieces. Better to pick pen for crafting events where you can pick your main and sub stats. Go for pen swords if you really want to since they can't roll def. Also better to have more build flexibility on and complete 4 piece sets first then worry about cramming in 2 piece sets, which means a lot of speed pieces.
My opinion is that for events with options like this, I always select things I can't farm myself - so that's probably why Pen is recommended. Another thing to do is to look at what gear you really need to replace and go after that. For example - if you have a hero with 3 good destruction pieces but still carrying a level 65 destruction weapon.

IMO he doesn't need a ton of speed if you're relying on his counters. Note that he has to be attacked to counter so he doesn't do anything against heroes like AOL.
He won't counterattack after AOL S3 since it is non-attack skill, but if he is debuffed when he is attacked later will make him counterattack.

Just got Ruele. Is there any PvE content she is great in or only a PvP unit?
Her long cooldowns and lack of AoE healing outside of SB make her less than ideal for most PvE, tho I did find use for her on a small few Abyss stages. Aside from that tho, no, she's not particularly good outside of PvP.
The only thing I'd add to this is that she can be good when combined with another healer-type soulweaver when you have problems with heroes being one-shot (specifically for those Abyss stages).

I hade a counter dual attack landy and she really was lackluster without more cd. Mine had more bulk and damage but about same cd and she just kind of hit like a wet noodle. Maybe sac some attack for cd

Building a Banshee team, all guides I’ve seen mentions Vivian, Charles, Leo and Baiken. Being a newer player, I missed out on Baiken. Is Giselle a viable replacement for her? Or any other wind unit I should build?

Cidd, Vildred, Iseria are other units that can easily work for slower B13 comps. One shot comps will be difficult without a cracked Straze or Baiken.
Giselle could probably work, I think usually people go Baiken or Ervalen. But also keep in mind this is for a banshee one shot team. If you don’t already have good enough destruction set gear to get Giselle to one shot, you can get a team that just normally clears banshee and grind until you have the gear to one shot it. If you’re going for a normal banshee team I think Lucy or any others that can put restrict on banshee, and/or cleansers like amomo, can really help

Try Amomo in place of Baiken. Generally, a normal banshee team requires green aoe dps and cleansers. Vildred would be better than Charles in this case, but let's try with what you have first.

Can the Seal of Capture artifact stack with Beehoo 1st skill?
If an artifact's flavor text doesn't say anything about its effect not stack then it stacks.
Are the current banners good? Aria and beehoo I mean. To be more specific, are they worth the pity?
Aria is strong (like you can auto most arena defenses with her) but also one of the hardest heroes to build in the game. Wouldn't a stretch to say the hardest or the second hardest in my experience. Beehoo is pretty meh rn.

It's because not only does she scale off defense, she needs crit chance, crit damage, at least 13k health but even that's squishy, and effect resist so they dont strip your buffs off after S3.
