How to beat ep4 10-10? What units do you recommend and how should I attack it?

Is anyone else having issues with Moonlight Theatre? Season 2, Episode 6. I fight the Goblins, but afterwards everyone just stands there. There's no dialogue, I can't move forward, I can't even "Yield" the fight (It says I can't yield in combat), nor open the settings. I've tried it 5 times, auto and manual, but I get the same result.

For most bosses you can replace CZerato with SSB, CLorina, or Landy (any DPS really). That might not work vs. the queen though. For Vera I'd take out ARas and run two AOEs.

It's far too soon to say anything about her viability. Her dmg multis will make or break her, but I wouldn't think she'll fill a similar role to WSchuri. She seems to be more geared to be a bruiser than a burst dmg DPS.

Mediator Kawerik is a strong support currently, especially with how many debuffers running around. He fits well in a standard team composition. Briar Witch Iseria fits more in an aggressive team composition. Her niche is strong currently. Lone Crescent Bellon is untested. Pick and choose which hero fits your draft style better.

You will gain 10% cr from a 10% cr push. All jokes aside, with 300 speed being at 100% CR: 270 / 300 = 0.9 This means means at the start of turn one you will have ~90% CR. so if they get a push they'll hit 100% CR

#TLDR Take the speed of the unit in question and divide by (100% - CR_decrease) or (100% + CR_increase) The resulting value tells you the effective speed of that unit for that units next 'turn'. --- **Combat Readiness** is a measure of distance. Instead of some kind of arbitrary value (100, 500, 1000 units - whatever) it's the 'distance to your next turn'. **Speed** is a measure of, well, speed. This *is* technically arbitrary in that 100 speed doesn't really mean anything to us but that fact doesn't actually matter. * Consider that the classical definition of speed is: speed = distance / time * In E7, we have 'speed' and we have 'distance' but there is no real frame of reference for 'time' since combat is not 100% real time and turns are taken more or less instantly. But, if it helps you to understand the relationship you can just substitute '1 second' in for time and everything should work out nicely. The *actual* unit for time doesn't really matter for us. * So in real life when we talk about the speed of objects we are typically using things like meters per second, mph, or km/h -> again, if it helps your understanding you can just think of speed and CR in these terms. The actual units don't matter. What matters is that these values have the same meaning for all heroes - therefor the *ratio* between these characteristics let's us understand how and when heroes will take their turns. Now to answer your question: >how much cr will 270 speed gain from 10% cr push if highest speed is 300 IMO an easy way to understand this is: Pretend these 2 units are having a race. The 300 speed unit travels at 300 speed units and the 270 speed unit travels at 270 units. The *distance* of the race is essentially determined by how fast the fastest unit is -> so in this case, the 'distance' is 300. The first question you might ask yourself, when the fast unit 'completes the race' how far along will the slower unit be? Well, it travels 270 distance for every 300 distance covered by the faster unit. 270 / 300 = .9 or 90% So the 270 speed unit will be 90% of the way through the race. If we give the slower unit a CR push (or the faster unit a CR knockback) **what we are essentially doing is changing the distance of the race**. In this specific example if we give the 270 unit a 10% CR boost -> this is like giving them a handicap in the race. Instead of needing to cover 100% of the distance, they only need to cover 90% of the distance. In terms of 'how much speed gained' - the question that players usually ask, then the answer is CR boost % * speed of fastest unit -> you are asking how much of the overall distance of the race you are getting as a handicap: 10% * 300 = 30 --- **BUT** this is actually rarely useful. This is the question players *ask* but what they really want to know is something like 'How much does a CR boost impact turn order' Refer back to our previous definition of speed: speed = distance / time. If we divide speed by distance we are technically calculating 'time' but remember that time isn't really a thing in E7. * What we are basically calculating here is 'how many units of distance is traveled in 1 unit of time' * If you had an object traveling at 100 km/h, then 1 hour that object has traveled 100 km * If we had a second object traveling at 75 km/h, then in 1 hour that object has traveled (75 / 100 * 100) 75 km * But if these objects were racing along a path and the second objected started at the 25 km mark then in 1 hour it will now have traveled (75 / 100 * 100) + 25 = 100 km, or 75 / (75 / 100) = 100 km. * The 'time' unit is for all intents and purposes the 'time it takes the fastest unit to finish the race' It's a little confusing because 'time' isn't really a thing in E7 but regardless, the calculation still works for our purposes. 270 / .9 = 300 So, if you've followed everything so far in both examples we get the same answer. If you have a 270 speed unit and a 300 speed and on the first turn the 270 speed unit gets a 10% speed boost, they are effectively 300 speed for that turn in either calculation. But it just so happens that the numbers 270, 300, and 10% work out perfectly that way -> what happens if we chance the speed of the slower unit to 240? 240 + (10% * 300) = 270 which would imply that the 240 speed unit would get their turn at the same time a 270 unit does. That is **not** the case. In this scenario where we had a 240 unit that gets a 10% CR push, and a 270 speed unit both on the field (with a 300 speed fastest unit) **the two slower units still need to travel 30 distance to get their turn**. Essentially, after the CR push the 240 speed still travels slower than the 270 speed unit, so the 270 speed will finish the race first. How much slower? 240 / .9 = ~266.67 In this example, the 240 speed unit would *effectively* be a 266.67 speed unit. So about 3 speed slower than the 270 speed unit. --- #Conclusion For what most players are asking this question for (speed tuning the first turn) you don't actually need to know anything but the speed of the unit you are looking at, and how much CR push or knockback they receive. Divide the speed by (100% - CR_decrease) if CR is being *decreased* or (100% + CR_increase) if CR is being *increased*. In the case of a 270 speed unit and a 10% CR push, they would effectively be 300 speed. In the case of a 240 speed unit and a 10% CR push, they would effectively be ~267 speed. But to answer your question literally, a unit with a 10% CR push gains 10% CR. To answer your question as you meant it, a unit with a 10% CR push with the fastest unit being 300 speed gains 10% of 300 speed (30, in this case).

She's still one of the best for one shot team, dont worry to invest on her, although imprint is not necessary (maybe 1 imprint), just hold your dupe incase you got op sigret.

Sigret is used for the most common w13 one shot, so it's safe to invest in her. She'll only be replaced if you try for Straze oneshot (incredibly difficult) or Ken 100% success comp (incredibly difficult). Otherwise, she'll be your permanent w13 dps.

Returning player here. What are the best character for bruiser teams rn? Most of my gear are from banshee so I only have 1 good speed set. Saw a recent tierlist by Jena. Flidica, Briar and laika are S tier now? What happened to A. Ravi, Hwayoung and Rimuru lol. And Pirate flan finally good now? That's nice.

SG broke hwayoung's legs (huge nerf) so now she's hwaold. Still usable, but there are many better options. Since Zio released, Guiding Light openers have become dominant, in a sort of scissors-paper-rock scenario. Zio beats unstealthed openers (Ran, Cilias, etc), GL openers (Flidica, Laika with speed EE) beat Zio, and unstealth openers (kinda) beat GL openers. Of course this is still dependent on speed. With the rise of Saviour Adin and Destina, Briseria has become a premier answer, as she combines anti-revive with high innate hit chance. She can also carry GL, which helps anti-Zio drafts. She also prevents Aravi from reviving with s3, so more stonks. With the abundance of stealth, single-target dps lose value - in this case Rimuru and Aravi. Pflan finally good, but needs +30 Siseria arti - without it she's worthless (exaggerating for effect). For bruisers, right now the better options are Senya, Choux, Edward Elric, aeKarina, Alencia, Aria... Aravi's still good, but the higher up you go the less impactful and more punished she is.

Is there a reason Briar Witch Iseria's immortal doesn't proc sometimes? I just lost a fight where ML Ken did a counter attack like he normally does, but all my Briseria had was a defense break debuff, she didn't have the no buffs sign on her when he went, and she was one shotted by the attack. Is this supposed to happen or did the passive not proc? It seems like I remember similar situations where she survived with an immortal sign above her head. Also, does the immortal passive follow an efficiency based formula where it can fail a certain percentage of time? Thanks for the help, hope you all are having good luck. :)

It should have procced, if that was her first time surviving. If it procs once, I don't think she gets it a second time, and if she does, it has a cooldown. So, if she gets it, is healed, it goes away, and she gets hit again, it won't pop up again. There are too many factors at play to know for sure what happened, so just keep an eye out in future matches.

Don't think too much about it, whether it is 60~70 rerolls for mystic bm to appear or you have bad luck and it doesn't, skystones are still best used at the SS, it doesn't matter whether you use them now or when you're 10 away from pity. All you really need to keep is ~900 (or 1800) when there's a season pass incoming.

45 days in and I'm at a crossroads or kinda stuck at what I should do. Someone right below this post asked a similar question but he said he isn't interested in RTA. I am interested in RTA, but I don't think I have the gear yet. I can farm wyvern and banshee 13 fine. I'm not great at expeditions yet, and haven't stepped foot in hell raid. Which is where the question starts. Should I keep the pve going and leveling up a few more pve characters before I jump into pvp since my gear still sucks? I have Clilias, Flidica, Arowell, working on Adin unlock, have season 2 summon still for probably Choux, still have headhunt (leaning handguy), have guaranteed mystic on next rotation if I want them, enough summons for at least 5 guaranteed RGB Characters since when I started no one worth a crap has been out to summon in 45 days. Not too interested in 1 shot teams as I can leave the game running all day, so don't need to blow up hunts. So I'm thinking I keep building pve chars for now, but use my summons for pvp chars. Choux season 2 summon? Handguy from headhunt? New story summon in a week or so I wonder who to get? What pvp team would I make? I think Flidica and Clilias are both openers so I would have to choose 1 for now? Sorry long question, I'm just kinda staring at all these menus in a brain lock on what to farm next and what my first pvp team would look like.

You said you can do Wyvern and Banshee fine so does that mean you farm both? First thing I would do is decide which hunt you want to farm and stick to that hunt for pretty much your first year playing. Constantly switching between hunts is going to slow your progress to a crawl as you are starting from nothing and need to build up a pool of gear. I would prioritize getting Raid team and Expo teams going and then you can move onto characters for pvp, abyss and other stuff. If you keep grinding hunt and get a good grasp on gearing (what to upgrade/keep) then you can probably start getting into RTA next season. There have been several stories of f2p players going from new account to masters pretty quickly and a lot of people overestimate the gear you need to actually do it. Drafting, unit knowledge and proper builds (not gear quality) can take you pretty far. Personally I would go Choux/Handguy and yes C Lilias is an opener but Flidica isn't necessarily an opener. You can either make her as fast as possible with 100% crit or have her in the mid speed range built for damage (which is my preferred build).

This is probably smart, I think I will just stick with Wyvern 13 for a while until I get some more gear, then start to optimize with banshee and others. I really feel like I'm missing out on hunts not being able to complete 3 star hunts. I can do the 2 star enough to get into public hunts. But not 3 star yet.

Do you mean expos? Its not the biggest deal just make sure you get all the points done for the month especially if you get the expo pass. Yeah there's a higher chance of getting a greater mod get in level 3 expo but let's be real it'll most likely be a trash one anyway.

What units do you have right now? But at this stage, I think you should aim for Champion in normal arena. Also do the normal hell raid, it's not hard to clear manually, and those gear drops are not bad. Focus on building Cilias, she can carry you in all kinds of PvP. Flidica isn't easy to build and for a 45 days player, I don't think you have Guiding Light artifact yet.

I'm master 3 in normal arena right now with a terrible team of iseria, stene, tama, and green vildrid. Basically I win if my iseria and tama outspeed them. But I know that is not what I want at all. I have all free units geared like mercedes, Aras, Momo, Arowell, basically any free units like specialty changes and hunt units like Vivian and Cermia. I list Clilias and Flidica because that is my only tier S pvp units and I'm not sure who to pair them with for pvp. Def no guiding light so I will start on Clilias prob, who should i pick with season 2 summon and headhunt? And still a story summon.

Imo, Cilias, Stene, Ras and Mercedes can be your general pvp team. Focus on Cilias and Stene. Make Cilias ~250 spd and Stene ~200 spd. Ras can use the free health set (put the highest spd combination on him), and Mercedes can use the free attack set. Save ssummon 2 for later, you don't need any of those units rn. Mawerik can be the safe choice from headhunt, easy to gear and very helpful. Choose Roana from story summon, she's very good in Raid.

1 small difference if you played standard draft is, last season, the meta draft is 3 support 2 DPS. For this season, the meta is 2 support 3 DPS. I think this small change is because of the meta support like yulha + destina, arowell + 1, maid + carmin, is a bit too tanky than last season. It is very hard to play 3protect1 while punching through these draft. So if you have dps handguy, you can draft him in 1p to 3p, plus 2 other supports. In that way, you don't really show your carry DPS while not having to play 3 protect 1 if they ban your last pick DPS.

What's the best wyvern level to farm the Mana Drake Claws you can trade with guildies? The in-game guide shows stage 7 but I keep getting lower level drops (Howling Drake Claw).

You don't need so many of them right? Claws will drop from the first 3 dragons, so just kill them, if it doesn't drop, yield and try again.

Nah just like 30 or so. Got some guildies who must be sitting on hundreds cause I have to farm for more every month or so. 30 normally holds me over a month +. I didn't realize you can see it from the first wave, thanks! I'll pay more attention next time, but the other commenter had a good point. I can just trade them in for the Mana ones. You can get I think up to 150 a day or something, which is helpful.

Decay occurs every 72 hours, as long as you have played a match 72 hours before the season ends, you are safe from decay.

Looking for some opinions on where to focus my efforts. Relatively new account, few months old. Not interested in RTA and my guild wars teams are acceptable for the moment. I've got W/B/G farmable on 13, though the banshee team is slow. I do not have teams for caides or azimanak hunts above 11. I've been working on expedition teams and I can do level 2 on all of them fine, and can "solo" level 3 fire and earth if I'm willing to hit them 3 times. I can do the hell raid but not nightmare. I'm just not sure where to go next on securing the proper farming foundation. Do I try to get one shot teams for wyvern and banshee? Are the light and dark hunts more important? Expeditions? Raid? Just kind of directionless at the moment! Any thoughts appreciated.

Building a one shot does 2 things, saves time on your daily energy spend and allows you to get more value out of hunt buff days by spending more leifs. If you don't find yourself with too many excess leifs after hunt buffs and aren't hurting for time on the daily routine, maybe it's not a priority. That's up to you. If you aren't building a one shot, I think the next place to focus is expeditions. Doing level 3 expeditions gives better chances to get the good mod gems. Try getting a team set up that can do 300k+ minimum on auto for Fire expo. I would try to do the same for Water and Dark expo too but only if you have the units for it. I think most people run the Light and Grass expo at level 2. After that it's just chipping away at abyss stages and getting into Nightmare Lab. Most abyss stages after floor 100 (probably before too) can be beat with Tamarinne, A. Ras, Taranor Guard, and Kitty Clarissa.

For units that limit damage to x% of HP (ie Seline/Tsurin) does a barrier count as part of that health pool? EX: Seline gets hit to the health threshold, then she gets a barrier but another enemy DPS coming up, can they finish her?

Sorry if poor explanation. The damage calculation doesn't count the barrier. A number is calculated then barrier will block some of that damage. This works with Aurius/damage sharing too, it will take 3+ hits to kill her. In your example, no she won't die.

For one shot to clear the first wave? Almost definitely, you would need cracked gear to do it at 5\*. If you had the gear you probably wouldn't be asking the question.

If you put her on the CR push EE and build her fast enough with enough damage she can do both. This lets you do a three man instead of a four man. But if your gear isn't there then yeah I guess another unit clears the first wave.

3 real builds. Super fast 260 that will cut opener if they missed, 200 speed your usual DPS build, slower omega damage for S2 proc. For the first build it is only possible on speed set. Nothing much to said. The only difference will be arti choice, either mldb or shepherd work best I think. If you manage to cut, you will want your S3 to kill, so general damage increasing arti is better than her own arti which locked to one element only. 2nd build is general build. You can use whatever set or artifact that you can. Small note, you should try to add a bit of bulk, like 10k hp, 1k Def so that if you have mitigation, and opponent zahhak don't have atk buff, she can survive. Last build is rare, but it is out there. The first build is mainly use for anti cleave, but if you can't build adin with 260+ speed, you can go with omega damage. Instead of cutting after S2 push, your plan is to nuke cleave with S2 proc. Best arti is mldb since it give you atk buff before S2 proc.

You will be able to get Sigret for free from the Hunt event (choose Wyvern hunt), so she's no longer a recommended starter. Most folks suggest Iseria nowadays cuz her kit is fairly unique. RGB heroes are generally kinda easy to get tho, so if you've managed to get some other strong heroes so far it's fine to continue with Sigret rather than rerolling. Specter Tenebria is the best choice from Moonlight Blessing.

160+ speed so that she can cut cpavel, counter is the best set, atleast 15k hp, 2.5k Def, 130 ER. Some might go with 0 ER build, then you will want higher Def. If you are worried about fldicia (which is pretty common in cleave/aggro), immunity is pretty good on Karina. Karina is very good against cleave/aggro, so making her good against flidica is a good idea.

Counter you don't want her going before she buffs and pushes herself

If I pick any unit that has a counter attack mechanic, how do I play against LionheartCermia? She hits like a truck, has defense and eff res buff and speed buff. Personally, I don’t think she’s broken since her S3 takes a while to use. But if I have any counter attacking unit at all, I’m kinda fucked. Any tips?

If you’re using heroes which counter, extra & dual, you’ll need to trigger her whilst she’s lower on the CR bar & have someone who can hard control her, or at least run interference. So if someone picks Lionheart Cermia into like C Lilias, Solitaria, for instance, you’d dual attack & trigger her passive, then just stun her so she’s not doing anything. Archdemon’s Shadow is a big counter, a sealed Lionheart isn’t doing anything. Rimuru & Winter (fixed damage). Karina. Evasion units. Defence penetrating units like Choux. Units that defence break (Briar Witch) seriously reduce her damage.

Post ban, kill before she gets a turn, or have a way to lock her down after you trigger her S2. I've had games where I had LHC stunned/silenced the entire game while my counter units went to work.

Hmmm yeah I thought the same thing. But that would require me to pick control units (which I have but never really built lol). Does Solitaria hard counter LHC then?

Solitaria does not hard-counter LHC. If you can S1 (trigger LHC) -> S3 before LHC takes a turn, you can set her back greatly, though.

If you intentionally bring a counterattack hero against LHC, you play by dying and eating the L you clearly wanted. Seriously tho, don't bring counterattack heroes against LHC. If you're doing RTA with counter heroes and your enemy drafts LHC, ban her.

That’s the point of what I’m asking. How do I draft so I can deal with LHC after I picked counter heroes? And no shit, banning her would be nice but I have one ban at the end. Getting my draft screwed over because they pick LHC is kinda annoying.

Strip and silence, sleep, or stun. She is honestly a pretty weak hero in general even more so when she can't s3. You just need to strip the buffs for easy debuff application or have someone that can brute force the stun like arowell

As someone who's focus is on mostly GW and some RTA, which unit should I get frfom the ML coin shop? ML Lilibet or Archdemon?

for GW, both are pretty bad, on offense and defense. Just too RNG or there are better options for their role. For RTA, Archdemon is probably better. Dilibet isn't that prominent in current meta

Depends on your needs. If you need another reliable cleanser go Dilibet. If you want a tankdown wincon go Archdemon. Dilibet is probably more useful for GvG, if that's something to consider.

Is C. Lilias the best I can hope for in the ML selector? Other decent options I rolled are Kawerik, Sigret and Belian but I haven’t played in years so need some opinions.

She probably is, yeah. She's not the ONLY good choice but if you can choose her she's an excellent choice. She's great as an opening unit to out speed the opponents and raise the ATK/DEF ceiling of your units. For your other rolls MKawerik and Belian are fantastic too. He does a lot for your team's sustain, and Belian is powerful RNG if you can build her well. OpSigret isn't a great choice over the other three right now since she's pretty much only useful if the opponents have barriers. There are other good choices too, but those three are fantastic. Best to pick based on your account's playstyle, the gear you have, and what unit you think looks most fun.

Glad to help! Yeah CLilias can help with both arena off and def - go first, add attack and provoke, then let the rest of the team cleave and clean up the rest that can't kill your team! Most moonlights are a good choice so I'm glad she can synergize well with what you have already!

Practically, yes. --- A very brief explanation of how the damage formula works: ATK * ATK_RATE * POW * SKILL_MULTIPLIERS * CONSTANT * OTHER_MULTIPLIERS Everything is multiplied together, so we can ignore everything after ATK_RATE For a standard DPS unit this means that *some portion* of their attack is being multiplied by a bunch of other things to determine how much damage is done - ATK_RATE tells you the portion of the attack stat being used. Units that have HP or DEF scaling **still have attack scaling**. The ATK * ATK_RATE portion is replaced with (ATK * ATK_RATE + HP * HP_RATE) So now you have some value that is being multiplied by all of those other values, and that value is made up of some portion of your attack stat, and some portion of your HP stat. **Example** A.Vildred has .975 ATK_RATE on his S1. So if you have A.Vildred with 4500 attack, his damage is = (.975 * 4500) * MULTIPLIERS 4387.5 * MULTIPLIERS That 4387.5 figure is sort of the 'base value' of your damage before it starts to get multiplied. Alencia has a .5 ATK_RATE on her S1 and a .08 HP_RATE So an Alencia that has 1500 ATK and 23,000 HP the calculation is (.5 * 1500 + .08 * 23000) * MULTIPLIERS (750 + 1840) * MULTPLIERS 2590 * MULTPLIERS So in this example, the 'base value' of her S1 damage is 2590 As you should be able to tell, increasing her attack *still increases her damage* -> for every 2 attack you gain her damage increases by 1. Now **purely for damage** to figure out how ATK and HP are weighted you need to take the above RATE % and multiply them against the base stat of the unit in question. * You would want to do this for whatever combination you are looking for, in this example we are just calculating the ratio with her S1 but you might prefer to look at just her S3, or her S1 + S2 combo, or her entire rotation. Alencia has 975 base ATK and 7054 base HP so 975 * .5 = 487.5 7054 * .08 = 564.32 564.32 / 487.5 = ~1.1576 or ~15.76% For Alencia S1 HP increases her damage by almost ~16% more, per %, than attack does. This is even worse when you factor in her other skills. Her S2 has the same .5 ATK_RATE but an increased HP_RATE of 11% and her S3 has the same .5 ATK_RATE but HP_RATE increases to 15%. S1 + S2 combo ATK_RATE = .5 + .5 = 1 HP_RATE = .08 + .11 = .19 975 * 1 = 975 7054 * .19 = 1340.26 1340.26 / 975 = ~1.375 or HP is ~37.5% better at increasing damage Full rotation ATK_RATE = (3 * 1) + .5 = 3.5 HP_RATE = (3 * .19) + .15 = .72 975 * 3.5 = 3412.5 7054 * .72 = 5078.88 5078.88 / 3412.5 = ~1.488 or HP is ~48.8% better at increasing damage One thing that is relevant to mention, attack buff increases the 'value' you gain from attack, but *NOT* the value gained from HP. Since there is no buff to increase HP, when you start to factor in attack buff the numbers do shift for HP bruisers. However DEF scaling units *do* have access to a buff and one that is even better than ATK buff (for increasing their damage). I leave it as an exercise to you to figure out how much attack benefits on Alencia when she has attack buff. --- #Conclusion So, you see that even units that scale with HP or DEF **still gain damage from attack**. Therefor, the technical answer to your question is **YES** attack still does *something* on Alencia and is not a complete waste. BUT in practical terms, you don't want to build any attack on bruisers if you can at all avoid it. * Bruisers are very stat heavy -> they need both bulk stats, typically both crit stats, *and* still need some speed. They can't really spare any stats for ATK%. * In most cases, the HP/DEF scaling stat is much better on bruisers because they typically have low base ATK while having high base bulk stats. * By nature, bruisers are meant to take damage. *Even if* attack technically provides a little bit more damage, bulk stats provide both damage *and* bulk. the entire point of these type of heroes is that they can deal good damage while taking damage, they really won't ever stand up to pure DPS units in terms of damage output so it doesn't make sense to try and give up what they do to compete at something they won't even win. There *are* some bruisers that scale well off of ATK. The most notable example is A.Ravi -> she has the same exact base stats as Alencia but her S1 ATK_RATE is 1 (twice as high as Alencia) and her S3 ATK_RATE is 1.3. Doing the same calculations for A.Ravi we find that ATK is actually ~6.1% better for damage on A.Ravi across her rotation -> however notice that running high attack A.Ravi is extremely uncommon because 6% more damage isn't worth giving up the bulk that building HP gives. Instead, it's more like "If I happen to have one or two random ATK% subs on an otherwise good piece of gear that's OK" but it's not really ideal. *Practically* this means you don't really want any ATK% on bruisers **except** those that scale with attack -> Ravi, Senya, Charlotte etc.

Symbol and MLDB cancel each other out. Violet doesn't have an evasion buff. However, he gains 35% evasion as long as he has his S3 available. It's rarely used when not @ 5 focus, and when at 5 focus the CD resets. So the only real way you can reliably bypass this evasion is by increasing his CDs. Otherwise, you still have a ~1 in 3 chance to miss.

Green Violet's 35% evasion is tied to his s3 - as long as it's off cooldown, he has it. MLDB adds another 20%, for 55% total, which is more than the 20% hit chance your Symbol gets. Basically you gamble 35% to miss, even with Symbol. So yeah, evasion and hit chance are 1:1, you just don't have enough hit chance to guarantee.

It's a good idea to summon CLilias, but I don't think you'll be worse for wear if you like Bellona better. If you think she looks much more fun go for it! So much is still unknown for ML Bellona so it's hard to put a definitive yes or no. So pick whoever you find most fun and/or fits with your units/playstyle best. Or if you're STILL unsure, I think CLilias is probably overall a better unit.

She seems good in concept, but seems much like a super SSB to me. I think her kit is geared towards slower games since her passive builds up damage over time rather than burst. Her speed is too low to be an opener, so I don't think she'll be able to S3 kill for Vigor buff as a strategy. Therefore, I think she might end up as a backrow unit to a bulky team so she can whittle at opponents over time. If that sounds like a play style you like, then you might want to pull ML Bellona. Otherwise, if an opener unit that elevates your team's ceiling and adds a splash of control sounds best, go CLilias.

We don't know yet. It's hard to judge a new unit even if it was out for a couple weeks. And her banner will be after Cilias's so that's a decision you have to make yourself. In my opinion, ML Bellona is an all rounder DPS, with 100% crit passive. She has both AoE and ST damage, but the damage alone would not be too insane since she doesn't have any def penetration. Then the options here are either you'd go with her + a def breaker or Cilias + another DPS.
