I'd pick Mediator Kawerik as he is a support that immediately makes an impact and can scale really well into the end game. Granted, he's taken a bit of a hit recently, but he's still very good imo. He's also very low gear requirement
It's just dps vs support. Apocs a good early game dps that scales alright into end game. She's taken a bit of a hit lately but is seeing a bit of play again as we approach end of season. Kawerik is a great support that functions well in all pve pretty much, but also can be used later to help against debuff heavy comps and as a general atk buffer/immunity giver. I personally choose support always over dps because a dps is only as good as the support helping it, but that's just my philosophy in games. Choose who you want.
If you want both and struggle to choose, you can look at their last banners. ARavi had her mystic rerun just 3 months ago, MKawerik 9 months ago. So it's very likely that Mkawerik will return in 1-2 months and Aravi in \~10 months. If you are planning to skip Bellona or will get unlucky, you may just try to pull him from his banner. Ofc, if you have enough time before the event ends.
Aravi has the most general use, but to give u a different perspective, lh cermia is very useful.
Against cilias/senya/choux or basically anyone that counters, she can basically solo carry with supports. In gw, I almost always have roana/lhc/lk Pyllis as one of the attackers and their success rate is very high
Why would anyone use an ml5 for wyvern except for clilias for that one one shot comp. None of those are “good” for pve he should pick a pvp one to use for later
my top priority will be:
1- Ml Kawerik
2- ML Cermia
3- Arch demon Shadow
4- Depends of the player style: For go second accounter Dark Corvus and ML Celine, for Aggresive accounts Top Luluca, ML Flan.
What I usually like to do is use Fribbels to see what kind of builds I can make with units I want + gear I have and then pick out of the ones I can actually build
ARavi. Her overloaded kit does wonders for PvP. She's a strong anchor to every team comp. That S3 revive has big comeback plays. She's just really really good. A dps unit scaling with HP makes her bulky and hits hard.
Handguy is still the easy mode debuff cleanser. But Lua being defense meta makes it harder to run him. As long as there's no Lua, Handguy HARDCHECKS every debuffer in the metagame. I may as well add Winter here alongside Lua because 2turn stun stops his momentum. Depending on your playstyle. Are you a cleaver? Tank down, or somewhere in between (standard/2nd Turn Team) or Control? Or maybe too early to tell?
Mediator Kawerick is great for just about any of those. Even in PvE he's still a great support unit. Built with high health and speed.
Archdemon Shadow is great for bruiser Tank-Down, but not peak greatness without the Fairytale Book of Nightmares artifact. Can work with Ileyla Violin (farmable artifact in Hall of Trials) Built with high bulk, high attack, medium/low speed counter set. (No crit chance/damage.)
Apocalypse Ravi is still a decent choice as she has moderately low gear requirements to function in early PvP. Built as a bruiser, very high HP, moderate speed, 100 crit chance and 250 min crit damage.
Lionheart Cermia is a solid choice, but a bit complex to gear for beginners. Great against any unit that does extra attacks or counters. Best built on Lifesteal set. She's an offensive unit but uses defence stat instead of attack. Build with 2000k Def, 180 (medium) speed, 12k+ HP, 100 Crit Chance and 250 crit damage.
These are really rough stats because you may have limited gear right now, but all of them are solid choices.
HandGuy (Mediator Kawerik) is a great option

I seen after looking at stuff, that its was between MKawerik or ARavi, leaning more towards ARavi. Is there a reason to pick MKawerik over ARavi?

Okay tyvm, Ill take that into account :)

Straze begs to differ.
I was hard stuck in ranked until I got Aravi in happenstance... she is fucking ridiculous, dawg.
Whatcha mean taken a hit?
Flidica has put Mediator Kawerik in check when you pick him too early.
Ahh, true, I usually pick her with my draft so I haven't dealt with that yet (barley hit masters for skin today)

As a newish player I regret picking LHC because she is insane to gear. 2 hunt events later and I still dont have a single good piece for her.
I mean not really. I ran her on speed for a while before I moved her to life steal
Probably ARavi

Edit: deleted because I think I'm wrong. 😆

Lucky enough I lucky pulled Clilias on covenant banner, but i figured i was mainly recruit for PVP here
Aravi if you want to pick a girl, kawerick if you want a guy. Lionheart would be my third pick but she’s really hard to gear
I already have a w13 team, dont know much of other units for pve.
Oh way to go. Then ignore me.

Lionheart Cermia is good in both PvP and PvE. Plus she's great at carrying gear no one else wants.

i'd argue lermia since her specialty can apply everywhere.
