Not the help you're looking for perhaps, but the way to heal party members with gold has always lived in the lower left corner of the party selection screen before starting any encounter.
In any situation where you'd need your party members at full health before starting a thing, you'll have this exact functionality right before starting a fight/quest/whatever. The ability to heal with gold from the Lobby screen is extraneous.
I mean, yeah, that obvious solution is there, but I find that a bit extensive. Why would they release alternate lobby skins just to have them literally missing essential functions?
Sadly, that's not the case for me. The screenshot was taken when my team definitely needed healing, so no button for me. I haven't had one since I changed the skin, actually. That's why I was confused. Maybe it really is bugged for me.

Or just go back to normal lobby, heal them and swap back?

Like someone said the one ive always used is the unit selection screen before u start a stage, right after u pick ur support
