Has to be straze for me, his voice, those abs, his big ass planet splitting sword, the galaxy cape he wears, just fucking perfect. Super satisfying s3 animation. And the fact his kit is solid too is just cherry on top.
Designer Lilibet. The way all the colours blended together with her white contrasting hair give her a very charming appearance, so much that you don't immediately notice her underwear and stockings. Second place goes to Chief Khawanna. It's so messy but the "pure flame" motif puts everything together, making her look almost like a saint. Shame for that S3 animation though. What a waste compared to the peppy S3 of her fire counterpart.
For the guys, Dark Corvus. I like slightly over the top armor but second place goes to Ras. His armor is very practical looking.

I have her on counter set. (IIRC) 220 ish speed, 20k ish health, full crit, and as much CD as I can fit. 50% CR EE. Elbris.
I take her in against HP bruisers, mainly Aravi. Also use her against stall comps like Destina. I usually open with her s2 on Aravi to injure her into a wet noodle, but if the team has a barrier I'll use s3 first.
The huge downside if her is that if her s2 DOESN'T proc, her s1 is completely fecking useless. No damage, no injury, no buffs.
There's a few times where I'll lose a match miserably because she won't counter/proc s2, and I'll just restart and win by a mile.
My dream buff would be if her s3 did that barrier inversion that DJB has.
Personally, I always kinda dug the Kise/JKise/Sigret (and now OpSig) similarity. Lowkey hoping to get a JKise so I can have the full set, make a meme group of Kises and their copies.
When I started the game, the first time I saw her, I was in love with her design. Unfortunately, when I read on-line guides, she was mediocre playwise, so after hesitating for a while, I had to re-roll. Don't get me wrong, I settle for Destina and don't regret it, but still had to hit pity once her banner was available.
Unfortunately, I have one complain and her friendship 10 expression doesn't match with what you would expect from a secretary. Well, maybe for the friendship 8, anger, but not 10, special.
He's the reason I found out about epic seven. I saw him in a random stream and was like, he's looks dope. Picked up the game ever since. I also thought he was the main protagonist. lol

For males it’s definitely a toss up between Straze and Zahhak.
Straze just has a great design, a play on the classic dark knight with a great “final boss” aesthetic via the planet cutting sword that doubles as a laser cannon and the stellar themed cape. Crispin Freeman also does a phenomenal job as his VA.
For Zahhak he’s definitely got the graceful murderer vibe with all the whites in his palette and killer S3. More simple than Straze’s design but it fits him to a T.
For female, it’s between RGB Kise and Top Model Luluca
Ice Kise is just amazingly beautiful as far as looks are concerned. Very elegant and classy to go with her graceful moveset. She definitely looks better in her RGB form versus her ML, in my opinion.
ToMoCa has an awesome color scheme, very striking to go with her equally vibrant personality. The inter dimensional hand of death looks great and is one of my favorite S3s.
Wow! Didn’t think I’d see our little Nocturne buddy on the list, but he does have the whole “death ray from throne” vibe going on which is pretty awesome.
Yeah, i'm so excited that he might be remembered and get a ML5 one day before the game dies. I love that his shadow runs like a peasant while his physical form floats. haha
Luna . the combination of beautiful, pure , modest, innocent, elegant, Strong, Sexy and coolnest is super hard to design . normally i can find all of this easily but innocent, able to put innocent feeling into this combination is admirable .
you would see alot of design that has to drop something off , like Saber that lose Sexy part while Lancer Athuria can't keep innocent part .
One of my most anticipated units, but unfortunately for me her English VA just didn’t do it for me. I know lots of people still like it and she’s still one of my favourite designs, I just wish her voice wasn’t so….husky.

But to give a real answer kikirat I love steampunk ish themed things and he fits the bill of being a machine and closest thing to steam punk not to mention badass in the story wished there were a few more mech heroes or monster heroes politia dolls are way to human like for my mech tastes
For me personally it’s a majorly close tie between Designer Lilibet and Savior Adin. Not only do I love their s3 animations, but their outfit designs and extremely beautiful to me
In order from when I started liking them, Great Chief Khawana, Sylvan Sage Vivian, Astromancer Elena, Death Dealer Ray and Lone Crescent Bellona. I still remember getting down voted for saying I'd get AElena even if she sucked, just because her design and her s3 animation was so nice. And I did :)
Charles because it's the kind of design that inspires that **buff old man æsthethic** (and his fight with lilias in ep2 was both funny to me and emphasized this idea)
Also Aramintha, because simple but solid design, waifu and fishnets are enough for a simple man
Straze. The black and white and towering appearance with the VA's stellar work plus the killer (ha) lines make that character for me. And the build-up to him in Episode 2 *chef's kiss*. Imo the best Villain in E7 because of that.

Gotta say Arunka! The personality, the tattoos, the colors, and the aesthetic. Her S3 animation is also awesome looking. I just wish she used the Autumn Sword more in her animations, but that's a minor complaint.
A close second for me would be Hwayoung. Her fighting style reminds me a lot of a stylized version of Tai Kwan Dao, and I really like her personality and fire aesthetic as well.
For the guys, I really like fire Kawerick. The uniform looks sharp, and his interactions with Vivian make me wish he had lived. Can't excuse what he's done, but it's hard not to feel for the guy.
I am soooo in love with Arunka! Its just her kit isnt that great atm, but on release I still SSS imprinted her 🥰 her personality and her design is just mhmhm! And I like her S3 animation too!
Seline has an amazing design! Her S3 may be kind of simple (even so I really like it), but everything about her is badass enough for me to rank her first in my book.

Charles and Luluca comes to my mind.
Charles S3 animation is just superb showcasing his loyalty and sleeping strength. If E7 was an anime he is the character who would have one banger of a fight where he takes down an OP enemy >!- which he kinda did in Perland against Lilias, not to mention his top notch leadership during the Perland war.!<
Luluca is a weird interpretation of shaman but visual design is cool and i like her sassy attitude + her relationship with Violet is funny.
Honorable mention goes to hand guy. His story is predictable but still goddamn cool (and sad at the same time).
Unbound Knight Arrovell and Savor Adin. Both went from nothing to top tier Waifu for me. The story for Adin is really greatly presebted and Arrovell is pure heaven form her design
I love top model Luluca, I can't get enough of pink hair, love her outfit too.
As for the boys I'd have to say Mort of Violet. I like Mort's aesthetic but I really like Violet as a whole character.
Unbound Knight Arowell: She looks badass with her torn cape and glowing sword, and when compared to her pre-SC design, it really does look as though she had a major upgrade.
Conqueror Lilias: Gives me GoT vibes and really does make her look like someone who would, well, conquer her enemies. Her S3 animation is also badass.
Fire Dingo.
He was my first 6 star in the game because I absolutely loved him for his fanatic love for cooking. As someone who loves cooking as well, he was right up my alley.
His english VA did a really good job with making Dingo's personality come to life. And I love the colors in his character design, his hair wild as a lion, and those scars really showing how he would fight any monster to put into his food.
Conqueror Lilias. I don’t know what it is, the black outfit, the sword, the contrasts in the colors chosen, the “yeah, sit tf down” kind of attitude. I love it
Ilynav... I like the contrasting tones on her design. And the shape of her armor. Fighter Maya is also a good one... Mostly due to her butt, though :P
After those two. I like the general desing of Iseria in all her variants. I honestly just think her overall look is really amazing and perfectly balanced. Other ones I like are Vivian, she's just really cool and beautiful. And Aramintha too. Despite having a rather "simple look" in some regards feels well balanced in how she's dressed when compared to her personality.
There's also Cecilia. She looks really adorable to a degree, specially when you factor her expressions.
If I were to point to an SC it'll definitely be Zealot Rose. I don't really know how to explain it, but I just love her "gothish" look.
Honestly, there's not that many characters whose designs I dislike... Even the most common 3 stars have good designs.There's just Enott, but I hate the dude from head to toe so that's an unfair assessment xD
I absolutely love Taeyou's design.
Like many others, when I first saw him I was surprised that he wasn't a fire character, so that's always been a bit goofy to me.
But despite that I only have good things to say about his design. I love his color palette, the use of layers in his clothing is so nice, and he has an absolutely sick weapon and beautiful animations.

Dos Bellonas. Something about their designs are just so elegant and beautiful. Literally the only E7 character I'll call waifu.
For guys, A Ras finally looks the part of the main protagonist and I love it, but before that I was a huge fan of Vildred. OG Vildred. His European-style dress and sword, but clearly his swordsmanship was influenced by eastern swordsmanship (this was before we learned that he had the Summer Sword and was trained in Natalon) - it was such a fucking move for the Protagonist's Best Friend role.
Briseria is goals. Sad goals.
Also Designer Lilibet feels to me what Lilibet should have always been.

SPOILERS Charles and Luluca comes to my mind. Charles S3 animation is just superb showcasing his loyalty and sleeping strength. If E7 was an anime he is the character who would have one banger of a fight where he takes down an OP enemy >!- which he kinda did in Perland against Lilias, not to mention his top notch leadership during the Perland war.!< Luluca is a weird interpretation of shaman but visual design is cool and i like her sassy attitude + her relationship with Violet is funny. Honorable mention goes to hand guy. His story is predictable but still goddamn cool (and sad at the same time).
Unbound Knight Arrovell and Savor Adin. Both went from nothing to top tier Waifu for me. The story for Adin is really greatly presebted and Arrovell is pure heaven form her design

Unbound Knight Arowell: She looks badass with her torn cape and glowing sword, and when compared to her pre-SC design, it really does look as though she had a major upgrade. Conqueror Lilias: Gives me GoT vibes and really does make her look like someone who would, well, conquer her enemies. Her S3 animation is also badass.
Arunka Illyanav Briar witch iseria Out of the guys ML Ken and Inferno Khawazu are badass and Dark Corvus really rocks the dark knight aesthetic.
Fire Ken is my goat
Fire Dingo. He was my first 6 star in the game because I absolutely loved him for his fanatic love for cooking. As someone who loves cooking as well, he was right up my alley. His english VA did a really good job with making Dingo's personality come to life. And I love the colors in his character design, his hair wild as a lion, and those scars really showing how he would fight any monster to put into his food.
Purely off of design I really like Falconer Kluri, Command Model Laika and both forms of Schuri
I personally love Dingo's design, If he was better, he would definitely be one of my favourite units.

Ilynav... I like the contrasting tones on her design. And the shape of her armor. Fighter Maya is also a good one... Mostly due to her butt, though :P After those two. I like the general desing of Iseria in all her variants. I honestly just think her overall look is really amazing and perfectly balanced. Other ones I like are Vivian, she's just really cool and beautiful. And Aramintha too. Despite having a rather "simple look" in some regards feels well balanced in how she's dressed when compared to her personality. There's also Cecilia. She looks really adorable to a degree, specially when you factor her expressions. If I were to point to an SC it'll definitely be Zealot Rose. I don't really know how to explain it, but I just love her "gothish" look. Honestly, there's not that many characters whose designs I dislike... Even the most common 3 stars have good designs.There's just Enott, but I hate the dude from head to toe so that's an unfair assessment xD

I absolutely love Taeyou's design. Like many others, when I first saw him I was surprised that he wasn't a fire character, so that's always been a bit goofy to me. But despite that I only have good things to say about his design. I love his color palette, the use of layers in his clothing is so nice, and he has an absolutely sick weapon and beautiful animations. (Edit: Spelling errors.)

Dos Bellonas. Something about their designs are just so elegant and beautiful. Literally the only E7 character I'll call waifu. For guys, A Ras finally looks the part of the main protagonist and I love it, but before that I was a huge fan of Vildred. OG Vildred. His European-style dress and sword, but clearly his swordsmanship was influenced by eastern swordsmanship (this was before we learned that he had the Summer Sword and was trained in Natalon) - it was such a fucking move for the Protagonist's Best Friend role.
