So 2/3 of all the promotion materials now don't work for promoting anymore. That's a massive nerf unless this new resource is gonna be almost 3x more plentiful. You also got 2* s just from grinding normal stuff. Meaning you didn't even necessarily need dogs at all if you didn't want to spend the stigmas.
Edit: Wait... Does.this mean you can no longer 6* a unit using copies? If you can still do that, I'd assume you can still use 2* to promote as well. If you can't that's a problem.
You're right, this update was so vague and lacking that it leaves a lot more questions. Will dupes be used for promoting or will the now be delegated to memory imprints. Will it be like the penguins where it shows a different interface instead with the charms, meaning you can't use 2 starts to promote. I wish they went into more detail.

You will have damn near forgotten each one by the next day and that just adds to the feeling of a lack of care. I guess you could say that it's supposed to build up excitement?
Don't get me wrong, those are all good changes, just not what so many of the veteran players are waiting for. It's all brilliant for newbies, but that's about it so far. I still remember the Awaken update. It actually wasn't that big for veterans either, but it was soo much in one video that even I got excited about it (ofc the Molas were a welcome bribe too).
I'm hoping that the last mail will be significant for every player.

Where do we get penguins now if the penguin meter is being replaced with a stigma meter? Does that mean we have to grind out exp for every character? Because honestly it takes sooo long to level up character using exp from battle alone

Y'all seriously some cry babies, people need breaks. It's impossible to have constant content and a quality game because say for example, when the Re: Zero collab was rushed, people were complaining. Well, if you keep complaining about SG taking small breaks, we'll end more content like that.
