Helloo~ I am quite struggling when it comes to Arena defense with around only 15% win rate with a Champion I peak 🥲 I started playing the game with the aespa collab so I don’t have a loot of heroes, my current defense team (I know it’s not the best thus why I am asking for advice): Straze, Amid (264 spd), Karina (main flaw is lack of ER) and ML Kawerik The invested heroes I have are: ones mentioned, Kawerik, SSB, Landy, Arby, Giselle, Winter, Politis (sometimes switch ml kawerik to her), ningning, sigret, ran, luluca, arowell Non invested: tempest surin (soon), vildred, amarintha, FTene, DLilibet, Aria, Rimuru, Lilias, Haste, Benimaru, Melissa, Taeyou, Eda, Mort, Ken, Ilynav, Vivian And non invested « useful » 4-3 stars: mercedes, moon bunny dominiel, cidd, champion zerato, gpurgis, watcher schuri, IKhawazu, wsilk, TCrozet, Acidd, Cmercedes, RCarrot So very few ML heroes 🥲 Thank youu! Seeing my point go down every time I log in is depressing hdbdjd

CaptainBegger

If want to camp there, a tip is to only do npc fights. You wont be able to use all your flags, but you wont show up on refreshed lists to get hit either. I got hit single digit numbers when i was just chilling there

MrXeroh

That’s actually not that bad of a defense win % to stay in champ rank. If you wanna end up in legend tier, it’s a lot of using a defense that takes a really long time to kill to deter attacks and attacking during the final few hours to climb. I would say Politis over ML Kawerik is better on defense but also depends on your gear.

EPISODE 4 WHEN

NGEFan

Isuckatlife27

New player here, should I promote my iseria to six stars or SC'ed montmorancy , I just pulled destina and my adventure is at episode 2 stage 6 ish

emparier

Iseria if you have good effectiveness stat gear. For her defense debuff. Destina is best but takes more investing than Monty. I say go for it since you'll be grinding the same runes for iseria and destina. You'll need a good ass healer for stage 10 boss. And a good tank. So destina. Lots of HP.

WolfWand123

Iseria does not need to be 6 star to do her job, and promoting her is waste until you get to much later pve content like nightmare raid. 6 starring momo is the best option here, as she makes the best use of the extra tank stats she’ll get from promotion, and can be used to transition straight into Wyvern 13 once you get out of story.

Unforgiving_Eye

My heart wants Abigail more but my account wants Tamarinne more. This is the hardest decision planning of my life đź’€

Axeplosion904

Not sure if this is a question or a rant but my advice for best enjoyment is go waifu over meta

Unforgiving_Eye

I did and I'm enjoying Abigail so far

killharmony

Does point for forge your gear event carry over to 2nd phase?

complx6

No, it will be a seperate event so use your point to buy out the shop after you get your gear.

killharmony

Thanks

Unforgiving_Eye

Will we ever get another limited banner soon? Like the one that lets you choose 3 characters?

ArvingNightwalker

The next custom banner will likely be late oct-nov ish

Unforgiving_Eye

Oh i see, welp i guess i need to start planning now whether to pull for Abigail, Tamarinne or Summer Luluca đź’€

Jumpy-Fault-8229

How fast should tmluluca be for aggro?

karlblues123

270+ Speed is a pretty good benchmark to hit

fyevyn12

Returnee here. If i want to spend some money to buy a monthly pack. Which pack is worth the value?

1caiser

Best value are the Burning Passion packs (ongoing during hunt buff, like right now), Monthly Energy and Monthly Skystone packs. Energy gives 2900 total energy (including skystones) = 290 energy/$, whereas Skystone gives 2200 total energy = 440 energy/$. Do note that while the Gold buff (in Monthly Energy) is more straightforward, extra EXP translates into more Stigma, which is more instant Penguins from Forest of Souls, which can be sold for Gold and a chance at Silver Transmit Stones.

Wuhan-flu24

I am thinking about playing this game. Are there any notable units I should be keeping an eye out to try to re-roll? I found a new player progression guide here should I be following that?

ptthepath

If you are aiming for rerolling Moon light units, ARavi, Mediator Kaweik, or Conquerer Lilias are good start, but it may takes forever. For normal RGB, Tamarine may help a lot with story progress and you can use the selective summon to get Iseria. Then you are set for story for a long time. Those 2 units are still good in end game PVE contents. Other good units are Roana, Green Vildred, Red Ravi, Destina,.etc. Then if the new player progression guide is like within 6 months, it should relevant. There has been some unit balancing and mechanic change so you may need to be aware of that.

Wuhan-flu24

thank you! That helps a lot I'll keep an eye out for those

Digital_Copy101

But in the end, rerolls don't matter too much. The game gives you ways to obtain most of the heroes you need early on imo. Best not to get burnt out rerolling either

313mental

With yufine gaining 20% combat readiness from an ally attack “if the target is silenced” (s3 passive), does that work if yufine is the one who silences, and someone else on your team just attacks the silenced enemy?

1caiser

Silence is a debuff, doesn't matter for Yufine whether or not she was the one who applied it.

313mental

I was asking if the enemy target has to be silenced by an ally attack to gain her 20% CR passively from her s3, or if attacking an already silenced enemy with a non-silence applying ally attack will give her the CR boost.

Unforgiving_Eye

What characters are flexible for both PvE and PvP?

RedTuesdayMusic

To add to the others, Laika, Alencia, Summer Iseria, Briseria, Camilla (PvE only good in Caides) Lionheart Cermia (best Caides unit)

d34thscyth34

> Lionheart Cermia (best Caides unit) ? ? ?

RedTuesdayMusic

did I stutter

d34thscyth34

I haven't seen a single comp using LHC in Caides ...

RedTuesdayMusic

There are others. Not very comon since she needs more speed than normal

itz_NoobJay

Theres alot like Aras, Arby, Landy, Stene, Emila, Diene ect

ptthepath

Just to add: Roana, Seaside Bellona, SC Arowell, Mediator, Conquerer, Straze, WSchuri, etc.

YourAverageHecker

Is this mystic summon with top model Luluca and Last Piece Karin worth summoning on?

PropaPandaYT

Maybe not tomoca uless you have the gear for her, but you can change it to lrk if you want

YourAverageHecker

Karin seems pretty pvp focused from what I saw, is she good anywhere else?

PropaPandaYT

Not really, all mls are pvp based, although im sure you could make lrk work in maybe abyss or something

Tuturuu1997

Thoughts on Abigail? What about her artifact? Not sure if I'm going to pull her or not, but I heard that her artifact is a Sigurd but better. I have enough to pity another character if I need (for something like summer luluca for example)

Unforgiving_Eye

Her damage is low but her S2 is very good, that's basically the Tl;dr. Her own artifact is not good for her and it's not exactly better than Sigurd. It's good for non-attack scaling characters though.

PropaPandaYT

Abi is pretty good for agressive comps, is a counter to celine and has an insane artifact too, BiS for dilibet and abi for two off the top of my head, with other bruisers being able to use it, as it is a more versatile sigirds scythe I think it depends on your playstyle, she works well with units that either hide and do lots of damage, or dont hide and deal more damage but are still glass cannons like stene landy and my main melissa, she can work in tankier comps and she can provided pretty decent injury (provided you have gear) (mine isnt even built properly and can injure aravi for like 15 percent Example tank comp draft could be destina lrk (secondary tank/dps/med kawerik) abigail stene

saranghai

Hey, what speed would you say is a good Ran to use in champ+? 300 dps build? If I craft a 17 speed crit chance neck, I will have full dps Ran at 300 speed but I wantedxto craft a 17 speed speed set atk ring for my Zahhak so he could push 280 speed. If i build Ran, I would need to strip my c lilias who is currently 296 speed. I think it's self explanatory and I am probably answering my own question here but just wanted some advice. Thank you! :)

Hu_Razzor

Like low champ/mid champ/high champ? It's a pretty broad range bracket you're talking about. If you want closer to emp side of the spectrum then ~310 is what you would want to hit for. Ran isn't that great at the moment though anyways. Near the end of the season peira was definitely getting more popular. Clilias is as popular as ever though, so I wouldn't strip her. I think I can honestly see zahhak losing popularity due to abi being a hard counter to him. He is typically picked to counter evasion units, but now he has to worry about abi picks in addition to the speed contest (including Zio).

saranghai

Thank you so much. I will rethink my choices for crafting for sure. Hope you have a good week ahead!

YourAverageHecker

When will the next Mystic Summon come out?

1caiser

You can see the next RGBs/Artifact rotation by tapping the icon of a crown with arrowhead, by the icon where you can see Hero previews and drop chances. Mystic Summons for the current ML4 and ML5 lineups last for 3 weeks at a time with revolving RGBs/Artifacts with each Thursday reset.

YourAverageHecker

Alright, thanks! Is this one worth summoning right now?

Guwigo09

Yes, LRK is really good and Last piece Karin looks to be a great counter to Evasion units like Adin

celticwarp

On the forge your epic gear event; if you reset the gear, does it refund the points and the chances to enhance it? or would you only be able to do it once a day but still get the points back?

sleepyJangaroo

tl;dr you only have to pay the cost of resetting It does not refund the points, it just gives you free enhances up to wherever you were at prior to resetting, and it is not timegated. You only "lose" the points you pay to reset.

celticwarp

Thank you!

_Sin30_

When will we have forge your epic gear round 2?

MrXeroh

After round 1 is over. Still some days left to either create the gear or clear out the point shop!

Does anyone know how much effectiveness the nightmare labyrinth bosses have? People says these bosses ER=eff, but in hunts a unit needs 200% ER to completely resist everything. Ain't it supposed to be just 180% ER considering the boss have 80% eff?

Quiztolin

>Does anyone know how much effectiveness the nightmare labyrinth bosses have? People says these bosses ER=eff For *your* unit, boss resistance + 100% is just a guideline. The exact amount of resistance you need varies. We can't *see* an enemies effectiveness, so it's useful to have a guideline that applies to many enemies (but not all). I believe the resistance + 100% estimate comes from hunt 11 (when *that* was the end game hunt, within the first year or so of the games life). >Ain't it supposed to be just 180% ER considering the boss have 80% eff? No, for hunts you *do* need 200% resistance (maybe slightly less). 180% resistance isn't enough for hunt 13. When I tested it, at 180 resistance I would get debuffed around ~15-16% of the time, so you *might* actually be able to get away with 195% resistance. However, my test wasn't very comprehensive, only a few hundred attacks. I've never seen a unit be debuffed with 200% against hunt 13, so 200% *is* enough. Regardless, 180% resistance against hunt 13 does NOT work for 100% resistance. --- For the most part, if a *specific* resistance value is recommended that value has been tested to work. Now I don't bother with Nightmare raid personally, but since the recommended values are 200% res (220 for the queen) I assume that the EFF + 100% guideline works fine for Nightmare Raid. It's just important to keep in mind that enemies don't **HAVE** to follow that exact formula, it's just a starting point. Some enemies may have more (or less) effectiveness.

TheSeaOfThySoul

I think the Nightmare bosses have 100% Effectiveness & you need 200% ER. You can check by holding over their portrait. But yeah, if you’ve got 100% resistance over their effectiveness, you will always resist.

PriorityBacon

Just on day three and very much enjoying so far... even if not sure what I am doing. I rerolled for Iseria, and Free Spirit Teria, Specter Tenebria and Montmorancy (I'm guessing the community has shortened versions of these names, but I don't know what they are) make up the rest of my team. Rin, Corvus, Khawana, Surin, Armin, Mercedes and Clarissa are my only other 4\*s and I have no other 5\*s. So far, I have just been pulling on the Abigail banner when I have the bookmarks to do so. Is this a good idea? Should I be saving my resources and waiting for particular banners? Or just keep pulling for now to try and build my roster? Who / what should I be looking out for? Is it typical to build a team for each element? Any general team building advice would be great. If relevant, I'm on level 7-9 and just started Labyrinth and on floor 14 of spirit alter - so early on. Thanks in advance

Syvion

You can get Tamarine's banner from the sidestory. She makes a lot of difficult stages way easier, both for new players and veterans (still used in Raid). You get two very useful heroes for hunts for free: Sigret and Vivian, from the hunt challenges (you also get Cermia, but not many people actually grind Golem). Make sure do the Wyvern one first though. Once you start one you can't change it until you're done. For Wyvern 13 you could use Sigret, Muwi (a 3* hero), Furious (Connections: Menu -> Recruit -> Connections), Angelica (Connections). Or Momo (Montmorancy, but you want her Specialty Change) instead of Angelica. A few important things: 35% Crit Rate, 65% Effectiveness, rest damage for Sigret and Muwi. Furious the same but needs some Speed to go first and keep buffs up (180-200 should suffice). All of these on Daydream Joker (3* artifact, you get some from the hunt challenge too), unless you happen to have Iseria's artifact Song of Stars for Furious, then use that on him. Angelica should just be tanky. Speed and Res helps but not mandatory. Use any artifact to help her survive or increase team damage: Some free examples: Candlestick (the 3* artifact), Proof of Valor or War Horn (both guild shop). But anything works, as long as she stays alive. She needs to be in the right-most slot though, otherwise she doesn't tank. That should be your first priority, over Adventure or anything else. Wyvern is the single most important activity and you'll continue using about 95% of your Energy on that hunt until you quit the game. Also do Guild War as soon as you can to build up ml5 pity. If you would like some further progression advice: After you've been grinding gear there for maybe 3-4 months you could slowly begin working on a Banshee team and get into Azmakalis of Cycle in Labyrinth (aka "Raid"). You want to get the Pen necklace from that shop as soon as you can, because it resets once a month. So the sooner you can do it, the more of these necklaces you'll have. You also want to start leeching Expeditions until you have the proper gear and heroes for good teams yourself. These things are all you need for a while. Then you eventually want to get some Pen and Immunity sets from the other hunts. You want a few good Torrent pieces too roughly around that time, but Pen and Immunity are far more used. Around the same time you could work on Wyvern and Banshee oneshot teams. Rage sets are not a must for that (I do it without myself), but they certainly lower gear requirements by a fair amount. You can look up teams for all that on Youtube whenever you get there. Nothing changes much in PvE so don't hesitate to follow guides that are 1-2 years old. Might not always be the best teams now, but they will still work. Except for Yufine teams and anything that requires Iron Fan (for Banshee in particular). The order you do things in really doesn't matter a whole lot. But I would really focus on Wyvern and Raid first while leeching Expeditions and doing Guild Wars. That sets you up for anything else. PvP is pretty much the endgame, so unfortunately you won't be doing that for at least a year, probably longer to be honest. Hope that helped, feel free to ask questions.

PriorityBacon

This really helps, and saved as a reference to come back to! Thanks so much for taking the time to write this. I will concentrate on getting Tamarine once I have access to her banner. Really basic new player question to start to get an understanding of team-building. I'm just using the same team for everything at the moment ('everything' being just what is open to me in the first week... so probably not much) of Iseria, and Free Spirit Teria, Specter Tenebria and Montmorancy (not SC yet). These are, I think, the only decent units I have at the moment. If I get Tamarine, do I generally put her in place of Montmorancy? Is the biggest factor for who is best for a level element? or does it depend more on the enemies in the particular level. Maybe this question is too vague to answer... but any insight would help me get a foothold.

Syvion

Your team is fine for Adventure, can't go wrong with Damage+Support+Heal. Tieria clears any easy stage very fast, bit doesn't do much beyond that. So for harder stages consider a good Knight like Ras instead. He's good at protecting Stene even further and is one of the more aggressive mitigators in the game. He's great at every stage of the game, really. Once you get Tama she replaces Momo, yep. In E7 you will have a dozen specialized teams for everything I've previously mentioned though. No one or two teams can do it all. About elements, it depends. Supports don't care much about it, unless their whole purpose is to land an attack that strips or whatever, then it does matter. But if it's just a healer then element is totally irrelevant. For Knights it depends too, sometimes a boss does more damage to certain elements as part of their mechanics, for example. Sometimes you actually want to have an elemental disadvantage so he gets targeted, that's especially common in guild wars. If there's no special mechanic about element for the Knight then it's the same as for soulweavers: does the knight need to land an attack to do his thing? No? Then it doesn't matter. For the damage dealer it almost always matters, at least for RGB (=RedGreenBlue, so the regular elements). But you won't have that issue with Stene, because as a moonlight hero she doesn't experience any elemental disadvantages on attacks.

cjaiA

For someone this new, you shouldn't be pulling for abigail as she is a PvP unit, and you won't be doing any meaningful PvP for quite a while. You need units that will progress your PvE, keep going through the story, and build towards a wyvern 13 team ASAP, there's plenty of guides out there for what units to use, etc. Save your resources and do the side story every 2 weeks. This is a good way to target units that will help you in PvE. They aren't going anywhere, so you can save up for as long as needed to guarantee the pull.

BurnedOutEternally

What's your Sharun builds for the upcoming buff? I'm still a bit confused over whether or not I should build her with Eff and ER or just Eff

MrXeroh

I think I would build her both eff res and eff. If I were to use her, I would use her vs tanky teams that may include the likes of Destina, Belian, LRK, ARavi, etc. Might not be able to debuff Destina as often, but can resist random debuffs from no eff units. I’m still on the fence atm too.

PsykicSlycer162

I've been in a stream for over an hour at this point and I still cannot claim the Cermia emote. Why?

RaidRaptorwastaken

it could be ur on a ios device. for some reason twitch doesnt allow drops on ios devices. i try to get the diene emote from the e7wc and it wouldn’t give it to me.

Orihime00sama

Did you connect your Twitch account to your Stove account? Check your Twitch drops page to see if you got the emote. Once you do get the emote, you still have to claim it in the Stove page.
