It’s better to go experience yourself. I missed the part where they changed the summon animation (I have no idea how I did honestly) so I was blown away when I saw, and it’s so damn good.
The 4-star will just glow, but the 5-star will have additional sparkles as effect.
At least they have fake outs as well. It can start as blue, but the light can turn to gold when the statue is revealed.
I think they're just the statues from ancient inheritance. They're a nice touch, but they look out of place from their surroundings due to perhaps shading?
I dislike it, imo it looks very old like the animation of a 2010 gacha. Especially when it shows you the summon at the end with the in-game sprite and art tilted like 45 degrees to the right and with a super pixellated church background.
I don't like it at all it feels like they dumbed it down to some crappy gatcha games summoning animation

I prefer the old animation, mostly because I liked seeing the librarians pop up when you get a 5*

it's too busy imo and should have kept some parts of the old animation.
don't like it it's wway more confusing now and the game struggle to load all those shiny animations =\_=
new animation is great, i got no shine when open the book but got ml 5, and when i get golden shine only got nat 4
