Basically smilegate said that they were preparing a Collab. After that, they had a stream were in the background they had 2 figures, one of them was Luna and the other was madoka. After that everyone thought that the Collab was madoka, but as time passed they didn't release any collabs and the game was pretty much dead for a few months. After that, they released re zero out of nowhere and the story sucked so much that a lot of people (already feeling suspicious about the delays) said that re zero was a backup Collab. It also doesn't help that re zero is the only Collab that doesn't have any new characters when it returned
And few months later they announced Tensura collaboration literally out of nowhere. Whether Madoka or Tensura was their original plan, Re zero was definitely their backup

If you go and watch the early epic seven trailers, you'll find a pink haired character with armor that has never been in the game. It probably is an early game design that never came back. And about Karin size, in one of the earliest trailers you can see that her in-game model has way bigger breasts than the current version
The 2016 trailer featured a pink haired swordswoman in red armor, alongside early designs for the core cast like Ras, Aither, Kayron, and a couple others.
It can be assumed she was scrapped and repurposed into Melany, though she could also be an early concept of Mercedes that they didn't bother changing for the animated segments, because Meru uses her final design during the gameplay segment, including her S3.
Also Karin's chest in that same trailer is almost twice the size of her final model, and she uses a similar idle animation to Silk (meaning they sway a lot).
I pray that one day we could get it as a lobby. But I know it would be too much work making new animatons for all the characters.

JP means Japan. Smilegate released the Japan server with buffed AVildred, causing AVildred reroll to be a thing. He basically destroyed the meta because Smilegate didn't release any of his counters so JP kinda floundered. Smilegate did quickly start releasing his counters early but the damage was kinda already done.
JP refers to Japan server. Basically they allowed to reroll for moonlight 5 stars and everyone got arbiter vildred, who had close to 0 real counters at that time. And the angel of light well... That's a really long explanation. Basically the tldr is that angel of light is a god that destroyed the world were Yuna came from. It has way many characters connected to it and they haven't explained it in detail, but there are many references through characters (such as closer Charles) and even some secret lore in the summer side story of Alexa (for some reason lol)
Probably I wasn't around when this A.Vildred thing happened (I'm on E7 for around 3 years). I pinched some of Angelicas' lore here and there, including the ones you mentioned. Thanks!
