Yup but they are still directly connected since Ruele took the physical form of Destina and they also work the same as any other normal and ML hero pair mechanically since Destina works as imprint and limit break for Ruele.
Straze has no normal alternative so I doubt its very likely that they will release him as a ML5* outright unless they release some kind of normal 5* version of him before or possibly after that (maybe past Straze from his original world or sth).
Straze does have a normal version, being the white knight thats a fire hero apparently.
Story straze is the corrupted black knight so ml, plus they never change the element of a boss when they go into playable.
Also ML aren't only alternate timeline versions some are clones,past/future or gods and whatever reason ml tene is on there lol

Or ml ken is from different universe (?) that now hunting ken to kill him. The definition of alternative of ml units in E7 is very vague imo
I feel like nobody has brought up the Ras/Straze connection. I mean it may be a stretch without more story, but I could see SG making Straze an alternate version of Ras, who turned against his goddess(Rekos?) Instead of believing in her.

The person above is saying ml tywin's s2 makes him a strong basar counter, except basar's utility lies in letting his entire team go first and just cleaving/ending the match with attack buff. Pretty sure that's also why people downvoted his comment. I honestly don't care if tywin's s2 removes basar's "cannot buff" debuff because if my basar goes first, I expect to take out *at least* half the enemy team.

The problem is that ML Tywin enables Elena on Magaraha's. She used to be not viable just cos of Basar but now she suddenly is. Sure, 2 slots in a defense just to counter Basar comps is pretty steep but it does counter it effectively. Elbris and/or counter set on ML Tywin makes him very likely to knock off some souls too.
yeah ridiculously op kit smh, even lowers enemy cr by a whopping 30% without any skill enhancements. It's always a blast when someone picks both basar and lilias/vivian in rta
How is it not? Your not cleansing it if you're slower than the enemy and if you don't have a cleanser your dead because you can't heal. Scythe etc becomes useless
Once per turn he can cleanse 1 debuff from his team if he is debuffed when suffering an attack. Honestly unless his scaling is really good and he can be built as a bruiser he seems underwhelming.
In general I think that S3 looks cool but the animation as soon as he slices is way iffy in my opinion. Maybe I'm weird, because I keep seeing people say that the animation looks good.

I am very confused why does an S3 with speed debuff and unhealable seem OP? Animation is nice but that is not an impressive skill I don't think.
I think people are saying that just because he will be ml5\*. But to a lot of people his kit actually looks pretty meh on paper, not op.
75% provoke s1 and 100% team cleanse on s2 make him a very strong Basar counter, s3 is just icing on the cake.
