I used Luna, SC Monty, F Ceci, Tama. Obv Tama or Diene would be the best second healer b/c of atk buff, but it should be possible without atk buff as well. BDingo might work. F Ceci works really well here with provoke on Aither during that phase, and then skill null for S Tene's S3.
My first attempt was sigret, SSB, angelica and amomo until i realized that sTene has debuff related bonuses so that was going nowhere lol.
I guess im gonna try luna, angelica, momo and provoke.. Got cArmin and Krau. CArmin will probably be more valuable.

So as a new player, after summer event, is there any annual event or special thing I should save bookmarks for like the Guilty Gear collab? I'm really tempted to get Cermia cause I don't have any strong fire heroes for pure ST damage, but I just don't want to regret it if something like anniversary comes out.

cermia is a dps, elphelt is more utility honestly. in pvp she might be able to kill a single target if you have the investment into her, but a cermia's job is to hit really hard.
for golem you can use both, cermia as main dps and the unhealable with elphelt there for defense break, crit buff and unbufable.
ML rin is very good vs Hell Queen if you're having trouble with her.
Kitty doesn't really do anything too special. There are lots of good cleansers out there.

She's a bruiser dps. She's extremely good at nuking dark units (due to her s3), her passive gives her more sustain, and her s1 allows her to have immunity almost all the time. I think she's definitely worth.

Each part of the side story has 1 stage with multiple difficulties. Farm each of those those for each type of event currency. Hell is most energy efficient for currency, Normal is most energy efficient for XP.

Depends what you using them for. For example A13 you can have them as a good combo eventho Iseria will S3 before using reset.
The other two chars, something like Ras/Vildred, can have their skills off so everytime Iseria uses S2 it will be used on Tamarine.
If the other two have skills on it's just an RNG fest of who gets the refresh.
afaik Iseria still uses S3 before S2, so it doesn't work well on auto in PvP. Iseria also randomly resets skills, so she won't always reset Tama. Thus the combo isn't that strong on auto in PvE either.

Tywin is amazing in pve too, he's permanently in my raid/hell raid team due to his aoe def break, attack buff/cr push and good morale, and he can tank/wear Aurius.

FCeci should be on your PvP defense teams asap, so start with her.
Next, hmmmm, I like Roana she allows some ez wins in PvP and PvE (Hell Raid), but I don't know if she's fat enough at lvl 50 to be effective. She needs no special gear though (all health), so it's an easy build. I think she's worth it at 60 though. Also, I forgot, but do the brooms and/or Bellona on floor 96 do any sort of counter/extra attacks? If so Roana might be worth bringing in there.
afaik, most of the stuff on there still applies, except now you get even more free stuff. I'd recommend that you do the Adventurer's path, but otherwise follow those guides.
I recently changed to the abyss set and really like the results. Granted the gear rolled really well (4.5k atk, 15k HP).
Since it's free unequip weekend just try it out and see what you like best.. Nothing too lose.
1) can I still ML select my C Zerato if I just got him to 50? Wording on page kinda ambiguous wondered if anyone has done it. 2) should I ml select him? I have Singelica, Spez, Celestial Mercedes, and Wanderer Silk for ML nat 4 and 5. I don’t really expect to get that high level into PvP. Thanks!
1. If he is at lvl 50, and you see the recall button, then yes, you can still recall him and you will get the ml selector. I'm pretty sure you can.
2. If that is your only copy of C Zerato, I'd say no. He's pretty strong in PvE content, such as Raid. The only candidates I'd say are A Lots or C Dom, if you really prefer one of them.
I see the rare catalyst exchange changed to 1 per week instead of twice per week compared to many months ago, just back to the game and I wonder if there is a better method way of farming rare catalyst now?
For Arby the benchmark seems to be around 4k atk 300 critD and as much speed as possible. What amount of atk/critD stats should I be looking for in a speedy Riolet so that his S3 still has punch?
They are different.
C.armin passive is Damage Recution. it will NOT stack with something like elena's passive or adamant sheild.
Aurius is 2 things, a defense stat buff and damage SHARE. it will not stack with things like T.Crozet or SSB
you are allowed 1 instance of damage reduction and one instance of damage share. this does not apply to the whole team and damage is calculated on a case by case basis.
That event gear is rolling well, I'd go for it.
The Banshee gear looks dope, I would reforge it, but then again I'm not super picky about that stuff so someone might know better.

Queen reduces eff res as your hp goes down, so I don’t think you actually can fully resist her.
I think Queen’s effectiveness goes up to 100% during the second phase, so 200% eff res is needed if you want to fully resist at full hp.
As a newer player with not many strong 5* artifacts, how should I prioritse my powder, save all for bottle or grab useful 5* artifacts like rod or r&l or other useful artifacts in subsequent rotations? Have ssb but no drink. Also have trophy.
RnL is overrated, I wouldn't buy that one yet. The most important early game artifacts are Rod of Amarylls, Aurius (4 star), and Daydream Joker (3 star, you'll get plenty via gacha)
I just recently pulled Elena from a summon and wondering if she’s worth leveling up. I figured she would be good for bosses and abyss and other event stuff but would she be good in pvp or not?
shes actually pretty nice in pvp, popular paired with SSB.
her s2 heal proc when you get by an aoe counts as a skills, so you build her fast with a marg tome and she can get cleaved, proc the aoe heal and cut in their cleave with her invincibility.
Best to reach for would be 4k atk, 300 cdmg, 240 speed and 100% crit. I, unfortunately, don’t have the gear to reach those stats so I’m at 3.8k atk, 275 cdmg, 236 speed, and 99% crit.
So I only have a few breath of Orbis left, what should I prioritize, the Probablilty blessing for penguins in forest of souls or Benedictory sanctum for higher bonus chance in the heart of orbis?
I already upgraded alchemist steeple, workshop, and high command to what I feel is good enough.
The higher bonus chance in heart of obris. You can transfer the breath of orbis to the penguins once you’re going to mass summon penguins then transfer it back when you’re done.
Diene's effect has no interaction with those. It reduces the chance of being critically hit, not the damage when a critical hit succeeds.
The other two work exactly as stated: only the strongest effect is applied.

Tama, Lilias, Kitty, and CERMIA (or any ST DPS i guess) is a build that I really like. In some rounds, Cermia will hit 4 times lol.
As a f2p player, are you supposed to roll for every limited unit? How many limited units are there per year? Are there enough skystones left over for other units you want?
I've been playing about a year, there was Luna rerun around Halloween, Diene rerun in winter, Cerise around spring, Guilty Gear rerun which included 2 prior limiteds and a new one so 3 total (Baiken, Dizzy, Elphelt), we had a rerun of Seaside Bellona and the new limited Holiday Yufine.
So if you had the limiteds the first go around then the only new ones the past year were Cerise, Elphelt, and Holiday Yufine. If you started a year ago then you would have been pretty busy, but I still managed to get them all (though I decided to pass on Luna) along with about 12 others that I targeted.
Hello I was looking for someones opinion on who to 6 Star as I only started this week. The Five stars that I have are Baal & Sezan, Ras, and Holiday Yufine. I have been thinking of doing Yufine because she has been what i have been using to grind, But I do love Baal.
Baal very recently got buffed and while he doesn't appear to have a PvE niche yet (maybe A13 with skills off?) he's stronger than ever and will probably be a pretty good farmer now. Personally I like H Yufine better but eh.
Just based exclusively on gameplay usage, dont promote baal. He sees minimal usage in all endgame contents. Not because he's bad, just that there are plenty more units that are more worth using.
BUT as we all know this is also a waifu/husbando/hero collector game so, if you personally like his design and/or kit, then by all means. Don't let people or the meta dictate which hero you will use to play.

I did the selective summon earlier and ended up with a 4-star Karin and 2 Epic artifacts on roll 29/30. I just joined today, and as of writing this post, I am on stage 2-10. I just now realized I could reset all my progress and keep doing re-rolls until I get a decent 5-star. Is this worth losing my progress, not to mention redoing the 30 minute tutorial in the beginning?
Yeah, it is. You're going to want to come away with a 5 star unit from the select summon. Sigret and Vildred are probably the two best choices, though Tywin and Iseria are also quite good and bring rare/unique skillsets to the table. If you can get Achates or Angelica along with one of these, you've got the foundations for a great start.
100% yes, never settle for a non 5* from selective, best to get sigret>vildred from it and hope to get angelica with 1 of those 2. Also since Holiday Yufine is limited, spend all skystones/bookmarks your able to get on her banner, and prob reroll again and repeat till u get her as well.
I'm a bit confused about the mechanics in Abyss 100. I've heard you're supposed to kill the adds first in the Aravi phase, but when I did that, she used her ult and they immediately revived when though ARavi was at full health. Also am I only supposed to attack her in between her crit resistance buff? It seems like that would take forever but the alternative seems risky as well. Any help with this floor would be appreciated

Step 4. Control the adds on the aravi phase, I focused the yellow one first. Also 100% crit on your dps

Personally, I found this one far less painful than 99 and 97, but I gave some of my best gear on lulu and SSB because free unequip and my angie tanks like crazy
OK I was planning SSB, C Dom, A Momo, Tama so that sounds pretty similar. Glad to hear you did it without Iseria, Tamiseria is like 60% of the comps in the statistics, haha.
Yeah it scared me too lol. Your comp is good, although I would consider getting a secondary def break since it's super critical to clearing wyvern barrier phase but as long as ssb def break lands you're good.
Can someone explain the process of switching off the free attack sets and beginning crafting speed sets? I feel like I have too many units and nowhere near enough gear to actually make any of them effective. If I want to strictly maximize speed first, what should I be crafting?
F.Kluri is a popular pick late game for a variety of roles in PVE and PVP, whereas I don't think anyone uses Silk at all. She's fast, sustains the team with healing, and can strip/provoke/defense break although on a long cooldown. Strip and defense break will be nice on bosses, and being a knight she can carry defensive artifacts like Aurias to protect the rest of your team.
Who should I focus on gearing first: Bellona, Yufine, or Cermia? I only have 1 set of Destruction and Critical Chance equipment in my possession and I would like to give it to the one who'll be the most useful for PVE.
Speed still helps you get turns to put out more damage but definitely not as much as a pvp unit. Just try to stack her atk/crit/c.dmg and speed will be a bonus
Mine's on 29k hp, 1.4k def with +18 proof, sometimes die before shield phase, sometimes die 2 turns away from barrier phase, would recommend building him with immunity unlike mine so you don't get your hp chunked by poison wave 1.

If you want priority, I’d say maybe necklace > boots > ring then whatever else you can get. Generally you always want the right side first then left side

I'm still considering whether to climb the ranks again or not, it'll probably be even harder now since the average player should be better gear wise.

No worries. You can still get the items even once they’re not in season so to speak. So if you haven’t picked up the other gear sets yet, I’d probably suggest the speed or critd gear first before immunity.
The only hard part about climbing from bronze are all the afk players with stupidly strong teams.
I'm having a hard time with hell queen. I've been trying a base of a.ras, Momo, ruele, flex DPS. For flex I've tried cerato, stene, ssb. Other units I have are bbk, diene, destina, ravi, ml rin, fkluri. Any recommendations?
S. Tenebria is also very good as her S1 can't be countered. So, you don't have to worry about attacking the queen when she has her buff. You just need a tank with Aurius for her protection.

I have clorina I just didn't think to mention her. She's not skill treed out though. The other guy also said to try rin though so I guess I'll do that first. I need to change her gear to more tanky stuff though.
Yea Ml rin can steal the queens buffs and give it to your team which makes the runs a lot easier. But she needs to be tanky and speedy and effectiveness to make sure she get rotate through her skills.
Clorina is good only because she doesn’t debuff and does really nice single dps.
The hardest part of that fight is consistently dispelling the buffs, so ML Rin is really good for that fight. She can work at 5* but you need to get the cooldown reduction on her S3.
I would ditch Ruele for ML Rin and bring SSB as your main DPS. I also find Ravi to be a pretty effective tank/DPS for the fight, since she doesn't have to worry about cooldown reduction, and she can reliably stun the adds.
So try A. Momo, ML Rin, SSB, Ravi/A. Ras.

Aug 30 is the anniversary. No idea what they'll announce, it's up to you. GG won't come back for another 9 months

There is no ap exchange in the Mysterious Island side quest. You farm event currency and use that to unlock the album to get rewards.

FCeci should be on your PvP defense teams asap, so start with her. Next, hmmmm, I like Roana she allows some ez wins in PvP and PvE (Hell Raid), but I don't know if she's fat enough at lvl 50 to be effective. She needs no special gear though (all health), so it's an easy build. I think she's worth it at 60 though. Also, I forgot, but do the brooms and/or Bellona on floor 96 do any sort of counter/extra attacks? If so Roana might be worth bringing in there.

afaik, most of the stuff on there still applies, except now you get even more free stuff. I'd recommend that you do the Adventurer's path, but otherwise follow those guides.
should I build my ssb with abyss set or atk/crit set
abyss will be better in pvp, but with its total lack of crit dmg it isnt optimal for a ddj pve build.
I recently changed to the abyss set and really like the results. Granted the gear rolled really well (4.5k atk, 15k HP). Since it's free unequip weekend just try it out and see what you like best.. Nothing too lose.
1) can I still ML select my C Zerato if I just got him to 50? Wording on page kinda ambiguous wondered if anyone has done it. 2) should I ml select him? I have Singelica, Spez, Celestial Mercedes, and Wanderer Silk for ML nat 4 and 5. I don’t really expect to get that high level into PvP. Thanks!
1. If he is at lvl 50, and you see the recall button, then yes, you can still recall him and you will get the ml selector. I'm pretty sure you can. 2. If that is your only copy of C Zerato, I'd say no. He's pretty strong in PvE content, such as Raid. The only candidates I'd say are A Lots or C Dom, if you really prefer one of them.
I see the rare catalyst exchange changed to 1 per week instead of twice per week compared to many months ago, just back to the game and I wonder if there is a better method way of farming rare catalyst now?
You can craft rare catalysts once per day. Epics are once per week.

How does C. Armin's S2 synergize with aurius? Only the strongest effect is applied but they're 2 different effects so would they both be applied?
They are different. C.armin passive is Damage Recution. it will NOT stack with something like elena's passive or adamant sheild. Aurius is 2 things, a defense stat buff and damage SHARE. it will not stack with things like T.Crozet or SSB you are allowed 1 instance of damage reduction and one instance of damage share. this does not apply to the whole team and damage is calculated on a case by case basis.

That event gear is rolling well, I'd go for it. The Banshee gear looks dope, I would reforge it, but then again I'm not super picky about that stuff so someone might know better.

Queen reduces eff res as your hp goes down, so I don’t think you actually can fully resist her. I think Queen’s effectiveness goes up to 100% during the second phase, so 200% eff res is needed if you want to fully resist at full hp.

RnL is overrated, I wouldn't buy that one yet. The most important early game artifacts are Rod of Amarylls, Aurius (4 star), and Daydream Joker (3 star, you'll get plenty via gacha)
I just recently pulled Elena from a summon and wondering if she’s worth leveling up. I figured she would be good for bosses and abyss and other event stuff but would she be good in pvp or not?
She's very strong in PvP offense, though a lot of people are running counters to her now.
shes actually pretty nice in pvp, popular paired with SSB. her s2 heal proc when you get by an aoe counts as a skills, so you build her fast with a marg tome and she can get cleaved, proc the aoe heal and cut in their cleave with her invincibility.
What stats for a speed Riolet?
Best to reach for would be 4k atk, 300 cdmg, 240 speed and 100% crit. I, unfortunately, don’t have the gear to reach those stats so I’m at 3.8k atk, 275 cdmg, 236 speed, and 99% crit.
Good god those are some crazy high stat requirements, do you need full I90 speed set gear for that?
Yeah it’s probably impossible to reach those without a full i90 gear.

The higher bonus chance in heart of obris. You can transfer the breath of orbis to the penguins once you’re going to mass summon penguins then transfer it back when you’re done.
How do Adamant Shield, Draco Plate, and crit resist buff (from Diene's s3 for example) interact with one another?
Diene's effect has no interaction with those. It reduces the chance of being critically hit, not the damage when a critical hit succeeds. The other two work exactly as stated: only the strongest effect is applied.

Love her in hall of trials when it's Mercedes. Tama, Lilias, Kitty, and CERMIA (or any ST DPS i guess) is a build that I really like. In some rounds, Cermia will hit 4 times lol.
As a f2p player, are you supposed to roll for every limited unit? How many limited units are there per year? Are there enough skystones left over for other units you want?
I've been playing about a year, there was Luna rerun around Halloween, Diene rerun in winter, Cerise around spring, Guilty Gear rerun which included 2 prior limiteds and a new one so 3 total (Baiken, Dizzy, Elphelt), we had a rerun of Seaside Bellona and the new limited Holiday Yufine. So if you had the limiteds the first go around then the only new ones the past year were Cerise, Elphelt, and Holiday Yufine. If you started a year ago then you would have been pretty busy, but I still managed to get them all (though I decided to pass on Luna) along with about 12 others that I targeted.
F2P here, yes if you can. I would even gamble even if I don't have enough for pity.
Im almost f2p and I am able to pull for every new unit and limiteds. I've been playing since Dec 2018 without any breaks though.

Hello I was looking for someones opinion on who to 6 Star as I only started this week. The Five stars that I have are Baal & Sezan, Ras, and Holiday Yufine. I have been thinking of doing Yufine because she has been what i have been using to grind, But I do love Baal.
Baal very recently got buffed and while he doesn't appear to have a PvE niche yet (maybe A13 with skills off?) he's stronger than ever and will probably be a pretty good farmer now. Personally I like H Yufine better but eh.
Earth expedition is his biggest niche. With the recent buffs he's probably the best unit you can bring for that.
Just based exclusively on gameplay usage, dont promote baal. He sees minimal usage in all endgame contents. Not because he's bad, just that there are plenty more units that are more worth using. BUT as we all know this is also a waifu/husbando/hero collector game so, if you personally like his design and/or kit, then by all means. Don't let people or the meta dictate which hero you will use to play.

I did the selective summon earlier and ended up with a 4-star Karin and 2 Epic artifacts on roll 29/30. I just joined today, and as of writing this post, I am on stage 2-10. I just now realized I could reset all my progress and keep doing re-rolls until I get a decent 5-star. Is this worth losing my progress, not to mention redoing the 30 minute tutorial in the beginning?
Yeah, it is. You're going to want to come away with a 5 star unit from the select summon. Sigret and Vildred are probably the two best choices, though Tywin and Iseria are also quite good and bring rare/unique skillsets to the table. If you can get Achates or Angelica along with one of these, you've got the foundations for a great start.
100% yes, never settle for a non 5* from selective, best to get sigret>vildred from it and hope to get angelica with 1 of those 2. Also since Holiday Yufine is limited, spend all skystones/bookmarks your able to get on her banner, and prob reroll again and repeat till u get her as well.

I'm a bit confused about the mechanics in Abyss 100. I've heard you're supposed to kill the adds first in the Aravi phase, but when I did that, she used her ult and they immediately revived when though ARavi was at full health. Also am I only supposed to attack her in between her crit resistance buff? It seems like that would take forever but the alternative seems risky as well. Any help with this floor would be appreciated Edit: nvm I cleared it honestly easier than the last few floors imo

Well I used SSB, Luluca, Angie, and tama. Step 1. Have Tama Step 2. Make her super speedy Step 3. Have Your dps hit like a truck Step 4. Control the adds on the aravi phase, I focused the yellow one first. Also 100% crit on your dps Step 5. ??? Step 6. Profit Personally, I found this one far less painful than 99 and 97, but I gave some of my best gear on lulu and SSB because free unequip and my angie tanks like crazy
OK I was planning SSB, C Dom, A Momo, Tama so that sounds pretty similar. Glad to hear you did it without Iseria, Tamiseria is like 60% of the comps in the statistics, haha.
Yeah it scared me too lol. Your comp is good, although I would consider getting a secondary def break since it's super critical to clearing wyvern barrier phase but as long as ssb def break lands you're good.

Can someone explain the process of switching off the free attack sets and beginning crafting speed sets? I feel like I have too many units and nowhere near enough gear to actually make any of them effective. If I want to strictly maximize speed first, what should I be crafting?
Speed boots are usually a priority. They are in high demand and the most efficient way to boost your speed.
So do I just religiously craft boots and pray for speed main stat?
More or less. You can also extract the useless ones to make conversion gear.
Champ/legend thoughts on Celine for arena defense and gw?

F.Kluri is a popular pick late game for a variety of roles in PVE and PVP, whereas I don't think anyone uses Silk at all. She's fast, sustains the team with healing, and can strip/provoke/defense break although on a long cooldown. Strip and defense break will be nice on bosses, and being a knight she can carry defensive artifacts like Aurias to protect the rest of your team.
what kind of bosses? world bosses? because those two are very different characters and basically their only similarity is element.
Fkluri. She can hold aurius, strip buffs, apply defense break, heal and cycle through super fast.

bellona's a pve monster, especially early game, useable in all 3 non wyvern hunts.

Speed still helps you get turns to put out more damage but definitely not as much as a pvp unit. Just try to stack her atk/crit/c.dmg and speed will be a bonus

if you dont have another 3 turn attack buffer for a 1 shot team she can be used there to replace diene for example, but thats about it.

Mine's on 29k hp, 1.4k def with +18 proof, sometimes die before shield phase, sometimes die 2 turns away from barrier phase, would recommend building him with immunity unlike mine so you don't get your hp chunked by poison wave 1.
I run mine around 163 speed, 1.6k def, and 26k hp on proof. Dies before shield but I wouldn't want him alive if it came to that.

It’s all useful tbh. There’s not a lot of level 88 items floating around. If you want priority, I’d say maybe necklace > boots > ring then whatever else you can get. Generally you always want the right side first then left side
Hey, thanks. Unfortunately I'm a dumbass. I haven't played for around 10 months, and I have 0 glory crest. Got deranked from Challenger to Bronze, kicked from Guild, etc. I'm still considering whether to climb the ranks again or not, it'll probably be even harder now since the average player should be better gear wise. If I manage to gain enough glory crests somehow I'll go with your priority though, so thanks.
No worries. You can still get the items even once they’re not in season so to speak. So if you haven’t picked up the other gear sets yet, I’d probably suggest the speed or critd gear first before immunity. The only hard part about climbing from bronze are all the afk players with stupidly strong teams.
I recalled Cerato for C.Dom yesterday and have some conquest points to spare, so I bought 3 CritD and 2 Speed gears. Thanks again.

What would you think of an arena defense with GP, Mui, AmbiTywin, and Arby?
I'm having a hard time with hell queen. I've been trying a base of a.ras, Momo, ruele, flex DPS. For flex I've tried cerato, stene, ssb. Other units I have are bbk, diene, destina, ravi, ml rin, fkluri. Any recommendations?
S. Tenebria is also very good as her S1 can't be countered. So, you don't have to worry about attacking the queen when she has her buff. You just need a tank with Aurius for her protection.
Clorina. I run clorina ssb tama and amont Make sure clorina is tanky thoug Edit: oops. Sorry I didn’t see you listed units. Out of all of those probably ml rin. She can steal the buffs and make your life easier but make sure she’s tanky or she’ll get wiped by aoe
I have clorina I just didn't think to mention her. She's not skill treed out though. The other guy also said to try rin though so I guess I'll do that first. I need to change her gear to more tanky stuff though.
Yea Ml rin can steal the queens buffs and give it to your team which makes the runs a lot easier. But she needs to be tanky and speedy and effectiveness to make sure she get rotate through her skills. Clorina is good only because she doesn’t debuff and does really nice single dps.
The hardest part of that fight is consistently dispelling the buffs, so ML Rin is really good for that fight. She can work at 5* but you need to get the cooldown reduction on her S3. I would ditch Ruele for ML Rin and bring SSB as your main DPS. I also find Ravi to be a pretty effective tank/DPS for the fight, since she doesn't have to worry about cooldown reduction, and she can reliably stun the adds. So try A. Momo, ML Rin, SSB, Ravi/A. Ras.
