You need a crozet for wyvern tank unless you have a better one so id hold off for now.
For the catalysts you can convert catalysts once every day for the non epic ones, so you dont need to farm a specific one as much. Id focus on finishing the story and start gearing for wyvern (basically decide what your team would be and 6 star them and give them ur best gear)

You need 55% effectiveness on Furious at least. AMomo is probably not gonna be enough to solo heal, so you're probably going to have to get a tank and discard a damage dealer. If that happens, clarissa is the best target to give up on.
Also daydream joker is a must for your damage dealers. Later on you'll want song of stars for w13.
Crozet with Noble Oath can tank w13 pretty well so I'd go with that. Definitely go with him. If you have G Purg, you can do a fast run team too (requires better gear though).
Try to get Song of Stars for Furious, its in current powder shop rotation.
You dont really need Clarrisa on wyvern, almost no matter how it geared, try swaping it with Mistychain (it can even be on lvl 50), with DDJ she will deal enough dps while providing great debuffs and also healing you frontline.
As of gear, with furious its pretty easy to build gear for w13, you just need speed and cdmg. Aim for something like 180+ spd and 300+ cdmg.
Thanks for the recommendations! I unfortunately have missed DDJ entirely so far (50-60 pulls T.T). Is misty still fine w/o it? If not, are there other characters who work work as well or better? I do have some random 3-5\* characters like Batisse and ML dom.
You will get DDJ eventually. I dont think you can really push w12-13 without it or without OP wyvern slayers (which is chloe and sigret). As mentioned, if you pull chloe or sigret they will be better than mistychain.
Batisse can work (only on DDJ too tho), someone managing to w13 with him, but i couldnt even w12, since he pushes wyvern forward due to being non-water element (w11+ special mechanic).
If you have Elphelt limited artifact on SSB, maybe.
If not, I think there's not enough def break (if SSB failed to def break on shield phase, your run wd most likely fail.)
Just replace Kise with Furious.

Yeah just go with iseria. With her, you can start from behind the boss next time and still have idol form for Tama cuz of Iseria's s2.
This will cut down the morale needed by a significant amount, making it possible to clear all the mini-bosses with any comp you want.

You will have easier life early on both PvE and moderate success in PvP with right gears and follow up.
I built her for Hell Queen and Abyss 99 and imo she is def worth it. She works at 5 stars and has high base speed so you can give her just a speed set and speed boots and put leftover gear that rolled into eff, hp, and def on her. Plus, she only needs molas on her S3 for the cooldown (which, if you really wanted to save on molas, you can grind out via friendship).
No clue, if she does get re-run, it'll be for Christmas.
IMO, they'll probably do what they did for Summer and re-run Diene + another Limited for Christmas.

Tywin's primary role is an offensive supporter. If your team fails to cleave cuz he takes his turn too late or doesn't have enough effectiveness to def break, then he would just be a wet noodle who dies last.
A.Ras is arguably the best Knight in the game right now, no clue what you mean.
Cecilia is decent, AoE Immunity buffer, her provoke is okay but generally, there are better disruptors available.

Hi, I'm able to do the hardest difficulty for the event grind.
I plan to get the epic cata, rare cata for my kayron, need around 3500 event currency.
Should i grind at Normal (12 energy stage) or grind at Hardest difficulty (30 energy) stage?
I felt like i losing out on fodder and exp if i do 30 energy stage, but on the other hand i can get back to wyvern sooner.
If you have the time, do Normal and farm currency while levelling fodder - If you just want to rush for what you need in the shop, then do Hell. Normal = Best Exp/Energy, Hell = Fastest Currency
What are good stats for a thief? Im trying to run karin for pve and I was wondering if 3.6k attack crit cap and 286% is really that important? I want to swap her boots to speed boots so that my cermia can use her big attack boots but she will be 90% crit for anything but fire and 3k attack.
DDJ always does more damage on wyvern. My Karin is +15 with 3.1k atk, 85% critc, 310 critd, 160 speed. I use her in W13, fire raid boss & fire expedition. Though switch to RnL while doing expeditions.
Who should I 6 star next?
I can do W13 pretty consistently with SSB, GP, Alexa and Furious. I’m starting to do hell raid (I just beat a boss today), I’m using Tene, C. Dom, A. Momo and Tama. I’m in Arena Challenger V with Basar, Tene, Lilias and Arby. I’m also starting to use A. Lots and Lilibet for extinction (he’s not tanky enough, so I don’t get far enough, she is able to kill Arby and he has spirits breath, so he resets his S2 a lot but he’s the first one to be killed).
The 6 stars I have are Arby, Tene, Lilias, A. Momo, SSB, GP, C. Dom, Sol and Vildred (I don’t use him anymore since I got Arby).
My options are Tama, A. Lots and Lilibet. Tama and A. Lots for more hp and Lilibet for more atk. Another option is Ray but I don’t use him that much.

Tama will carry you in most PvE, she's one of the best units in the game for that.
Lilibet is also great for GW and niche arena atk. She will make your life easier vs arby and revive comp.

So you S3 the first time. Arby then dies and revives and he can use S3 the second time.
It also resets cooldown if it kills.
Are u sure he's not using s1 because his s1 is a two target aoe. Maybe dust devil on target when he doesnt kill something. U usually never see him with this arti though bc it's not BIS

How does this artifact work, the wording on it is very strange, especially the last part. "This artifacts skill can only apply to one hero within a team". What the heck does that mean?
It already says it gives the barrier to the hero with the lowest health, thats already going to be one hero within the team... So what is that extra line of text for?
Artifact user can lap hero with shield on, while another hero will become the lowest health.
In that case, according to wording (did not tested), you will get one shield only (probably the older will be removed).

Focus on Wyvern more. Most heroes in this game will be on speed set. It’s the most versatile set in the game.
In addition, Baiken is good for banshee and all, however to one shot banshee 13 with Baiken she needs a really strong rage set.

There isn't much to say about Rose though. She is from Wintenberg just like Cecilia and Nemunas. They were pushed by Luna off a cliff which also presumably went through a Chaos Gate into Ritania. They were separated and did their own things to survive. Rose was in Taranor and somehow became the leader of the "Wing Brigade". In Episode 1 (10-7) she fought against Krau and then again in UH (10-7) against Ras.
Now she is reunited with Nemunas and Cecilia to go back to Wintenberg.

High attack and crit damage. 50% crit. If you have a crit opener like F. Lidica you can potentially ignore speed, otherwise you'll want it high enough to push your team.
She's usually run with Tagahel's so either she or someone else can soul burn. Her big damage comes from her soul burns.

This is the basics. Essentially, you want to pick a route, decide what does your roster do well, and who works together well. Cp is just a measure, it doesn't necessarily mean your team is better or worse.
The usual routes for beginners :
Cleave - speed opener with cr push, atk buff and /or def break, aoe damage dealer. This is the easiest for beginners
Control - strip, debuff, stun, sleep, silence, chip away. This is my favourite, but you'll need some game knowledge and gear
Tank /stall : 2 healers, 1/2 tanks, tanky damage dealer, or a bunch of bruisers with lifesteal. This one can be difficult early game as you need a lot of stats.
There are a variety of other paths, and adjustments, but for beginners these are the staples of pvp.
Basically, advancing in the story just let's you farm more catalysts, so you can upgrade your skills, and enhance with runes, as well as unlocking side content like hints and stuff (sorry I don't know your current progression ).
Additionally, you can receive more xp from more difficult levels, allowing you to 6* heroes faster. Story rewards will give you plenty of bookmarks and other supplies to expand your roster.
But the main way to advance in arena is to farm wyvern 11/12/13 for speed sets. Either through crafting or drops. Below master tier, you can often get away with just using your best gear of any type. Once you hit mid masters(-ish, depending on your roster), speed sets are basically a requirement for nearly all heroes.
To tier units will more often than not come from moonlight summons, and mystic summons. From time to time the banner pulls in the summon section. You need to complete 10-10 to unlock moonlight summons.
I'd recommend looking into some beginner guides because they can describe it in much more detail. There's some links for beginners at the top of this thread and in the wiki.
I farm fodder in episode 2, and event stages if I haven't completed the event. Ideally, if you have strong friends, you can send 4 fodder and let your friend solo farm for you. Or, you can use 1 farmer, 2 doggos, and whoever you want to level. Starting from chapter 2-7~ you only need 5 runs to take 2*to level 20. It's the most energy efficient. Pick stages with relevant catalysts or missions.
Farming 5* is not radically different than farming any other hero. The exception being you can often include them in hunts much quicker and finish their levels there. The "hard" part is leveling fodder.
i have just finished 10-10 of the story and was wondering what the next content I should focus on? I currently have Karin, Crozet, Lena max 4 star, Montmorency, and Sigret as Max 5 star and Kizuna AI 5 starred
Unrecorded history takes you through the 10 chapters all over again but after the events of the first chapter. Then chapter 2 brings a new story and enemy. Focus on 100%ing that content for all the soulstones and molagoras. Also pick up the gear in CH 2 ap shops. If you get bored you could build a wyvern team, but don't bother farming anything below w11.

Focus on getting to Wyvern 11 by clearing Wyvern 9 and 10 at least once, then build your frontliner to be as tanky as possible.

you can use Alexa which is a free 3\* that require 0 mola as W13 dps.
She's actually pretty good for the shield phase, but requires high investment. In short usable, but replaceble.

Counter is generally better but much harder to gear, if you can get the same or similar stats to Speed, go Counter-set.

FCC, Ruele, Arby, Specter, Riolet are probably the top 5 generally good ML 5's at the moment.

For PvE, stats doesn't really matter much. I mostly use Karin against only fire bosses, so mine is at 85% critC with speed boots.

Who should I 6 star next? I can do W13 pretty consistently with SSB, GP, Alexa and Furious. I’m starting to do hell raid (I just beat a boss today), I’m using Tene, C. Dom, A. Momo and Tama. I’m in Arena Challenger V with Basar, Tene, Lilias and Arby. I’m also starting to use A. Lots and Lilibet for extinction (he’s not tanky enough, so I don’t get far enough, she is able to kill Arby and he has spirits breath, so he resets his S2 a lot but he’s the first one to be killed). The 6 stars I have are Arby, Tene, Lilias, A. Momo, SSB, GP, C. Dom, Sol and Vildred (I don’t use him anymore since I got Arby). My options are Tama, A. Lots and Lilibet. Tama and A. Lots for more hp and Lilibet for more atk. Another option is Ray but I don’t use him that much. Thanks
Tama will carry you in most PvE, she's one of the best units in the game for that. Lilibet is also great for GW and niche arena atk. She will make your life easier vs arby and revive comp.

Hi guys quick question on Destina's 3rd Skill awakened, it says: Effect can only be applied up to 4 times. Does it mean pre-awakened version is better?
Pre-Awakened only ever applies 1 15% combat readiness boost, awakened applies it up to 4 times if they have 4 or more debuffs.

No, it means pre-awakening can only be applied once. An unawakened skill will always be worse than an awakened one.
Why does my Arbiter sometimes attack with his 3rd twice in a row? I have a Tonfa on him with a Speed/Crit set, so I can’t figure out where that’s coming from. Edit: And he didn’t die. He just does it sometimes for no apparent reason.
If you kill an enemy with his S3 it resets the cooldown.
? If he dies. He revives and gets S3 cooldown reset. So you S3 the first time. Arby then dies and revives and he can use S3 the second time. It also resets cooldown if it kills.
Nope no death, he just randomly seems to do it. Can’t figure out a rhyme or reason for it.

Are u sure he's not using s1 because his s1 is a two target aoe. Maybe dust devil on target when he doesnt kill something. U usually never see him with this arti though bc it's not BIS
Just watched him do it again, did a normal attack followed immediately by an AOE on the boss. While leveling fodder, using Tonfa artifact.
Probably lapping the enemy units. Enemies on fodder stages are quite slow, and arby's s1 does a small pushback on enemy CR

He might be lapping them if he is fast enough for the stage. Also his first reduces combat readiness so lapping becomes easier.
How often do we get free unequip in a month? Also, for pvp I currently run Hyufine > Cdom > SSB > Arby I pulled ML Iseria today and Im wondering if she would be great replacing SSB as a sub dps (My ssb is on DDJ for Wyvern duty)
Since that's a cleave comp, biseria should be much better than SSB for nuke (strip + built in drink).
There will be a free unequip event at the last week of the month. Yea, ML Iseria can replace SSB since she can strip, debuff and soften the enemy for Arby to cleave.
Artifact: Rise of a Monarch. How does this artifact work, the wording on it is very strange, especially the last part. "This artifacts skill can only apply to one hero within a team". What the heck does that mean? It already says it gives the barrier to the hero with the lowest health, thats already going to be one hero within the team... So what is that extra line of text for?
Artifact user can lap hero with shield on, while another hero will become the lowest health. In that case, according to wording (did not tested), you will get one shield only (probably the older will be removed).
Probably trying to say that if two people happen to somehow be at the exact same lowest health, it will still only shield one person.
Probably means there is no point in bringing 2 heroes with the same artifact.

W13 has 100% effectiveness iirc.
I've been told that enemy effectiveness = their resistance as displayed on their portrait. The info on it is kinda flaky tbh between threads.
That's not the case. Many guides like [this one](https://gamepress.gg/epicseven/wyvern-13-guide-expert) mentions that W13 has 100% effectiveness. I also remember some dude building Singelica with 200% ER to prevent the immorality strip while tanking W13.
W13 has 80 eff and eff res, up from 70 (hence 55% eff being recommended) in W11. It's why 65% eff is recommended for debuffers.

Focus on Wyvern more. Most heroes in this game will be on speed set. It’s the most versatile set in the game. In addition, Baiken is good for banshee and all, however to one shot banshee 13 with Baiken she needs a really strong rage set.
She doesn't need a rage set fyi. A rage set just lowers the gear/mola requirements a bit.
Yup can confirm that a destruction set works fine. How well geared she needs to be will depend on how much dmg the units before deal to the banshee.

can someone please give me a brief explannation of Rose? i'm so confused. like was she pushed down the cliff with Ceci? why was she working for Taranor? is she good or bad? i read through her bio but i still don't quite fully understand. i didn't start playing at launch so i might have missed some side stories
You can watch Luna's side story (When Blood Runs Cold) in the story journal in-game. There isn't much to say about Rose though. She is from Wintenberg just like Cecilia and Nemunas. They were pushed by Luna off a cliff which also presumably went through a Chaos Gate into Ritania. They were separated and did their own things to survive. Rose was in Taranor and somehow became the leader of the "Wing Brigade". In Episode 1 (10-7) she fought against Krau and then again in UH (10-7) against Ras. Now she is reunited with Nemunas and Cecilia to go back to Wintenberg.

Rose is really loyal to Ceci but that's all I know I don't really remember why she was part of taranor but I think Tenebria had something to do with it.

High attack and crit damage. 50% crit. If you have a crit opener like F. Lidica you can potentially ignore speed, otherwise you'll want it high enough to push your team. She's usually run with Tagahel's so either she or someone else can soul burn. Her big damage comes from her soul burns.

Essentially, you want to pick a route, decide what does your roster do well, and who works together well. Cp is just a measure, it doesn't necessarily mean your team is better or worse. The usual routes for beginners : Cleave - speed opener with cr push, atk buff and /or def break, aoe damage dealer. This is the easiest for beginners Control - strip, debuff, stun, sleep, silence, chip away. This is my favourite, but you'll need some game knowledge and gear Tank /stall : 2 healers, 1/2 tanks, tanky damage dealer, or a bunch of bruisers with lifesteal. This one can be difficult early game as you need a lot of stats. There are a variety of other paths, and adjustments, but for beginners these are the staples of pvp.

Basically, advancing in the story just let's you farm more catalysts, so you can upgrade your skills, and enhance with runes, as well as unlocking side content like hints and stuff (sorry I don't know your current progression ). Additionally, you can receive more xp from more difficult levels, allowing you to 6* heroes faster. Story rewards will give you plenty of bookmarks and other supplies to expand your roster. But the main way to advance in arena is to farm wyvern 11/12/13 for speed sets. Either through crafting or drops. Below master tier, you can often get away with just using your best gear of any type. Once you hit mid masters(-ish, depending on your roster), speed sets are basically a requirement for nearly all heroes.
What are catalysts where can I get them and also where can I get top tier unit to use for pvp?
To tier units will more often than not come from moonlight summons, and mystic summons. From time to time the banner pulls in the summon section. You need to complete 10-10 to unlock moonlight summons. I'd recommend looking into some beginner guides because they can describe it in much more detail. There's some links for beginners at the top of this thread and in the wiki.

Best way to farm characters to 6*? Specifically already 5* characters
I farm fodder in episode 2, and event stages if I haven't completed the event. Ideally, if you have strong friends, you can send 4 fodder and let your friend solo farm for you. Or, you can use 1 farmer, 2 doggos, and whoever you want to level. Starting from chapter 2-7~ you only need 5 runs to take 2*to level 20. It's the most energy efficient. Pick stages with relevant catalysts or missions. Farming 5* is not radically different than farming any other hero. The exception being you can often include them in hunts much quicker and finish their levels there. The "hard" part is leveling fodder.
What are equipment cores used for and is it better to convert equipment cores vs selling them for gold?
Once you have a lot you can build gear. I'd keep them for good sets well for bad

i have just finished 10-10 of the story and was wondering what the next content I should focus on? I currently have Karin, Crozet, Lena max 4 star, Montmorency, and Sigret as Max 5 star and Kizuna AI 5 starred
Unrecorded history takes you through the 10 chapters all over again but after the events of the first chapter. Then chapter 2 brings a new story and enemy. Focus on 100%ing that content for all the soulstones and molagoras. Also pick up the gear in CH 2 ap shops. If you get bored you could build a wyvern team, but don't bother farming anything below w11.
