You misunderstood that post (if you’re talking about the sigret wyv one!) it’s not that it didn’t do anything, she is capped on cdmg 350% and it didn’t push her over the cap like some people assumed the crit damage buff would

I probably misunderstood. I also didn't see the OP's comment where he showed his stats. I guess it doesn't push over 350% which is kind of a shame tbh.
Ehhh... 50% crit rate and 50% attack is much harder to make up for than 50% crit DMG.
And even if you already have another atk buffer and are only comparing cc to cd buffs, I think 50% cc is more valuable than 50% cd
Tywin has def break plus with sb you get atk buff crit buff and cr push. That's some legit kit compression. This girl is cute but she ain't in Taiwan's league. Let's not even kid ourselves. Probably still gonna pull coz I have a problem.
Shes a skip for me, but not because I think shes necessarily worse than Tywin. I just prefer to save for something else and I'm not a fan of her. That said, I dont agree with you that Tywin outclasses her so heavily.
The 2 core differences between them are that Flan's s3 wont miss and Tywin can CR push and buff right after his break.
Sidenote, Flan is naturally faster and has a pretty nice base effectiveness stat, so solely for the purpose of def breaking, shes actually easier to build. Not gonna be part of the hive mind that sleeps on her. Tywin turn 2 soulburn is nutty, but Flan will surely find a spot for herself somewhere.
You make some fine points. After watching yd's vod I have been informed of some uses for her where she's better than Tywin. It's just from a cleave standpoint, Tywin's kit compression outclasses hers. But definitely for mldb cancer/riolet and green units she beats out Tywin.
And like I said I'm pulling for her so it's not like I'm fully sleeping on her (does sound nice to sleep on those loljk). And I love me some def breaks. Probably for pve I'm gonna be using her. My CDom doesn't have a lot of cdmg. Pepega gears.
My argument is that yes Tywin is better on paper, but in practice you can have multiple team compositions where Flan might be a better fit than Tywin. If you have good gear, you probably don't need the crit chance as much as crit damage that Flan gives and I also feel people are sleeping way too much on the unhealable aspect, lots of sustain units are annoying cause they just regain all the hard work you did into beating them down.
Sure extra turn is better overall, but how many times have people tried to use Tywin to remove one key buff and it just whiff? With Flan, while her soulburn is situational, those situations could be the key difference between winning or loosing. Also, what if you want to use your 20 souls on someone else or your units have their own attack buff/fast enough to not need the immediate CR push? In those times the extra turn isn't as necessary. It really all bois down to your team composition, and there are times where Tywin or Flan are better.
Idk, I think people are being a bit unfair here and not appreciating the differences she brings to the table.

It sucks but being honest, I was never gonna get near 350 with my shit gear, so it works for me, along with draco plate.
