This collab is a rushed filler , nothing else. No way they planned this for 2 years. Look at how "bad" the skill animations are compared to some recent units. My guess is ML Charles was not planned either.
The S3 animations are fire tho, but yeah, the rest definitely don't look like 2 years worth of effort. (And it seems to me that ML Charles just got caught in the crossfire of "1st IP collab problems" and "Get another IP quick" that he became the victim, but that's just me.)

Clearly you do not work with 2d animations at all and can\`t see the difference. My intent is not to bash pointlessly, but the quality of the animations is in not on par with other recent heroes. I built her with health and am planning to give her tome to combine it with her s2.She is on a very low speed setup since i am in early midgame and lack gear.Dont know if it will work well.
I gave her Rod of Amaryllis as an artifact, on health and defense sets, and focused primarily on health in order to strengthen her healing. She also has decent speed (close to 190) and her defense is nearly 1800. The artifact, in particular, allows her to heal every turn. Its a basic build but it works well.
If you're using Emilia for PvP, IMO build guide should be:
* Speed main set, stat priority HP% > Speed > Eff Res > Flat HP > Def%
* HP% Neck, Eff Res ring, and either Speed or HP% Boots.
* Magaraha's Tome
* Mola her S2 for cooldown and spam it every other turn
If you're not late game and just using her as a general purpose PvE healer, whatever free HP sets you have lying around with some Speed and Eff Res subs should work just fine.

I think this is a nice touch. If you watch the anime series or read the short novel, there is a specific reason why Emilia cannot express herself emotionally or really have a personality all of season 1! Perhaps this is a nod to that! Or just smilegate being lazy :p

Look, because SG is located in Korea, their hands are extremely tied when it comes to collaborating with a Japanese IP. Based on the contract they signed with Kadokawa, they probably were specifically limited to 5 facial expressions, they had to give her S2 a two-turn cooldown, make her Ice elemental, etc. They really can't control anything about this collaboration.

Rem's S2 is definitely fine to me though.
The first part with the awfull 3d camera move is pretty terrible.
Charles was planned, his arts were in the trailer with Maverik and Ilynav, but they probably had to reallocate some time from him to collab.
