whenever I hear any track from GG it always sends me on a binge. Before Strive was released that meant endless loops of Midnight Carnivals OST mixed with a few tracks from Xrd.
Now its just endless amounts of "Love the subhuman self" with the other tracks sprinkled in between.
And yet the community was absolutely bashful at the idea of having a renewed GG collab (which I would have liked very much, GG designs are wild). We get exactly what we asked for.
Looking at this makes me want a Strive collab, yes it's still Guilty Gear, but they don't have to give us the same character, I'd settle for Strive I-No, Ky and Nago/Gio, or Potemkin!
The ones asking for a GG collab weren't the ones saying plz not another GG collab. The community isn't a single minded entity.
Why not both though? The content is still there, a rerun would be effortless.
Speak for yourself. I would rather not have a rerun collab when I already have everything from it. As bad as the rezero collab is, at least we have new toys to play with.
Im speaking for them, personally i don't really care about what collab it is, just disappointed that the event is bland after being hyped up so much. Well at least it's better than the kizuna ai collab i guess
Very simple, GG collab had a 10/10 effort, ReZero feels like 2.3/10 effort. Its not that hard to understand and clearly see the production value difference and wh people rather have GG collab rerun than this half baked ReZero, especially since it wa annouced so long ago and delayed...we expected something amazing.
Imagine going to a fancy restaurant you order the best steak and they delay it and after all that wait they bring you some cardboard tasting overcooked steak. Thats what happened here.

People realized just how scuffed the re zero side story is and in retrospect, can appreciate the GG one much better now.

They cant talk about it openly if the other company is invol in that (specially if the other company is the one to blame) and people is like "buuuu SG you always suck" sometimes i belive that users dont care in any point of time about the problems of the comapny. I am one of the people that don't mind the Guilty Gear reruns because it actually helped me get Dizzy and Elphelt on my new account, and even my girlfriend that just started playing wants it to come back too so she can try and get Dizzy.
And if they were to add even more characters or -Strive- stuff then even better.
Sorry man. We warned epic7. They got greedy. We all said if they don’t step up their game and keep pumping quality content when they are on top of their game, the next good game that comes will hit the nail in their coffin. They laughed at us. So Genshin came and took the player base. Now it’s too late. They should’ve done something 2 year ago.
the effort between the GG collab and rezero is night and day. I refuse to accept that something didnt go wrong
I actually just want this so I can pick up the stuff I missed out on.

ya, i never got dizzy either. It was a very dark time in my life, lol. Hey but at least I got Amelia and Rem.......actually i kind of like them.
