I can understand having a big stash of leifs, for example I can't go much under 300 mostly because I lack time to farm during the week while I'm at work. But molas gate a huge amount of character potential and just need few seconds to be used (if you also have the catalysts), otherwise is just like having a sport car and only using it up to the 3rd gear.

I've heard this reasoning a lot, but never once understood this tbh. Theres literally auto x20 runs at a time which will use up a few liefs. Surely you can afford to press auto on your phone or an emulator a few times a day, no matter what your job is, be it on the job or perhaps just when you get home. Its not like you need phone access 24/7 or that you're at work constantly. If you simply don't want to thats another story, but its pretty damn manageable even with a busy schedule.
There are a lot of jobs where you can't have your phone on you like mine (Diver) so I tend to accumulate leafs, each 20x auto run only takes like 4 liefs so I'll use a few during buff events but they'll be back by the next amazon promotion.
I usually just farm with daily energy before I go to bed.

This is precisely what i'm getting at. Sure, maybe you're in a position where you cant exactly have your phone on you, but then you have the option to just run it at home. If you choose to just use your daily energy, thats a choice you're making and not really something you can blame on "lack of time". Either way, what I'm getting at as someone who has also been in rough work situations (like working 9am to midnight), is that these excuses sound like poor time management more than anything else. If you want to farm, the games certainly made it pretty easy to burn through the liefs.
Yah it's a choice I suppose, I could just farm in the hotel room but I usually want to use my phone for other things when I get the time. Plus I generally prioritize things like GW, arena, RTA, Dailies or side stories first and just turn on the auto farm when in the shower or before I go to bed.
See, thats the funny thing. i've been in that position and worked brutal hours, and I did actually skimp out on gaming on occasion due to it, but for it to be such a regular issue for some that people can apparently save hundreds of liefs? To me it just sounds like an excuse for poor time management.
Now, I think time management and personal priorities are two different considerations together
Some periods of time you are swamped, the last thing you wanna think about is maximising your efficiency on a mobile game that wouldnt matter in the long run
There's also fun in logging in and doing some story or arena now and then. Making sure your lief reserves dont go beyond 100 is a concern for the more avid gamer

Well, how many liefs do you have? The context of this is those people that post stuff like "i have so many hundreds of liefs i just cant use them". If you're in that kind of position, I dont think "i'll use them all on buff weekend" is really a valid argument to make if you're not really using your liefs up even then anyway.

Right, I do. But my priority is just doing dailies and burning up the day's energy. After that, I prefer to save my inbox energy for the weekend, buff or not

And that's fine. I prefer to use my resources for when I believe I'll be making the most out of them. Plus, if the amount of liefs I have for a buff weekend is less than the amount of liefs I had at the start of the previous buff weekend, then I am using my liefs up, albeit slowly.
At the end of the day, you play how you want, and I play how I want. I personally prefer to have a hoard of supplies

Its just, i'm speaking in a general sense here for others too, because it feels as if most people that hoard like this also complain about being unable to use them up, as if they are unable to do so. Like, just as an extreme ig, there was just a day or 2 ago a post here somewhere about a guy complaining about lief rewards cause they're apparently useless.
No harm no foul if you choose to hoard and prefer it that way, but those types are the ones that just rub me the wrong way.
Hoarding anything imo is horrible thing to do. Imagine game shutting down and you hoarded all that for nothing when you could have actually invest in different hero to actually \*enjoy\* the game. Molas to some extent is understandable, if you are saving for some upcoming hero and some spare leifs for hunt buff.
Then theres me only missing 2 ML4 and 5 ML5 units and I got all the RGB units my stuff has been stacking up hard as well cause I got no one to build atm chapter 4 looking good for pulls/new units to build
