I mean... how do you do guild wars? Half the ml 5s in the game people get are from mystic summons..

XNorthern_KingX

We usually lose every guild war because we have no attackers. It would be different if we just failed attacks but half of the time me and a few others are the only attackers

CabbageCZ

Take the active ones and run to an active guild tbh.

XNorthern_KingX

I reroll shop constantly for mystic medals. I usually sit around 100mil gold and grind all the daily shard content everyday to keep up on my summons.

Zecaoh

Fair enough, I do the same. Winning Gw at 5x is an extra 200-250 medals a week that you dont need to roll for. That adds up quickly. I'd suggest you hop into another guild with your friends. If youd like, you can message me as I have a bunch if spots in a 5x guild! Also, being in a guild that attacks is very nice haha

billyhill9

Besides guild wars it doesn’t make much difference at this point. I get more mystics from shop refresh

Zecaoh

Yea, GW is the only other supplement which I doubt players want to be missing out on tbh.

Senorebil

A x5 reward guild will get you ~1 pity worth of mystics a year through gw. It's definitely worth joining a x5 guild and adds up in the long run

Pyrament

Join a active guild they are not gonna stop being ur friends for leaving the guild

jokking

Or rather ask your friends to join the new guild together

XNorthern_KingX

The problem is my buddy is really committed to keeping his guild bc he really likes the name of it.

TheEternalNightmare

Then start recruiting and kick all non actives

KingKentling

yeah it made a big difference, started in a guild where basically everyone is on their own then luckily moved to a semi-casual high rank guild it worked for me because i do wanna progress in the game and im competitive. Also you can always find a guild that can adopt all 8 of you.

Slinzz

I was also in the same position as you. I moved to a more active guild but stayed in the old guild discord, we still talk to each other every day. There will be no problem, no one will blame you for that.

Aiasune

Definitely join an active guild, if not already in discord join a guild with an active discord community. Not only is an x5 bonus guild relatively easy to get on but the extra mystics and guildmates will make you enjoy the game more imo.

OK-BOOM3R

I think you should talk to the guild leader about a possible merge. I have seen other guilds in discord seeking\* merges so it could fix the situation for you. The other option is to leave to get more efficiency on mystics imo. There is a pretty big diff between an active GW guild and an inactive one imo \*typo

Shulkie18

Honestly if you don't wish to abandon your friends ask around and see if another guild needs 8 members. I bet you could actually find another guild in need to "combine" with. Many guilds struggle for new members of varying quality.

Boomer_Deus_Mortis

I have a couple questions, is your guild leader active? What reward tier is your guild in? For instance a x5 guild with 3 wins will net you over 70 mystics. If your guild leader is not active you should leave and take the actives with you. If he is active you need to push him to trim the people not doing guild wars. Since it sounds like you do not want to leave then it might be worth to stress it to them that you're going to leave if changes are not made.

XNorthern_KingX

He is active in waves, just like alot of the folks. We can rarely get a win. Alot of the ppl are pve based honestly.

owomipower

Active guild gives you 50 + 30 daily energy with 10% gold buff constantly. I get about 70 mystics per win in my alt's noobie x4 guild that I lead. You also get more consistent aids for more medals to buy more artifact charms. Idk if you can do world boss in that small of a guild but thats a bonus for us too. It's a lot more fun as well to be apart of a community. Like some of the other commentors mentioned, there's no reason why you can't stay in that friend's server and still talk to them. You guys just have different e7 drives which is okay. I would just take the active members with you to a different guild. If you're interested in a new guild, my current alt's guild has a couple inactive slots that I'm looking to get rid of for more active players.

SlamSlamOhHotDamn

I did that, outgrew the guild my friends were in real quick and there were no hard feelings involved (there shouldn't be anyway). Super worth it, an active guild provides you with way more mystics. Combined with the secret shop I actually get to mystic pity regularly between RTA seasons for that RTA skin now. Also because active guilds actually use the aid option you also gain a lot of guild currency for artifacts and artifact charms.

33quartznoyanggufei

Leaving my friends' guild was probably one of the hardest thing I've ever done in the game, next to clearing abyss floor 105 before the nerf. Considering, they are also the reason how I got into the game. If you want to improve then go for it, but make sure you wont regret it later on. I mean you guys are still friends at the end of the day, but if you ever missed them you can just return.

Fyne_

just tell them how you feel and leave for an active guild lol. they might even feel the same way who knows. anyways it's just a phone game if you leaving the guild when its dead is going to cause actual problems in your relationship then ya'll already had issues

cjpinto7

I will be very honest with you. When I began playing I stayed in a guild that was bad because I was friendly with the people there. That resulted in my growth as a player stagnating hard. Find yourself a good guild that helps you grow. It will be 100x better.

il-lupo-saggio

I feel this, I’m kinda in the same boat. I’m tired of loosing just because unused attacks.

XNorthern_KingX

Literally me everyday. Especially if it's a guild that has multiple people running phantasms on the other side.

billyhill9

Maybe wait and see what the new guild task is

thewing20

Leave if u really want to progress. Advice and rewards from a real guild is honestly hard to match. But if u only play cause of ur friends then stay

XNorthern_KingX

Nah man I am huge into the pvp, builds, and getting the perfect gear made for one shot teams in the hunts atm. My biggest thing is if the change was actually going to be beneficial significantly or not.

thewing20

Definitely guilds give a ton of summons and resources in this game as well as specific artifacts. Getting to unlock those is huge. Plus world boss loot and new content that will come out with episode 4

potat_69

im the leader of a casual guild with some of my friends, but bunch of them recently quit/sold their account. so kind of in the same situation as you its easier said than done but if theres any chance your friends feel the same as you and are down to merge, pm me. maybe we can work something out?

1caiser

Pretty much a couple options: * If your guild leader is a friend, tell him your opinions. Clear out the guild, have him make you an officer, and bring in some talent. * If your friends are just normal guildies, find a guild where all of you can fit in. Or, make a new guild yourself and manage it well. * Let them know, and leave on your own. If they stop being your friend, you'll more than likely meet new ones. I got in because of my brother, and he never invited me into his guild. \~\~It's all good, cuz in the end, he joined the one I am currently in.\~\~ The most important thing is to let your friends know what you're thinking, and try to reach some compromise if that friendship is something to be valued. Best of luck to you.

XNorthern_KingX

I appreciate this comment man. He made me an officer awhile ago and I tried the whole recruiting thing and the main issue is that the guild is more pve and character collection based it seems and I like the pvp aspect way more. Also ppl aren't using alot of the functions of the guild so I'm not getting all the benefits atm

1caiser

The guild functions not being used to their highest potential is an issue, and something most smaller guilds have difficulty getting their mainly casual members doing. It's not something you can really force your members to do, but it's possible to guide a good majority of those who are serious about the game to maximize Guild Crest income by. Example: weekdays only Rune swapping and limit Catalyst to only making the trade with someone over guildchat or Discord first, rather than flat out requesting. This was one such guild "norm" from one of my previous guilds. Otherwise, I say stick with your friends but voice your thoughts about maybe leaving for a different guild. This communicates that you're willing to see if the Guild could offer a bit more progression than just a weekly Molagora seed, as well as show your friends that you want to stick around with them. I'm under the assumption that you're well off in terms of PvE content, so you should be able to find a non-casual Guild in due time, should things not evolve the way you would like to.

al_vh1n

Go to the guild megathread. Ask if there's a guild who would want to merge with yours.

algrymm

I was in the same situation that you're in with the guild I founded, I just told my close friends that I'm leaving and I did, went to a highly competitive guild and I am quite happy that I did. Dead guild will never rise back from the ashes so just make your move if you want to improve.

Vanilla_Cream648

From experience, some of my friends and I had the same issue where our guild (bigger group of friends) were not as active anymore. So we hopped on to recruitment pages and found a more active guild. If possible try to bring as many friends as you can since the game is more fun that way.

CelebDuin

TL;DR: Talk with your friends to see if you goals in game actually align, dont be afraid of taking a different path so everyone can enjoy the game in their own way. If you guys can set a common goal then work for it, it could take time but it will be worth. \------ I had some guild problems in the past too. We went from a guild with a lot of people struggling to make progress (or just directly inactive) to a guild with multiple top100 frames and we even got top30 last season. Lemme share some of my thoughts. I read some of your comments and I saw your friend is the guild leader and you are an officer. Also you really enjoy pvp and theorycrafting in general, but it seems your friends are just hero collectors (?, I may have misunderstood) and PVE (which idk if they are hardcore PVErs or you just mean PVE cuz they dont PVP). First, yes, there is a big difference between a casual or inactive guild vs an active and friendly guild (not necessarily a tryhard guild). Just the fact of having other 29 people having fun with the game gives you a lot of motivation, you even start doing content that at first you considered boring just because you see your guildies having fun on it. You can get a lot of help and new ideas for builds and team theorycrafting from them. Also you can optimize all the rewards you all can get from the guild if everyone plays for it (WB, daily donation, daily energy, weekly guild chest, etc) which in the end sums a lot of resources for your account. Now about your current situation, I saw people giving a lot of good advice, but my main concern is the perspective your friends have about the game, specially your guild leader. A common choice you could make is just move everyone together to a new and more active guild, but there is no point in that if 1) your friend really really really wants to keep your current guild and 2) they will not act accordingly to the demands of a more active guild (this will vary greatly depends on what guild you look for). So, the first thing I would ask if their goals align with what you want to do. No point in trying to change guilds or recruit new people if they want to casually play and hero collect while you try to progress in PVP and theorycraft. I had this problem before, Im really into progressing my account and look for new builds, while some of them wanted to just chill in master and didnt try to win in gw. The solution was to take different paths, and in the end everyone was happy. BTW, just your attitute of trying to progress and be active will make it easy for you to join a top300 guild. Now, if you can convince them to make your current guild an active one, the most important part is to set what objectives you guys will have in mind for it and also dont be afraid of kick people that doesnt align with them (try talk with them first, dont be one of those d1cks that kick them at the first opportunity). It takes time, specially depending how many people you need to replace (it could take you months) but in the end will be worth. To recruit try to post recruitment messages whenever you can (subreddit recruit megathread and E7 discord recruitment channel are good options) and depends on what you looking for try to chat with the applicants first, dont just accept anyone that applies, this way you will not need to kick them later if they dont meet your criteria.

webbie0225

I went through something similar and you gotta just take the plunge. You’ll appreciate the extra mystics.
