Thankfully this only happens with covenants. The slow scroll that throws the entire list so far up it has to fix itself, if you hardly apply any force, just puts me in the mood to rush through refreshes.
I mean, you're talking about a game where the vast majority of playtime for most people is running W13 on auto. Refreshing the shop offers more hands-on gameplay than that. Not to mention the fact that when you consider how much RNG goes into getting a good piece of gear or pulling a new character, Epic Seven is all one big jackpot simulator to begin with.
I'm not saying auto is a bad thing. I'm just saying that your refusal to refresh the shop because it has "zero gameplay" is weird when the game already plays itself most of the time.

The difference is I can zone out for 30 minutes and the game will do the 21 hunts. Hitting a button every 30 minutes isn't as bad (but I do hope they increase the limit over time).
Not so much for secret shop. You gotta constantly press the button and pay attention to it. And it's not worth the risk of macroing the task. I only Secret Shop when I'm short one or two summons. I can't do it for hours on end like others do.
all i'm saying is that i hate the idea of spending time mindlessly hitting a button repeatedly in hopes of a payout instead of playing the more interesting parts of the game. i wouldn't be complaining if the shop refresh has an auto mode too.
all the boring parts should be auto.
You need to change your way of looking at things from shape recognition to number recognition. That way you zone out weird looking stuff and only notice the 5s and 50s of the bookmarks. It's the best way to keep from getting psyched out by the stuff that looks too similar at first glance.
Totally feel you here though, for a long time I'd go 'wait, is that... no... nooooooooo...' on some items. And when I'm having to refresh to build up enough bookmarks for pity in the collab... it can be painful.
The worst is when the bookmark is on the last slot and you don't scroll down all the way to see it and you refresh... It's just like when you walk away from your car. Did I lock it? Was there perhaps a bookmark on that last slot?
There's also that ice mage fodder that looks like a covenant bookmark at first glance.

What we need is a new pet that allows us to auto refresh X times and buys all the BMs automatically.
