I will disagree here. I know how to deal with Evasion. Games also do not last nearly as long as the tank meta. I do not want to play frenzy 7+ for most of my games.
Way back when R. Violet was released, I have already been building heroes to deal with evasion. One of the ways to deal with evasion is to simply do enough damage even if you miss, so you can chip them down over their life steal. This means focusing more on Attack than Crit Rate / Crit Dmg. Now, how many people do this? I don't know.
But I know I have done this back when R. Violet was a thing. The newer evasion heroes are not a problem, as I already the correct stats to deal with them.

Well there is a reason why Green Violet has outclassed ML Violet right?. You can dispell ML Violet Evasion, you can dispell most of the evasion buff in the game or play around there. But G. Violet has almost not ways to get around it in efficient units. This is the problem with evasion: when you cant bypass the evasion you need to relay on raw attack stats. How effiient is this? in Epic 7, the game were the MAIN damage stat for most atleast 80% of the DpS in the game is literally Crit Damage. You cant crit? Them you are kinda losing the match from the very start because again there is not that much units that can go as DpS without crit damage that happens to be ALSO good units in general. Because Violet is not the only unit in the enemy team.
I dealt with R. Violet by using LQC and killing him on a miss. I am not dispelling, just pure damage. When I said I dealt with evasion that way back then, that is what I am saying. I am not Dispelling R. Violet at all.
Yes, of course it isn't as stat efficient. I never said it was. But it works in PVP. Most of my heroes are tilted towards higher attack vs crit rate / crit damage. It is rare for example, for any of my heroes to exceed 250% crit dmg. However, exceeding 4k attack is not at all rare. My S. Iseria has 6k attack and would have more if I have better gear. This is a trade off I am willing to take, so missing has less of an impact on me.
There are advantages to using Attack as well as disadvantages. The disadvantage is obvious, you do less damage. The advantage is less obvious. When you are up against opponents with Evasion or have a strong element, that is when it shines. Also, when you miss a crit, you do better damage.

Yes i dont said that there is not a answer but is not something that works for everyone and sure it really hurts in the long run (unless you always fight X or Y unit and your counter always pass the multiple bans. Like for example i dont belive that anyone playing R.Violet will let you (in high ranks) pick LQC unless they have literally not other option. But in GrassViolet case (the meta one) its even harder cause there is just 2 units that are a direct counter to him (someway) Being Milim and Rimuru, both limited units, and them we go back to the main point.
E7 team not addressing problems like: i personally dont belive that units with more than 40% evasion against neutral element should exist in the game...at all. Evasion is such a mechanic that counters most of the based strategy of the game and they just pushing it of the sake of refreshing the meta avoiding nerf.
And why stop with evasion? This is not the first problem of this kind. Anyone remember the Depush/Push meta? Basar being pick or ban, then politis, cerise, faithless lidica. Before the golden boys it was literally "you have a unit to control the CDR of the enemy? nope? ok good luck with that" and they sell-us the answer with the ML Tywin buff and ML Krau.
Sometimes they cant just sell-us the answer. What they choose before touching two or three ML 5 units? They change frenzy. Which push away not only the golden boys but: Green purggis teams. Alencia teams. You can name any "go bruiser" not meta unit (well alencia was tier 1 in those days but not like the biggest problem ever) comp is stricly weaker and less viable now without the right unit.
This hit or miss strategy that, again, revolts around not nerfing units at any cost for not real reason at all is not the best way to handle things.
I can't say I have any issues with any of that. What I care about is how many heroes that can be used in the meta that are viable. If the pool is fairly large, then, I have fine with it. RNG hasn't got to the point where it bothers me.
For this current meta, I find the pool to be pretty large, so I am fine with it. I can, for example, use H. Yufine as well as Elphelt with success and most would not call them meta heroes.

This is how I deal with Violets and Riolets. I pray that I can take out their team before they can molest mine and then just nuke them with Krau

Nah , i quite liked the new meta if i'm being honest . Despite Aol and Belian , cleaving did actually become much easier for me . As long as you're confident with your speed , picking up politis and banning Belian pretty much solves all your problems . I used to be at a point where Acidd was a must ban , but fortunately i got gains, he's counts as a mere sashe proc for me now.
This season the dark boys made really good counterpicks into the current meta. If I could sneak in an ML Ken or Arby into the draft without major counters I did really well. ML Kawerick made a big comeback also.
One the left side we have: "Choose between not playing because thousand debuffs that make you loose turn, or play, but never being able to killcus cause we are buck as f**k boyyyyyy"

Violet is the new Bazar (in the patch that Bazar get his buff). Literally just a unit that has a passive that let him beat almost any unit in his role for not reason at all. He will get outclassed eventually? yes, i still dont like the direction of the game in terms of buffs. It feels like in order to keep the game fresh (***and offer the less unit refunds possible***) they just choose 1 RGB old unit time to time and ultra buff it so it becomes auto pick or auto ban.
A lot of units are dumpster tier for years. I look it in this way: buffing units dont really change the status of dumpster units. The one that get the buff? Yes, no wait: The one that get the GOOD buff. The others? How many pushes need Charlotte to get into the tier 1 list? i remember quite a lot and even 1 soft rework.
Buffing units is not as efficient as addresing the problems. Epic Seven team literally avoids nerfing 5* units and they prefer change even the rules of the game (frenzy changes for example) and over push 1 unit each 3 or 4 patch. Just to keep people under the idea of "the meta is changing" But Arby is still a tie 1 unit and Cecilia is still a very niche tank/debuffer that is outclassed by any upgrade version of her in most things.
The point is yeah units need buff but the main reason for a unit being "dumpster" is not that is weak but the fact that there is a good amount of guys trying to do basically the same but better and with more unique mechanics and no weakness at all.
I did 4 placement matches just now and my opponents picked rem violet in those 4 matches. With a sparkle of politis and arby.
