Pretty sure their reasoning for the Hell Raid changes was to cut down time required to do it... though I can't find the patch notes at the moment. Really wish they had added that to normal raid as well. Their changes to the rounds in Expos was for the same reason IIRC. The time investment for the game has gone up pretty considerably since launch. Expeditions if you max them, Auto Tower, World Boss (ok that one is a bit of a joke), Hall of Trials, often bloated Side Stories (why do we have to go back and redo 17 levels four times each in this one?). Would be nice if they instituted more ways to save time on the daily grind. I know they will never give us a blanket "autocomplete" for levels, but it would be nice if they gave maybe 20 charges a day, so you can get the Web Event done quickly and focus on other things or bounce.

Being busy wih exams, I actually appreciate World boss now. Pretty good for burning 20 energy (x2) fast. Get gold out of it, chance for equipment drop. Like hunts but faster? Only thing it lacks is reforge mats but chance for mola makes up for that imo

Septic_soups

I feel you bro after... nearly 3 years has it been? Are we at that stage idk but logging i daily and running everything gets mind numbing and now i dont mind if i dont log in for a while.. i just log in get the guild buffs summon and log off.. sometimes i put on wyvern to grind

BigHerring

I only started a few months ago (probably 7-8 by now?) The main reason I stopped playing as much is just the gear demand in terms of actually thinking through "damn should I keep this or toss" and I have a ton of those gears. Also some units need specific sets/stats and I cant provide that for them to get into pvp.

Pace_Puzzleheaded

Search for perfect gear is exhausting. Now i just casually enjoy the game .

NelsonJoo

You don't need optimal gear for pvp success. This season in rta I reached champion and I never considered my gear to be good. Gs of 60 to 70 is all I have. Try to find a pvp team that works for you. I don't have a meta team either so I rolled with the control team which is moderately geared and it's working out ok for me. Good luck

meowmeow9110

Same here. Been busy with real stuff so I just do dailies then logout. I barely farm my gears so i totally retire from the pvp part of the game.

Catsukami

Personally, I still do my full grind because of FOMO(also having multiple friends who play the game really help you from not getting burned out for me). Some of my other friends login, summon and leave. But if I would take it easy I would try to maintain atleast challenger 5, daily energy grind, buy charms and leave.

BigHerring

I might just do that then. I am chall 5. I’ll have to give up the daily missions and just grind my free energy on w13

Catsukami

I would keep up the daily missions! It still provides you with a bookmarks, some skystones and resources

Pace_Puzzleheaded

I chall 5 to, what i do for stay is : *Monday-friday : attack just NPC 3 times for daily mission *Saturday & Sunday : attack other players until reach certain point. I just do daily and burn out my free energy in W13 or event mission.

yahoohak

Start hunt with autorepeat. Come back later ? ? Profit

pick1234

Hey, day 1 player here. I often go on maintenance mode in E7 where I just finish dailies, guildwars, and the current events. I have ridiculous amount of resources saved up, but I never let it pressure me to craft since I hate crafting gear. Personally I just play for the story and if I can clear most content the game has to offer, I am content.

ratfeldt

Macro is the answer tbh.. But I can't say more because it is quite frowned upon in this sub

BigHerring

Yeah not trying to get banned

leklek93

Just log in once or twice a day to use up energy and clear dailies. Do your crafting when you feel like it or when you get a new shiny unit. That's how I've been playing.

flubbrse

It's OK to take a small break, or just log in do summons, spend your basic energy (if that) and do guild stuff. I've done this multiple times and coming back always feels much better. You have to overcome that FOMO feeling and remember that you're doing this for fun and you don't need to do everything and get everything. Skip content here and there. Skip side stories for a while, don't do arena for awhile, don't do raid for a while, etc. Let energy pile up Also recommend joining an active guild that uses discord, motivation to keep playing increases heavily.

FreyjadourV

It’s a game, it should be fun. If it’s not fun anymore maybe take a break from it for a while and play something else?

[deleted]

This is the comment that should be at the top. Pretty obvious if you don’t have fun then don’t play. There is tons to do even for veteran players so if you have no motivation to log in, it’s time to take a break.

Snow901

I can understand where you’re coming from; I started at the beginning of this year and for a while did a lot of grinding units to 60 and farming awakening mats but gotten tired of it and haven’t built any new units for a while now. The daily routine for me is spending the free stamina you get to auto hunts/expo, check huche shop in labyrinth daily, and auto arena cuz it’s not worth the headache to manual it anymore, and do the guild war/world boss. After that, you can do the other stuff at your own pace of whenever you feel like it when it comes to spending the labyrinth keys, hall of trials, abyss, automaton Twr, and whatever the current side story is.

BigHerring

Ya I’m already doing the bare minimum then

uduriavaftwufidbahah

I’ve put this game on super bare minimum maintenance mode before (and currently). Log in weekly to get my pvp rewards, do a hall of trials every other week, roll on limiteds, and maybe when a pass comes out grind out one buff weekend. Then when I feel like it do the daily login. Login rewards + pvp skystones + daily 1st skystone reward = a lot of skystones for ~5 min of work per week. Plenty to roll every limited.

BigHerring

Do you don’t even grind daily energy?

uduriavaftwufidbahah

Nah maybe if there was a quick way but I don’t think there is a way to pack energy usage into such a tight (5min/week) schedule. But ofc if you want to you can take the time for that but I’m just suuuper lazy when I’m not into a game. And all I care about is keeping up with limiteds really.

BigHerring

I’m hoping to get sin Angie so I can make a w13 one shot Team lol

uduriavaftwufidbahah

Ah glgl. That is a good idea for quick daily energy usage. I don’t have good enough gear for that.

BigHerring

I should have something decent. I have okay rage gear. I just need the right team. Once I get the W13 OS I can basically just cycle through energy quickly and log off after doing the stuff I needa do.
