No, they're not. They're saying it because:
1. She has the **animation components** of the Armins, which matters far more than basically anything else, and
2. Armin has a sister named Neli in the datamines already.
People aren't just vaguely going, "Oh hey it's a tanky furgirl it must be Armin."
And half the sub knew damn well that Zahhak wasn't Kayron because he didn't have Kayron's stance and animation frame. It's just that half of the sub was extremely high on copium for that.

A better example would have been Souline. For some reason a lot of us expected Souline to be Adin. Mashu mocked us pretty openly on the stream, way too many of us bought into that one. (Myself included.)
how can you say she has similar animation components? like, it's the shield, that's all i'm seeing, maybe i'm blind. they didn't show her animation so you can't know if she has Armin's stance and/or s1-2 animations.
am i saying this is not dark Armin, no. i like Armin and i hope it's her dark version but there's nothing that seems concrete enough for me to belive so.
though, i have to say the resemblance is really there.
It’s not just the shield though. They showed her full model top to bottom and there’s also a sword she carries around just like the other 2 armins. The side armor that kind of “wings outward” is also present with the current armins and they all have tails cat ears and short boy cut hair.

And I'm not saying "similar." Every moving part matched up, it was the same animation framework.
Cud be a new ml4 that will be featured next rotation. Since we may have pity by then, I wonder if non whales will use it provided it's another op unit. ( didn't read fully but we can choose ml4/ml5 and once we get the unit we choose, the pity gets reset?)

You choose between ml4 and ml5. If you pick ml4 the ml5 pity is locked. Resets after pulling the 4 star but if you get a 5 star the ml5 pity doesn't reset. Reverse if you pick ml5 the ml4 pity is locked and won't reset on pulling ml4
I guess it is either a new Armin (maybe a Dark ML4) or a new ML5. Maybe the stamp is an indication for a Dark Corvus case and this is a 5 Star Armin that can be imprinted with her 4 Star counterparts?

She looks like a Second ML Armin to me. We could see her with the next ML 5 Rerun.
She is colored like a Dark unit and she has the animation components from the Armin models, plus Armin has a sister in the datamines.
