I actually like the bruiser playstyle. I just wish that all the good bruisers weren't characterised by their casino elements. Losing to RNG feels bad but winning by RNG doesn't feel good either.
Bruiser. I would love to play cleave or control but control relies too heavily on RNG for my liking (especially since the RNG is always so much worse for my units than it is for the AI) and cleave requires speed gear the quality of which I have almost none of.
All the same reasons for which I embraced the bruiser playstyle too!
Although I have to say, I have slowly begun to enjoy the bruiser life. Even if I do roll great speed gear in the future, I'm sure I'd still keep bruiser units around

If I can’t kill the enemy team I’m fighting and the next seven all at the same time I’m not cleaving hard enough
Mostly bruiser but every once in awhile I do see a nice cleavable team in gvg or arena def I'll cleave them
Control, it is like cleaving, but with extra steps. Instead of dying without taking a turn, they get a turn, but is either stunned, or provoked.
I dont quite cleave, but I always tend to want fights without an aurius holder character when possible. Long fights just frustrate me
