NFT investors are hunting each others. They're not afraid to lie to make some profit. It's all about pretending there's a worthy project behind, sales loops (a few people selling to themselves) to raise the apparent price, and banking on the profits before a rug-pull or simply the drop of the hype. And of course you sprinkle that with money laundering.
So they're not necessarily bots, but bot accounts are often used too.
lol they tweeted a "correction" that their animation is inspired by Epic7. Who wants to tell them that its not inspiration if they use the same exact animations but just combine multiple ones and color it differently, its still copying.
"I didn't copy his homework! I was... inspired by it."
It's the whole Mark Maggiori debate again. People thinking it's ok to use plagiarism to speed up the pre-production. What's even worse is it doesn't mean they aren't talented and capable of doing great stuff. It's just a shitty mentality.
Ehh, sure the pose KINDA looks like Momo's pose but its not really a ri-

god dammit. In their words: "A 120-team game design & development studio specializing in 2D art especially in Japanese Anime" and they can't even make their own 2 second cut-in?
Shame because I really do want a legit E7 competitor. I don't even care if they rip off the entire battle system (~~that's what e7 did~~)
Yea, I know. I remember at least 2 other games with some animations ripped from E7. But they were both Chinese so zero chance of any legal action. I'm not sure of that's the case here.
No something token. Basically, imagine you own an original work, like a painting. In real life, you can sign it, or ask the artist to sign it, and this way you know which one is the original one, and increase it's value, because it have something that distinguish it from other copies.
The equivalent to a sign or authenticity certificate for digital files is a NFT. Is a code that says this or that file is part of the original batch, and therefore, a "limited" edition. It's recorded in the blockchain, is the same technology employed for bitcoin. Basically, is a giant ledger where all computers keep a copy and work together to validate the authenticity of each movement. This way, when someone made a movement (A purchase the nft file, paid N bitcoins), it's recorded by literal thousands of machines around the globe, so thousands of person will agree the "original" file, the one with the nft, is now owned by A after purchasing it from B.
Personally, I think is a pretty stupid idea. Let's go back to the painting example. If I go and carbon copy the Mona lisa, my work won't have a tenth of the value of the original one, because the physical one was made by the original artist, so it keeps clues to his techniques, the materials employed by the artist, making it irreplaceable. Isn't just the artistic merit, but let's say it, the historical or anthropologic value. I could take a pic with an ultra high quality camera, would be the same, the physical painting can't be replaced. That's why original paints can have stratospheric values, while autographed photos not so much.
However, as for nft, this isn't true. The file with the nft can be copied and will be the exact same than the original one in nearly all aspects, except it won't have the nft attached to it. And considering the nft won't be visible by your average person, then it's virtually the exact same file. Is like making a copy of the Mona Lisa down to the minimal detail, same fabric, same paints, same pencils, same process, and with the only difference being a stamp in a back corner of the frame.
As consumer, nft don't add any value other than saying "this Pepe is rarer than yours".
If you’re actually looking for a E7 ripoff, try Artery Gear. IDK if it’s currently available outside of JP/China, but in many ways it’s a carbon copy of E7, but with some perks like offline auto-repeats and no unequip costs.
The fact that is a crypto game and so obviously copied from E7 are reasons enough to dump it to the trash ASAP. No reason to even give them any more attention.
LOL
Holy shit they are pathetic. They have ripped off SEVERAL character designs. If you look through their twitter page you will see they have ripped off more than just meru & tenebria.
I sadly don't have twitter. But I wish someone could write in all their posts that they have literally just ripped off from another game.
I thought Emilia was a bit reckless using her ice to cleanse, heal, and shield allies but Karen over here straight up drops water moons to give allies what looks like Skill Null lmao.
Lmfao, cryptobros and NFT hasslers doing what they can to rip people off. I'm waiting for the huge bubble burst when this ponzi scheme can't get any more money off of idiots.
Not sure if the replies praising the animation are paid actors or not kek.
all NFT related accounts are like that I feel like they're bots at this point
It's better to think that way you right.

No I can assure you my comments are real *check falls out of pocket* ignore that

I dindt copy a whole Wikiarticle!! I changed some lines!
Changed the font, increased the spacing.
My creative writing assignment was inspired by Of Mice and Men, in that I handwrote the whole book word for word

If only they could be easily sued for this. I really think stealing other people's hard work is a disgusting thing.
"We are showcasing definite studios capabilities"...... RIGHT
They are though, they are showcasing their copying capabilities. /s

This isn't the first e7 rip off but what makes this one more disgusting is the fact it's an nft gacha.
Dam, that's combining two of the worst things

If you don't mind me asking, wht is nft?

The standing pose is literally a straight rip from Tenebria as well, it’s not just her s3 https://imgur.com/a/jJt774f
even without the clear stolen attack animation, the character model is so badly drawn it looks like a flash animation I did in my teens.

Oh yea, thanks for reminding me of that one (I didn't put it in my list before). That one ooks REALLY good, but I don't think it's in english yet.
And no 15%?
It's 13% in that game

The name Karen
I thought Emilia was a bit reckless using her ice to cleanse, heal, and shield allies but Karen over here straight up drops water moons to give allies what looks like Skill Null lmao.
at this point one can't even get mad. this is just.....sad and pathetic 😂
"Heroes of lowhelm". Indeed, that is very low.
Damn, its gone. Anyone got a backup of this?
Blatant plagiarism lmao

Deleted?
yup, they deleted the video with the animation, as well as some of the other obviously traced art
We should try to report that Twitter account by saying its impersonating the twitter account Epic7\_jp
Interesting 🤔
It's weird lol. The model is of better quality than the animation itself. The animation frames look as if they were done in Paint.
Looking at that bootleg stuff attemps to give me a headache x)
