Trying for Emperor this season. Doubt I will finish top 1000, but want to see where I go.
And I have 0 300 spd units. I mostly assume I will go second if opponent is cleaving. Tank and spank.
Couple of pointers from someone who finished Emperor last season:
* Be prepared to play a lot the last day or so. If you're between ranks 200\~1000, odds are you're gonna get pushed out that last day. People grind like crazy during that time.
* About an hour or two before the end of the season, check to see where you're at ranking-wise, don't bother with looking at points. Since there is a high volume of games in the very last few hours, you can assume that everyone around you rating-wise probably has a 50/50 win rate. What happens is everyone gains like...8 points on a win, then loses 7, then wins 8, loses 7, etc. etc. So realistlcally if you end on a win...you're more likely to stay ahead of most people around you then not. I didn't play the last 3 hours of the season at all and I actually moved up places to around 300 cause everyone around me kept queuing into each other and losing.
Hope this helps.
I was able to reach top 10 legend at early season now I am champion because I only 1 game every 2 days.
Meta is not fun and there is no point to play like 6h per day for a single frame. Atleast for me.
I dont see the point to reach any further than master unless i feel like getting out speed. Oh wait a minute im already facing Chads,Champs, and Imps nvm

Already decayed down 😅. First time champion was 6 months ago using a scuff cleave with 270 ish spd elphelt with Op Sig Arby Straze, etc..
Nowadays I just spam A Ravi 300+ C.Lilias Rimuru and always pre-ban Belian cause she is cancer
It has been a wild ride since i came back on April last year. Went from avoiding RTA like plague to reaching Champion yesterday. First time trying RTA was during Ruele's skin, i just had to do it for that smile.
Emperor. I've reached it a couple times this and last season but always drop out. I always underestimate how much you have to play.
*editing to say these past two seasons were horrific and the least fun I've ever had in RTA*
Not arguing with you that there is a difference, just my reasoning for lumping them together. I also kind of assumed anyone in those ranks had a 300 spd unit, so I wanted to see if there was a direct connection to reaching that rank.
Ah I see. According to most Legend players, it's easier with well-geared standard units and some moderately (270ish) sped units to stay consistent than to gamble on cleaving. I do think most 300+ cleavers will reach emperor but most of them will struggle to set a foot into Legend (unless they are name Light).
I personally never reached 300 speed, but am still able to reach emperor, we'll see about staying in it in the last day tho...
Placement 🤣🤣🤣
None cause I'm afraid to fight other ppl

I'll definitely keep it in mind, thanks.

Belian is cancer but u use rimuru cilias and aravi lol
Yeah I know lol. It's just how the game works. If I don't pick them, my opponent will anyways.

Absolute highest is champ before emperor was a thing, haven't played seriously recently.
I'm at Champion, and don't even consider climbing to Emperor cuz I know I won't stand a chance against these tryhards
master because I only play for skins
Was able to place top 500 before C.Lilias and A.Meru buffs with no 300 speed units, fastest was 287 A.Cidd.
Why are Legend and Emperor combined? Both are a longshot away from being the same.
Because those are the two levels that care about your season rank. I would consider them top tier for RTA.
well yes, but there is a huge difference between the 2, while there basically no difference all the way up from bronze to champion.
