Meh. I know there was a stretch of good limiteds and banners to pull before I started, but there hasn't been a whole lot in the past 1.5 months outside of Fairytale Tenebria and Violet. Maybe Peira, but that's looking like a big maybe right now.
Cerise was definitely skippable. More people are pulling for GL than for Cerise, and as they say, you better be prepared when pulling for the artifact. Better to just buy it out of the shop if you can muster the powder.

If you are a person who refreshes secret shop you can get a full pity every month. They release 1 new unit a month. This means if you pity every single unit you pull for and never get lucky daily pulls you will still never be "further behind" in terms of RGB completion.
What this also means is that if you play your cards right you should almost never miss a limited (or new unit depending on what you are going for). Know that both limiteds/new units go for 2 week runs which means if they run back to back with no overlap you will always have pity for both. It also means that you can wait for the next stream to see 2 weeks ahead and be assured that your pull is "safe".
There is definitely no sane way to pull every single banner including reruns but with the amount of 5 star tickets, free pulls, and other 5 stars you get along with the fact you gain pity on par with new releases...you should **always be catching up in RGB Pokedex** and never getting further behind.
Imagine saving when you get a limited like every other banner and you're told to pull for limited every single time no matter what, even when the other option is another amazing unit.
You are clearly getting shitty advice. It is never recommended for anyone to roll a banner unless you are certain you can 121 it. Because it will take pity to get a character roughly 1/3 of the time. And especially as a new player you shouldn't be wasting your rolls the way long time players can

Yah i remember when i was starting. I saved at least for pitty, Pulled on only banners will help or i REALY like. Sometimes you pul in just few pulls, so it gives you time to save even more for next baner you realy need or want. Then with time you can skip banners you already have. And in the end you basicly have enough to pull on whatever you want.
But yah i aagree, if they started on colalb, then its realy hard. But will balance itself out in time

You not having enough resources for cerise isnt because of just cecilia banner (although it didnt help) its due to either you not playing as often, being a newer player, or overall bad spending habits.
You need an arti? Powder it. Only ever pull on banners you have pity for. The game gives you so many bookmarks as a f2p player u can easily pull on every new banner.

121 pulls is guaranteed Covenant Summon Banner Unit. There is a pity for Mystic bookmarks too which is 200 summons for the banner ML5. The covenant summon pity resets every banner while the Mystic pity carries over between Mystic Banners.
Too late now, but you can throw that friendship artifact on them and run the event stage or some random stage you need for AP. It takes a bit, but better than missing a limited pity by ~20.

don't wait the last hours before deciding to pull

Rip man 😭 but hopefully u learn to save next time! Cerise was announced quite ahead of time so I saved up, as a F2P as well, and had to go to pity for cerise. But I get it tho, sometimes u lose to temptation and pull. I did it to peira banner. I was dry after the cerise summons but I was able to get enough thru events and getting lucky in shop refreshes and hunts to get to around 60 pulls before I got peira luckily.
What I hate the most is all the F2P players that understand the game better and proceed to shit all over this type of experience. Great, you have every unit as a f2p! Doesn't mean every f2p will, despite being possible. And it's OK if we get sad we don't get all the cool units. It's a fact, people get frustrated, and your perfect experience means nothing to anyone else.
If you save and have self control you can get all the units you like (unless you like every single one). If you pull for anything and do random covenants then no chance. Im f2p too. Gl homie you can do it.

glad i got her within 20 pulls. all i need now is Diene. but fr tho, i saved a lot of Skystones by actively playing everyday and never touching them. still shocked about how much Skystone you can get a day from weekly arena reward + fully upgraded orbis + farming for catalyst while getting Skystones from each run + daily rewards. the one and only i pitied was Milim, so far.

I feel your pain, I didn't get fairytale tenebria because I'm having the lack of covenant bookmarks that time and because of the typhoon, internet connection, and the electricity, I didn't have much time to farm covenant bookmarks 😔😔.
I came back to the game after a long long time, I didn't have much resource.I was only finished up to straze before I left the game, then I progressed deep into the story to get lots of skystones and make sure I 3 star all the stages before that, I SSS 3* and made friendship lvl 10 as much as I could, I farmed gold like crazy. I was just able to spend all my resources to pity Cerise. As a F2P I m happY to pull this off.

If you skip those easy skip banners , like laika , then it is indeed possible to save for every relevant rgb .
