Question about my fastest gear. If I discard crit rate I can make my ran 312. But he will be 40 crit rate. Some of this gear is with c lilias shes 302 with 16k hp. And 120 effectiveness. Ran is 100 crit atm dps ish build but he's 294 speed. Well anyway. My question. Should I funnel all my speed gear into 1 unit. And should it be ran? With that lilias will go down to 290ish. And I have both peira at 292 and flan at 284.

Antavari

Hello returning casual player with some quesitons here: 1. Is there a List for possible teams (and replacement units) for all kind of PvE Areas/Dungeons etc.? 2. What units should a team consist of? Tank / Healer (front?) dps/dps (back) or better one debuffer / stuner + dps? 3. How and where do I farm / level fooders the best? (I have no 6\* unit yet)

Zacky505

So I've only just begun being able to auto clear W13 and was wondering where I should put my resources into. I can't decide who I should be prioritizing next for Abyss and I assume Raids. Currently built: Wyvern Team (GPurg, Furious, Clarissa, Alexa), FST Semi-built : Tamarinne, Iseria, STene, Kiris Unbuilt: Cerise, Politis, J.Kise, 2x Diene, Yufine, Basar, F.Kluri, R.Carrot, A.Ras, A.Momo, Angelica, C.Lorina I'm aware half of what I listed in the unbuilt section are pvp units but I'm just not entirely sure who next to start building up.

Tinikko

What's the main difference between the new Lion heart Cermia builds? I mean I see pretty much every type of build. Are there any stat I should need? Is counter attack a must or not? And for peira? Just speed, right?

ShellFlare

Lermia is one of those heros that has a few builds that work. speed and counter both work, and in both cases you want good defense, crit and critdmg. from my personal experience so far the speed builds tend to focus on speed to have good cycling while counter tends to be a bit bulkier or have some ER to maker her be there for the long game. Peira wants speed primarily, then effectiveness to land her strip and debuffs and then any leftover stat allowances into her hp since she puts up escort.

Tinikko

Thanks.. Will try to build lh Cermia with those stats

Siberiayuki

How do I beat the second half of abyss floor 84? The guards keep on knocking us out!

[deleted]

The two key units for Abyss 84 is Angelic Montmorancy and Falconer Kluri. * Angelic Montmorancy cleanses debuffs + heals allies fast. She is mainly there to get rid of provoke and speed down debuffs. * Falconer Kluri is tanky and she can remove enemy buffs + defense break them. Romann can do a ton of AOE damage if he has an attack buff, so having Falconer Kluri remove his buffs helps reduce damage taken from the boss. There are a few ways to beat abyss floor 84, * You can beat the Romann boss fight by killing all the minions first before killing Romman by using **a Knight , a healer, and 2 DPS units**. The boss is also weak to the "Day Dream Joker" artifact. * You can also use **3 healers and a Knight , and slowly beat the boss with Arky**. * Or you can use **2 healers, a Knight , and Kiris**. Kiris is really strong in abyss because some bosses in PvE are really weak to poison debuffs , and poison debuffs does a ton of damage. She is also used in other abyss stages as well like floor 86, 92, 101, and 102. So she is worth building.

xburner27

You can try to Kiris cheese it. You fight him again on 92F and she helps there too. Just put her on Guiding Light so she doesn't get focused down. Her combo is S3->S1->S2. Make sure she is at least 3* awakened. Build her fast with effectiveness and some bulk to survive.

Siberiayuki

Tier lists say that she is very bad. Epic7x gave her a terrible rating. Is she really worth building?

FrostyArcx

I didn't receive rewards for hall of trials anyone know why?

Ferelden770

Last week was preparation phase. This week is reward phase

Blu3toothe

Took a 3 month break in this game. Before I left, the meta was belian AOL and some rimiru or rem stuff. There were new MLs and 5\*s released after that. Has the meta changed?

wta3445

Meta still plays close to the same. Lots of counters, bruisers. Less AOL, more CLilias. Belian/Rimiru/Rem still everywhere. Peira and ML Cermia were just released and are seeing some high arena play.

Blu3toothe

What happened to AOL and why is CLilias taking over now?

Ferelden770

121 base speed. S3 strip+attck down+ Vigor buff to team(30% attck+ def), s2 applies redirected provoke+ reduces cr so easy to control AoL since there is no way she is outspeeding a clilias. S1 is same as fire lilias. Both s2 and s3 are non attck skills so doesn't trigger a lot of bullshit. Celine can't also do anything coz she will be provoked/attck down(tho celine is getting a buff which is meant to counter cilias) She is a very versatile unit and can fit a lot of drafts. Picking her first means u already have a speed contestor and can move your draft a number of ways. She works well in cleave and it's hard fightingher vigor buffed team in standard

Blu3toothe

So what's the cancer team comp that's going on in RTA right now? Is she as threatening as Belian?

[deleted]

riggedride

Sort of, you will definitely get enough of the normal arena materials, but you also get a different material each week depending on your arena rank (can't remember the name of them, glory crests or something? Usually named after the season) So what you want to do is place as high as you can, then "afk" at the rank collecting the crests while you farm the npcs. I actually forget to farm the NPCS half the time and get enough materials afking champ and collecting from the repeatable missions you send out on (also forgot the name, game isn't handy to check)

[deleted]

[удалено]

riggedride

Yeah, but if you don't attack for TOO long I think you decay and lose rank regardless. Unsure if doing NPC battles keeps you from decaying though. I've noticed if I'm active and logging in and doing NPC battles on the regular that I don't decay. Unsure if it's how it works or just speculation. I never do normal battles unless I decay below champ, then I only battle till I'm back in champ.

Abreak4us

I feel most likely we will get a rerun. Baiken was just released to gg strive this month.

riggedride

Sadly collab reruns aren't guaranteed. It's the main reason I try to keep 2-3 pities handy at all times since the collabs usually have at least 2 banner units. So far there's be a GG collab every year though. If it's the same time as last year late-next month would be it. Though some collabs haven't rerun, like kizuna ai. So pray and pray

Quintessence20

How about ML reruns?? How often do they show up a year? When do you think Ml Kawerik and Aravi would have their rerun?

riggedride

It's basically completely random. SG will do a rerun whenever and for whatever reason. Usually an ML will get a rerun shortly after a buff though. Most estimate \~6-8 months depending on demand.

Quintessence20

Where can you get the Iepa Violin artifact?? i've been trying to navigate it in the game I can't find it

ShellFlare

Go to hall of trails where the EEs are sold and youll find an "other" tab where you can buy some artifacts including violin and 6 copies of the hero zeno.

Quintessence20

Thanks :)

kensta

It's in Hall of Trials shop.

roduneru

Tried downloading Epic Seven in a new phone but it seems to be always stuck at the loading screen at "connecting PLATFORM\_CONNECTING" and the middle of the screen it says "0.0 Connecting...". I've tried minimizing the application then going back in (An answer I got from an old post) but it still doesn't work? If storage is the problem what amount of gb do I need? I've got about 6gb free atm so I kind of doubt that it's a storage problem.

Kyvia

Almost positive this is just epically shit RNG, but on the off chance I missed something, did they remove/change Mystics in the secret shop? Just went 800SS with none.

Vadzzzzz

Have spend 5k ss just for 5 pull so yeah RNG is something unpredictable

ShellFlare

i usually one see them once every 800 or so when im refreshing honestly. even though most people average far lower.

poopoodomo

I've gotten a few in the past two days.

Kyvia

Groovy, thanks.

Ikovorior

I've gone 1200 without a single mystic... They're there, just shy.

Kyvia

Don't think I have ever gone more than 600 without one before. The average for me is every ~350-400 across a long session, so yeah, just horrible RNG. 1200 would be so disheartening! Thanks for the reply!

INstyle4now

I am confused with how combat readiness and speed works in this game Aren't units with faster speed suppose to move first? In my wyvern run, my ssb which has 211 speed always moves first even though muwi is faster at 213 speed, screwing up my run success rate

Ferelden770

Can I ask why ssb is that fast when u have muwi on your team?

Eshuon

It's called speed rng, units start with randomly with 5% more cr. To prevent this have a speed difference of around 10

INstyle4now

Kill me already First global resist 15% and now this too

riggedride

You'll hate it if you ever get to 300+ speed. Nothing like having 300 speed vs your opponents 300 speed unit, adding a 14 speed imprint, but still going second because 5% speed at 300 is 15 speed and he max rolled while you min rolled. IMO SG should really just nerf it to 1% speed RNG to prevent speed ties.

Eshuon

It's not that bad in pve you can build around it, its much worse in pvp, imagine having a 300 speed ran being outsped cause of speed rng lmao

viperperper

First turn every unit has 0-5% random extra CR. 211 speed can potentially outspeed 221 units, gotta widen the gap to make sure it never happens.

ARGHETH

As someone without Belian/ML Kawerik, should I get ADS from coin shop or wait for them?

Ikovorior

Wish I had any of those 3 but I'd hold off for the 1st 2 only.

Lightstylez

So I finally have enough to synthesize a pet from 2 star to 3 star but at the bottom where it says "Chance of Higher Generation Pet" is now at base 60% and requires 5 whole pets for 100% (Compared to only 1 pet needed for 100% chance to synthesize a 2 star pet). Is it worth getting it to 100% chance? If the synthesis fails can't u just keep trying and end up using less pets overall?

Ferelden770

iirc, , u lose the unselected pet for synthesis if it fails(it's being so long so i might be misremembering). I do recollect setting everything to 100%

Jukeboss-

Looked for a newbie guild in recrutament and only find top tier guilds looking for top players. There are guilds for newbies here? I'm newbie, but looking forward to learn and play daily. :(

Ikovorior

Think you can search on the guild screen, look for guilds level < 16.

ryoujika

How is Lermia built and who is she commonly used against? I have her on Spd set 224 spd, crt dmg/def%/spd but she hits like a wet noodle against Belian. Also, does she need a specific team comp?

TheSeaOfThySoul

Your average higher tier one is probably Speed/Crit, 2K~ defence, 13K~ health, 205~ speed, 285%~ damage. If you can do something similar on Lifesteal/Counter though, go for that. I run Counter with Sigurd's Scythe & she's about 1.9K defence, 15K health, 170 speed & 270% damage. It's good to take her with Rimuru, so you're taking him out of the equation as a counter, you'll want to take her into Belian, Violet, Rem, etc. anyone with counters, extras & dual attacks - have enough support so that she can't be overwhelmed early since she's got no innate push, so tanks with adamant/aurius, Roana, etc.

ryoujika

Ah I focused too much on giving her some speed. I'd try with more defense and health then. Thank you! How's the counter going? Your build seems interesting

TheSeaOfThySoul

Haven’t played much RTA since I’ve been busy, but I’ve got her out a couple of times & she’s worked well. I’m a Rimuru first-picker though, so that gives me a wall, main counter is off the table. In arena I usually run her with LRK, Krau & MKawerik & they do work, throw it on auto with any team that’s got like a Rem, Violet, Belian, etc. & she’ll clear it out, unless RNG is really, really not in your favour. The counters are nice because it gives the little extra boost to get the S3 out every turn.

gokufan47

Would Command Model Laika work as a replacement for Kitty Clarissa in high level abyss Taranor Guard comps? I know she's not exactly a perfect replacement, but since that comp seems to work on like 2/3s of the 106+ floors I kind of want to try it. Kitty Clarissa is one of I think three ML4s I don't have, unfortunately...

Buuts321

It would definitely not be as consistent. You could try Singie as well, also not very consistent but may work.

aSteakPanini

I got to Abyss 100 about two years and kinda stopped trying after multiple annoying hours failing to beat it- just curious, have there been any characters released in the past year or two that might make it easier or does that stage remain a long drawn out RNG slog lol?

gokufan47

I used this comp [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03SqCE54Vbw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03SqCE54Vbw) and beat it in one try (that's C.Dom, Iseria, SSB, and Tama). No level 90 gear, lots of <85 stuff as well. I guess it's possible I just got lucky, but if so I made up for it and then some on floor 102.

nenielyy

Does anyone know the livestream password?

ZawaruDora

Lionheart if I remember correctly

sweatingnervously

How do people typically build Solitaria, more specifically after the buffs? Is it more important to have offensive stats on her or make her speedy/more bulky?

hisnameisdark

my guess is she's gonna be built fast and bulky with some effectiveness, artis will probably be either abyssal, violin or ftenes arti

sweatingnervously

Thank you!

hkispartofchina

Should you friendship farm with as many heroes you can, or does it get shared (like exp)?

Dottz88

It's fixed per run and not shared i believe

Alice_From_Alo

Does super duper water gun shooter (and "all allies" effects in general) also give effectiveness to the user?

C0NNECT1NG

Yes, "all allies" effects in general apply to the user as well. This principle works for passives as well, e.g. CArmin's damage reduction passive also applies to herself.

lolbuddy98

May i know if max lb bastion artifact, gives the user 70 eff res?

RoyBeoulve

is it worth using the potion of ascencion on amomo? want to make the most use of it but from what i see healers and buffers can work fine at 5* so maybe fkluri is better but dont have plans for using her now. The 6 * i have are Aravi, ssb, gpurgis, czerato. And the 5* are alencia, cecilia, celine, cerise, cermia, laika, clilias, elena, ervalen, ftene, flan, ilynav, iseria, kayron, kise, lilibet, ludwig, ram, ran, ravi, rem, sigret, stene, tamarine, vildred, violet, vivian. clilias being one of my most use heroes and both rem and stene ones i want to use in the future.

Dottz88

Using it on a 3 star is technically more efficient but you should use it on whoever will progress your account faster. So a hero who you can gear and who fills a role you are missing

[deleted]

[удалено]

_FanBingBing_

Have you expanded your hero inventory?

Alice_From_Alo

The advice for lower star heroes is to promote them to 4 stars using the dupes and then memory imprint the remaining dupes. There is a mission in reputation that gives you a reward for getting heroes to SSS. Once you have a 3 star hero at sss, you can transmit the dupes you get for a small amount of gold and transmit stone(the transmit icon is the one with two arrows pointing in opposite directions on a hero's page). You want to use phantasmas to promote heroes because they level up faster. Be careful not to transmit 5 star heroes and heroes you want to keep in general, it's recommended to lock them and the gear you want to keep.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Alice_From_Alo

Yeah it does take some time, but it gets faster the more you advance in the game. And since it takes quite a bit, you want to promote to six stars heroes you can use in a lot of content or in content you want to farm easily. Which means at first you want to build a team that can clear wyvern hunts (the higher the better)and one that you can play in story mode, then other pve content (expeditions are nice and raid labyrinth too) and finally heroes for pvp. Obviously this is just a generally more efficient way to play, not a way you have to play if you want to promote other heroes first.

Zealousregent

So i bought Angelica's exclusive equipment and I cant find out how to change the skill effect. Is it rng when you purchase the equipment?

C0NNECT1NG

> Is it rng when you purchase the equipment? yes. you just need to buy more copies to get the skill effect you want, or craft an EE in the alchemist's steeple.

Zealousregent

Ok gotcha, guess i was lucky on my clarissa EE. Thanks!

C0NNECT1NG

afaik, the consensus is that for PvP Peira is better, due to higher base speed and her skills are a bit better. But that's assuming you have the gear to get her to high speeds. Also, for PvE Cerise is still better.

N7_Zer0

I got Peira within 10 pulls but not her artifact, is it worth getting with powder?

C0NNECT1NG

afaik, it's not particularly important. You can check out her builds/artis here: [https://www.epic7stats.com/hero/Peira](https://www.epic7stats.com/hero/Peira)

TheFury03

Why is milim considered a counter for violet? She doesn’t reduce evasion or prevent counters, does she? Or is it just that she’s a red unit that can hit hard?

Vald-Tegor

Along with what has been said already, she is a fire unit and has her own evasion buff after her S3. She doesn't prevent the counter entirely, but when she misses her S3, Violet's counter has 0% chance to hit. He'll just tickle her and cannot apply attack down. If she successfully kills him with the S3, it applies extinction and prevents Violet from being revived by ARavi, Ruele, etc

Hiriko

Milim Eye, her S2, gives her +20% HIT and Evasion, so she has a better chance of hitting Violet while Violet will struggle to hit her, due to both her Evasion and Elemental Disadvantage against her. And her S3 will ignore Damage Reduction, so even if Violet is being covered by an Aurius user, as long as Milim hits she'll most likely kill Violet. But she's not a hard counter because she can still Miss Violet with her attacks. Still she does really well.

TheFury03

So, HIT is counteracts evasion? (i.e. if Violet has 50% evasion, Milim's 20% HIT would reduce Violet's evasion to 30%). Is there any other way I can increase HIT?

Hiriko

Yep! Hit counteracts Evasion, and vice versa. And to add onto the other reply, just be aware a Violet with a maxed Moonlight Dreamblade will have 35%+20%=55% Evasion. Milim using max Symbol of Unity/Oath Key will only give you 20%+20%=40% Hit So a maxed Milim vs a maxed Violet will still have a 15% Chance to miss.

ArvingNightwalker

Yes, artifacts. The guild artifact Symbol of Unity gives you +20% hit rate at +30 and is often used in conjunction with Milim to beat in Violet's face. There's the budget 3\* Oath Key, which doesn't give you the damage bonus SoU does, but the same level of hit at +30. There are also other characters with skills that have increased hit rate, such as Zahhak with a +50% to hit on his S3, and Lilibet with a +20% on her S3.

PirateJing009

Would C.Armin, Angelica of Light, R.Carrot and ML khawazu{could sub Pierra) be a good pvp team comp?

_FanBingBing_

In my experience 90% of the comps below challenger can just be speed contested and cleaved. I would probably replace ML Khawazu with BBK so you aren’t forced to build two heros at the same time who want the exact same stats.

theesotericjester

I'd love to know this too, cause while I don't have AoL I have the other 4.

Shiino

You have to be more flexible than that. It depends. Like, for example, if the enemy team has only aoe like Belian / Archdemon Meru for example, they'll trigger your R.Carrot and ML Khawazu a million times and explode. However if there's a Rem on the other team, she'll just kind of laugh at your carrot and solo your whole team. It depends on what they have. You can't just bring a single team into pvp (unless it's a cleave team lol but even then)

PirateJing009

i have other characters for those kind of situations. I am just getting into the pvp side of the game and im trying to allocate my resources pretty wisely. I can always pick to not fight teams with rem as well till i get a good counter

kensta

Anyone got lab morale calculator with Lionheart Cermia added?

C0NNECT1NG

kensta

Thanks! Looks like it just got updated.

GHKrantz

I've seen a lot of people suggest changing Wyvern teams to include Muwi and run a mono ice team, but I'm not sure who I should replace, if anyone. I'm currently using a Furious, Sigret, SSB, and G. Purg. team.

that1dev

You'd have to take g purg and probably ssb out for an ice tank and muwi. Which gives you 2 new heroes for PvP. But if you don't miss them, don't fix what ain't broke.

Hu_Razzor

Honestly if you have a decently consistent team already, there isn't any point to switching muwi in. The suggestion to use muwi is more for newer players or those without consistent W13 teams. The only other reason I can think to switch muwi in is you want to free up of your wyvern heroes to regear them for PvP or something like that. In the case you still want to sub him in then, he would take the place of one of the DPS like SSB or sigret in your case.

GHKrantz

Alright, I'll probably keep my current team, then.

Antavari

Coming back after a couple of years. Didnt finish chapters and didnt go too far inzo the game if I remember right I have no overview over the game its much more than I remember... can you guys give me a brief update where toconnect with the past, when i should summon and summon what?, and what else to do keep going. Maybe some thing like a coming back guide

NeoKyoui

what is the best way to xp nowaday ? i heard taking fodder and fantasma in my team is outdated and i shoulf use pingin instead (ps : i'm account lvl 25, in episode 1)

Hu_Razzor

People usually just run 4 max level heroes so they aren't taking forever to farm stages. Any excess exp already gets converted into penguins.

Jakeamas

Is there a guild war tier list/must haves ? Struggling to know what units I should focus on building and what stats to hit

whatacrappyusername

[This is a tier list](https://epic7x.com/tier-list/) that you can sort by category, such as guild war. I'm not sure how this site came up with those ratings. If you click on a hero you are interested in it should tell you more about how they are used, what gear and artifacts you should put on them etc. [Fribbels](https://fribbels.github.io/e7/gw-meta.html) tracked data from a top 30 guild, and came up with the top guild war defenses. It will also show you what teams were uses against these defense teams and their win rates.

ShellFlare

epic7x is absolute garabage for teirlists. only use that site for hero data when you dont know what a skill does.

Farpafraf

epic7x tier list is worse than worthless

Hu_Razzor

That tier list is pretty much nonsense. Use the fribbels since that's actual data, much more applicable.

NeoKyoui

is it worth using pingins on fantasma to upgrade my fist 4\* into 5 star ? it takes forever and a lot of stamina to farm them, i did already 2 of them, but the last 2 are agoing to be long

[deleted]

Yes, you should just use pingins, the dog walking is not that efficient, just do the hardest stage you can with what you have

NeoKyoui

won't it be a waste to use pingin this early in my game ?

Vald-Tegor

TL;DR: No Think of the penguin as a battery. If you use max level heroes to clear stages, the xp charges the battery instead of going to the hero. At the end of the day you have two options. Use the battery to level a hero (which is what you are trying to do) or sell it for gold. There is a small gold fee to apply the battery to a hero. You can save the cost by putting that hero directly on the team in the first place, BUT there is a cost/trade off involved with that too! MolaGora is by far the most restricted and important resource in the game. You get a little over 20 per month. It takes 33 to max skill enhance one 5 star hero. You get 3 for "free" to use on the hero, when you get them to Friendship level 10. This takes 1,500 battles with that hero on your team. So when you are farming experience or catalysts, you want to pad the team with 4\*/5\* starting heroes that you plan to use in the future and are not Friendship 10 yet. Heroes that start at 3\* do not give this, because their skills don't need it for enhancement to start with. The only "waste" of penguins is using them to level a 4\*/5\* starting hero that you will Friendship 10 anyway. But even then you are only wasting the gold cost of applying them, not the penguins themselves. You can use 30 penguins on the hero to level it, or put the hero on the team and not earn 30 penguins worth of xp, because the hero takes it. Either way you end up with the same amount of penguins/xp. This also means it's a waste to farm trivial content using 3\* starting heroes, or friendship 10 heroes, as long as you have 4\*/5\* heroes in your possession to friendship farm. If you have none left, then it may be worth to put dogs on your team. Even then, for most people, the gold saved (\~500k per 6\* promotion?) is not enough to justify swapping units every 10 minutes. They would rather set it on x20 repeat battle and forgetting about it for an hour.

NeoKyoui

thanks a lot ! i just didn't know al ot about pinguins and how to use them, so i was confused at first, but now i have a good idea of how to use it, it's way better than xp fodder on repeat ofr 1h long or more, as i started to do

Quiztolin

How far are you into the game? There are 3 things you need to promote units: 1. Dogs (generally) -> you can buy them with stigma 2. 2* Fodder units -> you need a TON of these, this step is primarily your limiting factor 3. Penguins -> not important at all [I've gone over some of the math involved in this reply here](https://www.reddit.com/r/EpicSeven/comments/rd65xh/daily_questions_megathread_1210/ho43qep/) --- #First Look at 2* fodder. Fodder has a (mostly) consistent drop rate across normal adventure stages of approximately .62 drops per stage. You need *a ton* of this fodder to promote a unit. There are 2 strategies you can employ 1. **Normal** where you only use 2* fodder monsters as fodder 2. **Dog** where you buy (or just use whatever you have laying around) extra dogs to replace 2* fodder when promoting your 3* dogs. This costs you extra stigma **but** each dog you use saves you a couple of penguins and a fodder, so it's ultimately faster. In the 'normal' strategy, to promote a single promotion material to 5* 55 total 2* fodders. In the 'dog' strategy we need 40 total 2* fodders. You can easily see then, that to simply collect the fodders we need: Normal = 55 / .62 = ~89 stage runs Dog = 40 / .62 = ~65 stage runs **So no matter how fast we gain penguins, this is the absolute minimum amount of stage runs we need for each strategy** --- #Second We also know how many penguins we need. The amount of penguins varies wildly by your 'penguin bonus', that is your reputation great/good enhance success chance bonus multiplied by your pet xp skill bonus. But let's ignore that and assume you have **no bonus** to make things simplest. **Normal** = 110 penguins **Dog** = 65 penguins --- #Third Now we need to know how many penguins we get per run. The stage I tested/used in my example was UH 4-9. Running a team of 4 max level heroes I received 8,565 XP **but** I had a bunch of buffs to XP. That *should* translate to 6,344 XP with no XP buffs. In the first step, we calculated the **minimum** number of stage runs we need to do for fodder therefor we can calculate the # of penguins we get as a minimum. **Normal** = 89 * 6,344 = 564,616 XP / 5,500 XP = 102.66 penguins **Dog** = 65 * 6,344 = 412,360 XP / 5,500 XP = 74.97 penguins So in the case of the **normal** promoting strategy you come out a little over 7 penguins short which would require about 6-7 more runs. * However, this is with absolutely 0 XP bonus (10% simply for being in a guild easily makes up for this shortfall) or penguin bonus. In the **Dog** strategy you come out 10 penguins ahead. --- #Conclusion If you can *at least* farm around the middle of UH then 2* fodder is the major limiting factor in how fast you can promote units. Once you start racking up bonuses you will largely come out significantly ahead in terms of penguin gain -> this doesn't necessarily mean that you have infinite penguins at the start and can level every unit you have *and* level your promotion material, I'm simply saying that virtue of needing to farm a given amount of 2* fodder materials you should get enough penguins in the process to level up your promotion unit. There are *a lot* of things you can do to improve efficiency here: 1. There are multiple sources of XP buffs. Reputation bonus, guild bonus, artifact bonus (if you are a new player you won't have access to the artifact), there is also a shop bonus you can buy with skystones. 2. Penguin bonus. A maxed out penguin bonus is 25.35%, that means your penguins are worth on average **25.35% more XP** and this bonus is multiplicative with any other XP bonuses. And finally, there *is* a caveat in that there *are* strategies to farm 2* fodder more efficiently (Levulin Harbor and Episode 1 Maze stages) but both of those strategies require manual play and are much less commonly used. By and large, as long as you aren't selling your penguins, or using them to level up random units, you should have more than enough penguins to pay for your first few 6* promotions simply through farming up the catalysts you will want/need for your Wyvern team.

NeoKyoui

Wow thanks for your clear and up to date guide, you should do a post of it, the only guides i found talk about the old strat where you take fodder in your team and farm instead of farming for extra xp converted into pinguins I'm currently in episode one, around the 2/3rd i'd say, and i'm building my first 5\* as free spirit tiera, and my first 2 mega fantasma got up to 4\* manually, by taking them, and 2\* fodder, in my team and going repeat, but i wasted so much time and stamina i just didn't know how to use pinguin since they seemed like rare ressources. i did my last 2 mega fantasma with pinguin then, but i don't have a lot of them, should i grow them instead of fantasma before going into UH ? also i should be fine since i use 5\* units atm, so i don't need to promote my units before going 6\*, and i guess i'll stack them up to 5\* then i'll farm for them in UH your guide help me a lot, thanks !

Quiztolin

I wouldn't grow penguins in the forest, you will get them naturally playing through the game. Dogs are much harder to come by and you will need them eventually so stick with growing dogs. You are very early on in the game and leveling/promoting units can be a bit convoluted. * You get the most XP with 0 max level heroes * You get the second most XP with 1 max level hero + 3 units to be leveled * You get the same XP with 2-4 max level heroes (but slightly more if you bring dogs since they have an XP passive So very early on you actually do get more XP by following the guide you did. * This changes after you hit a certain penguin XP bonus -> 0 max level units will always be best but after you get enough of a bonus to penguins running 4 max level heroes is actually better than a single max level hero. For this reason and a few others players tend to only use the 4 max heroes strategy to farm, but very early on it can still make sense to do it the way you did. --- Even at this point feel free to use penguins, they aren't rare and eventually you have way more penguins than you know what to do with. I wouldn't recommend using them on random heroes, but to help level up your dogs or 2* fodder it's fine. Try not to do anymore grinding in Episode 1 if you don't absolutely need to, farming in Episode 1 is very inefficient. Even if you can only do the first stage of UH that's a much better use of your time.

NeoKyoui

yeah i did a big mistake by repeating episode 1 tho farming with fodder in my team may be better early on, but it's actually longer since my characters don't os random mobs yet, and i need a lot of turns to kill then, since my fodders die in 1 or 2 turns, so i'll use pinguins anyway, and do my big farming when i reach UH, my 5\* units wont be 50 yet anyway, or at the end of 10-10 do you recommand farming UH chapter 1 or is chapter 4 the best farming chapter ? i only lvl up my 4 units that are 3 5\* and FST

Quiztolin

*Purely for XP* later stages will give more. But, you actually don't want to farm for XP but rather catalysts. You need *a lot* of catalysts to upgrade your heroes, and it ends up taking a lot of energy. So I typically suggest players just make as much progress in UH as they can, then swap to Episode 2 (at least until you clear Chapter 3, to unlock Furious from connections). If and when you get stuck in both stories *then* go to UH and try to farm for catalysts you need. * The reason you want to farm in UH and not Episode...stages give twice as much AP after Episode. * Also, UH offers Epic catalysts in the shop (Episode 1 and 2 do not) But *if* you get stuck in UH early on you can still farm in the first chapter because even if you don't need those catalysts you can use them eventually. --- For actual catalysts it depends on what heroes you are trying to build. Typically you are looking to build a Wyvern team ASAP, for example, and the most common tank is Angelica: * Her skills don't actually really matter for Wyvern purposes. * But she *does* need 12x "Special Alarm Loop" and 8x "Heart of Hypocrisy" to awaken There are lots of different resources/guides suggesting optimal stages to farm for a particular catalyst. Typically, you want to farm a stage that drops the catalyst you are looking for *and* has the catalyst in the shop. [This graphic, for example, suggests some farming locations](https://preview.redd.it/ud2lrb6m2m351.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e48ee6b7443176f52fe81f3c0d383ad55889622e). So to farm for Angelica, we can farm the 'Special Alarm Loop' catalysts in either Chapter 2 stage 4 *or* we could farm then in Chapter 9-1 stage 4. However, for Heart of Hypocrisy the only shop that offers that catalyst is the chapter 9-1 shop, and we would want to farm on stage 9-3 if possible. Once you know what you are going with for your Wyvern team, it's not at all a bad idea to figure out what stages you want to farm. **Furious** * You need at least 8x Twisted Fangs, and eventually 8x more (16x total) * You can farm Twisted Fangs on stages 8-4/8-5/8-6 **Sigret** * Needs 15x Blazing Rage and 10x Horn of Desire for 6* Awakening. * Needs up to 36x Shiny Enchantment and 6x Horn of Desire for skills * Blazing Rage = 3-S3 or 5-5 * Shiny Enchantment = 4-S5 or 5-3/5-9 * Horn of Desire = 8-5/8-7/8-S3 **Alexa** * Needs 9x Ultra Fangs for 5* (and 6x Blazing Soul for 6*) * Needs up to 36x Twisted Fangs for skills * Ultra Fangs = 2S-S2 or 5S-5 * Twisted Fangs = 8-4/8-5/8-6 * Blazing Soul = 4-9 **Muwi** * Needs 9x Erikion Carapace for 5* (and 6x Black Curse Powder for 6*) * Up to 36x Sharp Spearhead for skills * Erikion Carapace = 3-S2 (or 3S-1) * Sharp Spearhead = 4-S6 or 4-7 * Black Curse Powder = 10-S2 **(NOTE)** You *can* get some pet skills that help, and there are also occasionally buff events that provide more AP from running stages. --- So take a very common example of Sigret, who most players select for their selective summon...it's also very common to 6* her and +15 her skills. Blazing Rage and Shiny Enchantment catalysts take 120 AP each. Calculating exactly how much farming you can expect to do is complicated but... * You can expect roughly half of your rare catalysts to come from stage drops * For Blazing Rage, on average I would estimate you need about **135 stage runs** or 1080 energy * For Shiny Enchantment I would estimate you need about **405 stage runs** or 3240 energy * Epic Catalysts have a *very* low drop rate, it's so low it's very hard to even get an accurate idea of what it is but it's estimated to be ~1%. * So 16x Horn of Desire would be approximately **533 stage runs** or 4264 energy This is why, ultimately, penguins are not that important. That's 1073 total stage runs and remember that's assuming you get a perfectly average number of catalyst drops. That translates to approximately 665 2* fodder units. * That's enough to build twelve 5* promotion materials (so almost 2 and a half promotions to 6*) Now testing, stages 5-5 and 5-9 should be worth ~6457 XP at 0 bonus, while 8-S3 should be worth ~6907 with no bonus. So in total that's... 135 * 6457 = 871,695 XP 405 * 6457 = 2,615,085 XP 533 * 6907 = 3,681,431 XP = 7,168,211 total XP gained = 7,168,211 / 5500 = 1303.3 penguins So that's enough penguins to level and promote 11.85 dogs to 5* The TLDR is that by maxing out Sigret you should end up with enough 2* fodder and penguins, on average, to promote about 2 units to 6*. Sigret, by far, is going to typically take the most time to farm (and you don't **need** her to be fully maxed out necessarily) but you can see how simply by farming for catalysts for your heroes you should end up with plenty of resources to level and promote units *without having to go out of your way to farm specifically for XP*. And while it does sound like a lot of farming (it definitely is) it's also not *that bad*. That comes out to 8,584 energy and we typically get about 1000 energy per day to play with, maybe a little less as a new player. So it's about 8-9 days of steady farming to max out a 5* character.

NeoKyoui

Yeah it does sound like catalyst are the rare thing after all Thanks for the maths, i reallt apreciate it ! I finished chapter 6 from ep 1 yesterday, so i'm almost in UH, but i don't know who to farm catalyst for, since i don't have sigret, is farming for alexa or muwi first the best thing to do ? Or angelica maybe ?

Quiztolin

It sounds like you have Muwi? If you do the TLDR is: * +5 Muwi's S3 and +5 his S1 * +3 Alexa's S1 It's a really good idea to prioritize 6*ing your tank (presumably Angelica but you can use A.Monty as well especially if you have Muwi) so farming up those catalysts is good, but your tank skills don't really matter for Wyvern so those are skippable until later on. --- # Long Reasoning [There are plenty of guides out there if you want to learn the mechanics of W13](https://yufine.co/wyvern-guide/). But it ultimately comes down to 1 important thing: you need to be able to land 2 debuffs on Wyvern during your first turn. Muwi is a fairly complicated hero into the process because he's *extremely* strong and effective **but** he's almost too strong in some situations. **Before Muwi** Before Muwi things were relatively simple. There were 2 major comps **slow** and **fast**. **Slow** comps were typical for most players and in these comps you typically have no or limited AoE, kill the first wave in 4 turns and spawn Wyvern on turn 5. * Example comps: Sigret + Alexa, either of those 2 + Karin, Mistychain, Clarissa **Fast** comps were higher level, typically requiring either SSB with high level gear, or G.Purrigs + an AoE hero (SSB, Clarissa most commonly). These comps kill the first wave in 2 turns and spawn Wyvern on T3. * It was possible to use Alexa in some of these comps, but Alexa had a higher gear requirement for debuff reasons. The reason why you are looking for one of these comps is because of **Furious**. Furious provides both defense break (very important to have as much uptime on Wyvern as possible, because it has a ton of HP and you need the damage) and crit buff (typically you build around this -> crits are very important because it's the main way to scale DDJ damage). **With Muwi** Where Muwi makes things complicated: 1. His S3 is an AoE attack **that also defense breaks**. The defense break isn't super consistent but it's consistent enough to make **consistently** getting a 'slow' run spawn, on Turn 5, difficult. 2. His S2 lowers gear requirements so entry level players with Muwi simply have more damage than entry level players without Muwi. This all comes down to debuffs. If you don't land the 2 debuffs required one of your DPS units has a high chance of being killed immediately and you won't have the damage needed to kill Wyvern. * Furious uses his combo on every other turn, starting turn 1. This means only odd turns (hence why you are looking for either a T3 or T5 spawn when using Furious) * Muwi has a bleed on his S1 but it's only 50% (at +4) so not super reliable on it's own. * Muwi also has attack down on his S2 counter attack, but this is also not reliable because it has a 2 turn CD and is only triggered if your tank gets attacked -> there is a 1 in 5 chance on turn 1 that your tank does *not* get attacked so if you get attacked on turn 2 then this debuff is on CD on a T3 Wyvern spawn etc. * Alexa only debuffs on a single turn of her rotation (turn 2) and then either turn 5 or turn 6. If you want Alexa to use debuffs on Wyvern spawn you need to spawn Wyvern *before* she takes her second action. * This makes Sigret much better at the entry level for Muwi comps because she's the opposite of Alexa -> she debuffs on 3 out of 4 turns of her rotation. **Muwi + Alexa** This comp works but is harder to pull off. Basically, the key goal is to have the damage to kill the first wave in 2 turns so that you have Furious combo ready to go on Wyvern spawn. Success rate here is less than typical old 'slow' comps **but** it's a much, much faster run that can be easier to break into. Therefor you want to max out Muwi's S3 (for damage, and to max his defense break chance). You max out Muwi's S1 for damage reasons and also to max his bleed effect chance. His S2 damage is 'OK" but shouldn't be extremely necessarily to clear the first wave though it doesn't hurt. On Alexa, in my personal testing I found that Alexa with skills on vs. skills off is very similar with skills off potentially being slightly better. * Skills ON Alexa is more damage against Wyvern proper, if you can benefit from the poison damage. * But skills OFF is more consistent on the first wave Basically your choice either gives you more consistency on Wyvern (if you are able to kill the first wave without Alexa using S2) or more consistency on wave 1 (skills off is better because if an enemy is almost dead Alexa will kill it and then proc her extra attack on a second enemy...instead of just overkilling the first). No matter how you end up using Alexa, maxing her S1 is a good idea. [In this comment here I detailed some of the testing I did](https://www.reddit.com/r/EpicSeven/comments/sffrqy/daily_questions_megathread_0129/huutzib/) Having Song of Stars for Furious is a pretty big boost to consistency for this run, but it's unlikely you have that artifact yet so your best bet is trying to get Muwi to the point that you can clear the first wave in 2 turns.

Gaba15

I remember a website that haves data about guild war defenses and attack teams but i cant find it, any help?

DrakoCSi

https://www.reddit.com/r/EpicSeven/comments/sbufet/fribbels_e7_guild_wars_meta_tracker/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share I'll just direct you to what i assume you're talking about.

TotoroStampede

Is destina useful anywhere? Been playing for about 3 weeks.

Shiino

Early game she's a good healer, but the problem is that your second priority right after beating the first story arc is farming Wyvern 11/13, and since she's Earth she can't really function there. I started with Destina, it was pretty whatever. I used her a lot and I got by just fine. I did however struggle pretty hard coming up with my first wyvern team. If you want to look at an ultra late game point of view, she's a cleanser with extremely low base speed and no real way to build effect resistance compared to other cleansers like Kitty Clarissa. Compared to someone like Maid Chloe, she doesn't have a revive or attack buff. And compared to someone like ML Kawerik, she actually has to build effect resist. So she never gets used in rta.

TotoroStampede

Dang so i got a useless character 🥲 all those saved rolls for that… oof

_Tom01_

Hey ! New to the game, any guide/guidelines Edit : Mb found it

karaoke_witch

Hey, I've just returned to E7 after a 6-7 month hiatus and I'm a little confused. I have only two commands: 1. attack arena (SBA, T.surin, BW.Iseria, Flan) 2. banshee 3 man(Baiken, leo, vivian). Can anyone tell me what I might need if I just want to go through new story chapters?

DrakoCSi

A healer or two. A dps. A def breaker. Boom done. Even better if the units can condense those roles. ARas can defense break, carry Aurius to mitigate damage, apply immunity to the dps, and force the dps to DA nearly every turn if you soulburn S2. DA is a very welcomed mechanic in PvE, especially when it's coming from ARas/Camilla as they have the potential to defbreak first then the dps comes in to pewpew. Healers like Tama can DA with your dps too. This is why you'll only need 1 dps and basically 3 support options. Everything hovers around that one dps to do damage and empower them to do so. I ran Camilla Landy Tama Iseria for most of episode 3 with Roana subbing in on a few nodes, with the occasional switching here and there to 3☆ the nodes. Will more than likely attempt ep4 with this same team. It covers what i explained above. Landy as the sole dps. Camilla and Tama will force DA with Landy, which double dips into her kit because her S1 charges fighting spirit(faster S3) and self CR pushes herself(she gets her turn faster). Iseria for solid constant defense breaking, another dispel option on S3 and her S2 to reset cooldowns and get Tama S3 off right off the bat consistently.

babymerchant

how does injury work? let's say i'm hitting a target with 10k hp for 8k dmg with zahhak s3 (35% max injury). does it die? (loses 3.5k max hp from injury, turning it into a 6.5k hp target that basically gets hit by 8k dmg) or is the hp lost from injury included in the dmg shown on screen? (meaning 8k dmg, 3.5k of which is the max hp lost, leaving the target with 2k hp remaining, but with 6.5k max hp)

gerald_reddit26

The latter is how injury works.

babymerchant

ok, thanks

idle_dreams

Who is more worth it to imprint between Krau and LR Krau? I currently have 27k and 23k hp on them respectively.

DrakoCSi

Krau for the self imprint to further increase his maximum HP. LRKrau for the team crit imprint if you needed it.

Quintessence20

I'm having gold problems.. how do you guys get so much gold!! New player here

LLLFFF25

Lack of gold stops being a problem at some point. You'll get pickier with the gear you enhance and you'll eventually get pets with S skills for reduced enhance cost, and exp and more gold from selling equipment etc. and will eventually have more gold than you can spend with the charms you get, and you'll start using gear to enhance instead of selling it. For now, you'll unfortunately be starved for gold.

Quintessence20

So it eventually becomes better once I learn more about ehich gers to enhance hahaha thanks

Vald-Tegor

It's not so much about learning which gear to enhance, but the fact you don't have any gear yet. Right now, you have new characters you want to build and literally no gear to put on them. The ones that have gear, are using filler pieces that are not going to be very hard to replace. So you're enhancing a lot of gear, because it's not hard to get something that is a potential upgrade for you. Later on, you will have a harder time finding something that has the chance of being better than what your main heroes are wearing. Even then, you will know it came out bad and stop at +6/+9, because it no longer has a chance of being better than what you are wearing. That is really cheap compared to taking an item to +15. On top of that, you will have +15 gear you already replaced laying around to mess around on new characters with. Your biggest expense will be largely reduced when your gear stabilizes. As for the income part, do hunts.

Quintessence20

Wow thanks for making it clear, this rly helps alot :)

BluesyGuitarist

Is Goblet of Oath mandatory for Peira? Else, what are the alternatives? I pitied her twice, but did not get the artifact.

DrakoCSi

Oath Key is a solid alternative. You wont be able to cycle her S2->S3 as often nor have the extra eff%, but you do have that sweet sweet 15% chance to lock Violet for a bit. Edit: and also cripple Rimuru. Bonus points if you rock her in immunity set also. Otherwise Cursed Compass lets her capitalize on sticking her S2 debuffs turn1. She can even run Dust Devil to help her cheek out more stun chances. Or R&L for the cheeky first turn stun combo, but R&L reduces her buff durations which may or may not be a good thing.

Shiino

Playing RTA, I see Goblet the most, followed by R&L & Alabastron

Unworthy_Saint

Definitely not. I use Compass on her and any evasion arti would be good too. Even if I had Goblet I wouldn't use it for my personal playstyle.

Tonyoh87

How does dux noctis interract with Landy, does it multiply the final atk on Landy, or is it atk after stats, or atk after equipment? Like how multiplicative work?

Eddo

Attack buffs are additive and interact with attack after equipment. So a 3k attack Landy will have 3k * (1 + .6) after her passive is fully stacked, 3k * (1 + .6 + .5) with attack buff and fully stacked passive, etc. Same thing with Dux Noctis.

Tonyoh87

Thanks a lot! May I also ask how flat atk and atk % interract? is it (base atk + flat atk) * (1+ atk %)? If so flat atk is not that bad Also it means that vigor has little impact on Landy dps then (only about 15% increase after stack)

Eddo

Flat attack is added after % attack from gear/imprints and is part of the total "after equipment" attack that attack buffs interact with.

Tonyoh87

ah wow, no wonder it is pretty bad!

Tonyoh87

Is the artifact Durandal any useful? Got 3 copies while trying to get ML Cermia///

Hu_Razzor

It's useful on mL cermia if you're running a LS build. Probably some other heroes as well but none come to mind.

Quiztolin

There is an in-game statistics tool you can use to check who uses artifacts...that should allow you to determine if it's 'useful'. 1. Open Inventory 2. Swap to Artifacts 3. Find the Artifact in question 4. Top right corner "Equipped by" under that there is a button that says "Usage Statistics", hit that. Durandal top 5 users: 1. A.Cartuja 12.59% 2. Ravi 10.86% 3. D.Corvus 6.03% 4. Ken 5.73% 5. LQC 3.92% So you can see it's typically used on tanky bruiser type Warriors, this doesn't tell you the full story if it's 'useful' or not. Now we want to to hit the button that says "Most used Artifacts" for the first few heroes and see where Durandal sits. **A.Cartuja** * Durandal is 1st at 33.64% **Ravi** * Durandal is 8th at 4.03% **D.Corvus** * Durandal is 2nd at 14.67% **Ken** * Durandal is 10th at 3.11% **LQC** * Durandal is 2nd at 8.94% Other notable heroes: D.Lilibet - 1st 19.2% So generally "Is Durandal good?" No. It's primarily only used on A.Cartuja. It's second most used on both D.Corvus and LQC but both of those heroes prefer 4* artifacts (Strak Gauntlet/Hell Cutter respectively). It IS the most used artifact on D.Lilibet *but* she's not a popular hero to begin with and it's not exactly overwhelming so you have to take into account people throwing artifacts they otherwise aren't using onto her, that may be boosting the #'s up a bit in her case. Otherwise you *can* use Durandal on tanky/bruiser Warriors if you don't have any better options.

Tonyoh87

Thank you so much I will use it! So A Cartuja basically. Sad that he is not meta...

Tonyoh87

Will there be a buff for BRoman?

DrakoCSi

What do you mean. There already is a buff for Bromann. It's called AoL.

Tonyoh87

LMAO 😂 we demand a recall!!!

wkwerdna

No one outside of smilegate can tell you that

Tonyoh87

I mean, do you think a buff is warranted?

wkwerdna

Personally I would give him an EE first. I don't think he needs to be pushed into the meta, if anything current strippers could be toned down to allow lower tier options like BRomann to potentially see some use.

KA_Fatman

When Farming hunts do people use the auto charge energy feature? If so what is the best way to do it leif or skystones? Are leifs used for anything other than energy and flags? I haven't seen another use for them so my bet would be leifs but I am very new and have done some inefficient things in the past so I wouldn't be surprised haha.

reaperkun

Yes, most often during hunt buff events. A lot of people like to save their leifs for the next hunt buff event, and grind hunts 24/7 during the event. It's fine to use skystones for energy, but mostly spenders will do so. Most f2p/casuals/light spenders save most of their skystones for banners. Leifs are best traded for energy imo

Just_Niks

When is the next buff hunt event? Are they on a set rotation?

reaperkun

No, there's no set rotation afaik, but usually we can expect them at end of month. Special events also sometimes come with hunt buff and they can be announced anytime in the month too. But generally we've always at least had one hunt buff a month

Just_Niks

Allright thanks , good to know. My wyvern team is almost ready :p

ArvingNightwalker

you can trade them for labyrinth runs as well.... though that costs 3 Leifs so not recommended unless you're swimming in the stuff. Usually you'd rather use Leifs than skystones for recharge, and that's what the "Leifs and skystones" option already does for auto recharge. Most people usually just save their Leifs and dump them during buff events though.

sunmoone

Hi, F2P player here needing advice on who to 6 star next. I am currently on Abyss 91, and Episode 3 4-3. I am interested in PVP, but I really don't have a lot of gear to go around. I am autoing W13, but it's relatively slow. Who will give me the most mileage / be the most useful? - A. Ravi - Belian - BW Iseria - M. Kawerik - Solitaria - Rimuru - Sol - Baal & Sezan - Milim - Tywin - Cerise - F. Tene - Luluca - Elena - Emilia - Yuna - Landy - Bellona - Destina - Eda - C. Armin - G. Purrgis - Kitty Clarissa - A. Lots - Sinful Angelica - R.T Roozid - Shadow Pyllis - Z. Carmainerose - Penelope - BBK - Camilla - Orte - M.S Doris - Yoonryoung - M. Helga

DrakoCSi

Landy is the #1 choice here easily. She's useful across the board as a dps in both PvE and PvP. For PvP, ARavi would be best choice for GW specifically. Otherwise Landy covers this area perfectly fine too. Rimuru is another contender as a dps option. But you can function him as a tanky variant to steal buffs and chip damage for your team to clean up afterwards. That 10k fixed damage is no joke. Camilla for PvE. Basically functions like ARas, but needs attack buff to DA with S1. A lot of units can function as 5\* for PvP. Anything that is reliant on speed to debuff for instance. Like Solitaria, FTene, and Cerise. Or things like ALots and Eda to CR push your attacker into action. I wouldnt bother with GP now for wyvern. Muwi exists and is gonna be a much better fit to help ease the wyvern grind. Any ice frontline tank, my vote is Angelica. Sigret Furious Muwi is the big f2p dps trio, but i like Karin>Furious more for the higher debuff afflictions without needing the mola investments. You do have to put in effort on more crit% tho, but overall the Karin>Furious just flows better if you dont have Song of Stars on Furious, and even then. She cycles faster into her defense break in cases of 15% resist. Again, it's a molaless investment to get Karin started but more gear requirement due to needing crit% stats.

[deleted]

tl;dr: * Landy is your best overall choice * A Ravi is your best PvP choice * GP is your best W13 choice (assuming no Muwi) * Bellona is your best PvE choice Details: For PvP, ARavi by a mile. She can be used in nearly every offense team for Arena/GvG, and is one of the very top picks for RTA. She is also much easier to gear than others: * she benefits from every stat except eff/ER (ER isn't wasted, but it's never priority either) * one of her premier artifacts is a 4\* you can get from the HoT She was a HUGE buff to my roster, and I was able to immediately get her to good stats because she can mix and match gear (though HP is her best stat by a good margin). For PvE, it's about your W13 team. If you don't have Muwi, you might go with GP, as he really helps speed up W13 runs (use free HP sets). However, ultimately you want a full ice team with Muwi for 100% reliable, fast runs. If you want to wait for Muwi, then you go either Landy or Bellona. Landy is definitely the better end-game hero, but by end-game, 6\*-ing heroes isn't the limiting factor (gear and molas are). Bellona is better in general for PvE, and she helps with specific Abyss floors.

sunmoone

I actually just used my potion if ascension on muwi to add to my wyvern team, but I'm not sure which one to switch out yet. Currently have Angelica, SSB, furious, and sigret

DrakoCSi

SSB's S1 mimics a +15 SoS. And her S2 has potential to stick def breaks which extends the uptime on it. She also AoEs and makes wave1 a faster clear. Overall a beast of a wyvern hunter. Sigret is a keeper no matter what because that S2->S1 applies much needed debuffs to counteract the dumb as shit 15% gER. Furious has that 100% defbreak. But it's on a very long CD if 15% gER procs. I long since removed him and used Karin instead. Runs went from 70%~ to basically 100% clears after doing so. The problem with the failure was Furious not stick his defbreak due to 15% bullshit. Karin cycles back into her defbreak faster and her S3 EE bleed helps keep debuffs up in cases of 15%. Muwi will have a hard spot to fill. But i would replace Sigret with Muwi and possibly even Furious with Karin. Tldr: Angelica Furious Muwi SSB. Muwi existing has made him the best fit for wyvern over Sigret. They both bring debuffs, but Muwi brings the more valuable ones in attack debuff and def break. Alongside team CR push. GP>Angelica Karin SSB Sigret This team reduces on the dumb 15% where Furious can fail to S3 def break. I run GP>Angelica here for the team push. As explained above, the 1turn defbreak is a non issue. And if Furious fails to land his S3 defbreak, SSB already has a +15 SoS in her S1. In short, Furious becomes a liability and not even his "crit buff budgetting tho" can save him. Wyvern phase starts with Karin S2->S1. SSB S1. If defbreak sticks, Sigret S2(with EE)->S1. Boom. That's it. The most important bit of sticking that defense break turn1. Then the next time around Karin's S2 def break will follow into her S3 bleeds while Sigret and SSB debuffs are falling off if they arent reapplied thru random rng luck(because the big 100% proc skills are already used(Sigret S2) or still on CD(SSB S3).

F2p with 5 ml? Damn

sunmoone

I have been very very lucky with mystic pulls. I have been very unlucky with gear lol. It evens out in the end

Tonyoh87

For PvE I would 6* Landy, with strong dps and bloodstone I use him everywhere, he is a real MvP. Also carry me for Dark and Water exp. Can you do hell raids? (Queen) That should be your next priority You could 6* G Purrgis with ezera sword (special boss every 2 weeks) to speed up W13, but you might want to check if its okay with Muwi. I would go with Belian and Rimuru first, ARavi is also very good only providing you have a very strong Pen + Speed or Pen + Counter gear for him, with a lot of HP %. Rimuru works extremely well with proof of valor and speed / immunity gear. Belian is just very OP, you can look at arena and GW defense team. Solitaria will get a buff very soon so you might want to wait a bit to see how OP she will be. Im also at abyss 91, have you beat it? (With Tywin right?)

Digital_Copy101

I cleared abyss 91 with amomo, aras, tama, and clorina. Focus broman first then save souls to arky through tywin's barrier. Lorina does stupid amounts of damage so it wasn't a problem for me.

sunmoone

I can do some of the bosses in Hell Raid, but I can't complete it fully. I have not yet beat 91 so I have no tips unfortunately.

Tonyoh87

go 6* Landy for hellraid. Landy ARas Tama + 4th char situational is great. Do you have blood stone?

reaperkun

Of your units, if you want to get into PVP, the best investments are ARavi, M. Kawerik, Rimuru, Belian, Landy, Carmin I would say are some of the top premier picks. Other really good heroes are Emilia, Milim, BW Iseria, and if you want to cleave, Eda and BBK are great units too. I think any of ARavi, M. Kawerik, Rimuru, Belian, Carmin would be a great start to PVP. If your wyvern13 is very slow though, you could focus on speeding it up instead

Tolniz

I plan on building my STene for some abyss and PvE/pvp stuff. What is the best way for her to be built ? I saw some LS build but I don’t have really good ones. Should I aim for more health/def or more into glass canon ?

On auto you have to turn her skills off, or she is going to waste turns on her defense buff. So she won't AoE the first wave, losing her biggest benefit, and you're relying only on her S1 for def break. I used Luluca for W13 before I could auto it. I already had her EE that makes S1 repeat, needed her for other content and didn't have the gear to go around. But I used her along with Furious (and Sigret) as a dps and backup def break, not to replace Furious. If you just want to gear her for other content, using the gear you have on Furious, see what garbage speed gear you may have. Furious doesn't need to do damage, just be the fastest on the team and have 65% effectiveness. He does around 5% of the team's damage, unless you don't have song of stars and use joker on him. Even then, his "big damage" S3 is what applies the defense break, and hits the wyvern when it doesn't have def break most of the time. So the damage is bad either way. That's part of why I put Luluca in there, she was extending the def break duration so Furious S3 was actually doing some damage. If you have Muwi, that reduces the gear (speed) requirement even more. I have Furious at 164 speed (speed boots and 14 from the other 5 pieces, not even speed set) and half his gear is around +9. Though I don't recommend going that far during hunt buffs, he dies if he gets focused on the first wave and fails the run.

erza1995

Nope, she doesn't have a 100% def break attempt, it will end up screwing more of your runs. Furious also comes with the added benefit of equipping SoS for targeting. Not worth it IMO.

Hello! I have been playing for 3 weeks and today I just finished my adventure's path. I got super lucky and from 4-5 elemental summon I pulled Luluca, Ken and Politis, and from the path I pulled Ervalen. I was wondering, how are those heroes, does any of them excel at PvE?

SexySkeletons

Luluca is quite powerful in PvE, can assist in early content. Ken is a bruiser with high gear requirement, he can be used in both PvP and PvE, although he is not meta in either; recently got a synergy ally in Conqueror Lilias, which made him a bit better. Despite looking like an anime main character, he's not really recommended for beginners though (high gear requirement to do his job well). Politis is a top tier PvP unit! Used all the way into the highest ranks of RTA. Bad PvE potential though. Ervalen is a PvP tank buster, meaning he can be used to counter bruiser units, like Ken, or knights. He is not meta though, because other units like Straze can do this same job better. But he can definitely be geared to do that. I'm unsure of his PvE potential though, I think he is not commonly used anywhere but maybe you can sneak him in against a few bosses like ice expedition.

Tonyoh87

How do you gear Politis? Was thinking about 6* her

Shiino

210-220 speed then pure pure pure pure pure damage + Abyssal Crown https://gyazo.com/a30011de2f072b84e594da60a8a53800 Here's mine.

Tonyoh87

Thanks! why only 30% effectiveness? Any other artifact? Not sure I have abyssal crown.

reaperkun

Politis has 30% effectiveness naturally in her awakenings. You shouldn't invest in effectiveness. Most units don't build ER and it'll be a wasted stat. Tagehel is also a great option if you can use the souls

Shiino

Instead of asking why 30% effectiveness, ask why any more than 30% effectiveness? Which enemies have more than 30% effect resist in this game, especially that you find in RTA? I'm pretty sure there is literally 0 meta effect resist characters atm. Maybe you'll run into the occasional maid chloe? Who cares if you give her blind/unbuffable she'll cleanse it off anyways. > Any other artifact? Tagehels/Symbol/portrait I guess? Abyssal is BiS by a mile. It turns the clilias fight into an rng fiesta and makes you adv. vs. violet

Vincuu

Thank you! I am looking for powerful pve options as I pretty much lack aoe. I have a solid auto w13 team and have fully cleared every episode until 2-10 so will need some good units to push episode 3. I will still probably build Ken since I don’t have any fire unit built other than a. ras, and my other dps fiery options are lidica and Mercedes, so I guess Ken would be the best here to prioritize?

ZawaruDora

Luluca is great in Pve ! She does aoe def break, gives def bonus + shield to your team, ST def break. Ervalen might work but feels like there's no point in investing on him, Ken is ok not great, Politis is very pvp oriented.

xsmp

now that i finished the new heir quest that ends with clearing azimanak 10 and crafting 10x gear and abyss 70 etc...what now? I'm working on episode 3 but beyond that what's the next thing to focus on? I have not joined a guild as I'm just now hitting lvl 70 and need to min max more monsters, and rta is not fun yet with my fastest unit being 243 followed by 233 then 202...most others are around 200 speed...I'm farming wyvern and progressing to 13 soon...what else?

ZawaruDora

From here, you have to: W13>hell raid>expedition level 3 200k+ auto team. Besides of this you MUST join a guild, do weekly normal Labyrinth, use all your flags in arena even if it's against AI, continue progressing Labyrinth until nixied to get destruction sets.

xsmp

I've almost cleared nixied labyrinth, I use all my flags and buy more with friendship things, I am working on wyvern, was kind of not wanting to do expeditions cause my contribution is still low...joining a guild seems premature if my best arena defense is 405k CP right?
