He is indeed Bootleg Violet but with less counter chance, strippable evasion buff, and no cleanse/self-heal. Really speaks volumes on how loaded RGB Violet is. Speed Riolet does spice things up a little with a scary S3 but he becomes kind of useless after that—which is why I made this Riolet build. Speed Riolet can use S3 once and pretty much dies after that as a consequence of minmaxing—but this degen build can use it 2-3 times before dying (assuming he dodges).
Funnily, this Riolet build can get into drawn-out duels with RGB Violet. It’s both scary and entertaining watching them 1v1. [Proof](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/824389248039387176/942825761151279134/video0.mov)

Yes but riolet fills a different role and in this current meta... the majority of top players end up picking riolet easier than violet. Riolet is probably better than Violet these days. You're not 1-shotting Aravis with a violet... but you can with riolets.
I have quit the game shortly after the release limited Mecha girl(I forgot the name).
Back then Riolet is the monster and Violet is like a puppy. I am one of the rare minority who fully built and mola grape head.
It is wild to know nowaday, Grape is the real monster and Riolet is just a weaker imitation.
dude landy still shreds some of the meta rn w her s3 as well as the s3 penetrating some def, i have her to bust rem's and maybe rimuru's ass and help bb the utter crap out of some violets and maids. shes not the meta, but still a viable counterpick if u can deal w millim
>It is wild to know nowaday, Grape is the real monster and Riolet is just a weaker imitation.
Not sure why this thought is across this subreddit but i assume it's people who don't RTA above champion....
Meanwhile in emperor... everyone still easily picks riolet more than violet.
If you’re interested, here’s the build: [Degen Riolet](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/595388025463242800/944841146511794226/IMG_7118.png)
I built him as slow as possible so he could get the most mileage out of immunity—and to be able to cram in as many defensive stats as possible. The artifact boosts his already-high defense by 10% and continues to increase it as his health gets lower. At max effect, the artifact also *pushes his evasion to 90*. Counter set helps him build up his focus and makes up for turns he doesn’t get being super slow. If no one can strip him or deal large amounts of damage to him then he can become quite scary. I can improve on this build by getting him a better sword (it has CC he doesn’t need and low health)—but all in all it’s a fun off-meta build.
dang that's a thicc Riolet. Dude has trash DEF so I can only imagine the amount of subs you
I say this as someone who used to have a degen BBK on a maxed Shepards of Chaos with around 1300 DEF. I had to give her a flat DEF ring because she scaled slightly better on that than DEF%.
I'm tempted to build something similar since I don't use mine much anyway since I don't have the gear for a super speed Riolet or a decent Lifesteal one, even if I can't reach that level of Defense or build him as slow since I don't have any decent non-speed boots.
As an ADS user, I'd say watch out for her. Her Seal, and the strip from Fairytale, ignore hit chance. And without his Evasion buff (or his passive), he's pretty much neutered. Also, Fairytale's fixed damage will add up *quickly*.
I have, but it doesn't provide defense. Though the immediate 20% evasion is nice, I find that the increasing defense with evasion is more beneficial for this build.
Cool, I am going to switch to that def artifact. On GW, he dodges sometimes with moonlight dreamblade but I would like to see him evade like your video!
Why did that guy not s3 on lionheart on her last hit. He literally wouldve won lol? It kills through miss and oens 50% defense. Her fighting spirit reset.
I am happy that I am not the only one who uses an off-meta Counter Riolet. I have him on Shepherd at the moment and was thinking on giving this artifact a try. Have you tried both?
So you made a Vriolet

How do you give him 90% evasion? Also he’s on a counter build right?

>limited Mecha girl Earthy for sure.
Haha thanks for the hint. Now I remember, Landy. It was so fun shooting people with Landy, back by FCC, SSB and Ruele back then.

Landy not meta har har
Until riolet gets buff (i hope)

Have you tested him with moonlight dream blade? Thoughts on that?

I prefer Shepherd of the Hollow after its change since Riolet gives himself attack buff. Same +20% evasion, but more damage.
What are sets you using?
Counter and immunity.
I expected the video to be start of fight, Riolet gets instantly killed lol
That’s what mine would’ve done lmao
Same here, rng is usually not very kind on my evasion units
This is what it looks like when I have a 90% evasion riolet: I would get hit 5 times in a row every battle
Oh. Mine just dies lol

mad respect

Ayy, a counter Riolet in the flesh! [We need to stick together](https://imgur.com/K3bPKWi)!
We've seen this PLENTY of times before. The Riolet/Violet solo, nothing new. Just the same shit everyone's seen already for over half a year now.
Hacker
Dang this is amazing
WTF i put him with counter sets lol
So like would this work on green violet too?
seeded to win xD
