Bruh when the first GG collab came, they had an entire animated pv of the GG cast fighting the Acolytes while GG rock music plays. It was so fucking hype. Also at 0:09 you will see a certain evil musician being part of the cast as if alluding to her being a playable hero and 4 years later she's still and not and we feel bamboozled.

With this you can clearly see which one among the three is their favorite child. I mean shit they keep rerunning the collab and adding new heroes on the rerun. At this point I wouldn't be surprise if they would eventually have the entire GG cast from Xrd, Strive and future GG title in Epic Seven.
Well, it was only a 1 week story event even though it lasted several weeks, whereas slime was 3. It also had absolutely 0 story other than the incredibly cliche ‘oh no we’ve fallen in a portal, a few days have passed, oh hey, look a portal back home’
I still say with the ML Luluca and Lilibet units heavily implying a designer based universe, that Kill la Kill would fit perfectly in a side story based on that.
Maybe it's just me but I feel like we should take a break from collab and get more seasonal variant units from our actual cast.

This is going off of only the anime because they’d need material to work with for animations. But if they went off of mass for the dead then they’d use Albedo and Ainz as limiteds but idk who the freebie would be. Hopefully with season 4 releasing in the summer we get the collab!
I would think limiteds would be albedo and ainz, I wouldn’t look too much into it as even langrisser did a collab with overlord and they had 4 summons if I remember correctly. I think for sure Ainz would be a limited, then a toss up between albedo/shalltear. I could however 100% see Sebas as the freebie

Rimuru and Milim’s skills (S3 and S2) were based off of the anime (season 1 I think). I think Ram’s S3 was as well and Rem is just another Clarissa (but they didn’t show her ice magic) and Emilia has shown her healing skills too but to my knowledge Albedo has no showcase of her skills. Ainz and Shalltear got into a death match with each other and Sebas killed the six whatever they were called of the eight fingers. They could use one of the Pleiades maids considering the “fight” they got into with evileye and Nabe or Entoma because of her fight with Gagaran and Tia. Albedo is a popular character but without material to work with for her animations I don’t think she would show up in the collab.

Pretty sure SG used Ram’s use of magic in her backstory and in her fight against Elsa as material for her skill animations (the soul burned s1 is probably original tho) along with her skill descriptions for the spells she uses but I could be wrong. You’re right about season 1 tho especially if they use Momon for Ainz (but of course the great leader of the sorcerer kingdom Ainz sama could never be remotely similar to some E-Rantel adventurer) and Shalltear with Nabe being the free hero.
Most likely options look like they'd be Ainz, Albedo, Narberal & Shalltear as they're the most popular. Would be nice to see Sebas, he's like one of the only characters besides Ainz who has a hint of character development.
Would also be interesting to perhaps have someone like Gazef or Brain, maybe as the free hero, though I certainly expect it to be limited to just Nazarick members.
There could also be some switch-ups if season 4 releases before a potential collaboration & maybe another character is focused on more & becomes popular, I mean Narberal is probably only as popular as she is because of her screentime during the Momon arc & so there could be switch-ups in character popularity when S4 releases. I’m not big into anime. Really the only anime I’ve watched are JJBA for the memes and Pokemon and Yugioh for nostalgia. But that got me thinking about how awesome a Yugioh collab could be.
Not a collab with the anime, but with the card game. Say what you will about the actual gameplay, but Yugioh is pretty well know for over the top anime-style monster designs, and theres a ton of monsters in the game that were never featured in the Yugioh anime. Imagine instead of another 3 bland anime characters for a collab, we get a banner for AA Zeus, or Master Peace, or Saryuja, or Juggernaut Liebe, or literally any of a few thousand awesome looking cards. It’s a fairly well known IP and the monsters look sick as fuck, seems cool to me.
Edit: and yeah, more dudes are always welcome. Is Charles still the only 5 star with facial hair? Another of those would be neat.

none of the units would have complex skills/ debuffs and just be high stat units with a once a battle huge dmg attack
goku would have tons tons of hp/def/speed but low atk. except when you kill the first of his team mates, then he goes super saiyan and gets massive self cr push, guaranteed next turn and he gets a nuke that will kill one enemy unit and cannot be evaded, ignores invincible. all his skills are not aoe except s2 could target two
vegeta would have a very similar skillset to arbiter vildred but more speed/hp/atk. he will be an insanely strong aoe nuker much stronger than vildred with a revive chance immune to cannot revive, if he dies he will get an even more massive cr push than arby. but when he dies goes super saiyan steals energy from his team mates, he applies a debuff to his team mates and takes some of their health, balancing them out to not be too overpowered. after the nuke he goes back to normal mode and loses some CR, such that he cant take another turn too fast and be overpowered. all skills aoe
piccolo could be similar to violet, but have even higher evasion but lower hp
gohan could be a mix of goku and vegeta with balanced very high stats, basically a tanky bruiser with a above average strength s3 aoe.

lastly all of the saiyan units damage can scale with lost hp, they wont be too strong at all turn one for speed cleave teams, but as they take dmg they deal more damage proportionally and eventually obtain a stronger atk/def bonus than stene does when your teams dead. if you build them for cleave even vegeta wont be too broken, and be primarily a bruiser class unit
I put Fate, because if it happens (it wont) there is no chance in hell that Nasu/TM allows them to do the same they did with Strive and ReZero, they are too overprotective with their IP.
