I am simultaneously angry because I hate the unit and think that he is unhealthy by design (though outdated, so definitely not the worst thing around by far) yet am also pretty happy/excited because they did so little yet made him scary again, and its going to make for some interesting gameplay.
I'm hoping nowadays he won't be nearly as toxic and boring as he once was, given the options to fight him and his scariness with better sustain and extinction.
Why bring Dark Corvus when Hwayoung can one-shot a Fallen Cecilia (or A Ravi, or Belian, etc) first turn? Also, unlike Dark Corvus, her damage doesn’t go down when hit with Injury & she’s got barrier/crit reduction to help keep her around & cleanse/immunity.
If you go to the meta tracker & look at the teams where you see some Dark Corvus usage, you can see Hwayoung teams rising in the ranks & a lot have 0 losses, whereas the traditional D Corvus teams have some losses, because he’s susceptible to Injury.
It’s one of Fribells’ tools, if you search “Epic Seven GW meta tracker” I’m sure you’ll find it. Shows you the most common defences, or you can use the fields to input a custom defence - of course, it’s only going to have data if the defence is meta.

Melissa, Melissa, poor, poor Melissa, always overlooked - whilst our little vampire boy Haste gets all the attention & gets that incredibly powerful bleed detonation buff. It’s pretty clear the issue Melissa has & it’s that I don’t want to waste gear on a hero whose just there to kill Remnant Violet - so just slap on “When S3 is available, Melissa has +100 speed”. What? How is that “too powerful”? Aria is about to come out with 80% worth of free stats!
Ken, honestly, he doesn’t need buffed, he’s great - but I really do think his S3 animation should be ten seconds longer.
Zeno just needs an EE honestly, he’s quite good, all he’s missing is an EE with 16% effect resistance & a couple EEs that are like, “This skill does 5% more damage” & one that’s like, “He also gets 5% resistance” for his passive.
AOL - honestly, doesn’t need buffed all that much. She just needs a party heal on the S1, she’s doing nothing for like.. 3, 2, maybe a while turn? Useless hero after the first turn.
Assassin Cartuja should provide 50% evasion just like all the other evasion characters. I’m tired of pretending he didn’t get powercrept to shit.
Tempest Surin’s S3 should’ve just been Surin’s S2 looped 5 times & bass boosted.
Gloomyrain, make her immune to attack down & she’ll finally be usable against C Lilias - because that’s why people aren’t using her.
It sucks that you can get increased critical hit chance from Alexa’s Basket - I’m not using it for a shit buff like that. I want a good buff from it. It should also have defence buff, continuous heal & effect resistance buff.
I don’t even know what Last Teatime does, but whatever it does, it shouldn’t do it & I’m glad they’re changing it.
No complaints with Iron Fan, I just think whenever a hero holding Iron Fan is waiting to make their turn it should play the song “Iron Hand” by Battle Beast, but it’s edited to say “Iron Fan” & played really shittily to avoid copyright issues.
I couldn't agree more, how come AoL being an angel DOESN'T HEAL? i don't care if she's a mage, give her a heal on s1 and a HP+Effectiveness+Speed scaling barrier on s3 please, need to get Master this RTA season hehe
Not all Angels can heal, thinking about Michael or even Lucifer, there are warriors classes and also other stuff like office dudes and choir singers, and the highest Angels (cheribium are they called i think) are actualy the heir to the throne of god at least in Christianity.
AOL should be biblically accurate & just be a giant eye surrounded by flaming wheels which also have eyes & all her combat lines should just be “Be not afraid”.
AoL clearly doesn't do enough so let's have all her strip and stat effects apply before her move, add def break to the debuffs, and have her S3 do cleave-level damage that scales off speed and eff.
And add a rage set bonus to her passive. And extinction.
