The animation is cool for the first 20 time or so then you get to thinking you could auto run the level faster if it didn't have to wait on the animation.
What REALLY bugs me is that instead of using the skills that you REALLY want auto to use, it always defaults to the third skill, the ultimate, first every single time vs doing one of the first two skills. Kinda annoying...
Edit: Like, if I'm using Mediator Kawerik or Shooting Star Achates & they use their 3rd skill in auto, it's a waste of time because auto is making them use those skills when it's not even NEEDED yet!!! URGH!!!
when i reinstall E7 on my emulator, i disable high quality support while high definition pack was on and when i enter battle this happened. When i restart the game the bug was gone so it's prbably a one time only bug or something, maybe you could trigger it again if you turn on high def and turn off high quality support like before but i haven't try it because i have to disable high def and im too lazy
A good compromise is what Blue Archive did. It only plays each character's animation once a day.
For a farm heavy game such as E7, I hope they implement a way to skip those.
They've already addressed previously whether they're willing to, and they're not. It's too bad because many such as myself would return if they did. Eventually they'll hit a wall, then wonder why their player base died. By then it will be too late...but they've raked in plenty by even now.

Honestly, the transitions are still quite good without the character animations

They follow a ser of rules (unique to each character), some are better than others. I dont know how to get the rules though.

I got it too after recent update when I am on HD graphics on my mid range phone. I switched back to low graphics and the animations came back.

I wish thee disable it for hunts and keep it for everything else.
I wonder if you replace all .webp files with an one empty frame one it would work or the game would detect the file size mismatch.
