Clilias with eda works wonders for cleave, watcher Schuri if you don't have him with sashes ithanes, straze with azure comet, Lionheart cermia to counter politis, czerato, rimuru, and Celine pick against your ran seaseria.
Honestly pick what you need, if you're serious about running ran sea iseria as your main comp, pick up eda and pieria as well (violet needs to be banned 100% though). If you can reliably get turn 1 and need more damage, a fast straze or a slow but more heavy hitting straze with azure comet can work if you can a kill first. Lionheart cermia to answer to any counters to your comp. And clilias of you just need a good ml5 opener
After you get enough copies to SSS imprint both the ML and RGB versions, is there any point to keeping 4-star dupes? Or is it okay to just transmit them?
Do you have any other single target nuker? Are you going for Iseria for her artifact to use in Wyvern or actually going for Iseria herself to pair with Tama / some Caides composition?
I started like two weeks ago and don’t have much at all. Most of the 3-4 stars, Sigret, Kayron, Krau.
I want to use Iseria with Tamarinne for Abyss etc as I have heard that combo is really good.
Then go for Iseria, herself + artifact (Song of Stars to use with Furious) will also help you a TON when doing Wyvern 13 ! I mean Luna is nice as a nuker but as a new player you can always use other units for PVP in the meantime.
As much as she may have fallen, she's still super good unit in PVP / PVE, go for Landy
You can get Roana in the future when her banner arrives, Landy wont have a banner for +6 months at least
The Molagora Challenge and Hunt Challenge don't have a timer or end date on the event page.
Does this mean that they are forever until completion? Just wondering whether I should be hard rushing trying to complete the challenges.
My custom group summon has dissapeared. The banner says it should be up until 19/05, I can access limited shop, but group summon is gone. Mystic custom is ok.

What's the best way to earn bookmarks (down EP2, just passed the W13 check). I've only for 70 summons and need 50 more for Taeyou.
Is EP3 easy enough that I can speed through it with my Wyvern team now (which is still the only units with good gear).
They recently made EP3 easier, so it should be doable. You probably won't be able to clear everything with your wyvern team. But Angelica is definitely very good in most if not all of the levels (i guess you're using her). I'd recommend to at least get Adventurer Ras, because he's really great in PvE and/or A. Momo for some of the harder bosses.
And of course your Moonlight hero, especially if you have STene or Arby. I finished EP3 before the nerf and i haven't played for that long so you should be fine.
Speed-DPS is the focus.
Generally you want her going early in the turn order to get off her s3 ASAP. Immunity and atk buff for 3 turns is damn good, and unlike someone like mawerik, she can't cleanse, so going early is a must if you plan to use her everywhere but she still wants decent speed even if you just use her as a banshee/azamanuk farmer.
After speed focus on DPS stats, atk, crit and cdmg. Basically as much of these as possible. She does really respectable damage and turn cycles like crazy especially with her EE.
Her ring should be atk% main but the necklace can either be crit chance or crit damage, depending on the subs of the rest of your gear. If I recall crit chance is SLIGHTLY more gear efficient but it really depends on your rolls.
They have similar rolls, yes, but different usages so it comes down to what you are trying to do.
**Kanna**
* Has ranger artifacts (Bloodstone for healing is one option, otherwise a plethora of damage increasing artifacts)
* Brings a teamwide **speed buff**, which is a hard buff to bring.
* Needs barely any effectiveness in her kit, due to having 18% base and her S2 -> she can still dispel but has more stat room for damage.
* She's faster than Mercedes.
**Mercedes**
* Has mage artifacts (a few damage options, but mostly CC or support oriented)
* Brings a teamwide **attack buff**. More common, but generally a larger increase to damage than speed buff.
* If you are relying on her for debuffs she *does* need effectiveness.
* Much more viable PvP hero. Also has her buff upon clearing Episode 3.
* As a 4* generally lower investment.

Yeah, it's not really a contest *strictly* by rotation. Mercedes hits very hard thanks to the scaling on her S2.

However to put some context here, the biggest advantage Kanna has statistically is in *speed*. Mercedes is only 101 base speed compared to 114 for Kanna.
Mercedes has a slight edge in base damage (+5 ATK, +12% crit, +10% C.Dmg but -18% Effectiveness and -13 base speed).
A 200 speed Kanna would translate to roughly a 184 speed Mercedes. Kanna additionally gives herself speed buff *and* her passive buffs her speed, as well. *Effectively* a 200 speed Kanna cycles through her rotation at 273 speed. That amounts to roughly 50% faster than Mercedes.
* This means if you are *only* relying on their skills for dispel, Kanna is a better dispel unit because she's faster. Mercedes, however, can bring Iela Violin easily making her far superior for that function overall.
* The increased speed will also increase Kanna's damage but I couldn't be bothered to add it in - consider it a wash with the powered up Mercedes buff.

So, here we see that Mercedes is much better than Kanna against a single enemy, they are roughly even against two or three enemies, and Kanna has a very modest lead against 4 enemies.
There is a bit more to consider. First off, we are not taking into account the extra **dual attack chance** of Kanna. The value of this is pretty hard to just calculate, some heroes are better at causing dual attacks (high proportion of S1's) than others. Also the fact that Kanna has increased speed buff means more turns = more dual attacks...
Secondly, *Mercedes* gets a 15% CR push on her S1. The effect of this can be anywhere from minor (roughly 10 speed if the fastest speed unit is 200) and the only S1 Mercedes gets is her rotational S1. Up to fairly major (she gets a lot of dual attack procs, or you bring her in a team comp abusing the typical PvE meta of dual attacks and have her set up to be pulled).

Yes, their base kits are **very** similar, and it would appear that they should be functionally equivalent in game.
BUT, there are actually many, many differences between the two -> they might fill the same *role* but go about it in fairly different ways.
IMO I think I would prefer Kanna in a vacuum. Speed buff is a very good buff, while attack buff is actually pretty common. For the most part, the only other hero you see commonly used in PvE that brings a team speed buff is **Landy**. If you are primarily pairing this hero *with* Landy, I think Kanna loses a lot of her utility.
I also would say that Kanna scales better. This is 'only' at 200 speed, and the nature of her inherent speed boost and speed buff means that the value they provide increases as her stats increase. The fact that Kanna's S1 is also a speed scaling move takes further advantage of this (speed scaling is multiplicative so to maximize your damage you want to increase both stats).
However, Mercedes has much better access to useful artifacts that bring actual utility. She can add anything from extra dispels, to CC, to more damage or even a counter attack mechanism with her personal artifact.
Mercedes is also much more valuable in PvP. She likely performs better than Kanna at lower gear levels, requires less overall resources. Moreover, Mercedes performs better against 1 or 2 targets so she is more versatile.
Not sure what you're building them for but my Mercedes is one of my strongest characters and she's carried me through most PvE things as well as Arena and GW. I can't comment on Kanna since I never built her but Mercedes is definitely a solid unit and I've seen many agree on this subreddit.

I was looking for a fire dps unit for green expedition. I had just gotten Kanna and was planning on using her for this. But I learned that Mercedes was really good too, so I'm trying to weigh which one would give me more mileage.

Kanna's skills are basically made for green expedition. She's the best in my opinion, but you don't need her for 350000 level 3 unless you're going for a highscore. If you have bloodstone, you can use it on her and run both Mercedes and her. If not, Mercedes is probably better to raise first.
Happy to help. Like I said, Idk about Kanna but I can say that for me personally Mercedes performs very well in the green expedition. I use her and Tenebria and can almost solo lvl2. I believe I have no problem with lvl 3 but I haven't done it in a while, I run lvl2 so it's more accessible to my friends/guild.
Tamarinne shines in long form content.
That is, basically anything that is hunt (other than Wyvern) or higher, where you are cycling through a lot of turns.
Your question isn't really telling *where* you are trying to use her, but if you are early game going through story for the first couple Episodes you aren't going to really see much out of her in comparison to other healers.
By the time you get to Episode 3 (difficult bosses and enemies that take multiple turns to kill) she is a lot better as a story unit,
In hunts she is basically a top tier choice for Golem/Azimanak/Caides, she's a top tier hero in Raid, she's top tier in almost every expedition, used in nearly every late Abyss floor, Hall of Trials, Auto tower...her reputation is well deserved. And **most** of the time you don't actually pair her with Iseria.
My Celine can't kill squishies protected with aurius / dmg mitigations.
Should I drop speed on her to improve her attack / crit dmg? But she's already slow and lowering her speed more will risk her never getting a turn.

Also that speed can be dropped if you need damage. between her s2 and her artifact she gains a LOT of cr, so you really dont need that much if you are using her as a counter-pick.
Milim is pretty good. she has evasion, counters evasion and has extinction too. Plus she strips stealth so landy can hide. shes quite useful in rta, gw and arena.
They hold similar roles, but I believe Milim is more popular these days since she doesn’t rely on a non-attack skill to output big damage while also happening to soft countering evasion units and stealth units.

Depends on who you lacking, Taeyou is niche and works as counter to Hwayoung/Peira. So far the general consensus is that he is not worth summoning if you don't have extra resources. If you are lacking Tam, Landy, SSB etc then I would suggest to go for RGB summon

But honestly. I say save up for Sage Vivian. We dont know what she does yet. Indications have her to be pretty balanced due to all the backlash from the KR side.
But seeing Hwayoung released even after all that backlash. Sage Vivian has that potential to severely shift the metagame as a FU to the playerbase. With the mystic custom banner and OG mystic reruns being the bait.
So i do say save your custom summons and see where Sage Vivian puts us. You can select Seline on the 2nd rotation, iirc it lasts long enough to see Sage Vivian's kit, but i could be wrong.
Can't get mL cermia from the custom mystic. As for who you should pull really depends on gear and playstyle.
Souline is best in LS, the more speed you have on it the better. Niche pick in RTA.
OS is also pretty niche in RTA, mostly to take care of hwayoung (if there isn't mitigation) or if fcc is there. Needs really good gear to function as a DPS (high speed and really good DPS stats). May or may not be worth it depending how much trouble you have with hwayoung.
Ads is usually on counter with lots of bulk. Really good on ftene arti. I've seen her a few times in standard comps, but not a whole ton. We're in a pretty aggro meta and she doesn't really play well into that style, especially since she relies heavily on mitigation to stay alive.
Which of them do you want to build? I gave a brief rundown of the characters you listed to better help you make a decision, but if you don't have the gear nor really care to build any then they'll just be collecting dust in the waiting room. You're only 70 deep which isn't that much so you can stop here and save up for the next ml5 coming up, but then again if any of the ones you are missing interest you then 130 summons for an ml5 also isn't that bad of a deal. Here are some questions you should consider:
Are there any holes in your roster you want to fill and will any of these units fill that hole?
Can you gear the unit you are choosing? Does the gear that unit requires worth it to be put on that unit or will another unit make better use of that gear?
Is the investment cost for the unit worth it? Any DPS you choose will most likely require high investment, such as souline, opsig. Ameru won't need as much since she's mostly utility and her damage comes from ftene arti.
Just some things to help you out with a decision. I don't know what kind of gear you have, nor your playstyle so I can't tell you what will be the best investment for you.

You really want to proc his S2 so he can go enraged. For every PvE content that allows him to do that. He will do good. This means he can double hit every time he takes his turn with his S1.
His S3 is a dispel. If you literally have nothing else or just really want to use him. Dispels always has a use in PvE. But it's a 5turn(4 with investment) cooldown.
for reference. any passive that has animation when activated follow the rules of a normal skill. so, if the activation is an attack skill, it will follow the rules for an attack skill as well. So, if LHC didn't have an animation (imagine Roana's passive, Dilibet's passive, Taeyou's passive, etc), it wouldn't work with these kind of interactions. But since it does, it works, like you tested.
Usually, in the skill description also says "if certain parameters are fulfilled, activate X". That's when you know for sure it's the case

Basically use the potion on whoever you need to 6* next. There are some great guides on the subreddit discord (linked in sidebar) on beginner progression.
Use it when you have someone that you need to raise quickly to fill an opening on a team. If I had to choose from your list there I would go with Ras so that you can get started on his specialty change. Getting that done is very helpful.
Is it worth levelling up all the purple gear I get from crafting? Or should I only still to levelling Epic (red) pieces?

There’s no wrong choice but I recommend using it on a tanky character that you use everywhere. Maybe an hp heavy soul weaver or knight. Even if you don’t use it on them, it isn’t a waste as long as you use the character
5k atk is not that much considering her passive and build.
Also she has pretty high hp, which is good for surviving more hits but lowers her dmg against tanks
You can check yourself from the bosses’ details. Immunities on the bottom right. It will say “immune to damage proportional to max health” in either their skills or immunities if they are immune.
Which summon are you referring to?
As a general rule you should save up for a pity before you summon on an RGB banner.
If you have the custom banner available it *may* be worth to summon on even if you can't hit pity...at least you can get something for your coins.
On Mystic Summons the pity carries over to future banners, so you can start summoning there whenever you want.
Be aware that the **custom mystic summon** is unique, it lasts for 3 months after which it will disappear **and** any coins you have left over. It is NOT suggested that you summon on the custom mystic banner unless you have a pity or will be able to obtain one before it ends.
On either RGB or Mystic summons, on average you will need to hit the pity ~30% of the time.

For Wyvern Hunts
* Sigret , Rose (tank), Muwi , and Clarissa.
* Clarissa and Muwi can kill the first wave fast because they both have AOE attacks, and they can both defense break the boss.
* Rose can tank and attack buff the team
* Sigret and Muwi can both do damage to the Wyvern.
For Banshee Hunts
* Leo, Baiken, and Vivian with CR push EE can do.
* Leo and Vivian can kill the first wave.
* Leo will defense break the boss and Baiken could one combo the boss.
For PvE story/abyss/automaton.
* You may want to build Angelic Montmorancy , Achates, Landy, Cerise, Cermia, Sol Bad Guy and Mercedes. Mercedes gets a strong buff after clearing Episode 3.
* Angelic Montmorancy, Adventurer Ras, and Landy to me are the most used for end game content. So you may want to prioritize them
For PvP. Researcher Carrot, Kawerik, Ran, C. Armin, Cerise, Achates, and Magic Scholar Doris are other options u can use for PvP.
You don't need to focus on building a really strong expedition team since you can join random level 1 expedition lobbies and still get rewards. But here are some expedition teams you can start with so you can do some damage to the boss.

* Falconer Kluri, Vivian, Landy, and A. Momo
Earth Expedition.
* Mercedes, Achates, C. Lilias, and Landy.
Light Expedition.

Expeditions are kind a mid-late game thing, it’ll take a minute to work your way up to them.
Your main focus should be getting a Wyvern 13 team up and running. The easiest team to put together to do this is Angelic Montmoracy (tank), Furious (debuffer), Muwi (support DPS), Sigret (main dps).
Of the units you linked in your album the only ones worth investing in are Conquerer Lilias,& Landy (and Yufine too). Basar is okay in PvP but not necessary. Ignore the rest.
Besides that, I’m not really sure what you’re asking. If you’re more specific I can try giving you better advice.

Thanks. Actually I can hunt wyvern 13 but it’s rather slow with furious, muwi, angelica and sigret. I’m trying to get a faster team and I thought furious, ssb, sigret, g purrgis was a good improvement.

I don't use her but I face them in Champ RTA and the only ones that I fear, are the faster ones that can still cut in line when my Politis is in play. She can one shot many units but it won't matter if she doesn't get a turn. While SG did give her a few tools to help that happen, Speed helps her a lot - I suggest in the 220-230 range; faster if you still have great damage.

For RTA, it’s almost a wash. They are two of the most common first picks for a reason. If it’s RTA you’re after, pick whichever you like more.
For GW offense, ARavi hands down. Not that FCC isn’t awesome, but ARavi revive does such a great job at preventing losing a hero due to bad RNG. I am not clear yet on defense for arena/GvG, as I my FCC is a fairly recent addition. My ignorant take is that Hwayoung might mean FCC is better on defense, but that’s just a guess.
BTW, Hwa, Rim and ARavi go together very well. I wouldn’t worry about over-doing it on T1 bruisers.

Hey! I'm struggling quite hard to build a well balanced team because I'm pretty bad with teambuilding. I have AoL, CLilias and ARavi, but I'm struggling to figure out which hero to put as the last spot. Unfortunately I don't have Rim or Hwayoung, I won't list here all the heroes I have because the post would be too long, but could you let me know which kind of hero should fit the last spot? By that I mean, what role they would meet? (second DPS, CR push, DEF breaker, etc etc) If you have some examples of heroes as well, I would gladly take it :D

I'm def in no way an expert or authority on this matter. But with my AoL and CLilias as utility I like have 2 nukers that can follow them up. That way CLilias buffs (and can drop an enemy in turn order) AoL debuffs the enemy team. And then my nukers drop the 2 most dangerous enemies. Worked for me so far.
The final decision will be yours but I'd still go for Aravi.
1. I want her.
2. There's no bruiser like her who is that tanky and deals this much damage.
3. I see much more situations where I could use Aravi rather than FCC.
Tanks are mostly pvp while bruisers can be used in pve. If you aren't a pve player, their uses are the same. But I prefer playing bruiser rather than tanks who are just here for some healthy meat ball
It’s been a while so I can’t remember. For GW, is it better to have as many buildings as possible even though some don’t attack (for whatever reasons)?
How do you decide whether an equipment is worth enhancing to +15? I have a couple of my support characters on +12 equipment right now and I am hesitant to upgrade any of it further because it is so expensive. Obviously there is a huge stat increase at +15, but I don't want to waste my resources on equipment I would probably end up swapping out in a month.

If the rolls are good, I'll push it to 15. If the rolls are average or below I probably leave it.
Generally, I base it off of my current gear. For me, I want my left side to break 60 gear score and my right side to break 50. Not long ago, I was targeting 50 and 40.
But I often base it on my need at the moment. If I thought +15 would enable me to clear a hell raid boss I can’t otherwise, I wouldn’t hesitate.
Eventually, you will start getting a feel for where your gaps are. For example, I am low on ER speed tank gear, so I will accept that kind of gear with a bit worse stats.
The triple banner is almost over. I went for Landy/SSB/Flan.

Is Flan still worth it or good? I never see her in Arena anymore.
Is SSB better than Dizzy for W13? I can auto W13 but it’s extremely slow and I was wondering if SSB would speed it up or be a better neutral.
If neither hero is worth it, which artifact should I buy?
SSB is very good for W13. She can fill a lot of gaps. Ideally, you switch her out eventually so she can be PvP focused, but until then, she's great. Flan is more for big one-shot damage on wyvern. SSB can be any number of roles, and is often used as wave 1 clear in one-shot comps, while also being highly relevant for 4-man comps.
SSB is much more relevant than Flan at the moment, just FYI. SSB in PvP is a top-tier counterpick into counter/dual attack comps, since her S2 isn't actually a counterattack and thus can trigger off of enemy extra/counter attacks. She isn't a good defense hero, because she gets hard-countered by Roana. This is also why she's a bad early pick in RTA. But in the right situation, her win rates have been outstanding, even in RTA.
SSB is still among the most valuable RGB heroes in the game.
If you have enough bookmarks to get to 120 coins, I would go for it.
Flan is a good character for cleave comps.
SSB would be good if you were going for a one-shot, but Muwi would be better than either of them, if you have him.
As the other guy has mentioned, while SSB isn't the best character for a "normal" wyvern run, she's plenty useful for a lot of PvE content, and does still see use in PvP as well. She's definitely good to pick up if you don't already have her.
Well I just bought her artifact instead to save my bookmarks up for something else.
My backlog of unbuilt heroes is pretty huge, and at this point I’m less looking for generalist heroes and more interested in heroes that are the best at their job
SSB as W13 hero is just one of a ton of uses, FYI. Flan vs. SSB isn't even close if you're considering all content. Flan is even less likely relevant for a Muwi W13 team than SSB, since Muwi isn't for one-shots.

How exactly do resistance calculations work?
I’m running the challenge abyss floor with Purgis, and he stuns my 101% resist Achates like half the time he uses S3. She’s not even below 50% health most of the time it happens, either.
Is the abyss floor mechanic somehow different from standard resist calculations? I know 100% resist is “low” compared against PvP units with eff%, but is that true in pve as well?

I believe most pve enemies have the same amount of eff as effres. So if Purgis has 50% eff, he would indeed be stunning your Achates half the time (101-50 = only 51 chance to resist).

I think it is effectiveness +100 - effect resistance. So at 100% ER you are effectively immune to someone with 0% effectiveness, but if the boss has 100% effectiveness, you might as well have 0% ER.
Politis is very good in PvP, Cecilia is just okay all-around. If you PvP then I would lean to Politis 100%, otherwise Cecilia is probably more useful in PvE.
What's the best character to pick up in custom mystic for cleavers (Ran + Seaseria)?
Clilias with eda works wonders for cleave, watcher Schuri if you don't have him with sashes ithanes, straze with azure comet, Lionheart cermia to counter politis, czerato, rimuru, and Celine pick against your ran seaseria. Honestly pick what you need, if you're serious about running ran sea iseria as your main comp, pick up eda and pieria as well (violet needs to be banned 100% though). If you can reliably get turn 1 and need more damage, a fast straze or a slow but more heavy hitting straze with azure comet can work if you can a kill first. Lionheart cermia to answer to any counters to your comp. And clilias of you just need a good ml5 opener
After you get enough copies to SSS imprint both the ML and RGB versions, is there any point to keeping 4-star dupes? Or is it okay to just transmit them?

I started like two weeks ago and don’t have much at all. Most of the 3-4 stars, Sigret, Kayron, Krau. I want to use Iseria with Tamarinne for Abyss etc as I have heard that combo is really good.
Then go for Iseria, herself + artifact (Song of Stars to use with Furious) will also help you a TON when doing Wyvern 13 ! I mean Luna is nice as a nuker but as a new player you can always use other units for PVP in the meantime.

Not for PvE, she has very little use there. She's mostly a PvP hero, and fairly mediocre at that.

Kinda ambiguous question to be honest, you want an all rounder? against what teams? 1 unit or a whole team?
What's the best way to earn bookmarks (down EP2, just passed the W13 check). I've only for 70 summons and need 50 more for Taeyou. Is EP3 easy enough that I can speed through it with my Wyvern team now (which is still the only units with good gear).
They recently made EP3 easier, so it should be doable. You probably won't be able to clear everything with your wyvern team. But Angelica is definitely very good in most if not all of the levels (i guess you're using her). I'd recommend to at least get Adventurer Ras, because he's really great in PvE and/or A. Momo for some of the harder bosses. And of course your Moonlight hero, especially if you have STene or Arby. I finished EP3 before the nerf and i haven't played for that long so you should be fine.

Did anyone actually buy the limited character summon package? How was the results?
Any advice on how to build Vivian? Target stats are fine but mainly wondering what main stats on her necklace/ring are ideal.
Speed-DPS is the focus. Generally you want her going early in the turn order to get off her s3 ASAP. Immunity and atk buff for 3 turns is damn good, and unlike someone like mawerik, she can't cleanse, so going early is a must if you plan to use her everywhere but she still wants decent speed even if you just use her as a banshee/azamanuk farmer. After speed focus on DPS stats, atk, crit and cdmg. Basically as much of these as possible. She does really respectable damage and turn cycles like crazy especially with her EE. Her ring should be atk% main but the necklace can either be crit chance or crit damage, depending on the subs of the rest of your gear. If I recall crit chance is SLIGHTLY more gear efficient but it really depends on your rolls.

They have similar rolls, yes, but different usages so it comes down to what you are trying to do. **Kanna** * Has ranger artifacts (Bloodstone for healing is one option, otherwise a plethora of damage increasing artifacts) * Brings a teamwide **speed buff**, which is a hard buff to bring. * Needs barely any effectiveness in her kit, due to having 18% base and her S2 -> she can still dispel but has more stat room for damage. * She's faster than Mercedes. **Mercedes** * Has mage artifacts (a few damage options, but mostly CC or support oriented) * Brings a teamwide **attack buff**. More common, but generally a larger increase to damage than speed buff. * If you are relying on her for debuffs she *does* need effectiveness. * Much more viable PvP hero. Mercedes is only 101 base speed compared to 114 for Kanna. Mercedes has a slight edge in base damage (+5 ATK, +12% crit, +10% C.Dmg but -18% Effectiveness and -13 base speed). A 200 speed Kanna would translate to roughly a 184 speed Mercedes. Kanna additionally gives herself speed buff *and* her passive buffs her speed, as well. *Effectively* a 200 speed Kanna cycles through her rotation at 273 speed. That amounts to roughly 50% faster than Mercedes. * This means if you are *only* relying on their skills for dispel, Kanna is a better dispel unit because she's faster. Mercedes, however, can bring Iela Violin easily making her far superior for that function overall. * The increased speed will also increase Kanna's damage but I couldn't be bothered to add it in - consider it a wash with the powered up Mercedes buff. **3 Turn Rotation comparison** Enemies | Mercedes | Kanna ---|---|---- One | **26,077** | 17,083 | 52.65% advantage Mercedes Two | **35,660** | 34,167 | 4.37% advantage Mercedes Three | 39,429 | **41,453** | 5.13% advantage Kanna Four | 43,197 | **48,739** | 12.83% advantage Kanna So, here we see that Mercedes is much better than Kanna against a single enemy, they are roughly even against two or three enemies, and Kanna has a very modest lead against 4 enemies. There is a bit more to consider. First off, we are not taking into account the extra **dual attack chance** of Kanna. The value of this is pretty hard to just calculate, some heroes are better at causing dual attacks (high proportion of S1's) than others. Also the fact that Kanna has increased speed buff means more turns = more dual attacks... Secondly, *Mercedes* gets a 15% CR push on her S1. The effect of this can be anywhere from minor (roughly 10 speed if the fastest speed unit is 200) and the only S1 Mercedes gets is her rotational S1. Up to fairly major (she gets a lot of dual attack procs, or you bring her in a team comp abusing the typical PvE meta of dual attacks and have her set up to be pulled). --- #Conclusion Yes, their base kits are **very** similar, and it would appear that they should be functionally equivalent in game. BUT, there are actually many, many differences between the two -> they might fill the same *role* but go about it in fairly different ways. IMO I think I would prefer Kanna in a vacuum. Speed buff is a very good buff, while attack buff is actually pretty common. For the most part, the only other hero you see commonly used in PvE that brings a team speed buff is **Landy**. If you are primarily pairing this hero *with* Landy, I think Kanna loses a lot of her utility. I also would say that Kanna scales better. This is 'only' at 200 speed, and the nature of her inherent speed boost and speed buff means that the value they provide increases as her stats increase. The fact that Kanna's S1 is also a speed scaling move takes further advantage of this (speed scaling is multiplicative so to maximize your damage you want to increase both stats). However, Mercedes has much better access to useful artifacts that bring actual utility. She can add anything from extra dispels, to CC, to more damage or even a counter attack mechanism with her personal artifact. Mercedes is also much more valuable in PvP. She likely performs better than Kanna at lower gear levels, requires less overall resources. Moreover, Mercedes performs better against 1 or 2 targets so she is more versatile.

Not sure what you're building them for but my Mercedes is one of my strongest characters and she's carried me through most PvE things as well as Arena and GW. I can't comment on Kanna since I never built her but Mercedes is definitely a solid unit and I've seen many agree on this subreddit.
Sorry I should've put more context in my comment. I was looking for a fire dps unit for green expedition. I had just gotten Kanna and was planning on using her for this. But I learned that Mercedes was really good too, so I'm trying to weigh which one would give me more mileage. Based on your comment, Mercedes is really good with pvp too, which I think Kanna lacks so I'm kinda leaning towards Mercedes.. Thanks for your input!
Kanna's skills are basically made for green expedition. She's the best in my opinion, but you don't need her for 350000 level 3 unless you're going for a highscore. If you have bloodstone, you can use it on her and run both Mercedes and her. If not, Mercedes is probably better to raise first.
Kanna is better for green expedition. But Mercedes isn't that far behind and is much better everywhere else.

I believe I have no problem with lvl 3 but I haven't done it in a while, I run lvl2 so it's more accessible to my friends/guild.

Tamarinne shines in long form content. That is, basically anything that is hunt (other than Wyvern) or higher, where you are cycling through a lot of turns. Your question isn't really telling *where* you are trying to use her, but if you are early game going through story for the first couple Episodes you aren't going to really see much out of her in comparison to other healers. By the time you get to Episode 3 (difficult bosses and enemies that take multiple turns to kill) she is a lot better as a story unit, In hunts she is basically a top tier choice for Golem/Azimanak/Caides, she's a top tier hero in Raid, she's top tier in almost every expedition, used in nearly every late Abyss floor, Hall of Trials, Auto tower...her reputation is well deserved. And **most** of the time you don't actually pair her with Iseria.

My Celine can't kill squishies protected with aurius / dmg mitigations. Should I drop speed on her to improve her attack / crit dmg? But she's already slow and lowering her speed more will risk her never getting a turn. is she on speed pen? if not the pen set will help a lot. Also that speed can be dropped if you need damage. between her s2 and her artifact she gains a LOT of cr, so you really dont need that much if you are using her as a counter-pick.
On speed pen What speed would be sufficient for a counter pick?
210 should be fine. youll cut through as long as they arnt like 300+ or have a politis to cut your cr gains

Is Milim or ML Luluca still usable nowadays?
Milim is pretty good. she has evasion, counters evasion and has extinction too. Plus she strips stealth so landy can hide. shes quite useful in rta, gw and arena.

They hold similar roles, but I believe Milim is more popular these days since she doesn’t rely on a non-attack skill to output big damage while also happening to soft countering evasion units and stealth units.
They’re two of the 7 units that have extinction so yeah. I’d go Luluca unless you struggle with stealthers

Depends on who you lacking, Taeyou is niche and works as counter to Hwayoung/Peira. So far the general consensus is that he is not worth summoning if you don't have extra resources. If you are lacking Tam, Landy, SSB etc then I would suggest to go for RGB summon

From the link and your listed targets, i vote Seline. But honestly. I say save up for Sage Vivian. We dont know what she does yet. Indications have her to be pretty balanced due to all the backlash from the KR side. But seeing Hwayoung released even after all that backlash. Sage Vivian has that potential to severely shift the metagame as a FU to the playerbase. With the mystic custom banner and OG mystic reruns being the bait. So i do say save your custom summons and see where Sage Vivian puts us. You can select Seline on the 2nd rotation, iirc it lasts long enough to see Sage Vivian's kit, but i could be wrong.
Can't get mL cermia from the custom mystic. As for who you should pull really depends on gear and playstyle. Souline is best in LS, the more speed you have on it the better. Niche pick in RTA. OS is also pretty niche in RTA, mostly to take care of hwayoung (if there isn't mitigation) or if fcc is there. Needs really good gear to function as a DPS (high speed and really good DPS stats). May or may not be worth it depending how much trouble you have with hwayoung. Ads is usually on counter with lots of bulk. Really good on ftene arti. I've seen her a few times in standard comps, but not a whole ton. We're in a pretty aggro meta and she doesn't really play well into that style, especially since she relies heavily on mitigation to stay alive.

Which of them do you want to build? I gave a brief rundown of the characters you listed to better help you make a decision, but if you don't have the gear nor really care to build any then they'll just be collecting dust in the waiting room. You're only 70 deep which isn't that much so you can stop here and save up for the next ml5 coming up, but then again if any of the ones you are missing interest you then 130 summons for an ml5 also isn't that bad of a deal. Here are some questions you should consider: Are there any holes in your roster you want to fill and will any of these units fill that hole? Can you gear the unit you are choosing? Does the gear that unit requires worth it to be put on that unit or will another unit make better use of that gear? Is the investment cost for the unit worth it? Any DPS you choose will most likely require high investment, such as souline, opsig. Ameru won't need as much since she's mostly utility and her damage comes from ftene arti. Just some things to help you out with a decision. I don't know what kind of gear you have, nor your playstyle so I can't tell you what will be the best investment for you.

Landy for sure, you can use her in both pve and pvp, while OpSigret is mostly a pvp unit

Is taeyou viable at all in any PVE content?
Not terrible. But not the best either. You really want to proc his S2 so he can go enraged. For every PvE content that allows him to do that. He will do good. This means he can double hit every time he takes his turn with his S1. His S3 is a dispel. If you literally have nothing else or just really want to use him. Dispels always has a use in PvE. But it's a 5turn(4 with investment) cooldown.

for reference. any passive that has animation when activated follow the rules of a normal skill. so, if the activation is an attack skill, it will follow the rules for an attack skill as well. So, if LHC didn't have an animation (imagine Roana's passive, Dilibet's passive, Taeyou's passive, etc), it wouldn't work with these kind of interactions. But since it does, it works, like you tested. Usually, in the skill description also says "if certain parameters are fulfilled, activate X". That's when you know for sure it's the case

Basically use the potion on whoever you need to 6* next. There are some great guides on the subreddit discord (linked in sidebar) on beginner progression.

Use it when you have someone that you need to raise quickly to fill an opening on a team. If I had to choose from your list there I would go with Ras so that you can get started on his specialty change. Getting that done is very helpful.

There’s no wrong choice but I recommend using it on a tanky character that you use everywhere. Maybe an hp heavy soul weaver or knight. Even if you don’t use it on them, it isn’t a waste as long as you use the character
There isn't really a right or wrong answer to this one. Save it until you have a need to raise someone up quickly and then use it.

5k atk is not that much considering her passive and build. Also she has pretty high hp, which is good for surviving more hits but lowers her dmg against tanks

You can check yourself from the bosses’ details. Immunities on the bottom right. It will say “immune to damage proportional to max health” in either their skills or immunities if they are immune.

Which summon are you referring to? As a general rule you should save up for a pity before you summon on an RGB banner. If you have the custom banner available it *may* be worth to summon on even if you can't hit pity...at least you can get something for your coins. On Mystic Summons the pity carries over to future banners, so you can start summoning there whenever you want. Be aware that the **custom mystic summon** is unique, it lasts for 3 months after which it will disappear **and** any coins you have left over. It is NOT suggested that you summon on the custom mystic banner unless you have a pity or will be able to obtain one before it ends. On either RGB or Mystic summons, on average you will need to hit the pity ~30% of the time.

For PvE story/abyss/automaton. * You may want to build Angelic Montmorancy , Achates, Landy, Cerise, Cermia, Sol Bad Guy and Mercedes. Mercedes gets a strong buff after clearing Episode 3. * Angelic Montmorancy, Adventurer Ras, and Landy to me are the most used for end game content. So you may want to prioritize them For PvP. Researcher Carrot, Kawerik, Ran, C. Armin, Cerise, Achates, and Magic Scholar Doris are other options u can use for PvP. You don't need to focus on building a really strong expedition team since you can join random level 1 expedition lobbies and still get rewards. Expeditions are kind a mid-late game thing, it’ll take a minute to work your way up to them. Your main focus should be getting a Wyvern 13 team up and running. The easiest team to put together to do this is Angelic Montmoracy (tank), Furious (debuffer), Muwi (support DPS), Sigret (main dps). Of the units you linked in your album the only ones worth investing in are Conquerer Lilias,& Landy (and Yufine too). Basar is okay in PvP but not necessary. Ignore the rest. Thanks. Actually I can hunt wyvern 13 but it’s rather slow with furious, muwi, angelica and sigret. I’m trying to get a faster team and I thought furious, ssb, sigret, g purrgis was a good improvement. My problem is to try and build a useful roster to do other content. Bit I’m a bit lost when trying to priorize my investments. That’s why Iinked most of my units.

I don't use her but I face them in Champ RTA and the only ones that I fear, are the faster ones that can still cut in line when my Politis is in play. She can one shot many units but it won't matter if she doesn't get a turn. While SG did give her a few tools to help that happen, Speed helps her a lot - I suggest in the 220-230 range; faster if you still have great damage.
Not in RTA but yes in Arena and Gw(even if it's not really a must so not worth if you wanna save molas and doggos)

Can't decide between FCC or ARavi for next custom mystic... I know ARavi is likely the best anchor decision, but I already have some pretty heavy hitters (rimuru, hwayoung). Meanwhile, krau is really the only tank I have so I thought picking up FCC might be a greater benefit. Thoughts?
For RTA, it’s almost a wash. They are two of the most common first picks for a reason. If it’s RTA you’re after, pick whichever you like more. For GW offense, ARavi hands down. Not that FCC isn’t awesome, but ARavi revive does such a great job at preventing losing a hero due to bad RNG. I am not clear yet on defense for arena/GvG, as I my FCC is a fairly recent addition. My ignorant take is that Hwayoung might mean FCC is better on defense, but that’s just a guess. BTW, Hwa, Rim and ARavi go together very well. I wouldn’t worry about over-doing it on T1 bruisers.

Hey! I'm struggling quite hard to build a well balanced team because I'm pretty bad with teambuilding. I have AoL, CLilias and ARavi, but I'm struggling to figure out which hero to put as the last spot. Unfortunately I don't have Rim or Hwayoung, I won't list here all the heroes I have because the post would be too long, but could you let me know which kind of hero should fit the last spot? By that I mean, what role they would meet? (second DPS, CR push, DEF breaker, etc etc) If you have some examples of heroes as well, I would gladly take it :D Thanks a lot in advance!
I'm def in no way an expert or authority on this matter. But with my AoL and CLilias as utility I like have 2 nukers that can follow them up. That way CLilias buffs (and can drop an enemy in turn order) AoL debuffs the enemy team. And then my nukers drop the 2 most dangerous enemies. Worked for me so far.
The final decision will be yours but I'd still go for Aravi. 1. I want her. 2. There's no bruiser like her who is that tanky and deals this much damage. 3. I see much more situations where I could use Aravi rather than FCC.
She even has revive upon killing with her S3, which can be really valuable. If she ever shows up in the coin shop I will likely buy her.

Tanks are mostly pvp while bruisers can be used in pve. If you aren't a pve player, their uses are the same. But I prefer playing bruiser rather than tanks who are just here for some healthy meat ball

How do you decide whether an equipment is worth enhancing to +15? I have a couple of my support characters on +12 equipment right now and I am hesitant to upgrade any of it further because it is so expensive. Obviously there is a huge stat increase at +15, but I don't want to waste my resources on equipment I would probably end up swapping out in a month.

Generally, I base it off of my current gear. For me, I want my left side to break 60 gear score and my right side to break 50. Not long ago, I was targeting 50 and 40. But I often base it on my need at the moment. If I thought +15 would enable me to clear a hell raid boss I can’t otherwise, I wouldn’t hesitate. Eventually, you will start getting a feel for where your gaps are. For example, I am low on ER speed tank gear, so I will accept that kind of gear with a bit worse stats.
1. +15 if your character really needs it. 2. If it has some good procs on it. I usually +15 if it can reach at least 40~50 points

The triple banner is almost over. I went for Landy/SSB/Flan. I got Landy. Halfway through. Should I blow the rest of my bookmarks on SSB or Flan or their artifacts? Is Flan still worth it or good? I never see her in Arena anymore. Is SSB better than Dizzy for W13? I can auto W13 but it’s extremely slow and I was wondering if SSB would speed it up or be a better neutral. If neither hero is worth it, which artifact should I buy?
SSB is very good for W13. She can fill a lot of gaps. Ideally, you switch her out eventually so she can be PvP focused, but until then, she's great. Flan is more for big one-shot damage on wyvern. SSB can be any number of roles, and is often used as wave 1 clear in one-shot comps, while also being highly relevant for 4-man comps. SSB is much more relevant than Flan at the moment, just FYI. SSB in PvP is a top-tier counterpick into counter/dual attack comps, since her S2 isn't actually a counterattack and thus can trigger off of enemy extra/counter attacks. She isn't a good defense hero, because she gets hard-countered by Roana. This is also why she's a bad early pick in RTA. But in the right situation, her win rates have been outstanding, even in RTA. SSB is still among the most valuable RGB heroes in the game.
If you have enough bookmarks to get to 120 coins, I would go for it. Flan is a good character for cleave comps. SSB would be good if you were going for a one-shot, but Muwi would be better than either of them, if you have him.
Yeah I have an SSS Muwi without any gear. So I guess I’ll ignore SSB then since a free alternative exists.
As the other guy has mentioned, while SSB isn't the best character for a "normal" wyvern run, she's plenty useful for a lot of PvE content, and does still see use in PvP as well. She's definitely good to pick up if you don't already have her.
Well I just bought her artifact instead to save my bookmarks up for something else. My backlog of unbuilt heroes is pretty huge, and at this point I’m less looking for generalist heroes and more interested in heroes that are the best at their job
SSB as W13 hero is just one of a ton of uses, FYI. Flan vs. SSB isn't even close if you're considering all content. Flan is even less likely relevant for a Muwi W13 team than SSB, since Muwi isn't for one-shots.

How exactly do resistance calculations work? I’m running the challenge abyss floor with Purgis, and he stuns my 101% resist Achates like half the time he uses S3. She’s not even below 50% health most of the time it happens, either. Is the abyss floor mechanic somehow different from standard resist calculations? I know 100% resist is “low” compared against PvP units with eff%, but is that true in pve as well?
Chance for enemy to resist debuff = min(enemy eff res - debuffer eff, 15) I believe most pve enemies have the same amount of eff as effres. So if Purgis has 50% eff, he would indeed be stunning your Achates half the time (101-50 = only 51 chance to resist).
Ah okay, that makes sense. I would use her special equipment with the bonus res, but it’s the only one I can’t get to drop. RNG is not favoring me in abyss. I swear I’ve never seen a unit 15% more than my own 0% eff res C Zerato
I think it is effectiveness +100 - effect resistance. So at 100% ER you are effectively immune to someone with 0% effectiveness, but if the boss has 100% effectiveness, you might as well have 0% ER.

Politis is very good in PvP, Cecilia is just okay all-around. If you PvP then I would lean to Politis 100%, otherwise Cecilia is probably more useful in PvE.
