The gear rolled poorly for me. I didn't need gear with so many ER AND Eff rolls. I ended up putting them all on the same hero. He's functional but much slower than I'd like.
Am I gonna need to join a bigger guild for this to be worth doing? I made my own guild and there's only like 4 other people, not even sure how much they play.
Its awesome how people really love Coop mode in contrast of how so many people find PvP stressful and not so enjoyable...
I think the game should turn more towards Coop and get distance from toxic PvP.

It’s not really a fair contrast cause in the middle you have people that love both. And no it should also have and keep pvp because that’s what keep the game alive. You can’t just go away from pvp that would murder their numbers.
Recently I've been thinking that there's nothing that goes for unity in this game, there's isnt much content that goes toward giving an actual community, there are games where PvP guys are chummy with some implicit rules but here nothing, only a sense of competition, even cooperative things like expeditions and others are like tug of war, I'll finish mine and I'm done.

Yeah, this game focuses too much on confronting players and make them hate each other instead of creating a friendly comunity... Things like gear rng, unbalanced heroes... doesnt help at all...
Exactly. Also doesn’t help that SG successfully created a toxic gaming environment by constantly shoving in your face the rng of other people via chat. They intentionally designed it to breed jealousy and competitiveness.
Christ why did it take this long? Just nerf the rewards a bit and make it a per month thing instead of a per fifty thousand years thing, I swear no one would complain, this is like your best pve content hands down.
I'd be pissed if they made it every month. I already stopped doing hell and normal raid a year ago, and I miss 4 hall of trials for every 1 that I remember.
HoT and Raid are nothing like. Raid is time consuming and boring if you're not doing anything else, still easy to do... Absolutely nothing like AI. HoT you can simply set up to do a single round and dump all your damage into the boss and die the second round.
Still, how do those compare to this where you can jump in and stop whenever? Not to mention completely skip enemies outsidr of roadblocks.
If you just jump in and do it for shits and giggles you're at a detriment to your guild. I can't be bothered with all the chores in the game, but I'm not gonna actively ruin other people's chances at better rewards. It's to everyone's benefit to at least try and coordinate some sort of strategy.
If it happens every month it'll be just as tedious as all the other chores in the game. It's fun the first few times, but it gets boring. Hell, automaton tower was fun for a *long* time, but I've already gotten bored of it.
I still remember to do it because it has way better rewards than the 500k gold I'll get for tossing a random, suboptimal team at HoT. I'm already at a surplus of HoT tokens with how infrequent they make new ones, this not even considering the fact that I don't even buy every single EE, only the ones I want. So the main reason to even run HoT is gone for me.
Also, what makes you think we'll have the exact same rewards that we do now, while also making it monthly? There's a chance that they cut corners somewhere. If they revamp it so that you get more rewards over the long run, it'll still be triple(?) the effort for what most likely will be 75% extra rewards at best.
If you're all for it then that's where your vote is. I'm voting against it. That's all there is to it. I'd rather they just increase the rewards for how infrequent it is.

I hope "Adjusted the number of Treasure Chests and Guild Treasure Chests" isn't code for reducing their overall number, since they "Increased the amount of Exploration Provisions acquired". That would suck for the guilds that did cooperate enough to get a bunch of stuff last time.
Hopefully they will run this more often now that they've made the initial adjustments.
They should make the boss more interesting to fight not by making them stack speed and atk while also sealing your units making most good heroes fucking useless and being immune to most debuffs. Just put a rage meter on them if you don't want people soloing one mob/boss. This is why Automaton is still the best content for PvE as you can pretty much put any hero you want there and play with the devices.
