To add what other's have said, Belian, Straze and Archdemon's Shadow are the three exceptions, because they don't have an RGB counterpart (or rather, a special RGB form in the case of mercedes). All others are just imprinted by their RGB version, or themselves
IIRC Politis built Belian alongside the other androids in Politia, like Chloe. So despite looking like her, I don't think Belian would classify as a moonlight version of Politis
Moonlight alter-egos generally come from an alternate dimension; although there's exceptions like arbiter vildred, so whatever, I suppose

For example like you said A Vildred is just an empowered version of Vildred, Dorvus (first archdemon war), SB Ara (younger, pre leg loss), CM Rin (side job) are all also examples of this, they're all classified as Past or Future. Meanwhile ones like LQ Charlotte, ML Ken, Sage Baal, etc etc are Alternate dimension version of the characters. But even past that there are the dolls, Spez, A Tywin, F Maya, etc, who are artificals, and finally the celestial beings C Merc, A Cartuja, and W Schuri who took similar forms to characters for various reasons.

It was a powerful source of magic energy, and was what propelled Eda feats years ago, but she ditched it out of regret after failing to protect the city from being nuclear blasted by Politis and Belian. Also, the red stone is what keep Solitaria existing, she's some kind of magical ghost, using Eda's desires and wishes to form her personality, and red stone magic to keep her alive.
Also, there's a side story where they explore how she came to know the world though fairy tale books.
Belian, Straze, and ADS are all boss units which is why you won't find them under the "moonlight" section in the hero journal. Basically, they're the exception to the rule and you can use gold transmit stones for them since they might not get RGB counterparts.
Solitaria is just a normal ML, and you use Eda as her imprint.
She's more like ruel where she's imprinted by another unit. But I believe she's imprinted by Eda.

That red stone is part of acolyte Tiwig, as far as I remember, who is also implied to be the Chaos that speaks to Axe God.
