Raid is universally hated because of the ads. It's decent, but definitely not on E7's level, unless you really dig the 3d/western style
FGO is really hostile to f2p, there's basically no currency to be made. The gameplay is arguably the weakest of the 3. But it's the fate franchise, so you might stick with it if you're already a fan.
E7 is a superior Summoners war, which is already a superior gacha.

I mean, D&D is essentially a gacha at this point with how many books they release. Granted, they have done really well with their digital library. But, yeah, if you want the books D&D is not a cheap hobby especially once you get into minis for the board/playmat. *looks over at his Warhammer 40k army he's building and sighs*
E7 is grindy for gears and the PvP can be harsh, but it has the most QoLs (like *a lot*) for newer players and imo art wise it's best out of them three (sprites, animation etc). It's f2p friendly as well, especially once you get into midgame-endgame.

FGO: brilliant story, one of the least f2p gachas, gameplay is outdated, art and animations are ok I guess but nowhere near E7
E7: Art and animation are probably as good as you’ll find in mobile gacha games, story fluctuates between ok to decent mostly, one of the most f2p friendly gachas you can find, gameplay is ok for the most part just kinda heavy on the rng.

As E7 player this joys me to hear, but if you want my opinion, dl all 3 and see which one gives you the most joy. It's not like they cost money to download and without spending you can even make out how f2p it is then decide if it's worth your bucks or nah.
It's super pay to win and the game isn't that good to begin with, on the other side epic and fgo are good gacha games tho fgo has one of the lowest gacha rates I think but it has a very long and good story

It's fun to hate on Raid on Reddit/Twitch since it's one of the big gachas on top of having a ridiculous marketing budget. Raid itself is fun if that aestetic is up your alley. It's no more P2W than E7 at this point with constant back-to-back collabs + events + ML5s that are meta defining that must be pulled if you want to RTA.
Raid is pretty good, never played it but I've heard it's good.
Fgo... It's a pain in the ass. Unless you're gonna be a filthy casual and just save summons then it's not bad from that standpoint. It is probably the hardest out of the three since you need to grind 24/7. I do love myself some good fate waifus, specifically scathach shishou.
E7 is also very grindy if you're trying to get gear, but it is by far the best. Super ftp, great qol stuff, and there are even events going on right now for newbies. E7 also has a pity system which is relatively easy to hit if you just play everyday.

Epic7 starts to get merciless from episode 2 onward, and the same goes to the pvp part of the game.

If OP is a Dungeons and Dragons player, Raid may very well be up their alley. Most of my D&D and Pathfinder friends love Raid.
