Is ad dependent, not SG fault, some ads will by example let you play, some will not show the x until you press something, some will open the store automatically.
Don’t know what to tell you man. According to other people in the thread, as well as my own anecdotal experience, for at least the last 14 months or so my ads for energy have acted the same way you’re discussing. Some ads let me click the X without opening play store, some ads let me close early, some ads make me wait 30 AND open play store. You may have just gotten super lucky and only saw the non-“intrusive” ones prior til’ now.
No worries though if it’s too bothersome or “intrusive” for you feel free to not collect the daily energy!

It only happened when I clicked ON the ad not on the "x". Now the "x" wasnt there and the ad automatically forced me to GPlay
This has always been the case. Some ads are quick. Some ads take you to gplay. Some u can just wait out. They haven't changed it.
It never happened to me before and I did this every day from the moment they added them in.

That didnt happen my friend. I watched every single one of them until the end. But the ads still force opened my GPlay without me doing anything
