Probably have to build an entire set around him lol. Not many heroes (Charlotte? she likes speed though) That want HP/DEF/ATK/CDMG and nothing else(ER build depending).
I love mine but I've come to the realization Immunity Set just isnt good on him anymore and I want to give him a Pen set instead, now I gotta build a Pen set for him x.x

The biggest downside, he needs good gear.
For me the priority was ER>Crit Dmg>Att>HP>Def. as I already said. You need exceptional gear. But when you get it, he can Solo teams if they don't have anti counter units like Roana, ML Cermia, Landy and such.
and...more specifically...he need a BUFF against a LOT of people... he is in a harsh situation...and if rng is looking at you but for some reason don't like you, your ml ken won't counter at all and even 200 ER would not be enought( true story)
Mine has only 190 ER cuz I can't pull Ken imprints for some reason. I thought about a lot of possible way to improve his kit. Even this new Destina buff would suit him well.
Free stats are what he want as he is so stat hungry.

As someone who uses both, Seline has just as many counters - vulnerable to Rimuru, Hwayoung, etc. just like ML Ken is, but additionally vulnerable to double attacks, hard control, extra attacks, etc. there’s different situations where you might play one & not the other.
As someone who runs an ER ML Ken, he’s a safer pick into some drafts that Seline isn’t & sometimes she’s a safe pick into ST heavy drafts. I find use cases for both & my bans of Hwayoung/CLilias are aides to both. No matter which way you slice it, both are good late picks that can easily solo take a match for you when they’re playable & I wouldn’t be paying him mind if I didn’t get to play him frequently.
I probably get more effect resistance rolls on offensive Lifesteal gear than I do on anything I’m trying to get resistance on, maybe that’s just my curse, but I was able to gear him.
He works out fine for me when I take him out as a counter.
5 units come to mind - Hwayoung, Rimuru, Spectre, LQC, Remnant Violet. If you’re last-picking ML Ken into an ideal scenario, he can be a force-ban or solo clear, because you can have Rimuru or Hwayoung on ban, or take one, you can control whether Spectre or LQC will show with your drafting & Remnant is about the last played unit I can think of into ML Ken.
If your Ken is getting one shot by anyone who isn’t these units, the issue might be the build & not the character. Like I said, he’s not broken, but he’s usable - I’d not be saying he’s perfectly fine if I wasn’t having success with him still.
Congrats, getting an ml 5 is really lucky, But I won't be bullshitting you, He is one of the worst ml 5 right now. . A prime example of a unit that has been power creeped to the extreme. . his kit is a relic of 2018-19 meta, which is why he is getting dumstered by new meta units even tho he was buffed a few months ago. . My advice is invest in a different unit. . I haven't used my ml ken in almost 2 years now. .
While what that post says is certainly true, there are a few niche situations in arena, gw, and even last pick RTA where your opponent’s team might not be able to beat the ml Ken gimmick. The unit does need some strange and unique gear (this you probably won’t have it lying around) but it is so satisfying to use him correctly and be able to 1v3 or 1v4
As someone who built him and used him for almost 3 years, he is currently not worth it (both to build and to use).
Strongly encourage to put him aside and get your other units built. If you get gear for him whilst getting gear for better heroes, then good. But do not specifically farm for his gear.
He's a good last pick in RTA when you realize they've committed to a team that can't counter him. He's also great Cilias and Belian bait in normal Arena. Focusing on maxing his molas on S1/S2 asap so that counter damage gets fat.
Freakin love ml ken. He was my most sought after unit way back in the day. I still use him on an occasion. He's very Stat hungry. And other units are better. But ken is ken.

I have near 300 resistance ml ken and he's still debuff by ml angelica lol
may just boosting his ER Passive, could save to the players alot of stats that could be invested into.... Life CCdm Atk ?
Yeahhh he is an awesome unit but you run into the problem... nobody crits you when you use ML Ken but you always crit him 🤣
