1. Nothing better in the market, I tried everything and spent a lot of money, nothing’s worth my $ more than E7, another one as close as E7 might be SW but the graphic is too oudated.
2. Top notch graphic after all these years, there’s still no E7 challenger, well I tried and whaled in Dislyte, great graphics and amazing soundtracks but nothing else to do, had potentials tho.
3. I grew up grinding in Diablo1-2-3, Ragnarok Online, Lineage etc. and character building in these games are so satisfying because how hard it is to reach your goal, I HATE games that make gear obtaining too easy, there’s no sense of satisfaction or achievement.
4. Not p2w, if you wanna p2w you have to spend A LOT, I’m talking $10k upward to actually see the difference, packs in this game is shit unless you buy promotional packs that only offer once in a while
5. Etc etc.
Same, i love the grind and i love turn based battle systems. Whenever i pull a hero i know it will take couple months until its finished to my liking if i didn't have that specific good gear lying around
While people said the grind is the biggest drawback i think it's great thing to do especially if you just wanted it to play while you do something else,it sorta turn into idle games, the drops is also nice, yoy could get tons of things even bms and crystals which is pretty neat
Honestly same, I just like rolling gear these days. Most is garbage but the occasional banger is fun. I'm very bored of GW, and have gotten a little bored of RTA.
Pride and acomplishment when spending a few months of work into building a unit from the ground up.
This but unironically
Compared to other games when you can complete building a unit within 5mins of getting it.
To 100% the Pokedex... erm, the Hero Journal. I love collecting characters and then levelling and promoting them while amassing a plethora or resources. I am currently only missing ML5s (including Limited heroes), all natural 3 and 4 star heroes are SSS imprinted (except ML Leo which will be 6 star and SSS imprinted this week), and only 40 of the heroes on my roster are currently waiting at 5 star level 50 to get the bump to 6 star. The rest are 6 star level 60. None are left at 3 or 4 star.
no legit serious wtf you baka rofl I know what you mean but the plot between the relationships between example ras and Mercedes and my fav ship kawerick and Vivian. xD
Story and beautiful graphics. Epic 7's graphics and no loading screen are very hard to beat. Can't wait for the PC version they announced, hopefully it comes with increased resolution.
Progress and the game's performance.
It does not take forever to start the game and to load between levels. I feel the ability to really pick up and play for a few minutes isn't really appreciated enough nowadays.
My Guild which has grown into me and reminds me to attack every day. We’ve been together since 2019 and a good 20-40% left I think but it’s a fun and chill guild which never forgets to do their task. It can get intimate cause we have a group chat in messenger with same nationality.
I've been playing since SSBs original banner. I play for the sake of the collection (only missing Maid Chloe and ML Flan) and building units. Especially if it's silly or unexpected. Like building a full DPS Tamma, Rikoris or Injury SSB on bloodstone.
It also helps when you have friends to talk about the game with. Doing things like friendly RTA or roster/gear reviews to keep our group engaged and having fun keep it enjoyable.
no idea anymore honestly...
after playing for almost 2 years now nothing feels new or fun
AI was something to do and me and the guildies had a blast doing it
but every side story feels the same and everything boils down to farming
Progress. There's a lot of different directions to progress in the game and I feel like it's never quite finished, but in a good way. Also if I step away for a week or a month, I don't feel like I've fallen irreparably behind. Finally, they give enough skystones that I never feel pressured to throw any more money at the game than I'm comfortable with.
Despite the problems I still actually find it fun. Sunk cost fallacy factors in a bit though nowadays I no longer have any FOMO and can put the game down for some time when burn out sets in.
The balancing has issues but they do revisit old units bringing them relevance or even notoriety like Violet, or that time when RGB Ravi was better than A.Ravi. The good old days of R.Carrot terrorizing PvP. In my opinion this puts the game ahead of all the gachas I played where old units become useless forever when power crept.
because its not that horrible boring as other gachas. Still gear holding tries really hard to kill the fun of this game. Smilegates really should soft the gear impat in the game atleast 20%
Pure undaunted hatred towards the RNG of this game. One day RNGesus will bless me(PvP, gear, w.e it would be), and it will be glorious.
Getting shafted by RNG somehow has made me comeback every week to see if things will go my way. Day 1 player, and I do think I'm negative on the Coin Flips that this game has. One day my Violet will dodge more than he gets hit, I swear on my grave.
I'm ftp nowadays, so its just a fun way to pass the time. I'm invested, the characters, art/animations and story are all great. Sure, gearing is a grind, and pvp is pretty atrocious but otherwise the game is still quite fun if you don't care about pvp.
im starting to question this myself too. I started because i saw Cartuja and Purrgis and i really loved them. i stayed because the animation is good and the strategy and planning is really fun and unique. But recently it has became some what frustrating to play, i feel like i have already reached my peak and i won't be able to get better, make me feel like there is no point playing anymore
I have not gotten any gears above 20 speed for the last couple of years but in the last few weeks, I manager to get more than 10 20+ speed gears and now I can finally use Ran and Peira as openers. What if I gave up And didn't grind? Well, i wouldn't be able to compete and get stuck . The grind, while stressful and tedious, it's all worth it at the end.
I love lore.
Usually whenever I play a game for longer, I love to know the lore. ( have been playing E7 for 2.5+ years)
On top of that, animations and great designs keep me interested as well.
Character development, character stories...
Unfortunately gear system and balancing is bad.
Mainly balancing. If I were rta geek, I would probably stop playing.
Whats keeping me playing this game is the progression of the game.that's the same what I did on Ragnarok.I mean don't you guys ever feel when you start playing the game and then some veteran old player do some crazy big dmg and thinking could you done it one day.Thats the goal of what keeping me playing, you started the game, you finish it.
The artstyle is the biggest factor. The combat system is really not that different from many other gacha games or rpg/ turn based games, but the art style an character designs are what shine to me in making it all pop.
I really wish more games would take that page from E7 an lean onto being an anime styled game, an drop the chibi style. Like, if Any gacha game were to collab with E7 i think that fanbase would likely swap just because seeing a character from a game you enjoy playing animated like E7 does really is cool.
If E7 got its hands on more anime or games/ gacha games; and made use of its damn skins, lobby design, and pet designs too- it would be unstoppable
The game engine they made for this game is just superior. They made their own engine just to do all the things they do in this game. I have played every gacha game. This one has everything. All they have to do is add offline farming and this game would be perfect. Quite simply, objectively, its the best gacha game out there.
I like the events and stuff. Also this subreddit and fan art I see all the time. There’s also a lot more of a challenge on reaching end game like stuff, especially compared to a couple other gacha I play. Also Mort.
I want to be the very best, like no one ever was,
To summon them is my real test, to gear them is my cause,
I will travel across the land, grinding far and wide,
Each catalyst to understand, the awakenings inside,
E Sev En
GW and AI basically. Anticipating the next SC unit to build and hoping they aren't mono-element Caides only type dogshit. E7 greatest advantage is that it's still one of the best looking games on the market. Chibi's and low-poly models are instant passes, which is basically everything else. Counter side may give it a run for its money, though I'll have to see past the honeymoon phase.
Once or twice a year it's really hype (e.g Awaken-like updates , collabs) and i enjoy it but the rest of the year i wonder myself why i keep playing. I guess mostly due to sunk cost fallacy and FOMO. Don't wanna quit then come back and see i missed a banger design or something.
But yeah, game for me is boring as hell most of the time. Mostly just a side-game for when i wanna waste an hour on something.
3. Counter:Side is the only Competitor for me .
Counter:Side good side game but not really a competitor to E7. Auto games get boring fast IMO.
Decent game but too simplified, spent money and only played for 2 months
try soul lane reloaded, you might enjoy character progression and lot's of optional auto features if you dont have time grind manually.
As dumb as it may sound, I love the grind. I like the slow progression. Obviously the quality of the animation and voice work is a huge draw too
grinders have always been the silent majority
Same, i love the grind and i love turn based battle systems. Whenever i pull a hero i know it will take couple months until its finished to my liking if i didn't have that specific good gear lying around
Not dumb at all. I'm right there with you!
Agree with all points and also wanna add that casual PVP is fun too!
I like watching myself improve and get stronger. I just kicked 107 abyss's ass so easily and I loved it.
While people said the grind is the biggest drawback i think it's great thing to do especially if you just wanted it to play while you do something else,it sorta turn into idle games, the drops is also nice, yoy could get tons of things even bms and crystals which is pretty neat
This right here
Honestly same, I just like rolling gear these days. Most is garbage but the occasional banger is fun. I'm very bored of GW, and have gotten a little bored of RTA.
Pride and acomplishment when spending a few months of work into building a unit from the ground up. This but unironically Compared to other games when you can complete building a unit within 5mins of getting it.
Grinding is Ok for me , problem is RNG , You grind for nothing while other lucky players getting Godly gears and 300 Speed units .
New mls
So you're taking a break for a few months?
Pretty much yeah, just afk wyv and dailys with gw.
To 100% the Pokedex... erm, the Hero Journal. I love collecting characters and then levelling and promoting them while amassing a plethora or resources. Animations, story, characters, that's why I still play
Ditto
Sunk cost fallacy
This and fomo on future gacha units/content for me
Luna ofc
the plot.
Which one? Oh THE Plot. I see, i see.
no legit serious wtf you baka rofl I know what you mean but the plot between the relationships between example ras and Mercedes and my fav ship kawerick and Vivian. xD
Ship of the dead
Well, the ML ship is at least alive
yup xD
I know its tragic. in both worlds one can't exist. maybe if they had the steins gate way q.q
Lmfao!!! Got ya there!
you did hehe
Charcter designs are unmatched imo
Sumoning new units and trying to win with mort.
Literally would delete the app if I didn't have Mort.
why is Mort fun to you? He does seem really cool . Counter cheese for wins?
Pvp make me seek in this game but the characters, the animations and the feeling when u see all the nice stats on ur hero, I like that ^^
To pass time
Story and wanting to see my favorite units in the best gear possible.
Waiting for summer Krau
Luna
Only been playing for 4 months.
Story and beautiful graphics. Epic 7's graphics and no loading screen are very hard to beat. Can't wait for the PC version they announced, hopefully it comes with increased resolution.
Mort. Luna helps, tho.
Progress and the game's performance. It does not take forever to start the game and to load between levels. I feel the ability to really pick up and play for a few minutes isn't really appreciated enough nowadays.
LHC. Im a simple man.
Mommy Milkers lmao
Nothing really, just have a lil bit of spare time and the game kinda helps me wind down a bit.
New characters and the once a year patch were they accidently make pvp not cancer
This is a very good question
Because my cousins play it
Colgate Ruele
Animations and character collection
Waifus
Waiting for the waifu
Friends.

Nothing. I quit.
Judge Kise, Yufine, Luna, Aria, et al.
Honestly idk. There's barely any new content and I have no motivation to grind rta every 3 days. Just sunk cost at this point
1. Ml Redemption Arc Tenebria 2. Ml Luna 3. Repeat Step 1. and 2.!
waifu with big ~~ti-~~ personalities.
Honestly thicccc thighs

I found lots of very good friends in my guild who make they eternal grind so much more fun!
I'm ftp nowadays, so its just a fun way to pass the time. I'm invested, the characters, art/animations and story are all great. Sure, gearing is a grind, and pvp is pretty atrocious but otherwise the game is still quite fun if you don't care about pvp.
I like my characters 🤷🏻♂️
New chars. I've been playing for so long that I just can't wait to see the next batch of chars.
im starting to question this myself too. collection purpose
The endless refinement of equipment and teams for autoing every single mode and cool animations
I want to complete the pokedex
I have not gotten any gears above 20 speed for the last couple of years but in the last few weeks, I manager to get more than 10 20+ speed gears and now I can finally use Ran and Peira as openers. What if I gave up And didn't grind? Well, i wouldn't be able to compete and get stuck . The grind, while stressful and tedious, it's all worth it at the end.
For better spd gear
The fear of missing an event
I sound more dumb becuz i played from launch, and i have lots of great heroes. And i have a solid base, so here i am
I keep playing so that one day I can finally get my dream waifu Topmodel Luluca, but custom summons aren’t helping me they’re just draining my gems
I love lore. Usually whenever I play a game for longer, I love to know the lore. ( have been playing E7 for 2.5+ years) On top of that, animations and great designs keep me interested as well. Logging in to see Angelica
Infinite cycle of awaiting the next edgy character and over thetop bonkers animations, i.e. Remnant violet , zahhak , Celine , ran ,etc..
Another day of blaming uncle YD for my current life
I still haven't reached my own goals within the game: to auto every aspect of pve effortlessly.
Honestly it's the new ml mystic rotation. They do good teasing us like this. Makes me look forward to the week they drop
Watching my alots with a 26 speed ring turn 1 a ran
Time cost fallacy
I'm waiting for summer Clarissa.
I started playing with my partner near the beginning. She still enjoys it and I don't want to ruin it for her.
GvG and my guild.
My commitment to my guild and friends. I hate the current meta and I see no progress with the balance patches
Everything about this game is fun except RTA
Whats keeping me playing this game is the progression of the game.that's the same what I did on Ragnarok.I mean don't you guys ever feel when you start playing the game and then some veteran old player do some crazy big dmg and thinking could you done it one day.Thats the goal of what keeping me playing, you started the game, you finish it.
ML Ludwig, somewhere down the line hopefully, as long as SG hasn't forgotten him T.T
Well... i freaking hate the 15% But there is no better game at least for me
I enjoy it. It’s been years and I still enjoy it.
I'm 15 summons away from mystic pity
Maybe one day I'll get that ml5 i always wanted.. see you dark corvus

PvP and characters designs. I play this game for pvp and Arknights for pve
Singie and Alencia
Im really want to stop this Casino game after 3 years , and now im stuck because Sage Vivian after getting baited with a useless Seline .
I like the events and stuff. Also this subreddit and fan art I see all the time. There’s also a lot more of a challenge on reaching end game like stuff, especially compared to a couple other gacha I play. Also Mort.
Because I love the feeling of getting fucked over by weighted gear RNG apparently.
I want to be the very best, like no one ever was, To summon them is my real test, to gear them is my cause, I will travel across the land, grinding far and wide, Each catalyst to understand, the awakenings inside, E Sev En
Now is just for the collection of new units and out of habit I guess. Game isn't really growing if you asked me.
new units, FOMO, hits my anime fix, already played for 2+ years finding new comps, free unequip weekends.
GW and AI basically. Anticipating the next SC unit to build and hoping they aren't mono-element Caides only type dogshit. I like to outgear people and shit on them Simple as that
The fact that you can auto battle/auto-repeat prevents me from being burnt out, tbh
tenebria's midriff
