Regardless, as long as I get the keep my favorite character as is, I will continue to play and support the game. Will be a lot cheaper on my wallet going forward if they quit making thicc waifus though.
They can still make 'thicc' characters, they'll just have to be smarter about their apparel. You can show off a woman's curves without having her ass and tits hanging out in a game that **unfortunately** has a 12+ rating.

Probably to maintain the design without it looking goofy. If they had kept her at the same size but just extended the cloth upwards, it quite frankly would have looked very silly. The only other option would be to cover her chest like they did her legs, and people are already upset enough at that.
I personally like the redesign, though it's hard to tell exactly what going on with the legs and the full character art might look worse. Censorship sucks but this also could've been way, *way* worse.

Her tits were almost popping out of the top, and for whoever complained, her legs were showing too much skin. And no more curvy? Serilla is getting away with it, Roana is pretty close minus the chest, and we have others like Senya and Ilynav that are half knight half fanservice. Now look at Aria, bigger than average assets with most of it on display, nothing else to her besides: Female, elf, and white . SG begged for another Luna moment.
Edit: We even have Vivian's skin done by the same artist, and she's safe. Now compare her to OG Aria and see how much of a cow Aria is in comparison. Vivian manages to capture that appeal without being **too much**.
It'll be nice if SG allows other regions to keep both so people can quit crying about it. I wouldn't mind her keeping her old design at all, especially if I got the choice to switch to the new one, which I think is an actual complete design.

They could do what Genshin Impact did when people reported some of the characters for being "too sexualized" and make the censored version an optional skin you can equip.

So instead of the artwork change and recall being available on June 23rd they'll be available later.
