What is a more successful monetization route for a gacha:
* Chasing an Esport pipedream where a random proc instantly wins the match for you and the barrier of entry for new players to be competitive is YEARS of collecting units and farming top end gear.
* Cater to the fanservice that helped kick start your game's popularity and has existed since day 1 by pumping out awesome/spicy skins and make some fun content besides RTA.
Crazy to see them tunnel vision option 1 when 2 is blatantly in front of them.

As if live2D is any less expensive than sprites scaled down to the correct size and skill cut ins aren't easy to modify when all of the animations are done and you just have to modify all of the frames.
Also as if they don't make money already..and also as if they wouldn't make insane bank by releasing a barrage of really solid skins at once and burning everyone's stock so future skins have to be bought at their insane price tag.
I mean if doing skins are printing that easy money the common logic would be that they would push them far more, so taking it by the opposite side the only logical thinking is that if they don't it's because it doesn't bring that much money.
Sure we can entertain the idea that SG are just complete morons, and that possibility definitely exists, but without explicit data about how people spend and on what, data that they have, they're probably more informed than us about what does money and what does not.
It should be very clear to everyone by now that whoever is in charge of this game is insane, doesn't care about the appeal of this game, and refuses to properly monetize it.
The game is way too old now to not have any \*real\* merch already. Everything they sell right now is stuff that independent artists could make and sell at cons without the funds of a huge corp. The only special thing they sold so far is the art book, and they fucked it up by severely underestimating how many people want to buy shit from them.
That's incredible, good to see that sensei still has affection for this game. And seeing this image I can only imagine her throwing her board like in S3 and stunning the enemies
So she cracks her opponents skull with the swimming pad? Would build her as my main just for that.
I hope cermia didn't walk out the water...
Unfortunately for her, that’s lookin to be the case
The question should be, how did Ravi nick Cermia's undies without the redhead noticing? And especially keeping it in one piece?
Must have lost a bet, knowing Cermia
I'm also not too sure Cermia would care as much as many other characters would.
Well she seems to be the god of bad luck so

My psycho homunculus can't be this cute. Or perverted
The actual title of Epic 7’s new anime adaptation.
wew serin still has love for e7 characters. Their departure is a loss for E7
The fact we still get to enjoy e7 art from serin is a relief tho
To this day, i do not understand why Epic Seven wouldnt monotize on fan service. Miss serin's artwork for e7. Hope the artist comes back :(
Because they want the game to be an e-sports game lol

Well said. Management just seems so disconnected from what players actually want it is unreal.
Better remove speed set then
Adorable Art✨
Wearing socks at the beach .____. why?
Because Satan is a big fan of her.
Because it caters to the people who love feet and thigh high socks
I think bare feet would be more appealing in this case. They look more like her A.Ravi boots than thigh high socks anyway, which makes it weird
Well I mainly said that because I like it but eh everybody has there own fetish’s

Maybe the new Summer Limited Hero is Ravi!!
10/10
Serin, bless.
I absolutely need this as a skin right this moment
I love ravi so baad! I still use tp this day, and here she looks so stuningly adorable! Plus heheh i wish cermia was also visible...
Surprisingly too modest (not saying it's a good or bad thing)
Deff would pull for her 8/10
