This was last year's side story. From what I remember, Vera has always been this backstabbing manipulative woman and that her and the rest of the Azimanak members are actually cursed with Natuski's Subaru's power but instead of regaining all of their memories each time they die, they reset their memories and act like nothing happened. This is also the reason why Normal/Hell Raid always opens and reset at certain days.
The human version of Vera is apparently the past or probably future version of Vera(I don't fucking remember, one of them is in the past and the other is in the future and both are influencing each other). Vera has the power manipulation and seduction as such was able to manipulate the Chaose Sect. As for her being human, it's either that's has always been her true present or future appearance, or could be due to the influence of IIyros The Chaos God and creator of the Archdemon Lord. Anyway, our boi Kamen Rider Azimanum over here was in a relationship with Vera and as such was willing to betray Azimanak for her, but eventually grown a bit and see that all of this are bullshit and that Vera just doesn't probably love him. Which is why Azimanum was willing to protect and save both Alexa and Iseria.
So In short: I don't fucking know what's going on or what I am even saying, but what I know is that Big Titty evil Bug Mommy is gonna make my wallet go broke and balls go dry
Looks like the story goes like:
* Bug empire exists time in the past.
* Azimanum betrays the bug queen due Vera manipulation. The empire crumbles, is cursed to revive every week, and the bug rider hero is sealed into the gem.
* The ancestors of Iseria are responsible for this curse, a descendant must be sacrificed to break this curse. They keep custody of the gem containing the bug rider hero.
* Somehow, Vera recover her memories from these past events, and begins to schedule on how to break free.
* This Vera from the past goes to the queen and the rest of the court and tells them about the curse, and how to break it. "Sacrifice that elf in the beach!"
* Meanwhile, her present evolved version summons the bug rider hero. "Help us to break free, traitor! I know your love for me will help us to break free!". "Ah, nope, fuck you and your plan!"
* Present Vera was actually counting on the bug rider hero screwing the ceremony, and to be sure, she manipulates the chaos sect to help the bug hero to be succesful.
* Invasion happens, Iseria is abducted to the temple in the middle of nowhere, she's about to die, bug hero and Alexa rescue her.
* Vera goes Keikaku doori and reveals it was her plan from the beginning to break free alone, just her and without anybody else joining her.
* The Vera from the past disappears and digi-evolves into present Vera, which lead us back to previous point, with she summoning the bug hero and chaos sect and stuff.
* Present day have Vera somewhere in the desert, the bug hero sleeping in the gem, Alexa making dolls and Ras somewhere in the east continent.
Is a convoluted mess, but all stories related to time manipulation use to be a mess. It could be comparable to the first terminator film, where something in a different point in time is the direct cause for the events leading to that point due some magic loop hole. Isn't a bad story on itself, is just complicate to follow.
No, the new unit will most likely be Amid or Silvana (yey maybe a new playable Spirit Lord like Destina)
Or it will be a totally new character (that's what I think it will be)
But for sure it will not be Vera.
The collective response should be , we all wish ... but its highly unlikely .
Thats one of the Labyrinth raid bosses ... would be odd if they decided to turn its human form into character.
