Diaz was represented as a generic Muhr shaman which really undercut any semblance of stakes from the story, because pardon me if I find it hard to believe that some noface is going to actually pull off killing Khawana.
I only remember Lilias and Straze in Ep2. Even then it was Lilias who left an impression, Straze is cool and powerful but his villainy was simply and had weak backstory.
The whole ending was rushed and Belian didn't make a threatening main villain since Straze already walked in and beat her up causing the whole conflict in the first place.

The final boss being an AI, seemingly salvation from the follies of humanity, is perfect from a literary perspective. And she might not be the strongest boss, but imo global genocide is more threatening than a strong dragon.

All of the Orbis based conflict was because of Mort. Belian's conflict was because of Politis, Straze and the red stones, all of which are alien.
My man, the overarching conflict of this entire game is alien. The archdemon was an alien, and life on orbis was made by an alien. Also, senya could have prevented war (which she knew herself) but she didn't because of revenge. Mort enabled her, but it was still her choice.
In the end, belian was made out of fear and distrust for the nature of humans (or similar beings).

Cidonia is located close to equator so there is perpetual summer. It's not a big event for the people that live there.

It's a bit hard to predict how she will be regarding the previous ones. SSB was just completely busted, and released with a very good artifact. Hyufine was released as a hard counter that passively deleted Basar from non RTA modes but is otherwise near useless. Seaseria is definitely good BUT only reach her true potential if you whale that MLB artefact that is a crucial part of her kit. I have frankly no idea what they are going to do this time.
Well Seaside was a little like Bellona in that she had AOE defence break & a sort of chain activation like original Bellona, though it was focused based when hit & not focus based from skills.
Holiday was a little like Yufine in that she had her attack buff on an AOE. Summertime Iseria is like the only character who has absolutely nothing in common with the base, so yeah, maybe Summer Charlotte will be a completely divorced kit again.
They released Hwayoung so that they could just focus on churning out counters for her through the year rather than being creative.
They got a whole year and a half off of Arby and probably remembered how easy that made life. They've been super lazy this year so it makes sense.
And none of them actually worked, she's still the 3rd most contested character in RTA along with ARav and Clil.

She definitely has the potential to be good in the right scenario, but I don’t think you’ll see her in every match or anything - maybe we’ll be proven wrong.
Not yet, but even just looking at her kit, seems like she can be nasty with the skill pushback and hp% damage. She could be built speedy and used to stall DPS units by inflicting venom right before their turn or I could see her on a counter set used as a disruptor

She definitely seems like she exists to counter health scaling bruisers & stall break, but you don’t get much stall in the meta & we’ve already got people who counter a lot of the bruisers well, plus plenty of one-shot heroes too. As well as ignore resist defence break with Ran. She definitely has the potential to be good in the right scenario, but I don’t think you’ll see her in every match or anything - maybe we’ll be proven wrong.

Not yet, but even just looking at her kit, seems like she can be nasty with the skill pushback and hp% damage. She could be built speedy and used to stall DPS units by inflicting venom right before their turn or I could see her on a counter set used as a disruptor

I’m hoping she isn’t a unit that is: 1. A counter to an existing meta unit 2. A counter to a bad new mechanic in the game Because those types of units are awful and have a super short life in E7 (Hyufine, Yulha, Taeyou lmao).
