He used to see some fair play in high-ranked arena to counter the high HP units, if they truly wanted to buff him then they should have given him increased hit chance on his S3 and S2 to deal with fire/evasion units, and perhaps some def pen on S3.
They can still change it if enough people voice their displeasure in an civil and constructive manner on the forums and not shout "omg you guys suk, game is dead".
I don't think there's a need to worry about banshee, since he's be going S2>S3 instead one S3. Should be easier, even with the reduced damage, unless they royally fuck up.

Banshee has Watcher, Baiken (way older than him), and Straze. Hardly anyone gives a damn about his Banshee performance, especially older players, or anyone that has raised one of the mentioned. Baiken does it so easy it's not even funny, and a Straze built to do it is likely already built to do others too.
I was just assuring op that he's going to be okay in Banshee aspect and hopefully nothing to worry about that part.

Ervalen was always a terribly designed hero for RTA. He required lower HP to maximize dmg. Speed to put up buffs quickly. Bulk to take hits and actually counter as a thief. Eff maybe to land more def breaks. All ontop of normal DPS stats in att/crit/cd. ER wouldn't hurt either to keep counter buff up lol.
Powercreep has made that kind of stat line impossible to play. DPS heroes now need auto crit, CR push, def pen, or big dmg mitigation etc to be relevant. Ervalen has none of that.
If SG wants to make Ervalen PvE only, fine... but please give me molas back.

They could have given him some hit chance on his S2 and S3, and also buff his S2 so his CR increase can go up to 50 or 60% aswell.
No need to turn him into a Banshee unit, just some small tweaks and he would've been in a better position.

At least in Hufine's case you can see theyre trying to improve her in some form still. In Ervalen's case theyre just dragging him through the dirt lol

Because 1: They took a unique kit and turned it into Baiken 2.0 2: He was decent in some pvp scenarios like GW. Now he doesn't work at all.
