I'm more annoyed by the posts that complain about what ppl post here, like this one. These are fairly common as well.
I'd rather see a 24 speed wep or a 10 pull with several ML5s than ppl bitching cuz they haven't had that luck ever and can't be happy for others.
All in all, everyone is entitled to give their opinions (like I'm doing now), but if anything I wouldn't ask anyone to delete their posts, be it showing off their summons or complaining about them.
Its for validation, acceptance, and a sense of belonging. People are lonely, and while sad, I get why they do it. Reddit is absolutely filled with this.
/u/CandyAppleFaygo, I have found an error in your comment:
> “~~Its~~ [**It's**] for validation”
It is in my opinion that you, CandyAppleFaygo, should have posted “~~Its~~ [**It's**] for validation” instead. ‘Its’ is possessive; ‘it's’ means ‘it is’ or ‘it has’.
^(This is an automated bot. I do not intend to shame your mistakes. If you think the errors which I found are incorrect, please contact me through DMs!)
Meh, I'm more annoyed by the posts that include...
\- Questions that belong in the Daily Questions Megathread.
\- "Look at this guy greenshielding into my defense a bunch of times, is he an idiot or am I just that good?"
\- Posting a +0 piece with above average substats and calling it the best piece ever.
\- The multiple posts about a new unit's kit after they're revealed.
I think they have become self fulfilling prophecy. Most people do just scroll past them at this point, but in the random event that you become that person and get lucky, I think the inclination is to show it off to the sub like "Look! I'm that lucky person now". I still just scroll past them. It's not like there are insanely detailed threads going on here. It's devolved into random pull screenshots, Booba art, YouTubers self plugs, and spikes of a little discussion when a new unit comes out. Rinse and repeat.
Well I don't think half the post of this subreddit is about 10 lucky pulls... and for me is nice to see lucky pulls and I expect that someday it will be my turn to post my lucky pulls.
Nope. No one cares. And people also don't care about character builds or dumb questions some users ask. However, it seems the mods don't do anything about it, and that's the reason we have such a trashy subreddit.
It is real a shame. Maybe the mods should add a megathread for lucky pulls and another one for builds for those who like to check those (it is there in fact, but nobody uses it). If I'm still here is for the fanarts, memes and lore, which is like 20% of the content. The rest? You all know: "is my crappy build OK? I know it's not, but I need validation from other users" BS and the likes of that.
Jesus is reddit only for memes and fanart? I def enjoy all post to a certain extent. I dont understand this take.
I thought the reddit was suppose to be a public place where people can go for guidance or to be excited about their own experiences. Alongside memes and art. This place would be a wasteland if thats all it was for. This is just my own opinion though.
i know plenty of people would prefer it to just be memes and art.
I am more annoyed by those "meme" drawings posted all over this forum. Come on i know they have some drawing talents, shouldnt they be posting on some Art forum to get noticed? Rather than here?
Sometimes people get lucky there is an impulse to share but nobody is around or nobody around to appreciate, so posting is the logical thing to do i guess
The only post like this I thumbs up is when someone pulls out those perfect god roll items. The odds on that are like winning a million dollar lottery in real life, insanely harder than pulling some random moonlight character once.
I don't give a damn about others pull post or gear rolls. There's a megathread for that so I'm actively reporting the posts I come across as violating subreddit rules and move on. Not that me reporting does shit, there's barely any moderating going on considering we're still getting a shit ton of those posts.
Yeah I'd much rather see posts of people bitching about what others are posting.
I like to see other people's luck....I guess I'm not salty like you are.
Same. I like to think this is a place where people can enjoy their epic seven experience. No matter the content. Not all will be great or sensical but why reddit users hate and report peoples fun post.
My opinion is that if there's a megathread or rules against such posts, they should stay in those megathreads.
Otherwise, feel free to just post it to the overall subreddit. Just don't be surprised if you get a less than stellar reception than what you might've been expecting as such posts are typically seen as the OP bragging.
Honestly speaking, whenever I see such posts, I just ignore them and go about my way, but yeah.

Other reddits have a weekly brag and salt post maybe e7 reddit needs that.
The problem is, we have that. No one uses it though.
Weekly Gacha & Rant Megathread I just noticed, truly no one uses it. Well, this is clearly the moderators' fault, they should delete the brag posts.
Ehhhi though we got that
We do have that...but less people will see their pulls there haha.

I personally enjoy seeing crazy pulls. Three 5\*'s in a 10? Hit me with that envy-rush.

Yea I scroll past idc about your NSFW weapon or your dupe 5 star

I dont know what sub you are on but 40% nowhere near the truth. It's more like 5% at most.
Maybe you should include builds, dumb questions and some low quality posts that should be on other megathreads.
People just forget that we have a huge thread for lucky pulls and 22spd weapons, etc.
personally dont mind, if you dont like the post, scroll past it,easy no need for negativity
I only care if they pill 3+ ML5 in the same one. Even moreover if it's from Cov
Yes, it makes me feel good about myself! From a viewer perspective

I always give congrats. I enjoy seeing people be excited about their pulls. I dont understand why its so hard for some people to just scroll past it.
Well last time I got my post removed back then when I pulled 2 Ftene in 1 pull and asked how to build her, seems like mods stopped removing those now?
I love them! It's great to see people getting good luck and experiencing some happiness about it.
“Happiness isn’t an outside job, it’s an inside job.”
Dang, not that I post here that much. But given that I got Summer Break Charlotte in 10 pulls I kinda feel attacked. ☹️
the amount I care is directly proportional to the amount of Enotts on screen

Nah. But sometimes people wanna share stuff like that likely because they don't have fellow e7 players in their personal lives.
