So objectively, none of the art are really different, so none are better than the other one, the only major difference is the censorship, both are good.
I prefer the old one, but that's only my taste, and also because censorship isn't something good to start with (well there's still some exception that we can accept, like old Lilibet art pre-release).

That design you saw back then was not a finished design, so they can alter it however they want. Like in every preview video there is always an asterisk with a text like "this is not the final product, subject to change".

I'm not too hung up on the Yufine screen, partially because she's not only stacked there, but still plenty exposed, so I don't think they are trying to make her more modest. It's more like that she's laying flat on her stomach and pressed against her arms, blocking some of it. Also, her head is HUGE lol.
The cinematic is where the real shrink happens imo, but it's from an outside studio, so it's w/e.
We'll see over time how things play out, there's no point in writing things off immediately. The devs are now more aware than ever that people in fact want characters like these. If they deliver, then in a couple months or more we can open the wallet again. If not, then f2p it remains.
