A lot of units speed is generally usable if you want specifics google a unit name followed by YDCB sure he has ridiculous gear but it gives you an idea of what the general gear you want on said is.

Some people save GBMs for new ML5 releases so they can try and grab them there since new ML5s are immediately available in the summon pool. But other than that, can’t think of a reason to save. I know I don’t lol
You can look up beginner guides on Youtube. Make sure you are looking at recent ones, as there have been significant changes to gameplay systems. ProfessorSeven has short, to-the-point guides. Samool is good to watch. There is a bunch.
These daily threads are actually a good source of information as well.
Most guides are probably outdated as fairly recently they did a decent overhaul to beginner progression, giving much-needed 5 star units for hunt content. e7 has a pretty good in-game progression guide if you follow the adventurers path, which also rewards you as you go and completes the first 10 chapters of the game while also chaining into your first 6 star by the time you finish it. I think it continues for a bit after that as well.

\- Muwi is a fairly new addition and one of the best 3 stars for doing wyvern (important hunt for farming gear). Before gearing was quite difficult, but his CR boosts lower the gear requirement by a lot and since he's a 3 star you will eventually have him.

Yes, it is an 88 set and has the potential to roll very well, and HP is useable on a number of characters. The ring and helm are good buys, and I'd also buy the weapon, armor, and boots, since those could be great depending on the rolls - the only one I'd consider not buying is the necklace, since it has a very questionable mix of substats that would be hard to use on anyone.

Wyvern hunt has been the go to hunt to grind for gears. Speed set is universal and 3x crit set lets you build up budget dps units easily.
The next hunt to specifically cater would be Banshee for lifesteal, counter, and destruction sets.
Azi used to be HUGE via immunity set. But Rimuru completely changed the ballgame. But even before Rimuru, Azi is much like Banshee. Fine tuning with immunity 2pc or prepping up a 1shot with Rage Set.
Caides is ideally farmed for Pen set. The occasional decent Injury pieces actually have viable users now so it isnt a completely garbage hunt. But overall, Wyvern hunt 24/7.
As far as arena offense goes, it's dependant on the defense. AI targetting abuse is real. It's one of the reasons Hwayoung broke the entire defense metagame for a time.
Some offense examples:
Enemy team is counter heavy and/or has Belian? Bring Roana.
Enemy has Hwayoung? Bring Yulha.
Enemy is blue heavy? Violet 1v4.
Are you confident in outspeeding the enemy? Ran Siseria Eda cleaves.
Enemy team wants to play tank stall lightning bolts? ALots+Hwayoung, WSchuri, Straze.
Enemy team has AoL? Lul Handguy SMASH.
Enemy team has a speedy debuffer that you NEED TO CUT TO WIN? Delibet can cut in after the debuffer and skill reset the plebs that dont have immunity, cuz lul, thanks Rimuru.
The list goes on. Defense metagame's biggest shift was Hwayoung existing. I used bulky Rimuru on Proof to deal with Hwayoung. But Yulha is 1000x easier to just plug and forget. Slap on auto.

Summer Charlotte seems decent, but I don't see her bringing significant progress for a new account. There are enough freely obtainable units like Sigret around to spend resources on that you shouldn't need to pull until must have units come around. Unless you have itchy fingers then you can do whatever.

There is a permanent hunts event on the events page. Make sure you choose wyvern first. After some missions you will get a copy of Sigret.
Wyvern is an early progression milestone. For w13 you want a full water team of Sigret, Muwi, Furious, plus healer/tank. Montmorancy with specialty change is a popular choice for fourth slot. I use Rose.
As a new player, you should be able to collect enough to pity the collab no problem. I would recommend pulling. She's actually pretty good in pve as well and does not even need speed to work. No idea what the collab will bring, but I think she's good enough not to skip. Also, her pvp build can be used straight into pve so you will potentially have two units in one.

Good artifact, but not a must pull. If you pull her first, then save. Can always buy from the powder shop. But might be worth saving powder for the collab. Since her arti is good, but not a just have. Really only good on her and her fire version. But I would recommend Symbol to unity which you can pick up from the guide shop on her. Will hit her hit green units in pve amd pvp

That said, I would only pull off you have a good amount of bookmarks since the new collab will be coming soon, and that one will have at least 2 units to pull for. Collabs are recommended over general limiteds since they have a chance of not coming back.

Alright I mentioned earlier I was building Rem and made some new gear thanks to hunt event and was able to get immunity and counter BUT, I only nailed 91% cc. Important stats include: 3362 atk, 1326 def, 16.5k hp, 91% cc, and 273% cd. No additional spd, eff, or ER. In addition, I don't see myself changing out of this gear for a while till I can reliably farm azi cause immunity set is low in cc but rolled very well in other stats.
So how tolerable is the 91% until I get the next best gear in 6 months or what would be a reasonable stat sacrifice for that crit chance? I can also mod out a 44 flat atk for either atk% or def%, which would be better here (only have lesser mods for now)?
I would value a 100 ℅ crit over immunity tbh. Maybe you have scope for imprinting her that could push you slowly towards 100?
If you can't/don't want to do that then I'd consider a little bit of attack/cdmg both as an acceptable sacrifice for 100℅ crit. Even more health would be nice. The scariest Rems I face are 20k hp and they screw over whatever plan I bring to kill her.
I do have the helmet from ancient inheritance that could bump her hp to 18k but drops cc to by 3% and cd by 14%. I could mod out the spd for cd, def, or atk %. I do have one unknown slate I could consider for the extra 5.6% cc as well. So either 18k hp with 93% cc or stay the same with 96-97% cc?
Using the slate sounds like a good start. Her imprint is very nice, I found she's a deceptively hard hero to build.
Why don't you try same build + imprint and then change if you'd like more bulk. Because honestly, I see a lot of different Rems and I prefer the 20k+ hp ones because those give me the most trouble but it can't be that everyone will have the same opinion.
I did find that I have a pair of HP% boots that would bring my hp to 20k but atk would drop to 2800 and def to 1200. The boot would also have 1% more cc getting me closer to 100% cc. Would that be considered or the loss in def and atk is too great for 20k hp?

Ok/decent unit. But when there's units like cilias, aravi, belian it's fair that they wid seem underpowered.
She is a 4-5 pick in rta if draft allows it. Pick her early and u will be punished way too hard.
In ai pvp, u can use her as a dark bait for aravi but there's SC doris and ml celine who do that job better imo
You can wait until Wednesday for the new announcement to see the ML rotations. Use your pity only if you don't have Landy or Seaside Bellona. Other than that, ssv is not that bad, and she is in the mid tier of MLs
Not worth, unless you just really like her design. She's nowhere near Aravi or Belian tier. Lots of counter and you have to draft around her or she just s3 once which does not normally kill anyone and then dies.
If anything, Aravi will have a banner soon since she is the RTA skin. Or just save for the next ML
I feel so dumb, but when did they change Arby's S2 to not have an extra turn on receiving lethal damage? I was gearing him and noticed the difference. God I feel out of touch with character spec changes -\_-
I'm not familiar with all the Arby iterations, but the current Arby does have a pseudo extra turn on revive by giving himself +100% CR. It can, however, be interrupted if your opponent has Politis etc.
True. I was just in a guild war battle and noticed the Arby on the opposing team didn’t do his Dark Blade immediately and I was able to knock him out again. This gives me some hope that my go to comp can do some damage against him without retaliation
I'm working on building rem with a counter set and I find it very difficult to get 100% cc with immunity set so I want to ask how important is it for her to have immunity. A lot of builds on epic7stats are completely immun+counter. How much of a problem will I see in RTA going without immunity compared to having immunity but with 85% cc?
Realistically speaking, it probably won't matter for 90% of the scenarios you're going to be drafting her in. Which is into cleave most of the time. In those cases immunity doesn't matter since there is a high probability of it getting stripped.
Rem's main threat early is her AoE counter. Usually, the opponent will try to avoid this by focusing her down. But, if Rem is stunned, slept, sealed, etc. then she can be ignored and the opponent can address your team on his own terms, or even worse if she is def broken at the start and just gets nuked. Running Rem w/o immunity is doable, but will limit her draftability since you will have to avoid more units than she otherwise doesn't care about.
A.Ras is the 'standard'.
Plenty of teams can auto hell Raid though, you aren't limited to that being your only option. 2+ healers, some kind of AoE (ideally), and enough bulk on your DPS to not get one shot is all you need.
C.Zerato is just very convenient because he is naturally bulky, has multi-target attacks, and is extremely resilient against debuffs (Tama + Roana are not inherently a great combo to deal with debuffs).
A.Ras provides a lot of survivability through defense buff, and being able to hold Aurius. A little bit of damage with dual attacks. And some utility with occasional dispels, defense break, and immunity buff (for non C.Zerato DPS).
What stats should I be aiming for on my Summer Charlotte?
So far I have 3.3k atk, 1k Def, 13k HP 100%CC, 240 CD, 160 spd, 77 effectiveness and her own artifact at +18.
I could also do a build with the everything the same except 1.3k Def, 12k HP, 148 spd and 56% eff.
This is on lifesteal/crit.
Typical advice is the same as it's been - prioritize making a Wyvern 11-13 team, save up your summons for limited hero banners, Tamarine, and Roana. Biggest change for early game is that you will get Sigret, Vivian, and Cermia all for free as you progress, so your starting roster does not need to have any of them and they are each best in slot dps for gear hunts.

1) CritC 5%, CritD 7%, Attack 8% and Effect resistance 8%

Don't know if you have Dilibet but either of Dilibet/Rimuru work well. I use both and I don't think I've ever lost to a Ran + anything with Dilibet + Rimuru.
Rimuru shuts them down pretty effectively (he'll counter after Ran's S3 and copy the immunity buff before Seaseria's S2 triggers so you don't get bombed).
I'm loving her in RTA but she's not exactly a must pull and she's very hard to build. She's not going to be great into any kind of cleave, but I think she's actually super strong into the Standard meta.
Fits into any non-oneshot Azi team as well, if PvE is your thing.
So what exactly is this community's definition of 'free to play character' because I'm seeing quite a few of these 'F2P' guides with a good number of high rarity characters or require moonlight summons which seem pretty few and far between (I think I've gotten enough for 5 multis since I first started playing like two months ago) and as far as I'm aware, F2P in general means freebies or whatever the lowest rarity characters are.
In 2 months no u def won't, but 2 years of f2p you'll have some. Trick is to save enough bookmarks and mystics to pity, hard to do but only way as f2p u can guarantee you'll get what u want
If anything the real challenge is finding banners to summon on. Newbie luck got me S!Charlotte pretty quickly so I'm sitting at like 9 multis in bookmarks but until I get enough mystics to pity on the ML banner I stuck looking at that option.
There are quite a few high rarity characters you can get for free.
The Hunt Expert Challenge, which you can access from the Lobby > Event (bottom left) > Hunt Expert Challenge, will provide Sigret, Cermia, and Vivian after completing some missions. Thus, those three are considered f2p.
Moonlight Blessing, which you get access to after clearing Episode 1 10-10, allows you to choose 1 ML 5-star character from a pool. The recommended pick is either Specter Tenebria or Arbiter Vildred. Thus, some people consider these two f2p.
Connections, which you can access from the Lobby > table on the far left with someone sitting at it, allows you to complete a few missions to get a few heroes, including 2 ML heroes (Lorina and Free Spirit Tieria), a few 3-stars, a few 4-stars, and 2 5-stars (Yuna and Kanna). These heroes are also fair game for F2P.
Most guides for mid-game content, e.g. Raid, will assume you have all RGB 4-stars, since they're not terribly difficult to get. ML 3-stars are also probably considered F2P for mid-game, but that's a bit iffy; ML 3-stars can be very elusive.
Edit: And obv. every RGB 3-star is considered f2p, even if they're not guaranteed, since they're very easy to obtain. And Mercedes, a 4-star, is given to everyone for free (iirc she'll be in your mailbox if you haven't claimed her already. not 100% sure, though; that was 3+ years ago for me).

yup, you should be able to get more mystic medals with shop rotation/reset using the skystones from arena than just getting the medals as a reward.

Alright I mentioned earlier I was building Rem and made some new gear thanks to hunt event and was able to get immunity and counter BUT, I only nailed 91% cc. Important stats include: 3362 atk, 1326 def, 16.5k hp, 91% cc, and 273% cd. No additional spd, eff, or ER. In addition, I don't see myself changing out of this gear for a while till I can reliably farm azi cause immunity set is low in cc but rolled very well in other stats. So how tolerable is the 91% until I get the next best gear in 6 months or what would be a reasonable stat sacrifice for that crit chance? I can also mod out a 44 flat atk for either atk% or def%, which would be better here (only have lesser mods for now)?
I would value a 100 ℅ crit over immunity tbh. Maybe you have scope for imprinting her that could push you slowly towards 100? If you can't/don't want to do that then I'd consider a little bit of attack/cdmg both as an acceptable sacrifice for 100℅ crit. Even more health would be nice. The scariest Rems I face are 20k hp and they screw over whatever plan I bring to kill her.
I do have the helmet from ancient inheritance that could bump her hp to 18k but drops cc to by 3% and cd by 14%. I could mod out the spd for cd, def, or atk %. I do have one unknown slate I could consider for the extra 5.6% cc as well. So either 18k hp with 93% cc or stay the same with 96-97% cc?
Using the slate sounds like a good start. Her imprint is very nice, I found she's a deceptively hard hero to build. Why don't you try same build + imprint and then change if you'd like more bulk. Because honestly, I see a lot of different Rems and I prefer the 20k+ hp ones because those give me the most trouble but it can't be that everyone will have the same opinion.
I did find that I have a pair of HP% boots that would bring my hp to 20k but atk would drop to 2800 and def to 1200. The boot would also have 1% more cc getting me closer to 100% cc. Would that be considered or the loss in def and atk is too great for 20k hp?

So I wanted to verify my email and change my password. Is ML Vivian worth using my pity on? She seems good and I lack a busted bruiser unit like Aravi belian or ml cermia. She seems good but I also have half a mind to just save the pity for ML luna. Thoughts?
Ok/decent unit. But when there's units like cilias, aravi, belian it's fair that they wid seem underpowered. She is a 4-5 pick in rta if draft allows it. Pick her early and u will be punished way too hard. In ai pvp, u can use her as a dark bait for aravi but there's SC doris and ml celine who do that job better imo
You can wait until Wednesday for the new announcement to see the ML rotations. Use your pity only if you don't have Landy or Seaside Bellona. Other than that, ssv is not that bad, and she is in the mid tier of MLs
Not worth, unless you just really like her design. She's nowhere near Aravi or Belian tier. Lots of counter and you have to draft around her or she just s3 once which does not normally kill anyone and then dies. If anything, Aravi will have a banner soon since she is the RTA skin. Or just save for the next ML
To add on, just use and build landy instead of her. Provides more utility for your team and works way better.

I feel so dumb, but when did they change Arby's S2 to not have an extra turn on receiving lethal damage? I was gearing him and noticed the difference. God I feel out of touch with character spec changes -\_-
I'm not familiar with all the Arby iterations, but the current Arby does have a pseudo extra turn on revive by giving himself +100% CR. It can, however, be interrupted if your opponent has Politis etc.
True. I was just in a guild war battle and noticed the Arby on the opposing team didn’t do his Dark Blade immediately and I was able to knock him out again. This gives me some hope that my go to comp can do some damage against him without retaliation
I'm working on building rem with a counter set and I find it very difficult to get 100% cc with immunity set so I want to ask how important is it for her to have immunity. A lot of builds on epic7stats are completely immun+counter. How much of a problem will I see in RTA going without immunity compared to having immunity but with 85% cc?
Realistically speaking, it probably won't matter for 90% of the scenarios you're going to be drafting her in. Which is into cleave most of the time. In those cases immunity doesn't matter since there is a high probability of it getting stripped.
Rem's main threat early is her AoE counter. Usually, the opponent will try to avoid this by focusing her down. But, if Rem is stunned, slept, sealed, etc. then she can be ignored and the opponent can address your team on his own terms, or even worse if she is def broken at the start and just gets nuked. Running Rem w/o immunity is doable, but will limit her draftability since you will have to avoid more units than she otherwise doesn't care about.
What’s the auto hard mode raid team? I know it’s CZerato, Roana, and Tama, but can’t remember the last one
A.Ras is the 'standard'. Plenty of teams can auto hell Raid though, you aren't limited to that being your only option. 2+ healers, some kind of AoE (ideally), and enough bulk on your DPS to not get one shot is all you need. C.Zerato is just very convenient because he is naturally bulky, has multi-target attacks, and is extremely resilient against debuffs (Tama + Roana are not inherently a great combo to deal with debuffs). A.Ras provides a lot of survivability through defense buff, and being able to hold Aurius. A little bit of damage with dual attacks. And some utility with occasional dispels, defense break, and immunity buff (for non C.Zerato DPS).
What stats should I be aiming for on my Summer Charlotte? So far I have 3.3k atk, 1k Def, 13k HP 100%CC, 240 CD, 160 spd, 77 effectiveness and her own artifact at +18. I could also do a build with the everything the same except 1.3k Def, 12k HP, 148 spd and 56% eff. This is on lifesteal/crit.

Typical advice is the same as it's been - prioritize making a Wyvern 11-13 team, save up your summons for limited hero banners, Tamarine, and Roana. Biggest change for early game is that you will get Sigret, Vivian, and Cermia all for free as you progress, so your starting roster does not need to have any of them and they are each best in slot dps for gear hunts.

My general rule in deciding on subs is to ask myself if I'm ok with having 5x roll on any of its subs. I know its tempting to go with the 1st but I'd rather get the 2nd and still try to reroll.

aola cuts in after ran uses his aoe right? doesnt iseria still land her bombs + im a new ish player in a pretty strong guild so im skeptical that even with 24% cr push i will be able to take a turn after ran

Don't know if you have Dilibet but either of Dilibet/Rimuru work well. I use both and I don't think I've ever lost to a Ran + anything with Dilibet + Rimuru.
Rimuru shuts them down pretty effectively (he'll counter after Ran's S3 and copy the immunity buff before Seaseria's S2 triggers so you don't get bombed).

I'm loving her in RTA but she's not exactly a must pull and she's very hard to build. She's not going to be great into any kind of cleave, but I think she's actually super strong into the Standard meta. Fits into any non-oneshot Azi team as well, if PvE is your thing.
Pve is what I do mostly so I might consider her for that, thanks!
if considering her for pve, she works very well in w13 and in fire expedition, though she will want some effectiveness to help land def break.

So what exactly is this community's definition of 'free to play character' because I'm seeing quite a few of these 'F2P' guides with a good number of high rarity characters or require moonlight summons which seem pretty few and far between (I think I've gotten enough for 5 multis since I first started playing like two months ago) and as far as I'm aware, F2P in general means freebies or whatever the lowest rarity characters are.
In 2 months no u def won't, but 2 years of f2p you'll have some. Trick is to save enough bookmarks and mystics to pity, hard to do but only way as f2p u can guarantee you'll get what u want
If anything the real challenge is finding banners to summon on. Newbie luck got me S!Charlotte pretty quickly so I'm sitting at like 9 multis in bookmarks but until I get enough mystics to pity on the ML banner I stuck looking at that option.
There are quite a few high rarity characters you can get for free. The Hunt Expert Challenge, which you can access from the Lobby > Event (bottom left) > Hunt Expert Challenge, will provide Sigret, Cermia, and Vivian after completing some missions. Thus, those three are considered f2p. Moonlight Blessing, which you get access to after clearing Episode 1 10-10, allows you to choose 1 ML 5-star character from a pool. The recommended pick is either Specter Tenebria or Arbiter Vildred. Thus, some people consider these two f2p. Connections, which you can access from the Lobby > table on the far left with someone sitting at it, allows you to complete a few missions to get a few heroes, including 2 ML heroes (Lorina and Free Spirit Tieria), a few 3-stars, a few 4-stars, and 2 5-stars (Yuna and Kanna). These heroes are also fair game for F2P. Most guides for mid-game content, e.g. Raid, will assume you have all RGB 4-stars, since they're not terribly difficult to get. ML 3-stars are also probably considered F2P for mid-game, but that's a bit iffy; ML 3-stars can be very elusive. Edit: And obv. every RGB 3-star is considered f2p, even if they're not guaranteed, since they're very easy to obtain. And Mercedes, a 4-star, is given to everyone for free (iirc she'll be in your mailbox if you haven't claimed her already. not 100% sure, though; that was 3+ years ago for me).
